It was my first visit in Ramada Catering but I came back with great experience. Food quality is awesome, quantity of food is very good, and prices are very reasonable. I ordered couple of dishes, Seekh Kabab, Chicken Karahi, BBQ Chicken, Biryani, Butter Chicken, off course Naan and Deserts, for my small party, and trust me every dish was so delicious and tasty. I would high recommend Ramadan Catering for tasty food. I tried food several times in surrounding neighborhood but I always disappointed with food. I was bit skeptical after reading comments of few customers but I am so glad that I visited and ordered food from Ramadan Catering for my party. Now Ramadan Catering is my favorite place for food.

Like any other curry takeaway.. Being a Pakistani venue, the cusine expectations were high..however they all came crashing down.. No flavor, naan were huge and dum biryani was ordinary biryani rice with well done chicken legs. Really no venue can cook decent Indian in Calgary

Truly awesome Pakistani food that you can take home for your weekly meals. One of the secrets about this place is that they make an awesome Paratha. These Paratha's are huge and taste like they are home made. Well worth the price. They also make an awesome Nihari and Goat Curry. We are too busy to cook so it's great that we can pick up food for the week from here.

I would give it 0 ZERO star if there is a option available. I ordered a half tray of dum biryani for a private party at home and trust me it’s look like three to four days old. It’s smell so bad literally so bad. We through all the biryani in garbage. I literally waste $50 bucks. And this is not the first time that I notice the food was smell so bad but this time literally a garbage stuff. I Will never ever go Ramadan catering.

Kebabs are not recommended. Dont think it looks yummy but certainly doesn't taste delicious. Shami is more like a daal kebab rathar then meat. Aloo Ghost had more Potatoes than meat in it. I dont understand why they have to take your food container behind in their kitchen to wrap with plastic wrap rather than just do it in front of you. You never know what's happening behind there, sometimes it feels like they are switching it with old food.

The prices and the food is average for the location but, the quality suffers every now and then. One thing I have noticed is the portions have started to decrease maybe by 5 to 10%. One of the major reasons why I stopped going is they put way too much spices in their meats. I have brought this up to the owner multiple times but clearly no changes were made. Like maybe offer some thing with a bit less spice or more for spice to accommodate the custom.

Bought three dishes. One dish that was tandoori fish was great but the other two dishes that were dum chicken briyani and bbq tandoori chicken were very terrible and the smell of both were stinmy smells. The briyani was very bland even though we requested to make it very spicy. The tandoori chicken did not look or even taste anything like bbq tandoori chicken. After eating the dishes we felt like vomitting same feeling like food poisoning. We had to yhrow the rest in the garbage. We did not call or go back as were feeling too sick and already night time. It took only 15 minutes to get home and no that was shopping before going home as one review was accused for. Will stick to next door.

Rora Sookey Chicken Shami Kabab Today when I came back to Calgary after 8 hours drive from my job which is in North, I thought lets buy some kind of spicy and tasty snack. I decided to go this restaurant and buy the Shami Kabab. I opened the packing and after heating I start eating, I found it literally like Rora Et sookey (hard like Brick and dry) chicken Shami Kabab. I did not find even 10 percent of chicken in it. All was mostly dal/pea. Also I don't know how long before the ingredient was made. May they mix it recently to make these Shami, but I am doubted if the ingredient was prepared recently. I cannot eat and rest of three are still in their packing. I just wasted my Eight Dollars plus tax. Never recommend that people should waste their valuable money to buy these. Even not to try once, as I have tried it first time and had this experience of very expensive purchase and nothing like shami kabab. These guys should know about the Shamai Kabab and what the Shami kabab has the taste along with ingredients and the ratio, if they claim it Pakistani catering. In the morning now I am having the disturbance and disorder in my stomach as the result of eating just one shami, while other 3 piece are still in the pack. I have to go to Doctor now before to travel back to my job. I am trying to get settle this by using the Psyllium Husk (Isabgol) and eating some oranges, but I was unable to sleep for the night time

Love the juices! Freshly squeezed sugar cane juice is also one of the best beverages! The food there though is a whole other story! Food is not to sweet or salty its perfect! The service their is amazing! And as you walk into Ramadan Catering you get taken into another region and get to experience a whole other country style foods! Keep up the good work!

Response to the reply of owner is here as under, "I don't know that how the owner in his reply considering that one teaspoon (literally 5 grams) or lesser amount of Halwa enough for two persons. It is simple Canadian rule that customer has a right to know that how much weight or amount he is getting. I think weight should be written for every food of take out. Same is for other parts where I have mentioned earlier that smaller cups are filled lesser than half, and we are experiencing this since a while. While other restaurants of same kind in the city, where they offers the service to sit and eat and not only the take out, charging the same but they offer Buffet breakfast and also serve the tea/coffee. Regarding packing of small paper box about which owner said that it is expensive, I think it is giving lot of protection to the owner as they don’t pack in front of the customers and they pack in the back and customer cannot see that what the quantity is inside. But some Shawarma shops, Burger shops and other stores do the packing in front of the customers and they don’t hide anything." Original Review, Amount, Weight and prices. They have smaller cup for the food container and filling up less than half. They don't have weight/amount mentioned for the food. Especially for the breakfast the size of the puri is less than half and also other parts of the breakfast are less than half as they are filling the container of the breakfast less than half too. They put halwa JUST AS LIKE A DROP, like smaller/less than a teaspoon in amount. Now there prices are more than double as compared to the past. This place is fabulous. Clean, good food, late night hours and best of all very courteous and friendly. It has become my usual quick lunch place to be. Delicious and fulfilling wraps. I want to add to the review I wrote 3 years ago. It has to be said these guys deserve a 7 Star rating. We just catered from them for 75 plus families. Best place for pakistani cuisine there taste reminds me the back home pure lahori taste. Ask them about Beef dum biryani well I am a beef lover that’s why otherwise they have chicken and goat biryani too. There chicken kharhi is way better then others. Highly recommended. This place is a high traffic take away restaurant. They have four display coolers with plenty of dishes from curries to BBQs. Beef kababs are juicy and less spicy which is better than others who prefer to throw you away with presentation only and don't bother about taste. These guys want to make it more juicy and serve a balanced taste which is still recommended to say at the least. Chicken biryani could use improvement but not very weak. The chef on spot still makes it spicy as per your favorite. I also tried chicken karahi which more masala than the actual cooking, it could be better. Juice bar is a plus at this location, it's only 5$ a drink which complements with all the stuff one buys. One rice dish, one BBQ dish, one curry dish, three naans and juice drink comes to 35$ & is enough for three people. Highly recommended.

I have never eaten something so so spicy in my life before. The only thing I got was biryani and it’s insanely spicy. We had to make plain rice and added 1:1 rice:biryani and still spicy. my stomach has never felt this way before. It was definitely heavier on salt as well. I’m just hoping this maybe was a bad batch but I’m not entering this place again. Maybe they do have their clientele who enjoys the spice level, but definitely not for everybody. Ps. I am Indian and can tolerate good amount of spices.

1- Food is neither remarkable nor really authentic, some dishes are good, some ok and some below average, but overall they are not bad. It is particularly ideal for a traveller in a rush to swing by and pick some food for the trip and also because of the very cheap prices. The dishes are sitting in plain sight of the customer to conveniently grab the ready to go prepared hot food. 2- Naans are very good at $1.25. 3- Customer care and service is above average. 4- Nihari was better that Khan Caterer. Chicken Tikka was dry. Overall acceptable though. 5- Three caterers are operating from the same strip mall, therefore they are bound to maintain quality and good service to remain afloat.

This gentleman who owns the restaurant is an amazing guy with a good restaurant business sense. I am not gonna say this restaurant is best but this is very good restaurant if you are into some incredibly high dose of masala curries. They taste amazing and I have tried qorma and nehari. They were not the amazing ones but they did have a great taste. Nehari was lacking a profile and sounded more of a regular beef stew, I think nehari can be better. Qourma was of very good quality. It was made with mix mutton which is very good for qourma. I think this place has a great potential. I don't leave reviews but this one I did leave because think service was so friendly and this should be appreciated here.

I ordered from them on Thursday April 29th in the evening. My order consisted of excessively salty Beef Biryani and chicken biryani, the tandoori chicken was extremely dry and we could tell it was old and about to expire. We ordered keema and got something that would barely qualify as keema. If i were to sell this on the streets in India i would get beaten up because I would be accused of robbing people of their money. The food has gone straight to the garbage and the 73$ went down the drain. I callee 3 times during their working hours and no one picked up. Extremely disappointed and would have given negative stars if this app had such a feature. Thank you for ruining my iftar dinner. I MA EDITING THIS REVIEW... THIS IS NOT A GOOD WAY TO RUN A BUISNESS.... IF YOU HAVE MADE MISTAKE THEN YOU SHOULD ACCEPT IT. To judge whether my review is based on the truth. I will bring the remaining keema and chicken biryani and you can check whether i am telling the truth or not. I will drive to your restaurant with your food and let you taste test it but i will shoot a video and upload our phone conversation to the business bureau. You did take the call the next morning but no one answered my call when i tried last night as soon as i tried the food. I called well within your working hours. I find it hard to understand that you can't see the time at which the review was placed to check if maybe the call happened after the review was posted. This isn't about cuisines from different countries having varying tastes. Its about excessively salty and stale food. There is no such thing as pakistani salt or indian salt. If you make a mistake in your order then you better have the guts to accept it and apologize for it. We dont have the time in our day to day lives to try and frame a no-name restaurant brand like yours.

Amazing place just tried there fried fish coated with the bread crumbs it was simply delicious, they took around 8 to 10 mins but belive me it’s worth it to wait for fresh fish then I tried the dum chicken biryani one of the best biryani in Canada I could say that. Perfect place to grab tasty, yummy curry guilty meal. The naans are really soft and everything looked very good. I wish the shaami kababs had more meat. I bought beef stew which was very good in taste. To top it off, they also sell fresh juice there. Perfect end to a guilt meal. Customer service is good and everyone is friendly. Owner is super friendly and told me of I didn't like the food, he will replace it with another dish. It's hard to hear this these days. Fancy Meal for two with fresh costs around 20$. Can't go wrong with this one. Taste 8/10 Price 9/10

The shaami kebabs are delicious, I often order 12 at a time. The Jalebi was fresh and actually warm. The chicken biryani was mostly wings though, so that was a bit disappointing because we got 4 boxes and it was all wings. But, I must the biryani was still delicious. The prices are a bit high for the portions.

I went to this place to get the food highly recommended place because of there Dum biryani, Chicken Karahi, Haleem and Nihari. Costumer service is 10/10 the owner it self was there the way he greet me was excellent while I was waiting for the food he offered me free Jalebi which was really crispy. Cheating at juice station. The guy at juice station is mixing water with the Juice. We ordered fresh sugar cane juice, paid $8 for the medium glass, I was checking on him as my friends told me about it in the past. With 1/2 a foot cane which he then sliced it from Center, came out 12 oz of sugar cane??? When I had a sip there was no taste, upon checking l, I saw a plastic clear jug underneath his machine with pre-filled (around 3 oz) of water in it which he must be using to top up with fresh pressed juice.. ???? cheating

Biryani rice are good and not too spicy. Curries are okay too. I tried Chicken Karahi made with tomatoe puree. Naan breads are soft and fresh. The only thing is that food is bit extra oily than others. I would recommend that it be less oily as that could help save the taste. There are plenty of BBQ dishes as well.Owner is friendly and attentive which is a huge plus for me. Edit: I just figured there is extra layer of oil in there to keep the food fresh and in the togo display showcase. Owners reply was fast to the concern. Highly Recommended.
