Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, only to have the front driver's side wheel thrashing quite heavily the next time I drove it. Upon inspection I find that all but one of the lugs were completely loose (I'm surprised none fell off). The one that was on was only hand tight. Also found my battery cover just laying on top of the engine the next time I filled my wiper fluid. This was about 6 months ago, and I was gonna just let it go, until they had the nerve to call me to sell me on more service (they were already aware of what happened). Don't trust people who can't even put your tires back on!

Ward's Hilltop is focused on customer satisfaction for auto repair and car maintenance. Lots of experience, knowledge and certifications. Ward has been around since 1999, with long time employees at this same location. The service adviser was very nice. So, how can this business be any better.

Engine lights comes up and I asked to get my engine checked. They want to replace me with a used engine and charged me for almost 1k. I said alright do what ever you need to do. After having it changed, I found out that when ever I step on the gas, my AC start blowing out extra air. Like they must have messed up the computer system! Three months later I found out my engine leaks. I spent another 800$ and still couldn’t get it fixed. I would avoid coming back to this place.

What a great customer service experience!!! I recently moved from Saskatchewan to BC, and my SUV needed an ICBC inspection. Ward performed the inspection with a "Pass" . I went ahead also got the oil and air filter change. Ward received a wrong shipment for the air filter due to the supply company, he then processed another order. He told me the new order of filter is cheaper and reduce my bill, what an honest guy! He did not have to tell me that, I would still pay him the amount that was quoted originally. It was on a Saturday, Ward closes at 1pm. However, he waited for the new air filter shipment to arrive. called me back, and put the filter in. By the time it was done, he stayed until 1:45, so that I did not need to come back again next week. He even gave me great suggestions on how to take care of my suv. I got a lot more than just an oil and air filter change from Ward that day. Based on my past experience, honesty is the most important quality in a mechanic. Ward just earned my business for life.

Brought my car here last month to have a quote done for a brake job. I was told both front pads and rotors plus rear drum brakes needed an overhaul. Price seemed to be a little on the high side so I paid their $45 "inspection fee" and left to have a second opinion. Went to another shop where I was told my rear drum brakes still had lots of life in them, 50% to be exact and gave in turn gave my business to them for being honest. Almost spent an extra $500 on something that did not need doing had I listened to the service advisor here.

A massive "Thank You" with heart felt appreciation for the service received on Friday April 10th, by this auto service centre. My parents (who are 73 yrs old) there 1998 Subaru Forrester stopped working, BCAA guy said the starter had come loose and needs to be fixed, he recommended Wards Hilltop Service Centre, (just down the road from my parents), I called them at 5:05pm and was told the guys in shop are leaving for the day but he will wait around and put the car in the shop bay to be worked on next day. We drove it down, the mechanic waited around for us with one of his guys, put the car in the bay, had a quick look at it, saw the problem and ........Fixed it right on the spot!!!! He Stayed extra 40 minutes or so from his day to see that my parents were not without a vehicle. That is the best customer service we have ever had to do with car mechanics. My husband who is a car guy was very impressed with how clean shop was, and how knowledgeable the Mechanics were, and pricing extremely reasonable, we will be booking it in for a full service with them shortly.
