We liked this restaurants from multiple perspectives! #Food and Servings: We tried different items from their menu! Like; steak, burger, ribs, Chinese combo, soup, biriyani, paya! First thing fits I really appreciate their well thought out selections with diverse offering. And we really liked their chef’s capacity to make each and every item to taste authentic and delicious.I #Ambience: Clean, bright and aesthetically well designed. We drove from Edmonton to Calgary specifically for this restaurant, and we can proudly claim we are immensely pleased with the food/service. The quantity was also quite large. Our favorite foods were steak alongside fried rice. Overall, this was a great experience and we will definitely come again.

Great atmosphere. Clean and very welcoming, we have been going there since the day 1 , but today we have tried the breakfast menu. Halwa puri is delicious. Nicely served and taste good. My wife choose eggs and beef sausages, we enjoyed everything and had a great time. Owner and staff were very friendly and very concern about their guests. Prices are resonable. Highly recommend everyone to try their breakfast . For sure we will be there again. . 5 stars to Mezban.

We bought Lamb Biriyani from Mezban on Saturday March 27th 2021. We brought it home and was surprised with authentic aroma and taste. Moreover, it was clubbed with the perfectly matched Raita. Quality and quantity of meat was real good and perfectly cooked and spiced. I will definitely try to visit with my friends soon to show the legacy of Bengali delicacies.

I’m giving Mezban Restaurant a 5-Star rating because of their healthy choices and delicious tastes. I have tried Tom Yum Soup, Spring Rolls, Chilli Chicken and Mixed Fried Rice. The food tasted awesome! I would very much like to try other items too from their menu. The chef has put innovative ideas into cooking healthy, yet delicious meals. I know, at Mezban Restaurant, no tasting salt, artificial flavours or additives used in cooking. All meals are cooked from fresh and you know, for sure, you are enjoying good food. Very clean environment and friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant for dine-in, takeaway or catering. Come enjoy the fusion of delicious yummy mouth-watering food!

Excellent food and service! Loved that it was Halal and wanted to try their signature steak. Our whole family went so we tried a variety of dishes. Tom Yum soup was really tasty. Chicken wings were moist inside and crunchy on the outside- yum! Ginger Beef and Rib Eye steak were awesome. Great experience and staff and owners were so friendly and very accommodating- especially since one of our family members has a severe nut allergy. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a new restaurant in the city, everything Halal, the restaurant is very clean, open and friendly staff. Price reasonable compare to any other similar restaurant in the city. I tried this place and burgers were awesome. The cheese, mushroom & the onion slice along with the Temperature & taste of the patty’s were perfect. I enjoyed every single inch of the burger. Their stake also looking very delicious. Highly recommended.

Me and family went to mezban restaurant during our recent trip to Alberta excepting Chittagong style mezban (they don't serve it, we didn't check their menu before we go), but ended with paya & nan, masala tea. Even though we're not paya lover, we tried 1 order, then ordered again. Simply their cooking is exceptional. Must try.

Live, Laugh, Love, EAT. Repeat. Mezban Restaurant – An Honest Review. I absolutely love their steak. The steak… ahhh… I asked the chef, Shakinoor how come the steak was SO good! He advised that- 1. They only serve ranch specific Alberta Beef. That means we don’t serve beef from anywhere else on the planet. No wonder! Happy cattle make for better steaks!! 2. They serve Halal steak! I believe it is the only restaurant in Calgary that serves Halal steaks. 3. Mezban serves, Grass-fed, Grain-fed, Wet-aged and Dry-aged beef 365 days a year. 4. The chef uses char broiler to cook and finishes in the high heat oven. The high heat creates a flavourful crust on outside of the steak and leaves a juicy centre. Mezban is a small restaurant that can traditionally seat 35 people in the North East part of the city. With COVID 19 restrictions, they will be seating 12 people at a time. Steaklovers – who cannot usually dine in steakhouses in Calgary due to religious reasons, this is an amazing opportunity for you! Finding a good steakhouse which is also Halal is not easy! Also where can you find steak within $20? Al in all, it is a winning situation! Order your steak now!

Very underrated. We got their food quite a few times and almost every time they really satisfied us with their good service and great food. We tried their sirloin steak that comes with a side of mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and mushroom/black pepper sauce for only $18. It was absolutely amazing for the price. The 8 oz sirloin steak was well seasoned, perfectly medium rare, very filling, tender and delicious. We also tried some of their appetisers, the thai wings and chicken lollipop. Both were good but the wings were to die for. We also tried their paya which was excellent, not too spicy. Looking forward to trying out a lot more of their food.

The wait time food was terribly long. We ordered the nihari, and it took almost 1.5hrs for our order to get to us. On top of that, the server was rude and very unhelpful. On the brightside, the food was absolutely brilliant! Very tasty and adequately served. I only gave 3 stars jusg because of the food. They need to improve their services drastically!

This place is a good go to option for halal steaks. Ordered medium well ribeye steak with fries and creamy mushroom sauce for myself. On the table we had beef cheese burger, beef rock and roll, chicken tenders for main course and cheesecake for dessert. We also ordered beef biryani to go. Steak is highly recommended. Beef biryani is more North Indian taste than Pakistani taste, but with less chilli and salt (which is preferred) good for a try. Cheesecake was slightly warm and melting in the mouth.

The chef/owner came to our table and recommended a perfect meal for our family, he has over 20 years of culinary experience with 5 Star hotels and it shows in the works. Great value for the price on top of the convenient location and a place for Halal Steak Lovers! Previously tried the beef burger which was surprisingly tasty and easily comparable to any fine dining restaurants. Dine-in experience was good and would get better with a bit more separation between tables, still, it's my new go to place for Steaks, Fried Rice, Burgers, Calamari!

This restaurant was a surprise especially their burgers. The tofu burger tasted excellent and fries were very crispy. Tried the fish and chips. We got two pieces of haddock with some coleslaw. The batter was light, and it was not greasy. The beef back ribs were boneless and came with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. Tried a variety of foods and were not disappointed. Overall an excellent experience. I would recommend this small place in the NE.

I ordered their Sirloin Steak and wanted a medium rare finish. It was overcooked and well-done in the middle. The veg is fine but the mashed potatoe is a letdown as well. If you know your steak then Mezban is a no. However, their ambience is soothing and a nice place to dine-in.

I have tried their beef back rib, it's delicious. I haven't found any halal place serving ribs in Calgary. Also tried their burger, fried rice, chilli chicken and ginger beef. Being a fan of burgers, I can say that they make excellent beef burgers comparable to any mid level restaurants like Earls, Joey etc. Liked their chilli chicken and fried rice as well. And last but not the least, standard of their service, hygiene and interior will make you very comfortable.

As a visitor from Toronto ON, a place where there is so much competition for food restaurants, this place would EXCEL. Amazing food quality and serving sizes! We ordered their steaks and they were full of flavour. Though we ordered Medium-Well and they gave the steaks Medium Rare, we sent them back and they got it spot on this time! Before all of this, manager gave EVERYONE free side of fries which was very nice of him Do not underestimate this place for its exterior looks — I am comfortable to say this place has one of the best steaks (and other foods) in all of Alberta!

We were passing through Calgary on our way to Banff and lucky found this gem of a restaurant, very friendly staff, we ordered their spicy fried chicken burger it was really good, we also tried fatty patty and cheese burger all were amazing, they also offer masala tea which is really good, over all a great experience and a must go to restaurant in Calgary.

Everything was nice besides the burger. The pattie was a bit uncooked but the biggest problem was that there was a knife put in a burger instead of burger wooden sticks which made it hard for us to eat.

Today I order food online, delivery came exactly with promised time 40 minutes. Got a free delivery plus 10% discount. Food was delicious. Fish and chips, chicken and corn soup, ginger beef and shrimp fried rice. All are so yummy that we finish everything in one seat. :) I highly recommend Mezban Restaurant . And of-course 5 Stars !

Hands down one of the best halal restaurant in town. Their burgers are comparable to any top rated special burger place. My kids loved it. I tried their paya which was perfect. I will definitely visit it again to test their steak and other items.

Very well managed restaurant with their own mix cuisines. I got small aaa steaks and they were very good. Its not the typical indian take out or curry spot but a good relaxing spot for some little higher end food. Prices are very good for the quality u get. You can have the biryani rice here as if u are craving that. They also got pretty amazing calamari. Medium well done steaks are best here.

Their Beef paya was beyond expectation..it was amaaaaazing. Recommend to anyone who wants to try Bangladeshi style Paya. Great taste and service. ????

one of the best kept secret for quality food with great quantity and pricing. I love how you can order traditional South Asian dishes along with popular Western food like Wings, Burgers and Steaks. Planning to go back again and try other items in their menu. The owner is also friendly and location is very clean. Highly recommend checking out this halal joint in Calgary.
