Mothers and grandmothers unite. Do not use this car wash. Can you imagine what it would feel like to get to the front of a long car wash line and have the manager refuse to wash your car because it was “too dirty” and then swear at a 6 month pregnant mother with her 3 year old son. How dare anyone do this. Boycott this car wash. We have great car wash services in Sarnia! What a great opportunity for another car wash to offer to pick up Lindsey’s car and get it washed. KH. Got a car detailing, they did a wonderful job, all the windows were cleaned, the area between the seats had been fully cleaned out like spanking new! the rugs were fully spotless, the car even smelled fresh as soon as we sat in it, there were perhaps one or two areas that needed a simple dusting but thats not anything we cant do ourselves, the guys worked very hard/ the seats were also paid alot of attention to. I was very happy with the results. These guys are under new management and are trying their best, when I talked to the very nice lady at the front counter and I can definitely see the hard work coming through very pleased with the results and would recommend it to others Thanks again

There is no way this car wash got 5 stars from anyone. terrible wash for too much money. They didn't even wipe down the inside of my windshield and did an overall terrible job on the inside. And you'd think for a $26 wash they would wipe down the rims. Nope. I'd rather drive a dirty car then give this place any more of my money.

I found that the price of $26 for what is suppose to be an interior and exterior wash is totally unjustified. My issue was that for the added cost of an interior cleaning - I personally could have done a much better job myself. The door panels and door frames were missed completely. The dirt that I expected to be wiped clean were left in the same condition before I even entered the car wash. Perhaps the management should reconsider the quality of care they provide for their customers. I would not recommend this car wash.

Customer service is poor. I was not at all happy with the service. Never again. I find the cars are to very near to the point I felt a bumb. No damage but you can't get a proper cleaning when they are all bunched up together. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

I just spend $45 dollars to get my small Audi SUV washed. When i questioned the price i was told it was the only service where they vacuumed. Well i can tell you they did not wipe down my center console or whip out the drink holders, nor was by back hatch vacuumed. HUGE RIP OFF , basically an outside wash that wipes down your winter matts...

Favorite place to go! Cost ranges from 20 to 30 dollars for an in and out clean! Employees are quick and always friendly. They even have a year pass for once a day cleaning that adds up to cheaper than Petro-Canada season pass! Very good value!

The WORST $35 car wash I've ever had. About the same quality clean as a self-drive-through at a gas station. Water spots on windshield, dirt on my trunk lid. Wheels dirty. Never again.

Mediocre. They left a streaky mess on inside front windshield that I had to windex myself when I got home. They did the minimum wiping of the water on the exterior and in door sills. Driver floor mat I had to reinstall as they didn't clip it back into place. Required 34 minutes to get through, behind about 6 cars. Not worth the high price.

We did not have a good experience here, which is weird for such a highly acclaimed car wash. It's located in a very "posh" neighbourhood in the city, however the price paid for an interior/exterior just was not worth it especially since we had to rewash. There was still a lot of mud and dirt on and in the vehicle. When a service such as this is being performed, one must do their absolute best!

As with most car washes in town, the experience is always very frustrating. At Avenue Road Car Wash the price might seem fair at the beginning, but then you realized the service matches it. For a good car wash service, I would recommend Doctor Car Wash in North York. Reasonable price, very professional and meticulous wash.

Went here for the first time, just had the outside washed as it was filthy, they did a good job for $23. They were friendly and it was spotless. Will go back to just have outside washed......the other reviews here sort of scare me to have the inside done.

I agree with most of the reviews. This place is unprofessional. The cleaning sucks. The cleaners don't give a damn what you tell them and I don't know what the rag in their hand is there for because when they wipe, nothing gets cleaned. We will never return here again.

I'm really surprised when I hear a bad review of Avenue Road car wash. I've been going here for more than a decade and have never had a bad experience. The staff are really nice, freshwater is used at the carwash (most car washes reuse their water therefore putting salt etc. on to your car). I always find that they do a good job. The inside of the car is wiped down by hand. I have also brought in my father-in-law's car for detailing and they did a beautiful job. If you are not happy with the job that is done I would suggest speaking to the cashier or the manager. I highly recommend Avenue Road car wash as well as their detailing service.

Been coming here for years, would even go with my dad when I was a kid and things have drastically gone down hill. Just paid for the ultimate wash and my vehicle is anything but clean. They didn’t even wipe down the infotainment screen or dashboard. There is still bird waste on the front of the car, the leather seats and WeatherTech mats have dog hair and sand all over and the windows weren’t cleaned. For a full service car wash you’re better off going to a gas station. Unfortunately, after over 25 years of service I won’t be returning to Avenue Road Car Wash and will be giving my business elsewhere

Very disappointed in the car wash I had there. They have really gone downhill and just don’t care like they used to. They didn’t even clean the inside of my car at all, and actually left these white smear marks all over the inside. I might as well have gone to the gas station!! For $30 they should clean the inside! I will go to Bayview car wash from now on.

Been using this place for years out of was of location but generally been unimpressed. They are under new management though and I’ve seen a marked improvement in both the service quality and overall experience. Topped today when it started raining and the manager gave us a little something to compensate for fact I just had car washed. Unexpected and not demanded but very kool. Good job guys. Keep on improving.

For $40, not bad. I think their service needs to be kept in perspective. An in/out kinda operation isn't detailing, so I don't necessarily expect perfection... gotta lay down $100+ for that, and allow the time for a thorough cleaning. Reasonably happy with my visit tonight. Depends on what you want... a good refresh with speed, or thorough cleaning. I don't think one can have both at that price point.

For one of the most expensive Express in and out car washes in Toronto the quality of work is not great. I was impressed when I saw four guys wiping the car down inside and out after the automated car wash portion. But when I returned home and on close inspection I saw plenty of places they missed that they shouldn't have. The automated car wash works quite well though. If I go back it will be an for exterior automated wash only.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. That old automated system doesn’t wash the dirt at all and they expect to collect $20 before taxes for that???? Now, when you’re done with the “wash” a crew of guys will come with rugs to forcibly remove what the machine couldn’t leaving your car with bad scratches all over. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

You would expect for $35, that you would get great car wash. However my recent experience was far from that. The wash left dirt on the trunk lid and back bumper, wheels, front bumper and water spots on the windows. When you bring these issues to their attention, you get more attitude than correction of the problem. Never again. Our local gas station wash does a far superior wash for less than half the price.

Very slap dash. Lots of spots missed. My car comes out way cleaner from a Shell gas station automated car wash where I pay close to half the price of what I paid here. I think people go here because there are few car wash options in midtown.

This is most definitely the worst car wash in the entire city. For $30 they will not even vacuum the veichle. We actually called to complain and told them there is still sunflower seeds on the carpet and dirt then could be easily cleaned with a vacuum. Their attendant there is named Tanya, and she is an absolute nightmare of a person. She called our truck “excessively dirty” because of the sunflower seeds. Right. I said sunflower seeds. My mom and I left and went to a $2 vacuum and got the job done. For $2. Stay away from these crooks. Absolute rip off. They will not do any work and will charge you $30 . And Tanya is very unprofessional and appeared to be hungover and absolutely reeked of alcohol. Gross

Honda CR-V. - My first time here, and I paid for the $30 wash. I was told this would not include washing of my carpets, but would include inside cleaning. I don't have high expectations, but inside cleaning at the very least would be a vacuuming of the carpets and seats, and at the most interior wipe down of the console and are hard surface area. Outside wash was good, it's a machine wash. Inside cleaning was not worth it. They didn't ruin anything, they simply did not vacuum the car anywhere other than the floor of the front seats, and floor of the back seats. They skipped the trunk entirely. They did not vacuum the mid console between driver & front passenger. They did not vacuum passenger back row. Completely skipped the trunk. I'd also like to point out I cleaned my car of any items prior so they wouldn't have to throw anything out other than 1 tissues that was in a side area by passenger door. I left this as a test. I was curious if they would remove obvious debris... they didn't which tells me they completely skipped side door areas too. I don't recommend coming here, they don't do a thorough job on the inside. To their credit, I did find them super friendly when speaking with staff.

2 weeks ago I took my car for a deluxe cleaning as it was very dirty and messy inside out. The outside got cleaned well and it was cleaned up inside too however the the sensitive surface like the windows were very glossy, we could easily notice the wipe marks. As it was cold outside, the cleaner said it is just the haze due to the cold windows, however after we left and the car warmed up the gloss remained there and was disrupting the view too. It is not acceptable for such a pricey service as the deluxe cleaning ($100).

Left with my car in rougher shape then when it went it ! Went in with the intent that $35 and a sign saying " Interior & exterior revitalizing wash" would allow me to leave with a nice clean car and a satisfied customer, however this was not the case. I was hesitant to proceed with such high prices, however figured that with the long line up and the ability to charge these prices, must mean that they were doing something right, right? Wrong. Hardly wiped down the inside of my car although, they made it VERY clear that they wiped the windows by leaving behind wipe marks everywhere! The dashing duo of murky cloth wipes and their fingerprints left me very impressed.... :| Furthermore, did not clean seats, did not dry the car properly- leaving dirty drip marks running down my car. Do yourself a favour and just clean your own car before going here.

My first experience in this car wash, absolutely baaaaad, I can’t believe they charge $40 for in/out even doesn’t properly clean in and out and they broke my license and cover plate, I’ll try to talk with the manager and they said “is not available right now and we can’t do to much with that” really so I have to go and buy another cover and wash my car again… thank u is my first and last time in this amazing car wash ????????‍♂️

I still had bug marks on my windshield, they barely do anything inside the car and I asked the guy to dry my rims and he gave me additude. What a joke! You pay $30 for a terrible job! Took my SUV for a car wash today. This was my first time under the new management. I always thought this place provided decent value - the fact that the price is now $40 for a lesser clean is a bit of a rip off. BUT the reason why I am writing a review today is that when my car got to the end of the line, the previous car was stopped however the line kept moving and my car kept ramming the other car in front of me!!! There was no one around and I had to run inside to tell the cashier who ran outside to stop the line!!!! She got one of the guys to move the 1st car and check for damages. When I asked how this could happen, he told me that the car in front of me was too small to active the sensor so it didn't know to stop mine! NO apologies from anyone! They all got too distracted when someone from the beginning of the line came down to yell at them for stopping the line. Such unprofessional service + I can't believe what happened!!!! I took a picture while it kept ramming - thought I was taking a video but i didn't realize until the guy moved the first car. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR WASHED HERE!

This is not a very good car wash to go to. They leave lots of dust and don’t do a good job cleaning the inside of the car. Also the dryer broke a piece of of the car and management did nothing except say they aren’t responsible. Very poor customer service. I will not go back and do not recommend it. Bayview did a much better job of vacuuming and interior cleaning.

I waited in line for 20 minutes to pay $30 for a terrible car wash. The back (exterior) of the car was filthy. My regular $7 car wash in the junction is far superior and faster. Total joke and waste of time and money. Edit: oddly enough the staff were all extremely nice. Just not good at cleaning cars.

Charged $30.00 and didn't really manage to clean the car. There remained visible dirt throughout the interior and on the front bumper. The car was not particularly dirty and the car wash was not at all busy, so no excuses at all for this. I went to take pictures of my car to sell it after going here and had to re-wash the car before I could. Not sure how they expect to run the place like this. I've had much better results at Bayview Car Wash for a similar price.

Unfortunately going to this car wash was a huge waste of $$. I had to ask them to re-vacuum my back seat but I’m reality it doesn’t look like they vacuumed at all. The guy that services the enterence to the wash is incredibly rude. Inside of doors and dash are still dusty and dirty. Not worth it at all :(

I normally get my car done using "AutoGroom". They were not able to take me today so I thought I would try Avenue Road Car wash again. Now I remember why I don't go here: -dirt left on windshield -door sills not wiped down well, smudged dirt left - right passenger door did not wipe at all - soap left on exterior mirrors. - back lip of trunk not dryed off and when I mentioned to guy he gave me a dirty look Also say one of the guys who was drying the cars drop his cloth on the ground, pikc it up and go back to the cars. I will not be going back here again.

The old ownership was way more detailed in cleaning as oppose to the new. The old ownership would make sure your wheels glistened. They would spend 5+ minutes on a car just drying and detailing the last bits of the car. The old crew was so good I would see people tip them. The new ownership and the crew is okay. The car will look good but not like the old days. These guys are more worried about selling chips and candy.
