AMAZING little coffee place!! My husband and I will quite often go out of our way to come here, and we live near West Edmonton Mall! I love my Chai and they have the best I've ever tasted! Not too much cinnamon, and all the flavours blend well together instead of being overpowering like most places make it. My husband loves the pour over coffee and their London Fog also! The pour over takes a bit of time, but very well worth it as it's strong coffee but still very smooth. I only have one experience (so far) with their baked goods but it was yummy! I had the chocolate pistachio danish and albeit it was a little dry, it was also the end of the day. They make their baked goods fresh daily, unlike other places that reuse them the next day. The atmosphere is super cozy, relaxed, and I love the old historical building it's situated in! You also cannot beat the price. A large chai is around $5 or just under, the pour over and drip coffee around $3, which is a steal for the quality! As I'm typing this I have plans to meet a friend there later today in fact. I can't rave about this place enough and I've introduced a lot of people to this classy place. I really hope they do well and have huge successes! :)

I didn't try many coffee shops out of downtown and oliver area, most of time just starbucks and tims, but in this area, this place is my favorite! I can feel their love and passion on coffee, not the kind of passion on a job, they really love coffee and want to make a decent coffee! I Will try everything on their menu eventually! Great little cafe. A bit off the path from mainstream downtown. Check it out if you want to try somewhere new. Good coffee and standard baked goods with some interesting Lebanese sweets. They also serve sandwiches and soup that are better than expected. Cozy seating and I hear they also have live music on the weekends.

Cute little coffee shop located at the bottom of the historical building! It has so much character. We went there the other day to check it out because of the light display. My husband had a saffron pudding and I opted for some caffeine - let's just say we are going to be coming back! I had a few niblets of the saffron rice pudding, it was sweet and savoury! So delish! Cafe Lavi is in my opinion the best Cafe in Edmonton. The inside has a very bright modern design, well still maintaining a warm atmosphere. The owner and employees are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. They make an strong effort to connect with each customer on a personal level. The cherry on top of all this is that their coffee is simply the best in Edmonton, no other cafe comes close to Cafe lavi's incredible quality. Im not sure if it's the beans or the artists behind the counter. But the bottom line is Cafe Lavi is unrivaled in being the best there is within Edmonton
