I've never used the catering, but I'm a big fan of their take away meals that you can prep at home. Both my wife and I work full time, so whenever we know we're going to have a particularly busy week, we always run by and stock up. Meals are quick and easy to prepare and always delicious. We've tried other online meal services like Chef's Plate, and they were ok, but there was clearly some cost cutting going on in terms of quality - especially where the meat was concerned. Cena's meals are always top flight - ingredients are fresh, properly portioned, and simple. Be prepared to provide your own veggies, but everything else is included. Love this place and will continue to return to help us out on those busy weeks!

I attended a wedding that Cena catered. The food flavor was not the best and all of the salads were over dressed. The reason for the one star rating though is the fact that we were served raw hamburgers. The outsides appeared cooked and I wasn't paying much attention to the food at this point (because I was enjoying the company). By the time I realized that the burger was raw, I had already eaten most of it. Not only that, but the people cooking the burgers came around (after everyone was done eating I might add) to offer to throw peoples burgers back on the grill. They also tried to excuse the rawness by saying that it is hard to cook for such large groups of people (it was a small wedding of only about 30-40 people). As a result of the raw hamburger, I now have food poisoning. I will personally never order catering from Cena and will encourage other people to find another company to cater their events.

It’s hard to put into words how amazing our experience was with Kim and the rest of the Cena team. Being family-friends with Kim made the decision to work with her for our wedding very easy, but that never came in the way of the service, quality or professionalism we received. From the very first (virtual) encounter, to the day of, we received fluent and quick communication regarding menu options, prices, and day of details. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious and fresh our food was. Even our photographers brought up how great the meal was compared to other weddings they did that year! Kim and her team worked hard to ensure that the menu matched our “rustic country” theme, with items like Tailgate BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, and Smoky Baked Beans. Not to mention they built wooden buffet boxes to fit our aesthetic. It truly looked, and tasted amazing. We are so grateful we got to work with Cena for our wedding, it wouldn’t have been the same day if we had picked another vendor. Amazing staff + amazing food= Best wedding ever! Thank you Cena!

GREAT Food, great customer service. Recipes are great and the cooking instructions are easy to follow. They even make serving suggestions! Absolutely recommend them for busy families who want real meals but don't have time to prep. Their monthly menus vary and we have yet to try something we didn't like. Worth every penny! I heard about this company through my dad, who used them to cater corporate events, and he only had good things to say. As an employee of a local business in Sherwood Park, I was looking for a company who would be able to catering corporate meetings and functions. We regularly use Cena to do this. The food is always delicious and the service is always fantastic. They make great recommendations and are always very accommodating. As an added bonus, they have meals to go which I have used personally and they are quick, easy and so tasty! If anyone is looking for a catering company in the area, I would highly recommend Cena!

We used Cena Catering for two team meals for our hockey team. Great food suggestions and the meals were fantastic. The boys enjoyed them and had enough for leftovers. I frequently host small (6-20 people) groups for multi day meetings that require lunch. Cena does a terrific job catering lunches for these corporate events. Whenever I call it is easy to place my order, they are always friendly and accommodating to any number of dietary restrictions that an attendee may have. Food quality has been terrific. I have used them for almost three years now and have had probably over 400 people eat their food with rave reviews (they make me look good). Billing is easy with itemized receipts and they come back to pick up the used serving-ware. Overall Cena provides delicious food, great friendly happy service, and easy billing. I couldn't ask for anything more. Try the Ukrainian Lunch! its my favourite!

My husband and I booked them for our July 2019 Wedding and it was the BEST decision we ever made. From the start, Kim suggested a tasting for a cost (this is taken off your final bill when you book them). The vibe at the bistro during the tasting was completely romantic and filled with great options. The food was DELICIOUS, by far the best meal we have ever had. Kim was extremely patient - kept in communication with us, sending us all of the estimates we asked for. The Wedding Day- The ladies were very professional, the food was equally as amazing as our food tasting. Our guests could not stop giving us compliments at our wedding! We ended up getting 3 meats (Sliced Roast Beef, Grilled chicken with mango salsa, and earl grey salmon) accompanied with 2 options of salads, 3 options of veggies, and two options of sides! It was the best meal we have ever had, exactly the experience we were looking for our wedding. The ladies from Cena helped to serve dessert and helped rinse out dishes when we had completely forgot to arrange something for the situation. Cena really made our wedding so much more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend them and definitely hire them for our future events!

We attended a function, excepting a hot delicious meal along with the fabulous show. We were very disappointed with the extremely poor food quality. Would not recommend this catering company to anyone. Expected higher standards from a Sherwood Park based company. Hired Kim and team to cater birthday lunch for husband and coworkers. The men thought the meal was spectacular. Chicken parmesan and penne, ceasar salad and garlic toast. Comments like best parmesan chicken ever, so juicy. Will continue to support this local establishment with down home cooking.

The meals to go that you cook at home are a life-saver! Very tasty, easy to cook, MORE THAN enough meat for my family of 4 which includes two young men (18 and 20 years old.). No meal subscription service ever has enough protein. Added bonus - I can get the boys to cook the meals!

I don't feel like a number when I contact them, I like the personal touch they provide when dealing with their customers. We have ordered almost everything off of the Hot Lunch Menu and have not ever been disappointed. The food is homemade and delicious.
