This was my first experience using a catering company and it was wonderful! Lindsay called me within 2 hours of my email to confirm that they could provide service for my mother's celebration of life. He was very supportive and said he would personally make sure everything went smoothly so I could focus on other details of the celebration. My mother loved tapas and the menu he created was perfect! Everything was delicious and fresh. The chocolate covered strawberries were a hit! I am so thankful to Visionary Catering and can't say enough good things about this company and would definitely ask for their professional services again should the need arise. What a a great service! Lindsay, from beginning to end was so helpful in planning our food (and helping coordinate rentals) the food was unbelievably good, the amount of comments we had on how good the food was, was shocking. If you enjoy salmon, the crusted salmon that they prepare for their wedding menu is insane. Great job, if we were to ever get re-married we would 100000% be calling back. Thanks for making our special day that much more special and great!

Having picked Cochrane Ranchehouse for our daughter's wedding, we were left to choose between three pre-approved caterers only. From all I could see, these three catering companies were used to catering to the western palate and our menu was Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi and it had special halal requirements. Anyhow, I picked up the phone and started calling. A quick evaluation of my limited options revealed that Lindsay at Visionary Catering was superbly knowledgeable in the intricacies of Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Indian menu and was also fully able to guarantee halal food options if needed. In fact, when I sent in my proposed menu, he came back saying you are missing a number of items and indeed I was. This was very encouraging. I also noted that Lindsay was very friendly and comparably priced among the three providers. So I ended up engaging Lindsay for the wedding and boy oh boy, am I glad I did so. It turned out that Lindsay had not only the food perfectly right in the wedding, the professionalism of his servers and his own thoughtful ways of presenting the food, and serving the guests were second to none. I had my guests who had assembled from all over the world but had one thing in common, i.e. being connoisseurs of indian/pakistani/Bangladeshi food, going back for seconds, thirds and fourths. Food was great and plentiful and people were absolutely delighted. I feel that Visionary Catering and Lindsay are undoubtedly a top notch high-end Indian food provider in town. Rest assured, they know what they are doing.

Most importantly, the quality and taste of food is always excellent! With other food vendors, we never receive any feedback on the food, but we always hear positive comments when we use Visionary Catering. Due to COVID restriction, we couldn’t dine out for a special occasion and most of the catering companies wouldn’t accommodate a catering dinner for 4 but Visionary did. Had a wonderful valentines dinner catered! Not often is Lobster an option, however the amazing chefs at Visionary were amazing! And they labelled everything for my dietary constraints! It was really delicious, and they went above and beyond in their service! (Even pre cracked the lobster)

My fiance and I were extremely disappointed in the professionalism and responsiveness of this company. We should have known from the moment that Lindsay (Director of Operations) almost no-showed our initial meeting, that we were in for disappointment. He won us over by showing his excitement and creativity for doing a fully vegan menu for our 120 person wedding. We waited over 4 weeks for a menu and quote (followed up many times over email/phone calls only to get responses that there were delays with vacations etc.). We were more than patient as we were asking for a full vegan menu and felt really excited at Lindsay's initial response to the challenge. On Sept 1 we received a menu and quote, which was for the incorrect number of people. No big deal, we responded almost immediately with a couple menu change requests and clarification on pricing for 120 vs. 60 people (assuming maybe there was cost decreases due to volume). Well to my shock and frustration, we never received a response. Imagine, you're stressing trying to plan a wedding during Covid and a vendor who is expecting upwards of $7k is ghosting you. It was so stressful having to follow up (via email + phone) to receive no response and have to start from scratch in your planning only 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. I would suggest for your sanity, you avoid this catering company. There are plenty of reputable businesses who would like your business and wish to make your life easier, less stressful and will give you the respect of simply answering your calls/emails.

Amazing food!! Superior Service! Great Value. I hired Visionary Catering to supply a traditional Turkey dinner for my staff Christmas party. I've used other caterers and the Westin to provide the meal in the past but opted to give Visionary a try because of the good service they provided during the inquiry stage. Visionary delivered the food right on time, had every piece of equipment they needed, the food was the best we've ever had (majority of the staff went back for seconds), and Visionary picked up their equipment the next day right on schedule. And our meal was less expensive than in years past. I would highly recommend Visionary again and again.

We found Visionary Catering at the Cochrane Bridal Fair last February and Lindsay was an absolute dream to work with. We originally booked everything for our wedding prior to Covid and once Covid hit Lindsay communicated with us lots reassuring and informing us of what changes would be made. The day of the wedding the food went off without a hitch. Our grazing table and main meal was a huge hit- the food was absolutely delicious and the service from the staff was 5 star. We also used them for our bartending and many of our guests told us how amazing the bartender was. The precautions they took were amazing to make our guests feel safe . I cannot recommend Visionary enough to trust with your event. High end food and service at a reasonable, fair price.

My wife & I hosted a two-granddaughter grad ceremony on the weekend. We called on VC to provide the catering support and they did not let us down. They were in constant communication from the beginning to ensure our expectations were going to be met. The masks were worn by the barista, server and chef and they were top drawer in knowledge, hospitality and service. All the pandemic guidelines were followed including a shield for the food server, while our guests raved about the cuisine quality. When the last nibble of food was consumed, they sanitized down, packed up equipment and were gone like the leaves of fall in high winds. They offer all-inclusive options, or you can collaborate and choose some supplies and/or staff of your own. They are very flexible in meeting your needs. Due to our venue space limitations our event was limited to just 25 people, but they can go way beyond those numbers. Covid really changed our wedding plans but Lindsay and his team at Visionary really stepped up and went above and beyond to cater to the constant change. We had to change our 120 person menu to a 12 person menu and Lindsay stuck with us the whole way and did a phenomenal job. I think I was most impressed with on the day of the wedding I never saw him but he was always one step ahead of us with getting us the sushi/meat chicanery for the limo, setting up a wonderful dinner with lobster tail and prime rib and deserts and veggys. All we delicious. He also tended to guests that were celiac and they loved it. He also did a great tasting with us a few months prior to the day which was great. All our guests were impressed with the food. We will definitely be asking Lindsay and his team for catering services in the future.

Visionary Catering is the BEST catering company! I have been working with Visionary Catering Company closely for more than 30 events for our employees. This includes snacks, various hot meals and holiday meals events for over 1,000 people. The biggest event was for 3,000 people including our employees and their family members and Visionary Catering Company successfully prepared and served BBQ and beverages with the highest satisfaction of our employees. Their food is delicious and it is the most important factor when I choose the catering company for our events. Everyone gave me a lot of positive feedback after each event. I was often asked that where I got those foods as people wanted to order for their family by themselves. They are able to serve all kinds of food. I have over 1,000+ associates on site which means that I have to consider all the options for vegetarian, vegan and multi-cultural factors. I also have various events every month for employee engagement. Visionary catering company always provides the customized menu for our site, so I do not need to contact other catering companies or other restaurants to look for something else. Visionary provided catering for our backyard wedding held earlier in August this summer. It was a small family gathering due to COVID but was an excellent day with great food, appetizers and bar service provided by Lindsay and his crew. Even after a lengthy delay in serving dinner due to photos, the meal was fantastic which is testimony to the skill of Visionary's chefs and staff. We had prime rib and shrimp skewers, stuffed baked potatoes and grilled veggies. It was beautifully plated and portions were large with seconds available if wanted. Visionary's staff were professional and efficient and very accommodating. Along with meal service they also tended to the bar and water stations set up. We were able to customize the menu and received very helpful input from Lindsay regarding menu choices and service set up. I would highly recommend Visionary Catering. You will not be disappointed!

Everyone loved the food and they did a great job with catering outdoors on a farm. :) They were super accommodating to all our requests and gave us our East meets West flavors that we were totally looking for. Everything was delicious....Yummmmmm And omg! The Strawberry Basil Moscow Mules were to die for!! Totally a hit with all of the guests. Where do I even begin? I’ll start with, I never write reviews. Lindsay and his team blew me away. We had our wedding on June 11th, and him and his team did everything to make it possible. I inquired with a few vendors, but when Lindsay called.. the kindness is in voice, I just knew I wanted him, and only him. I had no idea what the food would be like. I simply went off of photos and took a chance. He always kept in contact and would chat about the restrictions and what was okay and what wasn’t. He gave me HOPE. He wasn’t just a vendor, it felt like I was chatting with a friend. As a covid- bridezilla, he was so accommodating. I changed the menu, changed the date, added more, added less, added more again, and changed the date again. It kept going! Believe me, he never once said no, or told me it wasn’t possible. He was literally a fairy god “father” that did anything and everything he could do to make it happen, and he did. I didn’t get to try to appetizers because I was doing “get ready photos” and every person that came up to see me, told me the food was amazing! I only had the chance to try the entrée, and yes! It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Our family was blown away by every bite. I’m still hearing about it how good the food tastes till this day. The only regret I had was that I didn’t have enough time to chat with him. He made me feel like he was part of our family. He fit right in. I am forever grateful for him and his team, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking, because I will be a forever client. Every event we have, he will be the first person I’ll think of. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart. You and your team have made my day even more special than you could ever imagine.

Lindsay and his team made all of our wedding dreams come true. COVID-19 made wedding planning challenging, but Visionary Catering helped us surpass every hurdle and performed well above our expectations, making the day of stress free! Despite having to deliver the food ~1hr out of Calgary, the food was hot and absolutely delicious. It is rare to find a caterer who pays this close of attention to detail. Lindsay answered all of our questions throughout the rapidly changing restrictions and always accommodated our requests. Mid-planning, I wanted to significantly move up the wedding day and Lindsay was more than willing to accommodate, emphasizing his willingness to serve and deliver amazing results for his customers. I have used Visionary Catering for over 2 years for all events at the warehouse I work at. With us being a 24/7 operation with over 350 staff, it was hard to find a catering company who could accommodate. Lindsay and the Team at Visionary always come through for us. Whether its a Christmas Turkey dinner for 400 or a hot meal for 15, the food is consistently delicious and delivered on time. I also appreciate that the team helps set up and makes sure everything is right - every time. With Covid happening, we could no longer have a buffet style meal this week. Lindsay put together a great individually served option for us and the staff and management were all very pleased. Very reasonable pricing as well.

I wish I could give Lindsay and his team a 100 stars! I had to plan a last minute civil wedding at my home due to COVID, Lindsay contact me immediately, helped plan an amazing menu, and executed everything perfectly in JUST 4 DAYS! He said he would be my best friend that week and he really was! I cannot say enough amazing things about the food! Everyone at the dinner raved about the glazed salmon and champagne chicken in particular, they were SO tender and mouth watering good! The team also helped incorporate some vegetarian pasta and salad options for our vegetarian guests and everything was DELICIOUS! The handmade desserts were my to die for especially CHEESECAKE LOLLYPOP! I can not recommend Visionary Catering enough! They literally came and set up while we were getting married and the take down the next day was on time and effortless! I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding SO PERFECT!
