I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great meal and wonderful atmosphere to go here! Best service and beyond amazing food. The Venue met and exceeded our expectations! We are celebrating our 8 year anniversary and decided to go here, honestly we were blown away just entering the restaurant as it's so beautiful. For food we ordered the following. Everything was just cooked to perfection. Again, The Venue exceeded my expectations and was a fantastic way to celebrate! - Osso Buco - Short Rib - Calamari - Bruschetta (Complimentary) The service was also very memorable! It's crazy how much great service can impact a great meal. I ordered the short rib on our servers reccomendation and I was not disappointed. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. Really added to the already amazing restaurant vibe. Would go here again 100%!

I went with girlfriends to The Venue for lunch, and it was amazing! The soup was steamy hot, just how I like it. I also had chicken tacos, and they were so delicious! The chicken was tender and juicy, the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Nice and clean with fast and friendly service. I can't wait for the next time!

Thank you so much for last night your great staff and delicious food capped our wedding off perfectly. Tinika is an amazing waitress and was great with the fact our toddlers were not the cleanest. She recommended great food and drinks. The food was delicious and the portions were great for the price. We have dietary restrictions and they had plenty of ways they were willing to work with us. If you are keto or on a low carb diet this is the perfect place for you.

Our go to place for eat in or take out. The best dining experience in the Fort. High class menu of intriguing dishes as well as lunch time fare of high quality. Friendly, attentive service. Meals are individually prepared and accommodate my wife's dietary needs. They have our business 100%. Kelsey and Ken, the owners, are also very public spirited and community minded and continue to give back to the community. We love them and their restaurant.

We've been meaning to try out The Venue for a little while now and we finally had the opportunity to do so on a date night, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, the music was set at the perfect volume level, and the staff are friendly and provided us with some great suggestions. We started with the cream of mushroom soup and the Caesar salad which were very tasty. They actually brought us out some complementary mushroom bruschetta prior to our appetizers and it was delicious. Not sure if this is on the menu, but it definitely should be. The pork chop with mushroom gravy was very tasty, as was the shrimp and mashed potatoes that accompanied it. My wife greatly enjoyed her beef bulgogi dish. The baked cheesecake with caramel sauce was the best way to top off an excellent dinner. We'll definitely be returning in the future and have already recommended it to some family members.

I decided to give The Venue another go after the owners graciously got back to me on my previous review. This time the service, food and atmosphere was impeccable. I highly recommend this establishment for any event whether you are looking for comfort or fine dining you will find it here. Well done, a knock out of the park for The Venue!

I took my wife here for our anniversary. We had meals from Ken's Catering before but this was our first time at The Venue restaurant. When we 1st walked through the doors we noticed how inviting this place is. Tastefully decorated and spacious ( covid 19 protocol). We ordered the day's special, of stuffed porkchop and shrimp with a cream sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Amazing, from the first bite to the last, we could not stop commenting how delicious our food was. We have been to many restaurants in and around the Edmonton area and this was by far, the best meal and best price. Thank you Ken and staff for choosing Fort Saskatchewan to call home.

Place was amazing. Great menu, too many items to pick from. Drinks were great as well . Had the dill pickle poutine, lobster ravioli and deep fried ice cream and wasn't disappointed. Service was friendly and quick...Definitely be going back again.

Despite the last review as a frequent go to this place since it open it is an amazing place to eat. Better than all the rest of the places around this town. The staff is super friendly and understanding and try to go over the top. My advice go try it yourself and make sure you have your appetite too and maklia frost sorry if you had bad service as you call it maybe try again.

The Venue has truly become a Fort Saskatchewan staple. They offer so much to our community with their Feed the Fort initiative and all the fundraising efforts they do. Their staff is always so friendly! They are also knowledgeable about gluten free and vegetarian options. The prices on their menu are a great price for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Their Sunday all day brunch buffet is amazing too! I can’t wait to go back.

I usually enjoy this beautiful local restaurant, the food is always good, as well as the service, but one thing I did notice while I was in last was that the bar area where they make drinks looked very messy and like it was being used as a storage room. It was a major eye sore compared to the rest of the restaurant. During peak dinner time hours the staff had a table setup that they were ironing linens on, they had a laundry hamper in front of the bar, behind the bar boxes were stacked to the roof. Seems like they new a location with more storage, as the storage is starting to spill over into the dinning area. Loved this place for the class it had, hopefully they figure out a better storage solution soon :(

First time visiting & it was for a birthday dinner ... we heard the food was amazing and it truly was . Such friendly and welcoming staff !! 10/10 recommended checking it out . The three dishes that are here that were a select few we tried . lobster Ravioli Steak surf and turf Shrimp poutine Yum yum!!! Way to go Ken & team

Stopped in for lunch. Service was friendly and caring. The coffee was hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered the half Greek Salad. The veggies were fresh and crunchy and the dressing was flavorful and just the right ratio of ingredients and dressing. My friend ordered the classic poutine. It was presented in a cast iron skillet placed on a wooden board. I couldn't resist sampling a few of the crisp French fries with gooey cheese and delicious gravy. The special today was tacos and we saw a few orders being served that looked amazing. There are plenty of other options on the menu...it is extensive and there is something for everyone, even a few kid's options. We decided that we must visit again on another occasion to explore the dinner menu. Our waitress recommended a weekend visit and suggested we follow them on Facebook for changing hours and special menu options available. The space was clean and the iron was set up for touching up the clean white table linens. There were only 3 other tables of diners, all female. Not sure where everyone else is dining in Fort Saskatchewan but this is a place you must visit.

There really isn't enough i can say about this restaurant. They are our go to place when we really just do not want to cook! And sushi... only place in the fort that has sushi worth talking about!! They also have exceptional customer service. Busy place sometimes, but well worth the wait!

The Venue has great options for when you just aren't feeling like the same old same old. Run by locals Ken & Kelsey, it's definitely the gem of Fort Saskatchewan. My personal favourite is the dill pickle poutine, it's incredible!

You walk in... everything's really clean, well organized and welcoming. Everyone is very friendly and can answer any questions you have. They have a huge selection of food... but no matter what you pick, the presentation and taste is 10/10. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The Venue is trying to be fancy but can't pull it off. Maybe it's just not my kind of place but I have never left a meal served by Ken's catering feeling like I need to eat there again. The food has always been meh and last night was even worse. Our server was terrible, we ordered a charcuterie board and the only meat was two types of pate and no actual meat. I ordered the special, pork chop in mushroom gravy and it was over cooked and dry. It came with a shrimp skewer on top of it. This was not told to me by our server and I strongly dislike the taste of shrimp. Very disappointing I will never eat at a Ken's catering "venue" ever again. I spent $92 for 3 meals with the only drink being an ice tea and 2 out of the 3 of us were still hungry. I only gave one star because I can't post a zero star review.

Had a reservation for 730. Ordered something, 5 minutes later was told they were out. Ordered another item, was told 30 mins later they were out of MASHED POTATOES. And then finally at 815 we walked out after receiving no food. Also there were only TWO other tables in the restaurant with people

Absolutely cannot say enough about this restaurant. Five Stars for top food, top community contributions, top atmosphere, top customer service, and last but not least, best takeaway food. Heading back home with 4 containers of their soup, $1 from each container sale goes to feeding the hungry. Love this place!

Support local and eat here! After getting takeout from here earlier this week we decided to come in for dinner. Tonight we were greeted by welcoming and friendly staff who went above and beyond. The restaurant was cozy and festive. The cocktails were some of the best and the food was equally delicious. This place never disappoints.

The Venue is a hidden gem!! I just visited The Venue today for the first time and felt compelled to write a review. The staff and management are very kind, and its clear that they want to give you the best experience possible. The food is amazing, and you can find anything from street food style with the dill pickle poutine and the tacos - to fine dining with the rack of lamb. Also, the portions are massive! I would recommend this place to anyone, its definitely a place you need to check out.

Well, was the first time for us. Went in with high expectations following some reviews on Facebook, but was not so fortunate as others. The music was fun, a piano medley style where we were guessing the names of stuff, but food and drink service were extremely slow, surprising with only 1 other table, I guess they were busy w catering. Anyways, the salmon came out way over cooked and the half a rack and chicken left a lot to be desired. For 100 bucks in town I would have a hard time going back here. We eat out a lot and just expected more than overcooked mains w bullseye type sauce. You can barely see the salmon on that 24 dollar plate and it was so dry thought maybe it was smoked. Oh well live and learn. Btw, the cauliflower bytes and fries were on point, at least the guy on the fryer wasn't asleep. Might give it another try but a bit hesitant on that.

The Fort is so lucky to have Kelsey and Ken. We made it to the Venue today and my goodness, we were overwhelmed by the incredible mixture of flavours and the incredible amount of quality put into everything we were graced with. Even the coffee was over the top. Thanks you two, and thanks to all the staff, I know the Venue will always be at the top of our choices when we choose to go out.
