I usually go to this location and happy with the service, The last time I went there (August 08, 2014) we went through confidently knowing my vehicle was in good hands - thought wrong. My car went through with no dents, and came out with a large dent on my driver side panel. They said it was because the car was 12 years old and it was our fault. I don't see how it is? Seeing as it was in their building, using their supplies, staff that work for them, machines that are own and operated by the CHAMOIS. I was disappointed that throughout this entire incident there was no apology. I am taking responsibility of my actions and claiming my vehicle damage with MPI. They have lost my business,family's, friends and potential clients who see this review and who have shared our hellish ordeal via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, word of mouth and whatever social media output possible.

ATTENTION owners of high value and luxury vehicles. Do not trust the integrity of vehicle with this company. I recently took a Mercedes-Benz for a car wash, and they scratched the leather steering wheel while getting on the vehicle. When bringing up the scratch to the management they reacted aggressively, and without looking into the issue, they said that they never had or would never had this issue before. They drive and handle the vehicles without care, speed up and break abruptly, and this is the perfect way in which accidents, like the scratch in my steering wheel, will happen. I had another incident with them about the handling of my vehicle, and it had to come to this so that I learn my lesson. I hope you save yourself the grief, and visit another local car wash. Finally, I am not the first customer that has dealt with the same issue with this company. Please see reviews, or screenshot about a customer who had a similar experience.

I really don't think our vehicle ever looked so good. Worth the time and cost for sure. I would have rated 5 stars, but have to say that we needed to attend to our windows the next day. No streaks, but as they defrosted, a film was there that impeded vision and had to be removed. Going to repeat the visit for sure.

After reading lots of reviews here, I had low expectations but you know what, they did a pretty good job for a reasonable price. It was pretty straightforward and easy, but they get 3 stars because my boot wasn't vacuumed properly (which I didn't notice until after I left the place), and I had to call a guy out because the wash didn't remove some bird poo on the car. Somewhat disappointing for them to miss a couple of significant spots (white bird poo on a grey car) after all the effort, but it got taken care of with a minimum of fuss.

The kids that were hand drying my car near the end of the wash left 6 different scratches in swirling motions on my car. My car is black. The scratches were white... I spoke to the manager by the name of Ryan Thompson, who rudely denied that his car wash made those scratches. I purposely inspected my car before the wash for this purpose... he showed me a really crappy video of the wash on my vehicle and denied any damage that was done as their responsibility. Only go to this car wash if you’re a gambler.

Your daily reminder that you get what you pay for. The chamois broke off a the emblem on my car and see no problem witb that. They made every excuse in the book but admitted they watched it fall off during the cleaning. Nothing was offered to make it right and Kyle the manager told me to order one on Amazon. They wanted to give me a $25 car wash to go away, this is after I came back for a rewash. They will break things on your car and do nothing about it. Save your money and go to anywhere else.

Dog hair looked as though it wasn't even touched, windows were extremely streaky and carpeting was still very sandy. Next time I'll spend 5 bucks and do it myself, total RIP off. The service has definitely declined, not sure if it’s a change in staff or a change in the cleaning products. The last two times they have left the inside of doors dirty, not even wiped, the backseat rugs are not vacuumed and the dash is still dusty. Not the kind of service I’d pay for again.

They punctured the tire of my van, came out that way, asked the supervisor when it came out he just looked at it and shrugged and walked away. Bought gold service. Sloppy work. When I looked at the car there was scratches in 3 different spots on the car that weren’t there when I took it in and in spots that are really hard to scratch(like the middle of the roof). Manager came out and proceeded to tell me how long he’s been washing cars and how the equipment is designed to not make scratches blah blah blah. In other words there was no way that these directional scratches on my roof couldn’t have been caused by his equipment. He said he’d look at the cameras to see if there was any damage caused by workers and walked away. He never took my contact info..... this place should be called the SCAM-ois. It’s one thing to do the damage but another to strong sell the customer on how your equipment is so good it couldn’t have possible in a million years ever have been damage done by these majestic brushes “cleaned before and after every shift”. Here’s a question, if you clean them at the end of the shift, why would you clean them again at the start the next day? ????. As I said, THE SCAM-OIS

Update. The general manager reached out and offered to try and buff out some of the scratches for me. He mentioned giving my car a wash beforehand, but I wasn't expecting an interior clean as well, so that was a nice surprise. I do appreciate the effort to try and clear up some of the marks, but I'll still need to go to my dealership to get paint for the rest of them out of pocket. The person I met at this location didn't seem to be interested in talking it out with me, so I just said thank you and went on my way. I left a 0 star for the chamois on Reenders and thought I'd try St. James. I was impressed. I thought they were doing a way better job until my car came out damaged. I called, and the guy on the phone had great customer service and seemed like he was really going to look into this for me but never called me back. I take very good care of my vehicle and definitely didn't have these chips and scratches on both my driver and passenger side door handles before. Take pictures of your vehicle before coming here.

I was pressed for time but had a filthy car. I decided to give the Chamois a try. First and last time. My wheels looked like they never got cleaned at all, the lower sides were covered in dirt still, and the rear had areas where it never got cleaned. Exactly why I never go through an automatic wash. I ended up having to go and wipe it all down so that it didn't look stupid half "clean" and the rest dirty. What a complete waste of time and money. I'll never go back.

I drove to Winnipeg from BC, collecting about 4 million bugs. I could barely see through the winshield and the grille and bumper were worse. They did an awesome job to restore my truck to like new condition for an extremely reasonable price. Thanks Chamois!

I’d like to preface this review by stating that I had come here with a voucher, and my criticism might have changed if I had paid myself. But anyways, I came into the Chamois with mediocre expectations and left feeling that I had my expectations fully met. I had received a full Gold wash, covering both the exterior and interior. My first complaint comes from the lack of instruction on what to do as a customer. I pulled into a stall and was greeted with a few instructions, which were easy to understand and simple. What wasn’t listed, was that if you wish to get your trunk vacuumed and cleaned, you’re supposed to leave the trunk open as you pull into a stall. I found out I wasn’t getting my trunk cleaned when I saw a sign indoors, stating the above. Bummer, but nothing too bad. Secondly, I had notified the clerk when I first pulled in about a small chip in the paint that was peeling on a door, and that they need to be careful around it. She assured me it’d be fine. But after my car was finished, I noticed it had grew in size by about 50%. Sucks again, but it’s bound to happen, and definitely could’ve been the automatic car wash and not the employees. And my final complaint (don’t even want to call it a complaint) is that the rags they use for drying could be a little cleaner. My paint was already in pretty bad shape, so I didn’t really mind, but I think scratches are bound to happen. Overall, I really enjoyed the interior cleaning and wish I could pay for only that, and the exterior cleaning was better than I’ve done in the past, but nothing that I’d return solely for. If an interior only cleaning option was available, I’d be a frequent customer.

The single biggest waste of money I've made all year i paid $33.59 for the manager special which includes interior and exterior the gold wash and lusta shield. My vehicle had visible dirt on the bumper the back seats weren't even done and worst of all they even stole my own detailing supplies out of a closed rear compartment in my trunk. They even stole my brand new can of tire shine and didn't even shine my tires. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Workers are argumentative i spent $6 and 10mins at the coin wash on Sargent and got a way better result. Best of all when you don't go to the chamois you won't have to worry about theft.

Everytime I get my vehicle washed here I always have a complain because they're not doing it right anymore. Waste of time and money. After they washed it and dried it it's still dirty I mean the dash board obviously they didn't wipe it clean because you can still see the fresh dust on it. The door frame still has the dirt (film) the front grill still not clean they didn't wipe it right still wet and brown from the dirt even if you tell these guys it's like they don't care. I came back today for a rewash still the part/area that I am complaining the dirt still there so I wipe it myself as easy as that but they still missed wiping it and 4 or 5 of them are wiping it dry but still they missed a lot of area to wipe it clean. For 5 or $6 I can clean my truck better.

I phoned and asked them what would happen if I gave them money for service and the service was not completed properly, they said I would have 24 hours to return. I asked what if I can't return in 24 hours? She then said they would be keeping my money. I asked "Don't you care about satisfying customers?" and she said "No it doesn't matter if you're satisfied" and then yelled at me and hung up. The manager justin at reenders however, invoked customer service and did not care about the silly 24 hour policy. I will be going there next week for a free cleaning. Reenders is picking up the slack for Waverley and St James.

So I re-visited, after a year of boycotting it.. around 3pm. Thinking it would be better this time. It wasn't, half my dash wasn't cleaned, my inner console has dirt all over it, and there's streaks all throughout my window. I will never visit the Chamois again. I used to love coming alot to Chamois car wash but over the years they have changed and not for the better. I came 3 months ago to get a full detailing for my car and my car ended up getting scratched and when I mentioned all they did was brush it and put a cream on it. Oh and my car wasn't dried properly and it ended up smelling for days. The customer service is terrible and rude to customers. They didn't offer anything to resolve the issue. This was at the st.james location.

I brought my 2008 Mazda 3 to the Chamois on St. James Street for a gold car wash yesterday, May 26, 2018, I would usually do a wash myself but I received a gold certificate as a gift so I decided to use it, which was a mistake that I regret. I have an after market touch screen deck in my car, (a Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD double den deck) that after the car wash just so happened to stop working with the touch screen capability. I drove directly home after the wash without knowing and parked it for the night and then today (May 27, 2018) I find out that its function is no longer working. So I decided to go back to the Chamois on St. James to see how this could be resolved but I was very disappointed with the outcome. I spoke with the store manager Ryan Thompson and he was no help at all. Ryan Thompson mentions there is a disclaimer prior to purchasing your certificate saying that the Chamois is not responsible for after market accessories, but that is not true. The workers at the cashier do NOT speak any disclaimer to you before you make your purchase, also there is NO disclaimer in the cashier area warning you about after market accessories. There is ONLY a disclaimer AFTER purchasing a certificate and you are now in your vehicle and are driving around the building there is a sign with a disclaimer mentioning that the Chamois is not responsible to damage to after market accessories. There was also a worker standing outside that I showed my Gold certificate as I was driving around the building, she gave me a Gold sign that I put on my dash to inform the other employees that I am getting a Gold wash done. She also handed me a paper that I would later bring into the building to the cashier with my Gold certificate so the cashier would stamp my certificate void, staple a receipt on my paper the previous girl outside gave me, and also give me a sheet of plastic that I would use to retrieve my vehicle once it is finished being washed. There was a disclaimer on that piece of paper the worker outside gave me but again, its being presented after the fact that I purchased the certificate, and am in line to enter the building. But again, no sign or notice PRIOR to purchasing your certificate, only after you have given them your money. The Chamois also offers ZERO refunds to people who purchase a car certificate for a car wash, so that means that you are purchasing a service not knowing the risks involved until after you purchase and are driving around the building and stuck in line. This is not right or legal to have a disclaimer mentioning no responsibility to damage to after market accessories AFTER purchasing the service and with having ZERO refunds offered. I spoke with worker inside the building and she said that they use a general cleaning spray and spray the entire dash board including audio decks and wipe it down, Ryan Thompson says that's incorrect and they do not spray directly onto LCD audio decks. So for one the workers are young and uneducated on the services they provide if the worker inside had no idea how it was done. For two, Ryan Thompson also says that they do not wipe down LCD audio decks with chemicals but I find it very hard to believe that someone in the vehicle would spray the window and dash and wipe down everywhere and then switch to a SEPARATE cloth for the LCD deck, and then switch BACK to the chemical cloth to finish cleaning my interior. Ryan Thompson could NOT guarantee that a worker did not directly spray my LCD screen and says that it must have been a coincidence that my deck just so happen to stop working after the service was complete. Ryan Thompson also mentions that there is nothing that he is willing to offer me for compensation, no free car washes, just nothing (not that I am ever going to use your service again or am I going to ever recommend it to anyone in the future) he did not try and make an effort into making a customer happy. I will be speaking with the Better Business Bureau and will more than likely be speaking to you guys in the near future, thanks for nothing. Jordan

The worst service I've ever had. Spent 26$ and got nothing but half dirty vehicle. Then went to coin operation car wash and rewash it again. All windows were dirty and rubber mats were full of water. They missed a lot of spots. They cleaned my windows so bad I spent 20 minuts to make it clean again. I'll never ever use this terrible car wash again and will tell everybody do so.

Always a good cleaning job here but the fella driving the cars into the wash 2:30 pm on the 26th of February could really work on his appearance. His yellow shirt was absolutely filthy as was the rest of him. If I’d been driving the fancy Audi S5 in front of me I’d definitely not have let him get in it.

I would not suggest working here unless your a student who wants to earn a couple cash on the side. You get paid just a little more than minimum wage because of the little to no hours you get, it’s all about the weather when it comes to working here and they always push back your time and send you home early if it’s not busy cause that’s how cheap the company is. Some of the people you work with are fun and some are just questionable. In my opinion I wouldn’t take my car here for an interior clean just cause a lot of the workers do a sloppy job and rush since it’s a fast paced environment so they don’t take their time to make sure it’s properly clean. I would even say your car would probably look cleaner before entering chamois. When applying here your most likely to get hired on the spot because people come and go, so the manager will literally hire anyone even homeless people. The problem with that is most of the people who get hired do a very poor job. So if your someone who is paying bills I would not recommend this job just cause of the low salary you’ll earn. Literally a paycheque here is probably only enough to pay for your cell phone bill. I’d suggest working at McDonald’s or any other job is way better even though it’s minimum but at least you’d get guaranteed hours and not have to rely on the weather.

$25 and 45 minutes for a small army of washers to do little more than vacuum your carpets and put your vehicle through an automatic washer. They don't seem to actively attempt to clean your vehicle, they just go through the same process regardless of which parts happen to be dirty. Save yourself the time and money, buy some armor all cleaning wipes and hit up a DIY car wash. One person with a pressure washer, vacuum and wipes can do a better job in 30 minutes than the chamois does in nearly an hour.

Come here if you want your vehicle partially cleaned. Have tried numerous times, and every time there are smear marks of dust on the inside, or swirls on the exterior. I do not need to go somewhere where staff refer to me as "bro" when I'm paying $25 for a car wash. Go to Midtown instead if you want your vehicle actually cleaned.

Very bad experience.... .after cleaning car was so dirty and supervisor was arguing...customer respect is zero they don't know what they are doing that try to hide my rear seat because they make it wet while cleaning they must have left the window open.....not at all satisfied it was criminal wastage of money and time...I don't recomend any one to go to this branch I dont know about other branches....I am very upset because when my seat will dry I will surely see the patches and water stain because they are cream colour...I told supervisor to atleast dry it and he refused to do that and told me to go for inside detailing...ha ha wants to make more money on there silly mistake...!!!! I have no complaints about the regular washing (usually get Gold and I'm satisfied). I had my vehicle completely detailed and I had a few issues which were mostly resolved. One was that when I pulled up to report for my appointment the woman taking orders gave me incorrect instructions on where to go. She then ran over and gave me a second set of incorrect instructions. Finally I called inside to find out exactly how I was supposed to do. I would chalk this up to me being new to detailing, them not usually having retail detailing customers show up in the line, and finally a fair bit of miscommunication. Another issue with the detailing is that my vehicle's upholstery was absolutely soaking wet afterwards. I was instructed to leave the windows cracked to let dry, but this was insufficient. I had to leave it running for 8+ hours with the heat on full blast and the windows open a bit. Googling tells me that an extractor would have removed more of the water, but I am no expert, so I'm not sure how usual this is. After drying, 4 water stains appeared on the seats. The Chamois was gracious enough to re-clean those spots for which I am very grateful. Absolutely every part of the car was spic and span after that, and I was very pleased with the results. It made selling my car easier; the buyer noted how clean it was and commented that I kept my vehicle well cared for.

I left my car for cleaning from inside as well as interior. It was my first visit with them but when i went there to pick my car, my music system was not working as well as buttons on dashboards were also not working. I called supervisor and he checked everything and noted down. I called manager lots of time and he replied me that it was not our fault and you have to solve this problem at your expenses. It’s not make sense for me. Be careful if you are going there for your car cleaning..

First of all, terrible customer service with walking out with the loss of 130$. Without a clean car. Last mother’s, I bought a 100$ gift card for my mother and she went to clean her car and there was NO money placed on the card so she had to pay for her wash. And allegedly “fixed” the card. I came back a second time and they told me I OWED money on the gift card and made me pay for my wash again. They told me to come back to talk to supervisor about this repetitive issue. Not only is it a drive to get there but waste of time. I talked to a supervisor named Kyla, she told me that there’s nothing she can do without a bank statement (I paid in cash) and could not go back in record to the day I bought it. Disappointed. Handled poorly. The staff need training on how to use gift cards. Don’t waste your money there, cause your car won’t even get cleaned and you’ll be paying.

We went back and we dealt with a man named Ryan thompson. He discredited everything we said and wouldn't do anything for us. He couldn't even so much as apologize or own up to their mistake. NEVER AGAIN!!! The floor mats was wet, visibile dirt was still left on my car and most importantly, THEY SCARCTHED MY CAR!!! I've never let anyone clean my car except myself. This was my first time and I thought they do the best job because I was driving around winnipeg (i'm new in this city) and saw all the clean cars coming out from wash and I went and go try and I had the worsy experience. Tonight the service was quick. Maybe too quick. Just a quick walk around the SUV showed a few places of dust still on that could easily have been washed off. Same thing on the inside. One seat they obviously missed a part that still had dirt on. (I have full leather interior so it would have been easy to clean). Most doors they left some garbage but took some out. Not sure why it wasn't all cleaned up. But overall the vehicle was much cleaner. Just not sure why they wouldn't completely finish the job so it's nice all around.. They also missed between seats which are hard to get at, but I was specifically told with the upgraded (gold) service they would do that. I'm not particularly happy with their job. But it's on par with others in Winnipeg from my experience.

I have been a regular customer for a few years now and have used multiple services with multiple vehicles. The staff are great. One car in particular(my Son's) is a 15ish year old ride that had a grime build-up from before he purchased. It had lived where topsoil got inside often. So as a gift to him I took the car in for a detailing. Wow! What an immense change. My car is coming due before the snow flies. I will have no problem leaving the work to The Chamois on St. James. This location is the worst one in the city. They dont do a good job here. Its run by children. I usually always do the gold wash because I have a dog who likes mud and I understand my back seats needs a bit of extra attention but thats what this place was made for. I never use my re wash because its just faster to re clean what they missed myself than me having to drive all the way back there for them to try again. Today I decided to do a rewash to see if they would get the parts they missed. The first time they didnt clean one of my doors vacume my back seats or clean my center console. Ontop of not giving back one of my floor mats (its apparently lost they cant find it) I went back and the exact same spots were missed. For the most part they get it clean but no where close to the other locations. To get a proper clean it's worth the gas going somewhere else.

Not as good as it once was. Car almost always requires a touch up cleaning. It appears as prices go up, service goes down. If you're gonna spend 30 bucks on a wash, don't go at busy times. Wait for a quiet day. Makes all the difference in quality.

Always take my truck there, about twice a week. But it seems like the service has been lacking lately. I always get a sliver with hand wipe, and noticed the employees not doing a good job. The don't blow out the mirrors any more, if they're too short, they don't get the stool to stand on, so they leave my back window, center of my hood and center of my windshield with water still on it. I end up drying the rest myself in their parking lot, just so they see me. Still nothing changes.

I rolled in shortly after they opened on a Saturday. No line up. My car was filthy going in and they did a great job cleaning it inside and out. I was on my way in no more 20 minutes (I should have timed it, it was really quick). Had I done it myself, it would have taken me hours and I'd be a sweaty grouch by the end! Instead, I spent the rest of my morning enjoying fresh croissants I picked up on my way home to enjoy with my coffee. Totally worth the money.

been there for years but lately the service is lacking. Mats are not fully cleaned, cleaner left on the doors and windows, floors not fully vacuumed either. When they dry the vehicle its never fully dry and i have to do it myself outside in the cold. If there is still snow on the car around the wheels and wheel wells they barely even rinse that off before going through the machine. When you pay for a gold wash you expect a little better quality than this. Please do better.

I used their service several times in two different locations, every time interior wasn't properly cleaned (floors, panel, mats). Today they even managed to leave interior dirtier than it was before. Well I went back for the gold wash with fries.. I mean the full meal deal wash... Anyway .my rating went from ok to disappointed. despite spending 23.99 plus tax they left the front window dirty .interior almost done..they missed the drivers side door paper holder and it needed to be cleaned. Normally the Chamois does a great job, but yesterday it was the worst wash we have ever received. Paying 25 dollars and having the inside of the car covered in dirt from the employees was a little much. The passenger side door was filthy and the dash wasn't cleaned properly. It was a busy day at the car wash but it doesn't mean that it is excusable. I have called to voice a complaint but to go back for another wash would be out of the question. The wait time was around 20 minutes and then having the car on the inside dirtier than when we took it in. I would suggest to only go there when it isn't busy or in the summer.

The exterior cleaning is usually good. But so are drive thru car washes. The only thing that makes me come to chamois is for the interior cleaning and maybe the lustra shine. The interior cleaning sometimes the carpet is worse than before from their muddy boots. The regular workers sometimes don't put a lot of effort into the lustra shine. The supervisors with ties usually do a good job.

So so so disappointed!!! Got a GOLD wash spent $25.00, the whole inside was still very dirty. The back wasn't even vacuumed, there was rocks and sand all over the floor still. Dirty spots all over the front dashboard, nothing seemed to be wiped down as there was still spray that hadn't been wiped. Over all very disappointed and they will be losing a regular customer. This has not been the first disappointment from Chamois. Will be posting also on social media. I tried to reach out to Chamois with my dissatisfaction and nobody ever got back to me.

Wonderful job done on my car...very well done and super clean and polished. Only problem is we ran into a thunderstorm on the drive home(1.5 hours) . But the interior is still sparkling.

The chamois boasts they are a full service car wash. However, at best, they do a mediocre job. While it’s nice to have the interior and exterior done all at once I’ve never left without needing to go home and polish off some missed spots. For the price I wouldn’t expect this to be the case. On a recent trip someone else’s floor mat was placed in my back row. I didn’t discover it until I returned home and when I called the location the manager said to me “we have a lot of new staff and a lot of mistakes have been happening.” Doesn’t exactly promote a feeling of confidence in the business. It’s ok if you want a quick interior and exterior clean, just don’t expect perfection because they rush vehicles through.

Just got a wash here for the first time after being disappointed at many of the other Chamois locations and I have to say I’m impressed! The inside and outside of my car was done very nicely, probably the best carwash I’ve gotten at The Chamois. However, the two girls working at the front desk decided to continue their to conversation while I was paying. The only words one of the girls spoke were snapped at me, and she ignored me when I asked how she was doing because she was telling her story. To the other girls credit, she seemed uncomfortable that the other girl was continuing to tell her story through our transaction. All in all the service was poor, but the car wash was well done.

My vehicle is new and no one sits in my other seat so this was an easy clean for the people at the Chamois located in St. James. I came in for a gold wash and the only thing they needed to do was clean the mat, vacuum and wash the outside. The outside wash was horrible - there was dirt on the lower panel under the driver side doors, the vacuum was mediocre, not great, and the mat was FILTHY. When I called the next day explaining how my vehicle looked, they offered to redo the job if I came in by the end of the week - that does not work with my schedule which I explained to the manager. I said a free wash cert would work better for me - he refused. I will never go to the Chamois again. $30.00 on a vehicle that only require a wash on the outside and thorough cleaning on the driver side only and my vehicle comes out half clean? Not good. When you do a shoddy job like this - you do not offer to fix the issue on your terms only - unprofessional - and your staff should take better care when cleaning the vehicle.. very low standards.

Very frustrating when you think that you are in the shorter line (lane #3) and yet somehow lane #1 is able to get several vehicles through before yours makes it to the beginning of the wash track. Definitely need a better system to make going through the car wash a bit more fairer... As for the quality of the wash, it's a decent job, but a decent job does not reflect the premium price you pay for the wash. And when a staff member hands off your supposedly clean vehicle to you, you rarely see a friendly person with a smile on his or her face...

I work in the customer service Industry and they don’t have this. I went to the st James location excited to get my car all cleaned as I’m moving on the weekend and I wanted a clean vehicle move in. when it was done the outside was clean the windows were clean but they did not vacuum they didn’t wipe down the dash, the doors, all they did was clean the floor mats, my backseat was not touched actually my whole backseat was not touched. I went inside to complain about the issue. A young man came out and all he did was wipe down my dash and a door for me and that was it! so I paid $30 for I’m not sure what clean windows I guess. Never going back again.

Last time I went,they charged me for interior detailing,but missed cleaning the console ( which had a coffee stain on it),including vacuuming the seats. They fixed it,but nobody seems to take pride in their work there. I’ve got a fleet of vehicles that I was considering taking there for normal wash and detail,but will be looking elsewhere.

I was extremely disappointed with my last several visits to the chamois and especially this last wknd. I paid for the silver wash and added the $20 for 20 minutes and asked them to focus on the interior and door jams. They cleaned my back door jam but got the rug dirty and shampooed the floor without asking, which still has huge dirty spots where mud was dropped, and were left soaking wet.They obviously sprayed the mud that was in door jams into my vehicle as there’s still mud on my windowsills and in my vents, the top of my seats were not wiped, my door compartments were not vacuumed or dusted, dash was not wiped properly with streaks all over, my rims and mud flaps were not washed properly. I asked to speak with manager who was not in and so a supervisor came to look at vehicle and I asked him for a return but he said they’d take it back through which he did but the truck was still not clean and rug still extremely wet. I asked him if he’d atleast give me the extra $20 back as now I had a wet floor to top it off. I did not get my money back, my truck is still dirty and smells sour. Would not recommend the chamois.

There are some good things to be said about them, like the merchandise they sell and the waiting area, many of the staff are very nice and friendly. I find managers however can be quite rude at times. As a carwash, I'd say that most of the time they can do a good job on the interior if your car is pretty clean to start with. Even if you pay extra $20 for one element of the interior like the dash, it does not help much. No exaggeration. No complaints about the exterior. Hope this can help them improve.

I paid for a gold wash and upholstery detail. The seats were washed nicely but everything else that was included in the gold wash was done poorly. They did not clean any of the doors including the panels. The interior console and plastic was still covered in dust. The cupholders were not touched and there was very poor attention to detail. You're better off washing your car yourself.

I took my car in for the interior 3 pack cleaning upgraded to detail gold. They did a really good job on the interior, I have a light colored fabric which was cleaned well as were the carpets. The exterior would be more like a 2.5 or 3 as it wasn't cleaned as well. The car still had grease marks still near door edges and rocker panels, plus other areas that had dirt spots. My quality control checklist didn't have "Exterior cleaned" checked off (which I never noticed until later at home). Since I wasn't completely satisfied with the exterior clean, I rated 3 instead of 4.

I went to Chamois today on St. James and purchased a GOLD wash and friendly as always that is why I gave 1 star...... BUT upon me driving home as I was in a super rush to get home I noticed that they totally missed cleaning the interior of my car. It was very obvious as I still had a few coffee spills on my console, my dash still had the layer of dust, my gear shift still had that small drop of ice cream on it my mirror still had fingerprints..So I called to let them know hoping I can just get another car wash. Now remember I live out of town & I'm already close to home (45 mins away) AND I'm on vacation tomorrow which is why I got my car cleaned as I'm usually too cheap to pay $30. So manager/supervisor gets on the phone & I explain that it's plain as day that they missed cleaning my interior. He proceeds to ask me when can I come back in the next 48 hours. I say well I live out of town & I'm almost on my doorstep & I'm on vacation tomorrow driving 7 hours and back on Tuesday! He says sorry ma'am but our policy is you have to come back within 48 hours to get this redone. So I say..so it's my fault that I live out of town & on vacation so you won't give me another wash for free? No ma'am but I can give you 50% off your next wash cause your car is just going to come back dirtier. Well it wasn't cleaned right in the first place! All I said is no thank you..I just won't come back again.. I haven't gone to the chamois in awhile due to my car never really getting that clean on the exterior. Well Bad on me to try again as you can see where the workers wiped off my car..its just dirty circles. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME & MONEY!

Went there last night. My back seat floor wasn't cleaned. The 2 wrappers on the floor were shoved in the corner under my bench seat. Happened with my other truck 3 weeks ago as well. Part of the dash board was left dusty, floor mats are still dirty, and my doors were only wiped on the top half. Also I keep my truck clean inside so I know it wasn't overly dirty to begin with, I think that's the most frustrating part.

the last few times I've come here it's taken over an hour to go through the process for the basic Bronze package (interior vacuum/exterior wash). Are they understaffed? Also don't like the check in person trying to up-sell services. My car already has a treated undercarriage and rust protection, so I don't need extra formulas. Afterwards, I usually have to open the hatch and doors and do a bit of extra wiping of what the attendants missed.

I'm sitting here watching the customers interact with the staff and realizing every single customer has a different idea of what clean is. There is a guy with an older car who has a q-tip in hand and he's inspecting his car with it. And it's not perfect. But they're out here making sure it is clean and he's leaving happy. And I'm here because they didn't meet my standards but the manager reached out and fixed it and couldn't have been nicer. Kind of made me appreciate how hard this business must be but the staff are all smiling and doing their best. Im from Calgary and this place is less than half the price of what I'm used to paying at Bubbles or Clearwash and they definitely do a better job. I'd highly recommend these guys. If it's not what you expected just nicely say so and they seem eager to fix it with a smile on their face. Not sure what more you could ask for.

If i could give no stars I would. My husband brought his car to this location and had the weather stripping on the passenger side torn off. We contacted the location in person right after we left and noticed and was told the GM would contact us. We've been calling almost every day for the last month to just get a run around from the staff stating they dont know how to contact the gm or that we're still waiting for another call. The GM waited a month to contact us and refuses to take responsibility claiming his staff would never have missed something like that and that those types of things are found and resolved right away. He tried giving us 5 free car washes to resolve the issue when the replacement part is over $100. Never going back to any chamois ever.

They did a lousy job vacuuming and cleaning the interior of our toyota echo. I went there to have dog hairs removed from the back seat and you couldn't even tell that they tried to vacuum it. The manager informed me that they don't have the equipment to remove pet hair unless I pay to have the car detailed. So I basically paid $25 to wash my car and I could have done that for $9 at co-op.

Ive been to Chamois maybe 5 times in my life. I bought a gold wash for $28.00. I won't be going back! Quality has plummeted!!!

I wish I read these reviews before going. Brand new car didn't have a scratch on it came out with a ton of scratches and scuff marks. All the manager could say is nothing in here would have caused that!!!!! Other than that I got silence. Never take your vehicle here. Also I got the gold service and I could clean the interior of my car better with my bare hand. Very disappointed and have learned my lesson. As other people have said. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! I will never recommend the chamios to anyone!

Well I can say this, I used to go with people that used their service quite awhile ago. I think, not positive, that I may have used it once when I owned my Intrepid, anyway, decided to get my car professionally cleaned, inside and out. I was amazed at how efficient, friendly, helpful and smiling they great staff was! Guys and Gals all doing a wonderful job. Pleasant, asking when they needed to check with me about the car. Very, very, very impressed! Even was able to purchase floor mats reasonably priced for the car! Trust me, my car was filthy, due to me being so ill for the last 4 + years. In the heat we had Saturday, there was no way I would tackle it myself. I knew about their location on St James Street, verifed by my neighbors daughter, so I slapped my tunes in my CD player and off I bounced! What really got me also was the work their team was doing must have been hard especially because we were such high humidex factored in. Wow! Was like being in a sauna, but that didn't stop their Team of dedicated employees from doing an Awesome, amazing job! Hydration for sure was allowed on the job, because I saw several employees being able to drink from water bottles. Thanks for the excellent car wash, the great chat at the check out and the smiling staff, your Tribe surely does ROCK! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WELL DONE! ????????????????

I usually go to a touchless carwash but decided to treat my self to a 30$ gold package wash and get the inside done as well and the interior and windows were still dirty and some paint came off the bottom of the driver's side door too, I thought about saying something but I saw the disclaimer on the bill and thought it would be pointless.

Ordered "GOLD service" and received very poor cleaning. Car was not dried properly side morrows and windows were not cleaned well, around the doors wasn't even touched and all accumulated dirt and dust was left untouched. Doesn't worse the money paid.

ALWAYS been GOOD to me! Don't go often - but take both our work vehicle (which gets pretty dirty) and my personal vehicle - other than long lines - has always been a POSITIVE experience - both outer and inner cleaned very well considering the volume they move thru daily - if you want a better job - you can opt for their detailing services. I think the job they do is very good value - can't understand some of the complaints - will continue to come back!

WOW! The best experience I've had at a Chamois. This location took a little longer but the entire van was vacuumed, wiped down and no mess anywhere. I usually go to the Transcona location and every single time I have to send it back to go through again. I didn't mind waiting an extra 5 minutes for these results. Highly recommend this location. Do not go to the Transcona one.

I paid for a gold wash at this carwash. They broke the gear shift on my moms van and when my mom called to complain. They just said "we can't take blame for this because its common in this vehicle". Like im sorry if you know this is common why would your workers be so aggressive with our vehicle.... but cant take the blame knowing its supposedly common. Very unprofessional

Took my new Ford Fusion there after having it for just a week. Their manager would not take any responsibility for the damage, even though the scratches on the hood match the rotation of their cleaning brush. My hood needs to be repainted and they deny everything. Avoid all locations of the Chamois. They're terrible!

Had a gold cleaning, was nearly perfect. My seats had hot chocolate, coffee, and tomato paste stains all of which I can see no trace of. Highly recommend this place.

Usually do a good job on your car. But if your not happy They will run it through again. Very thoughtful. If they cant find u they'll park it till u come back. No worries

Sales lady was nice but after that you're left on your own to figure out the process. I was caught in the middle of lack of communication between 2 employees and left to feel like an idiot. And the cleaning job was terrible. The running boards and mud flaps were still filthy. The interior didn't look vacuumed at all. The clamps from the tonneau cover were completely removed and I was not informed and lost the cover going down the highway and it also damaged the box. I managed to talk to the manager once and was told it was my responsibility to be sure everything was secure on the vehicle. He said he would get back to me when they figured out what to do about it. He didn't and my calls have not been returned since. I want them to realize how serious the consequences could have been if that had landed on someone's windshield and caused a serious accident. Absolutely can not recommend this location to anyone. Maybe the others are better?

Just went tru the wash wife paid for gold wash but the final end relieved car back car was not cleaned properly many missed areas doors under the front wind guard was still dirty inertior was not cleaned wipe over fast not done good at all not happy with service

Brought mu suv to wash as the extirior was dirty from the road construccion and paid for the gold package and the exterior came back out dirth and when we pointed it oit it was like we were asking for too much. Not a great experience

Really good but lack in some areas. I opted for a $30 wash and they didn’t even clean the rims properly had to tell of the guys there to do it again. Despite the service the staff is really friendly.
