I tried the new food truck, Curbside, today. I had the Curbside Chicken (without the boar jam), with a side of Mac’n’Cheese, and the Cranberry Drink. The chicken sandwich was really good and the drink refreshing: unsweetened, the way it should be. The only thing I did not like was when I dug into the Mac’n’Cheese and found what looked like pork, so did not even try it. I just do not care for pork so wish I had known ahead of time. But all around good food and great service. It is nice to see some newer trucks and choices for our all too brief of a season.

Well, yesterday I had the privlidge of having a meal prepared by A Cappella catering as part of a sales meeting. Wow I cannot think of a better word to describe the food. The Ceasar Salad dressing was homemade, right from scratch. I know I make it, the meal was the Rouladen. Again Wow. So delicious, very filling the grilled vegetables sealed the meal. Fantastic I would highly reccommend this company to cater ANY event.

We had A Cappalla's food truck, Curbside, serve at our wedding! We didn’t have a sit down dinner. We wanted to offer an awesome and fun food experience! The food was great and the customer service was even better!! These guys were so great! The truck looked amazing. Their were sandwich options with two sides. They were happy to accommodate vegan and gf guest! All of our guests raved about the food and how different of an experience this was! They even offered to leave all of the prepared leftovers that we had paid for but hadn’t been consumed. We were so happy with this choice!

I cant speak to the cost as it brought in by my company for the staff. I can say without a doubt the food is 5 Stat worthy, however, the portion sizes drops it down to 4.

We did not end up choosing A Cappella to cater our wedding despite being recommended by our venue. I think if you are someone without food allergies, they are probably a good choice. But for someone with many, they were not very reassuring. We found a different company who is working extensively with us to ensure I am safe on my wedding day. We also found the constant emails asking if we were ready to book, despite myself saying we would reach out when we were ready, quite overwhelming.

I love A Cappella Catering! I was first introduced to this company through work between 2017 - 2019 and had delicious catering meals for the 2 years I worked there. Earlier this year (around September) a colleague through my current job forwarded me an email from A Cappella as they were offering Thanksgiving Take & Bake meals and i immediately placed an order for my family. We absolutely loved this meal. I was thrilled to see that they are doing the same this Christmas and placed my order for my family. I look forward to my holiday meal and a long term partnership!

I had my wedding recently catered by Acapella , when we did our initial taste tests the food was amazing I was especially in love with the whipped potatoes and raved to friends and family for months about them. Unfortunately, what was delivered to my wedding was not the same quality as previously tasted they were cold hard and lumpy potatoes. I did let Acapella know and they did issue a refund which I can appreciate. The reason for the 3 star actually has to do with the staff responsible for picking up at the end of the night, as anyone who has had a wedding will know it is a very busy time and we were given a pickup window of 8-10PM but they arrived right at 8PM and were very rude to the family and friends I had helping get the food out of the chafing dishes because they had to wait. They also wanted us to wash the chafing dishes for them which turns out was not a requirement of us at all. It definitely put a damper on my feelings for this business and based strictly on the treatment we received at the end of the night I will not be using them in the future. Overall the food was great but the customer service was questionable to say the least.

After researching a number of options in the city, I ordered the A Cappella Catering Take 'n Bake dinner for our family's Thanksgiving this year (October 2020). It was amazing! I can't say enough good things about this experience. We had hardly any clean-up, a delicious dinner was ready in thirty minutes, and we all got to spend the day together instead of cooking and cleaning. A Cappella was wonderful. They had friendly, responsive service, delivered exactly when they said they would, and the prices were unbeatable. I also love that they are a local family-owned business in Edmonton. We will be using A Cappella for many more events to come - even if it is Christmas Dinner for Two. Thank you A Cappella!

We book a catered Christmas luncheon with A Capella Catering every year now for the past 5 or 6 years. Found them online by luck the first year and will always go back!!! The only negative thing about the menu is you have to choose one or two entrees and all options are amazing!!! We have never had a bad experience with them. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The delivery and set up is always on time and professional. The display is great and the food is even better. If you book with them, bring take home containers because the portions per person are big and who doesn't want delicious leftovers!!

Would not recommend for groups with any food restrictions. I booked appetizers for a group with allergies/restrictions and listed them in the quote request I completed on their website. Everything seemed to run smoothly in advance as they were responsive. Come the day of the event, however, none of the food was labeled. This resulted in anyone with a nut or meat restriction limiting a lot more than they likely needed to. I received an email asking for feedback the next morning and stated that we were happy except for the lack of labeling. I received a response that I had not requested this. My bad - I went back through the website/quote request form and the correspondence I'd received, though, and found no mention of this. I replied to say as such and received a similar response that they could label upon our request in the future. I won't be returning to their lack of interest in sharing responsibility for the safety of my guests.

Had them at a work event and it was a "dogs breakfast" of food. Sloppy sushi, and unconstructed salmon and lox... Lots of variety, but not enough for everyone to try one of each. Not cheaper in price from other options, but definitely lower quality. Wouldn't recommend.

A Cappella Catering has become one of my 'go to' caterers for several reasons. Their customer service is outstanding, their food tastes like it was made in your own kitchen, and the portions are terrific. There is a wide variety of menu options, including dietary sensitivities, and they always work very hard to accommodate and help me figure out options no matter how big or small the party is. Just recently I asked them to prepare a meal for 300 people with less than 24 hours notice and they came through like superstars!! I am so happy with this company and will continue to use them for company events.

Have had their food in the past so certainly went in with higher expectations and they did NOT disappoint. We had a thanksgiving style dinner since it was on the Oct 6 weekend. The food for our wedding (hors d'oeuvres, dinner and dessert) was fantastic and we received countless compliments from our guests. There was also LOTS of extra so make sure to have many food storage containers and an empty freezer to place it. Their staff also ran the bar and did wine service during the dinner/speeches. The service was great on both accounts and I would recommend the extra $ for wine service to anyone as our guests loved it. They had no issue putting out some extra outside sourced desserts and midnight lunch which was very nice! Given our remote location outside Edmonton, they had to bring all the food/supplies in with them and this went off without a hitch. They also did a great job cleaning up so that we had little to do the next day. Overall, GREAT experience and would recommend them to anyone/everyone!

I have also talked with Joanna to make payment and she has been wonderful always. The food is amazing. Lots of it too and tastes wonderful! I would highly recommend this catering service whether it be for a party or the amazing take and bake option for a family meal.

I have used A Cappella Catering twice now for client lunches that had 40-50 attendees. We ordered the Mexican Fiesta and I can say I have never heard my clients rave so much about a catered lunch. The food was phenomenal and service was excellent. They did a really good job setting it up and taking it down, but more importantly the food was amazing. We had a couple of vegans and they really enjoyed their food as well which can sometimes be hard to accommodate. I will be definitely doing more of these catered lunches for clients and highly recommend the fiesta for lunch or dinner.

We had A Cappella cater our wedding this past weekend and enjoyed just about every aspect. The food was delicious, there was tons of variety (we made an A La Carte hors d'oeuvres menu), and the serving staff were so helpful and professional. Our only drawback was the amount of food we had left over. Being our first time planning an event this big (approx. 90 guests), it would have been helpful if the person booking our business had suggested ordering less. We had multiple platters of food that we had to dispose of because everyone had already taken the leftovers that they could and we had no way to finish what remained. So much of the beautiful food went to waste, and we could have saved upwards of $500. We will recommend A Cappella to anyone who asks, but will warn people to plan out their quantities better than we did.

The food is always good, but the service has basically dissolved to non-existent in the last year, constantly late, useless and lazy drivers. They used to have a lot of middle aged folks doing deliveries and recently they hired a bunch of kids who obviously don't care. Looks like we are going to have to find a new caterer :(

A Capella delivered on time with more than enough food for the 200 person event held recently. However, the service, was not particularly good in any respect...unless we paid them more...$1300.00 extra for clean up, plus they either take or throw out the left overs. It wasn't catering per se, it was more like a food delivery truck service... At least they provided the plates and cutlerly, etc. But They didn't serve the food, nor did they help out the small group of over worked volunteers who were helping oversee the event. At $42 a plate, with no desert, no cleanup, no real service for 200 people.... no thanks. $8,400.00 for just food...that wasnt even top notch, with some of the food options being overcooked, while some clearly cut corners with some of the dishes offered. But overall, it wasn't too bad in comparison to other catering services. 3/5 I would say - It's just more expensive for a service and quality that is on par with other cheaper catering services.

I've ordered from A Cappella on two occasions: the first order consisted of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres for a 40-person client event which included an on-site server and bartender, and they did a fantastic job. The food was beautifully presented, plentiful, and delicious, and the staff was courteous and very professional. Everything for the next order (breakfast and lunch catering for a couple of meetings) was equally impressive. Though the pricing was comparable to our regular caterer, the selections consisted of more "gourmet" items (better sandwich fillings, breads, and sides), and the per person servings were significantly larger. My coworkers were very impressed with the spread, and again everything was delicious. Also, the delivery drivers were friendly and helpful. Additionally, A Cappella's office staff (the group that handles the orders and planning) are truly exceptional. Everyone I've spoken to there has been very friendly and accommodating, and their attention to detail is outstanding. They make an effort to ensure that they fully understand your needs and requests before proceeding, so you can feel confident that everything will be taken care of. I order catering fairly frequently for company functions, and I'm really looking forward to using A Cappella again (and I'm considering switching "regular" caterers).

We recently hired A Cappella Catering to cater our wedding. They did the cocktail hour, the dinner and provided a midnight food truck. The cost was super reasonable and the food was fantastic. We had so much left over that we could have fed half the guests again haha! The midnight food truck was such a hit, people are still talking about it! Their staff was also very professional and did a great job making sure everything went smoothly. We did have a couple guests with severe food allergies. A Cappella went above any beyond to make sure there was no cross contamination and that the food for those guests was equally as tasty and plentiful! 10/10 would recommend!

Everything tastes great, was presented well, and all my guests loved it I got tons of compliments They came on time, they had very friendly and efficient service, sent email reminders, and followed up after my event to ensure everything went well. I found their pricing to be comparable to other caterers and would totally use them again!

Unfortunately, I can't comment on their food. However, I can comment on their service. After several interactions, I was told via e-mail that our requested date for the food truck was available. I requested the quote and advised that we were ready to book and make a payment. I sent follow-up e-mails to confirm that we were ready to book- just waiting on them. After leaving a voicemail, I finally received the quote and instructions for payment....then, within a few minutes of receiving that, A Capella called to tell me that they screwed up and our date wasn't actually available. We confirmed our venue based on the fact that they told us it was available. Overall really disappointed about their general organization and communication skills.

We used them to cater our evening wedding (appitizers only). Food tasted good however there was a huge waste of food at the end of the night. Most of it was not eaten because there was no signs to say what the food was. Food labels would have helped our guests to know what they were eating because the appitizers weren’t easily identifiable the way they were presented. Advertising on the table was inappropriate and unprofessional for a wedding event without consent. After voicing these concerns, no response was given. Up to the event communication was very good. Would recommend for a lunch catered office event but not for a special formal event

I am a vegan and could have made a better platter from my fridge. You would think, with professional chefs, they could have come up with something better than pretty much just breads and dips. The single salad roll was delicious but the rest was just plain sad. Vegan does NOT mean boring, flavorless and little selection! Seeing as this was for a company event, I'm sure we will use them again as everything else looked great and everyone seemed happy. But if we use them again, I will be bringing my own platter with tons of flavor and selection. This is the second year in a row that I got a platter that was less than desirable.

My wife and I hired A Cappella to cater our wedding and they did an incredible job, every step of the way. I highly recommend them for any event! When we were planning our menu they were very helpful. They provided tons of samples...everything was so good that the hardest part was narrowing it down! Prior to our wedding they provided a very detailed itinerary of what they were going to do the day of. Most of it we didn't need to know but knowing how on top of things they were made us confident that they would have everything taken care of (very important after hearing some horror stories of other caterers). They were very responsive to emails and questions and we never had to wait long to get a response. They had vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and were accomodating with some last-minute menu changes (even after we confirmed things). On the day of the wedding they arrived at the reception venue early and their staff were incredibly friendly. I wasn't there at the time (busy getting married and whatnot) but our family and friends that were helping set up had nothing but good things to say. During the reception they went above and beyond, opening wine bottles for the tables and offering to help move tables to open up the dance floor. And most importantly, the food. Simply put, it was fantastic and plentiful. We went with beef rouladen, chicken madeira, a variety of salads and veggie dishes, perogies and mashed potatoes. I lost track of how many people told us it was one of the best meals they've ever had. The vegans/vegetarians/celiacs were super impressed with their meals as well and loved the huge portions. I can't recommend this company enough. Thank you so much A Cappella for helping make our wedding day so fantastic!

We used A Cappella for our wedding and were blown away by the service. Kayla was our event specialist and she was so easy to communicate with and answered all our questions and concerns promptly and in good detail. The food was delicious (we got tons of compliments on it!) and the staff on wedding day were efficient, professional and friendly. We were thrilled that they were also able to accommodate vegetarian and vegan plates for specific guests at no extra cost. We loved the convenience of having all linens and dinnerware included in pricing and all coming from one place. We loved A Capella and would 100% use them again!
