This venue almost defies description in that it really SHOULD be seen by everyone. As an event venue, it's unique and unforgettable surrounded by beauty and offering up a warm feel of gentler, kinder times. Almost made me want to get married to have the reception there, lol. (Thankfully, they do corporate and other events as well so I didn't have to go to that extreme.) As a catering service... expect the prime rib to melt-in-your-mouth, the ribs to fall off the bone, and the brisket to be far superior to anything you've ever tried. Gus Leduc is a MASTER at the "low and slow" of Southern BBQ!! They do homestyle food and they do it with excellence!!!!! Their mobile food truck is a go-to at any event for trusted delicious fare. Another thing that makes Lynnwood Ranch stand out is the team they have - some of them have worked there for over 25 years and now their kids work there as well. Family owned and supporting families - refreshing and beautiful all the way around.

We had our company Christmas party here and it was really well done. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the drink service. You have to poor your own pop for mixed drinks, they clear the tables too fast and you have a water station at the back rather than having water on your tables. I liked the hay ride and outdoor fireplace. The place is nicely decorated for Christmas, but the best thing about this place is the food. I've had both the food truck and the venue food and they were both fantastic. There was also a ping pong table and Foosball at the back that were really fun, though really hard to see in dim lighting. The drive is easy and road is well marked. It's a nice location.

I have both worked as entertainment and been to event's at the Lynnwood Ranch and honestly, it's a fantastic place to have large functions! Wonderful place for Christmas parties, reunions or weddings. Heck, I've even been to a cook-off here. Huge spaces for outdoor wedding ceremonies or wagon rides and a beautiful indoor hall for the meal and party. Great staff, great food, great venue and will even play movies on a projector! Ten outta ten will Lynnwood again ????

This is a beautiful event venue. It is just south of Calgary and a nice drive. We had a company barbeque there. The facilities are beautiful. The food was awesome. They had horse drawn hay rides and games of horseshoe pitching.

Usually enjoy having christmas parties here, but a fair amount of people got sick after the last function. The amount of liquor poured for $6 is kind of ridiculous. Great food and the service is pretty decent aside from my last experience.
