From the moment I met Shadow to inquire about food for my friends bridal shower I was impressed with her professionalism, attention to detail, service and her wonderful personality. Her food was even better than I could have imagined. Delivery was on time, setup quickly with directions for the hot food clearly laid out. Totally fool proof. When it was time for us to get married, I knew that Shadow would be the one to make the cake of my dreams. Once again she was so professional, caring and made the whole process a breeze. Plus we added in her amazing sugar cookies which were wedding themed. The day of the wedding she swooped in unnoticed, and setup the cake before I could even blink. And it was the cake of my dreams. A three tier cake, each layer a different flavor, covered with her homemade fondant. And to top it off the back of the cake had what looked like curtains opening to reveal a Detroit Red Wings and Edmonton Oilers logo, made by hand with fondant. It was the most delicious cake I have ever tasted and we received so many compliments on it. If you are looking for a caterer who is not only an amazing chef and baker but someone who is an absolute dream to work with you need to work with Shadow. I am so happy we did.

We were looking forward to having Shadow cater our wedding. We had gone over menu choices and she had send a contract for us to sign. I tried to contact her countless times (calls, messages, emails) and never heard back. We were 3 weeks out from our wedding and it was extremely stressful. When I finally managed to get ahold of her she said our date had been booked by another couple. Very disappointing and annoying. Make sure your date is truly available!

Attended a cake decorating class here and it was great ! The cake was dense but still delicious, vegan was accomodated and the instruction was fun and understandable. The price was great too! Would recommend the classes for sure.

Unbelievable food! You can tell Shadow really puts her heart and soul into what she does, each dish at our wedding was tastier than the last. I would 100% recommend Prairie Stone Catering to everyone looking to cater any type of event. She even came to my home and cooked the food in front of us for our tasting! She uses local ingredients and her flavors are on point! The only reason for the 4/5 stars is because we had paid her to cut our wedding cake, which didn't happen, and they didn't have staff serving each dish like they had promised. With the rising COVID numbers my mom called to ask what could be done for the buffet, and Shadow had said they would have staff with masks on serving each dish, so my guests wouldn't each touch the handles. I would still highly recommend Shadow as her food is absolutely amazing, which is the main point for a catering company. As far as the cake cutting goes, I put more of the blame on my horrible wedding planner for not communicating to Shadow when the cake should have been cut. Her personality is fun to work with as well!

I reached out to Shadow to make a cake for my son's first birthday. I gave her very few details, only that I wanted a firefighter themed cake. I pulled up and was BLOWN AWAY by the incredible cake she came up with. Her creativity is inspiring and the details were incredible. It looked so good I didn't want to cut into it. Thank goodness we did though because the cake was absolutely delicious. Thank you for helping us celebrate our little guy in the best way possible!!!!!

Prairie Stone is a great spot to pick up a quick lunch or treat throughout the week. They also offer delicious custom cakes! Shadow and her staff are always so friendly and the service is always amazing.

I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday, I sent photos and recieved confirmation from Shadow, I paid the invoice in full and 2 weeks later showed up to pick up the cake at the time she scheduled and there was no cake. She forgot about it. I requested a refund and left. She returned my money within the hour but I was left scrabbling for a cake for my daughters party

I have heard lots of great things about this place however I Ordered doughnuts went to pick them up during the specified time and the doors were locked and nobody would answer the phone.
