I eat lunch here almost daily as I work in the downtown core. You would think they would have expensive prices by looking at just the theme and location but it's actually quite reasonable. The food is high-quality for the cost as well. They make all their food fresh. Great hand-made pizza at lunch - soups are amazing too!

Fantastic selection of to go sandwiches and croissants as well as coffees espresso and the like. Tasty. Food made on-site in the back and of course specialty coffees made upfront. Prices surprisingly not downtownish, Ie fair though not cheap.

I don't often write restaurant reviews, but having ordered from Fantasia on Skip, I cannot speak highly enough. I am not choosy, I will eat anything from fast food to gourmet meals, and have had my fair share of both. The food I received from Fantasia far exceeded my expectations. The pizza crust was soft and fluffy while still being crispy, but not greasy or oily. Perfectly cooked without a hint of burnt crust. The toppings and sauce were also flavorful. This pizza is excellent. As for pasta, the Carbonara is also great! Unlike so many places, it is eggy and buttery, as it is supposed to be, with plenty of crispy bacon. A generous portion as well! As a matter of fact, the portion size for the price overall is very reasonable, cheaper than quite a few places I can think of. I grabbed a small dessert as well, the Trio Beignet donuts, and they were delicious also. Overall, this has been a really rewarding dinner experience, and I will be ordering from Fantasia again. I cannot recommend them highly enough. You will not regret grabbing dinner here.

James and his team made a fantastic Christmas dinner for our family. We have never ordered a Christmas meal before but with only 4 of us this year, our family having to work on Christmas Eve, and with the economy struggling, we wanted to support local business (and a bonus for us, we didn't have to cook this Christmas). The meal was very nice, food was great, portions were generous, and the order was accurate (we had some custom requests of a gluten free order, etc). We were very impressed and would order through Fantasia for our family again. Thank you, James and team, for making our Christmas extra special this year.

Expensive for what you get, and not fresh. Ive eaten here a few times and its mostly leaves me wanting more. I recently had the french toast breakfast special. It consisted of 2 pieces of bacon and two pieces of french toast. What surprised me was, it was all cold, I mean almost frozen so there is no way this could have been made fresh.

There's a red rope to lead people buying food past the service area to the till. I've bought food dozens of times the same way. Today the French girl wasn't paying attention so I had to go to the till. She refused to get my food and ordered I pay 1st like I was going to steal from her. She personally has served me food the proper way before. I asked if I could get my food 1st she snapped "Sure could you pay 1st?" Congratulations Fantasia you just lost my business not that you were much good in the 1st place. Cheap plastic wrapped sandwiches and potato salad whoppee. French girl, sort of new. Thanks for making it easy to walk away.

Coffee: 4/5, the girl knew what she was doing. Service: 3/5, neither overly friendly nor unpleasant. Atmosphere: 1*/5, this would be 4/5 if the UofA hadn't cut power to all the outlets around the seating area. ...overall, talk about UofA turning a strength (lots of seating, limited food stall competition, available laptop power) into a weakness! If all I want us in/out quick, I can walk over another block and have many many more choices.

Food is really good here and about the same price as other places downtown to get a sandwich or salad. Their daily special does cost over $11.00 but is more than enough food for lunch and add a drink to that is can be an expensive lunch. Their selections are good and there is seating. I waited way over five minutes at noon while the cashier was on the phone as my sandwich got cold, not impressed, noon especially when the downtown core eats and prime time at most food places. Worth trying out though! ????☕️????????

I had the most amazing panini ever at this place! The best focaccia EVER. It is from heaven! If you are downtown and into a nice sandwich, this is THE PLACE TO GO. A few weeks ago I had their pizza too. Unfortunately it was not good: the dough had a bitter after taste; I first thought the weird taste was coming from the feta cheese, but then I realized it was the dough. I believe the flour in that batch was old or open on the shelf for a long time. The soup of the day (turkey rice) was good too. Despite the pizza, is a good place.

Wow!! We just ordered this for dinner and are extremely impressed with the high quality food, great portion sizes, and amazing taste. The entrées were huge and super affordable, the pizza was super cheesy, the crust was light and cooked to perfection, and the dessert was pure bliss. Definitely recommend trying if you haven't already
