Great car wash, best in town for this style! Fantastic job at both York and Red Lion locations! Even if you're not a member, the basic wash for $10 is noticeably better and cleaner than one from Rutters at the same cost. For that reason and the fact that I enjoy a weekly wash or two, I've gotten the membership!

Bought car and interior wash, $34 and was very disappointed. The exterior wash wasn’t bad but the interior wasn’t great. First off when I pulled up after the wash I was told it would be about an hour. Not a problem I had nothing going on the rest of the afternoon. It took close to two hours before I got out of there. Was never asked if I wanted an air freshener either. No one even apologized for the additional time!! Will not be returning to Apple Car Wash and will not be recommending it to anyone either.

Don’t don’t you even think on take you car there the charge so much money for something you can do in a regular car wash the charge me $200 dollars for a detailing and my car was so dirty that I can even clean that with my hands and when I told the manager she just told me that she was happy with the results first of all it look like she was blind and second of all I was the one who needs to be happy as a client or not? Offers reasonable prices for auomated exterior car cleaning. Best in town!! Live attendant instructs before the experience. Have never had a bad experience here. For an additional cost they offer detailing. I've not used this latter service but will like to one day, trusting nothing but excellence from one of York County's most thriving dealerships that best cater to customer service!!

This was my first visit to this location. Overall it was nice. Went in, in the morning and got through quick. The free vacuum feature is nice as well. Only 2 things I encountered during my visit was, during the wash process it pushed back my passenger side mirror but then later it was pushed back into its original position. One of the moving scrubbers also bent the license plate I have on the front of my car. I seen it as soon as I got out to get the vacuum. The price is rather comparable to other car washes as well.

I’m extremely unsatisfied with their customer service. They do not take accountability for damages that their car wash may do to your vehicle. I would completely avoid this car wash not just for the potential damage they can do to you vehicle, but also for their overall quality of service. It always seems their car wash is never fully operational (i.e. inadequate soap or nonfunctional sections) or there are ridiculously large lines. A car wash here is just not worth it, especially with the prices they are asking for their service. Overall, they need to significantly improve their customer service towards paying customers and take accountability when things are not right. I just cannot recommend this place until significant changes are made...

Have been here twice, unfortunately the 1st time I got a wash and wax. It was supposed to have been removed from the menu, I offered to have it removed so they didn't need to do it. They said it was OK and would take do it since I purchased it. I didn't notice it that night, but the next morning in the dawn sun I noticed a large section of my roof was still coated in wax, as well as part of my sun roof. Played phone tag for a bit, then gave up. Went back about two weeks ago to try again. just got a wash and interior. Car looked great outside, but as I was driving away, the back window looked as if it had some how been missed on one side. Already had been there for an hour, so wasn't going back to sit again. Will try somewhere new.

The car wash does a decent job for the price and the free vacuums at the end are great. However do NOT pay for any of the add ons like tire shine etc. Nothing different actually gets applied but your wallet is $6 lighter. Happened to me more than once so I stick to the $10 wash now. Their interior services are not competitively priced compared to Mister.

I have used an Apple carwash subscription for several months earlier this year. I love the ease of having a clean car without stepping outside of it, further doing so while on my way to work. Each experience has cleaned my car well, I appreciate the free vacuum service as well for when I have the extra time, nevertheless I recently ran into a problem. In June I decided to spend my money on some other priorities; I discontinued my membership at the Red Lion location. Two months later, I found that they had still charged my card each month for washes I was not using. Taking action, I called in and had them cancel the membership and refund the amount. Here at the start of my fall college semester, I watch my bank statement carefully for budget purposes, only to find my membership was still active. I understand mistakes happen, but this was the third time I had to cancel my membership. I spoke on the phone to a team member by the name of Rory. He was not only helpful and kind, but he offered a refund and an arrangement of free washes when his manager was next in. I called in, later on, to speak with Kelly and although she refunded my money, she rushed the conversation and was rude on the phone. Things have been "reconciled" but I dislike the service from whoever had never canceled my membership and the poor attitude of Kelly.

I have to call for a refund bc I am also supposed to have free washes but cant find my code & apple has not got back to me yet after 3 days. Good car wash with plenty of open hours. For the price, I'd expect s little better pre-wash. The guys seem to put minimal effort into brushing the front and back of my car. I have complained to the manager but it made no difference. Mechanical breakdowns also seem to be a problem. Although a completely new wash system was installed in the spring of 2018, there are days when it still breaks down. Show me a little better service and keep your equipment running and I'd improve your rating.

I had to stop here yesterday after finding out that my dealership didn't provide free car washes with service. The full service price was kind of steep at $34, but that got you a full wash, tire treatment, hand dry, vacuumed, windows cleaned. The reason it is only getting 3 stars is because that price should have gotten my dash board cleaned (and they forgot) and should have gotten me a fragrance (also forgotten and I wasn't even asked). I would give it 5 stars and promote this place, but I can't do that when included items are forgotten.

This is the 1st time I use this Service. I am not very happy about the quality of the work that was done. I understand that this is not a complete detailing service but I did pay $49 to have the inside of my car cleaned and needless to say there was still dirt in the middle console and also on the sides of the interior of the interior of my car. There were spots that were not even touched at all. I really am not sure if I'll be back. This was extremely disappointing. I definitley wasted my money.

There are far better, cheaper options with the opening of the new carwash by BJ's. I wanted to be a fan of this carwash since it opened, but many times I go there, it is closed (e.g. at 11 am on Dec 24, 2021). Then when I was able to use it and paid for the interior clean, it took 45-60 minutes for them to complete. This happens several times over the years and pre-COVID, so they can't blame it on that. I just think it is poorly managed.

From beginning to end, this was one of THE WORST experiences I have ever had to deal with. I got the ultimate package, top notch car wash and detailing services. I had never gotten the detail before and thought it would be a pleasant experience for me and my car. HIGHLY MISTAKEN. I watched several cars who pulled in AFTER me get finished before mine was even touched. The staff was not friendly and acted like they didn't want to be there. My front plate was damaged in the car wash itself (which I'm willing to let go, it's not the machines fault), but no one bothered to say anything to me about it until I picked my car up. My car had had the dealership tape on it from when I bought the car and although the staff removed it, they scratched my windows in the process. They shouldve stopped after one scratch but continues and now I have an outline on my window of where the tape was. Thanks. The cherry on top was that not only did I recieve damage to my vehicle and unfriendly service, it tool over and hour and a half for this to be done. If I knew it was going to be that bad, I would've skipped the car wash all together. YES THE MANAGER HAS BEEN CONTACTED AND NO, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESOLUTION. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CAR WASH.

I had always loved the apple car wash. I bought my 2018 honda civic last year brand new with only 12 miles on it right away signed up for the unlimited car washes for $19.99. I was disappointed to find that not even 2 months after signing up for this package the fee was increased to $24.99. I used to take my car through car wash twice & then spend 45 min-1 hr vacuuming. I've only ever taken my car to apple car wash & now a y ear & a half later my car is totally covered in faint circular scratches from front to back. Basically every square inch of my paint job has been lightly scratched from the apple car wash cloth scrubbers. The unlimited vacuum feature is great though. The suction on them gets everything out of all the nooks and crannies in my car. Plus if u accidentally suck something up by mistake you can get it out because the attendants empty canisters daily & are able to retrieve anything u accidentally sucked up, if u need them to.

People need to understand that this is a fast detailing service nothing is going to be perfect just get the basics done. They are understaffed at the moment don’t blame them for that. They do there best when they get busy and try to get you in and out as soon as possible, it’s not fair to them for grown adults to act like children and talk behind there backs and calling them names because they told you the wait is going to be longer or because they couldn’t get to your car right away. They do great work and are trained to go fast which is always appreciated. If they make a mistake they will help you out with no issue so don’t make it one. They have some of the greatest staff and the best managers and supervisors. Give them chance don’t be a Karen.

This is a short version of my experience with this car wash. I paid for a gold membership and used 5 times even though I visited this place 8 times. They have malfunctions quite often and they close the entrance and therefore you can't use the service. On the 5 times I could use the service I only got the entire gold wash in 2 of them. When I decided to cancel the lady was kind enough to tell me that the triple foam was broken down and they would fix it on that same night, but she couldn't explain why it didn't worked the last 2 times I used on the last two weeks. I just think it is completely unfair to charge for a service you are not really offering to your consumer. If you are considering using it, I would advise to purchase the silver membership.

If you're looking to knock the dirt off the car and have a free vacuum then this is the place for you. If you want a real cleaning, look elsewhere. Their unlimited washes is a great thing to have at the end of winter to knock a lot of salt off the car, but their prewash is getting to the point of pathetic. The "ultimate" wash doesn't actually clean much other than vacuum the floor mostly, wipe the top of the dashboard mostly, and swipe at the windows and some of the bugs on your grill. After years of talking my truck here I'm seriously contemplating taking it elsewhere due to pure laziness in younger employees and endless excuses from youthful managers.

I was using the monthly wash plan for ten years. Sometimes the wash didn't get the vehicle clean and required a rewash. Now after all these years they are telling me I need to remove the roof bars, and trailer hitch, remove or cover the rear mounted spare tire from my Jeep to use the wash and this was never required before. I had taken of my antenna but nothing else and was fine on the past. I was told that Jeeps and trucks were damaging the wash machinery and this is why they have ask this now. I have cancelled my plan and plan to not return. Not posting any notice or any communication with customers of a policy change until you are in the wash bay is not acceptable.

This place is great because it has free vacuums with the wash. In the wash club is fairly cheap compared to other Businesses. The only reason I gave him four stars this because this is the only club that I’ve been involved with that doesn’t provide hand towels. This automotive wash is by far one of the best in the area and it’s all due to the people that work there and manage the facility. The hard working staff actually cares about the end result. Having worked there myself I admit this may seem biased. But I feel the need to note that considering the volume of satisfied customers they clearly are doing something right. Will they get it right every time… absolutely not. It may not look like it from a glace but the car wash is actually a very complex machine. A machine with a lot of moving parts all based on timing. It too may not always get it right. But it’s better than washing a car by hand right? Thanks Apple Car Wash Express!

My 2015 Ford Escape and I were first time customers at Apple Express Car Wash on Marbrook Lane in York this morning. I opted for the $32 Ultimate Package which includes towel drying and cleaning the interior, windows, vacuum, etc. I am happy to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The exterior car wash was average in length and cleanliness. I expected the interior service to be similar to Walmart and other places where they vacuum but never lift the rugs. The service team spent over 30 minutes on my car. They pulled all of the rugs out, scrubbed the plastic mat in the back, washed every one of the windows, the dashboard and even the mirrors. I swear my Escape looks and smells brand new. Kelly, the customer service representative and all of the staff I came into contact with were friendly, pleasant and courteous. Since leaving their facility I have told just about every person I have come in contact with about them and even showed a few people my car. I HIGHLY recommend this great company and their services. I know I will be a returning customer for life.

I have been a monthly membership holder for three or four years and have seen many issues over time with the quality of service and customer service at the York 30 location. Here are just a few of the issues I have noticed over time. 1. The attendants don’t pre wipe the car with the brushes when you enter the wash. Not really sure why they are paying them to stand there except for to wave you in. 2. Many times the the auto calibration on the drying machine is off and it spins and doesn’t touch your front window or hood. Usually I just go back in another time to fix this it does the same thing and I just give up. 3. They changed the price on the interior cleaning. You used to get at lower price due to holding a monthly membership not anymore. I questioned this especially being that this was one of the major things they promoted to get me to sign up. I was told “prices change”. 4. The customer service isn’t good. Particularly by Kelly McCoy-Smith the general manager.I have spoken with her a few times and she definitely doesn’t understand what customer service is. She is short unapologetic and seems to really have a you can take it or leave it attitude. Hopefully the new automated wash that is opening close to this location is better. I will definitely switch over and recommend that anyone in the local area to do the same before signing up for a membership with the 30 York location.

This place is all about timing. Depending on the time of day that you get there, you'll either wait 30 seconds to get into the wash bay (of which there is only one) or 30 minutes. Multiple wash bays would relieve this issue, but the thing that makes the 30 minutes wait worth while is how great a job this drive thru wash does at cleaning your vehicle. If they would have a more efficient system, or multiple bays, I would happily award the fifth star.

I used to be a loyal customer here until lately. Even after they raised their prices I still went because they used to take pride in their work. Not anymore. Last 4 times paying for the 49.00 detail services, I will not go back. I understand that it’s a fast detail service but putting floor mats back in still soaking wet and when they dry they have just as much dirt on them meaning they don’t even wash them. In addition, barely vacuumed the rear seat and floor and didn’t wipe it down. The new employees there could obviously use some training instead of the manager walking around worrying about talking and socializing. I really hope they get it together. Seems like all they worry about is the dealerships cars that come through. I’ll be taking my 200.00 a month elsewhere.

The only critic and frustration I have is that they have one or two employees at the entrance car wash tunnel with power wash hoses and they dont clean your under fenders and wheels. I wish there were more supervision here to improve the quality of work. This mostly happens at the West York lot. The Red Lion lot has better service and because the employees work more as a Team.

My husband and I have an unlimited car wash membership and from day one we've been very frustrated and disappointed with them. The car wash frequently have at least one brush or part of the system not working if not more than one. Is never a sign or a notification about it so we can decide if is worth the wai on line for an incomplete service. Back in the holidays the car wash stopped operating for over a month without any notification or explanation. They just closed in the middle of the bad weather between the snow and the salt and kept charging us . We had it to pay for other car wash to keep our cars free from salt. The car wash it's constantly having problems keeping us from having an unlimited service when the reality is that we're limited because most of the times the car wash doesn't works properly. Today I got tired of these issues and called the car wash because the first brushes are not working for a week. I asked for an adjustment of the payment but they said "it's what it is, and we don't do any kind of refund." I asked when those brushes were going to be fixed and she said that she didn't have any clue because they needed to order the piece and could take from one week to one month. If you're really looking for an unlimited functional service.. do not come here. You probably will have a complete service once in a while but Apple is really greedy when it's time to adjust prices. They lack communication but can communicate with your bank account monthly without no hesitation.

I was told after I paid for the car wash that I could not take my wrangler in because they say it damages the equipment. Mind you I have been taking wranglers through there for years with no issue. When I said that they might want to put signs up so people will know that they do not take wranglers any more the attentend that stopped me just shrugged it off. 10/10/17 6:48pm purchased a deluxe wash. While conveyor belt pulled car through wash there was NO WATER OR SOAP. We blew our horn, they stopped the conveyor belt and asked us what was wrong. How can this happen? No water while the brushes beat against my car? Then when the attendant had me pull around to go through again... I was given the cheap wash, instead of the one I paid for. Very disappointed. Buyer beware.

The interior of my car was "cleaned". The windows still had finger prints and u could tell it wasn't done right overall. My 11year old son said he could clean it better with a baby wipe! Outside of my car there was a dried spot of bird poo that was still on after being washed and waxed! What a joke! I called in to tell them what happened and they didn't seem to care or offer to make it right! Don't come here to get ur car washed or detailed! There are plenty of car detailing businesses that take pride in what they do!

I'm a member of the carwash and I am paying full price for half of the service. They don't give you a break on the price. Only half of the brushes are working. When they finally fixed a part another part breakdowns. I believe they never give any maintenance to the system or mechanism and I'm sure is because they don't want to spend money on it but they still charge you like a new carwash. I strongly DO NOT recommend anyone to waste their money with Apple carwash!

I've visited twice and both experiences have disappointed me. I purchased their highest package boty visits which includes the interior of my car at a of cost almost $40. On both occasions they missed vacuuming substantial areas. And didn't do a good job wiping down the interior of the car. I ended up having to go over the interior again myself. Just left this car wash, granted I got there at 10 minutes before close, but it was the worst experience ever. First I paid for a $10 wash with a $20, the receipt says give it to attendant for change. Handed the receipt to him and he didn't know what to do, he checked in the office and they told him when I was done I should bring the receipt to the office for my change, seriously, he couldn't have done that on his walk in? Then he proceeds only to wash the driver side of my vehicle before moving me along the conveyor. As the wash starts my husband and I notice he did not flip in the mirrors on our SUV, so we quickly reach out to do this getting sprayed. After the wash I go in to get my change and speak with the supervisor, who informs me they only flip in mirrors on trucks, I guess car and SUV mirrors are made of steel and cannot get damaged. I will never go to or recommend this car wash. Do yourself a favor and go to Andersons car wash in Dover or Clearview car wash in Hanover.

i drive a range rover & a masarati. i’ve come here twice. i’m a child. my mom just died. she was young, healthy, and it was shocking to us. her birthday just passed, i’m here in PA for college. i had a road trip with my husky to her grave and celebration. my husky and people were in & out of my car. i came here for a car wash. it’s difficult to go back to everyday life after something like that. it took me a few days to be able to get up and finally get out for a clean. while i was sitting in front of my car, a woman- whom i’m assuming is the manager- rudely overreacted to the fur in my car. personally it was weird to me. you don’t know what people have going on physically and mentally, and it’s dog fur? you’ve never seen dog fur before? i could hear everything she was saying even when i couldn’t see her. she was so overdramatic and loud about my car it was so weird. especially since i’m a child and this was a grown woman. i understand huskies shed a lot.. it was nothing a vacuum couldn’t handle. if i wanted a deep clean of my life i’d get a $200 car wash. but i came here for a simple, quick, do your best clean. which the 2 workers who did clean my car did, so thank you to them. they were nice and did a great job. as a business owner and a model at my age i’m constantly speaking to customers and people. i would never react the way she reacted- especially in front of the customer- and say the things she said. the whole situation was weird to me. especially since she wasn’t even cleaning my car.
