The food is so good! Love how you can customize your tiffin size and flavours. The decor is really hip and the staff are great. They are super helpful and the owners are really friendly. My fave dish is the fenugreek chicken - try it with pickled mango! The madras coffee and chocolate chai were great too.

I usually love this place, but it is been a while since I ordered from them. Today I got a meal through them. Which included 1 veg dish and Rice pulao which were delicious. I did order one garlic naan and 1 chilli naan which were very disappointing. Chilli naan had a description that it is made using fresh coriander and fresh chillies. Instead I received a plain naan with red chilli sauce on it(picture posted) and garlic naan was a plain naan with uncooked garlic paste on it. I hope they improve the quality of their food as it was before.

The Unni's South Indian Chicken is really good - wish my spice tolerance was higher. Overall the place is great for lunch or dinner. It's a tad on the pricer side compared to other lunch specials around the area

You may pick 1 dish, 2 dishes or 3 dishes in one plate. Big portion. The curry was so good and the service was nice! The interior decoration of the restaurant is nice too. Huge space and clean.

Food, choices and variety are excellent. Good price range as well. Excellent customer service! They added coconut desert in appreciation. The one thing I would like to point out is that it's way too spicy hot. If all food were medium hot, it would be perfect.

Staff don’t have manners to talk with staff and first Indian restaurant with no green chilli in the restaurant I order chole bhature and when I ask for green chilli they said they didn’t have it and more over chef said they never use or give green chilli to any one

The food is a little pricey, but the quantity of food you pay for is really worthwhile. The one guy there, who I'm guessing is either the manager or the owner is really friendly. Takes time to chat with customers, unlike some places that don't even care to give you time of the day. Very good place to get food from, but like I said, you're paying a bit more to get what you want. I'd recommend this place hands down though.

This location has been great for both experiences. Tried the chef special each time and I must say they didn’t miss at all. Drinks on the other were okay but nothing to go crazy over. Overall looking forward to coming back again in the upcoming week

Nice and quick service. Tried Butter chicken and tandoori roti with some rice. Also had daal makhni and palak paneer. To be honest food was okay (not so great, nor disappointing) but sweet lassi was very delicious. Location is good too. May be will try some other dishes next time whenever I visit Edmonton.

Amazing food with lots of choices. Gluten free and vegetarian options are just as good as the meat dishes. I was pleasantly suprised. The garlic naan is fresh and so good and the staff are very kind. 100% reccomend!!!

I visited the 50th and Ellerslie location for my 2nd time and I'm very upset with my meal again tonight. I special ordered the chicken Tikka masala and paid $20.00 for the dish. I got home, dying to eat and opened the container to find the worst thing ever... there was no sauce.. there was no yogurt.. there was no creamy sauce of any kind! It was just a spicy oil with vegetables and chicken and it was overly spicy! This is the 2nd time I've been disappointed with this place. I googled Tikka masala to see if I was mistaken with what it was supposed to be but every picture and description on the web has been the same. I wish I hadn't thrown it in the dumpster because I would have taken it back to them tomorrow... I only gave 1 star because I can't give a zero.. Tiffin if you're reading this I want my money back!

Delicious food friendly staff. We always order from Tiffin...well the reason for now a lower star...we came to order a take out. Since the chicken vindaloo dish is semi dry, we always got extra sauce ( small container) on the side at no charge. This time, they wanted us to pay $8 just for the sauce...sorry, they lost our business...

Excellent new Indian restaurant in South Edmonton! Tiffin has a massive bay door which they keep open when it's warm so there's tons of natural light with their 40 foot high ceilings and the aroma of all the spices fills the surrounding area! Their kitchen has a completely open concept which is really unique and must be nice for the chefs working there!

Delicious indian food. Ordered through skip and it got delivered piping hot. The flavours are unique per curry...masala is definitely spicier than coconut curry base and butter chicken curry base. The naan is very fluffy and large. There are a lot of options in how you can order. Either by plate or family style (containers). There is no film layer you usually see with curry here. Highly recommend.

Every week we get an order from Tiffin and it is always chicken vindaloo. Today, I was about to give a very very big order given the number of people coming over, and I started with the usual chicken vindaloo and asked (as usual) for extra sauce on the side and the lady said no we never do that and we can't do that. I said we ask for this every time and they always give us the extra sauce and she said no absolutely not shaking her head. I found this very unprofessional and she said that she would charge me $8.00 for extra sauce. We always weekly get the extra sauce in a very small container at no extra charge. I was really disappointed this time with the service and this was around 6:20ish p.m. (so if the manager wants to trace back who was on the cash). So disappointed as this is our family 'go to place'. Manager- I hope you do something about this-wasn't fair and its not good to be that greedy to charge someone $8.00 just for extra sauce (which we get every week with the order). Sorry guys you literally lost out on an order that would have been over $200.00 and you lost a valued customer as well as all our friends just because of this.

The food is great. They have nice combos so I was able to try variety of new foods and flavours. For anyone new to Indian food , this is a must go place. I am usually not a big fan of Indian food. But they have good menu options to chose from.

The customer experience is top notch here, they explained how we could select different dishes to put in our tray which consists of one rice or noodle dish and then 1, 2, or 3 choices of dishes. They even gave recommendations on popular dishes and what would be good for our taste buds. Really good value for the amount of food, definitely will be coming back for more!

It was our first time at this place. It was great. The customer service was worth appreciating. The prices and food quality is great. Malai kofta was really delicious that was offered in the tiffin service. I really liked the eco friendly plates they use to serve. Will definitely go again.

What an amazing concept, food is fresh, service is quick, and staff is always friendly & polite can't ask for anything better! Food is on par with the quality you would expect from sit down restaurant with the speed of fast food! Typically would visit here at least once a week, was a perfect lunch spot and always walked away full! The naan bread is absolutely amazing, made fresh to order for each customer, one naan bread could easily feed 2 people! Without insulting the quality of the food the concept of combo plates borrowed from Food Court Chinese food, in amazing Indian food. Allowing a customer to try different foods especially if new to trying Indian food combined with the option to select a plate based on their appetite is a great concept. Staff is always friendly, even started to remember who I was when I stopped in a nice touch in a modern world full of big corporations but like any service based business its the people who make it happen! Recently moved away and already missing this place, If you are local or new to the area highly recommend trying this place won't be disappointed.

I've eaten here twice. My experience both times was very different. First time was great, second time not so much. The good:- Food tasted fresh, decent quantity for the price and quick service. The bad:- The dish that I ordered was far far away from tasting anything close to authentic. Maybe it was a one off, but I have never in my life eaten a chicken tikka masala that had sweet Chinese sauce before.

This place is probably the best East Indian restaurant in Edmonton. The restaurant is modern clean and the staff are friendly. There was a wide variety of meat and vegetarian buffet options as well as snacks and specialty drinks.

These guys deserve more stars than I'm allowed to give here. Extremely satisfied with their service and delicious food. They go an extra mile to serve you. They serve authentic Indian food. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I love the modern touch they have given to the place. The owner and staff are very friendly. If it's your first time to try Indian food or have been eating it your entire life, this is the place for you. I wish I had tried them sooner. Highly recommended. :)

Zero waste friendly, their plates are compostable! Still plastic utensils though, I would love to see them offer a fully waste free experience with some metal forks and knives. Friendly staff, nifty decor and tasty food! Lots of great curry options, was cool to be able to order 3 different varieties. The meal wasn’t piping hot, and the garlic naan could’ve used a bit more flavour, but everything tasted fresh and I was impressed at the quality for how quickly I got my food.

Wow....This place is amazing. Food is so beautiful and flavorful. Amazing Mussuman beef curry, Butter chicken and Saffron rice. But my absolute most favorite was the Fenugreek Chicken and Garlic Roti, totally off the hook amazing. The space is so open and free feeling. The walls are adorned with the most amazing murals. Also how the food is served is unique to Edmonton and a breath of fresh air for the local food scene. Bravo.

Ummm...ok where do I start. So me and my wife picked up food from the ellerslie and 50th street location last night and when we got home my wife started to eat the chaat papdi and bit down on a STAPLE!!! Yes a STAPLE!! If she would have swallowed it ....this situation would have been sooo bad my Goodness that is sooo Dangerous !!!!
