I started using the new BCAA Auto Service Centre here in Vernon about 2-3 years ago just after they opened. I’ve never been let down by them. In fact, I’ve received nothing but outstanding service from all the departments. Thumbs up to Adam, MY (????) technician, who has kept my vehicles sweeet regardless of age and condition on arrival!. And also to Al and Melinda for the exemplary customer service and smiles on each visit.

I don't usually give out 5 stars but this had been a great experience. The online booking was smooth and the service was professional. Marcel was the gentleman that assisted me with my Toyota Corolla and he was very professional. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the place. Even in the auto service area the place looked spotless. The free coffee/tea was a nice touch also. The oil change was quicker than the time they told me and I also got a free car wash. On top of that, they had a promotion with $10 Petro Canada gift card at the time I went. I think I will stop buying oil change Groupon and start getting my oil change and car services here.

I had an estimate from the car dealership for scheduled warranty oil changes for front and rear diffferential and transfer case plus oil change. The quote was $800 and BCAA did it all for me with synthetic oil for just $492. Didn't need the air filter changed which was required according to the car dealership. Dealerships advisors are on commission ..

I arrived at 4:45 pm. Waited a half hour to be called. Then woman told me they could not serve me because not enough time. They had 45 minutes left to help me but would not. The next day I went to Guilford BCAA and they were very helpful and was able to process me UNDER 45 minutes!

After all the ads and good things I heard about this place I decided to check it out. The online booking process was very easy and the email reminders were a handy feature. The reception was polite and welcoming when I got there and they pointed me in the right direction to open my appointment. After about a 2 minute wait I got called to the desk. The gentleman that helped didn't seem overly-friendly but he wasn't rude. It was mildly off-putting but not terribly. I was quoted about 2 hours of wait (instead of the 1 hour the computer estimated for me upon reserving) which was a little upsetting, but at least they were honest. I walked around the other shops and got a call about 1.5 hours later that my car was done. When I paid everyone was polite and they thanked me for coming in. The experience as a whole was very positive and I will come back. Giving 5 star review despite the minor grievances I had because the general experience was very good.

Visited the shop to purchase winter wheels and tires that they ordered for me. I had great communication in advance, and the tires were already mounted and balanced in advance of my installation appointment. Pricing was reasonable, and it's a beautiful shop with friendly staff. Free car wash as a BCAA member was a bonus!

I have been a customer for 30 year's. Last winter my battery died. I live in Vancouver and called to have bcaa bring me a new battery and replace it. This is a service thay say thay provide and that I have been paying for for 30 years. When the bcaa truck arrived the driver looked at my car and would not install the new battery's. I have a 2014 Ford escape. I am disabled and could not do it myself. I ended up paying $300to have a mechanic come and install the new battery.

The auto centre in north Nanaimo is a great place to take your car for servicing. Labour rates are reasonable but better yet is the knowledge and courtesy of the staff that work there. I would recommend this shop.

I guess I have to give it 1 more star than I'd like to. I took my car in for another oil change. All lights were checked off as working fine. A short enough time later not 1 but 2 lights all of a sudden burnt out. Not cool at all!!! I wouldn't of been happy if they needed to be changed when I was there but after the fact is even worse. Months later would of been fine, Not weeks later though. On top of that my oil light needs to be changed thing came on and it was just done recently. Not good at all!!!! I am very upset about it. I won't be going back there Ever again. No more trust. Very bad service/experience. Also a couple of times that I had been there, my car wasn't washed. I get a coupon but I'm not usually in the area which is far away.

I went to their old location and saw that they'd moved here. What an improvement! They now offer automotive service and the overall space is larger and modern. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist, who offered me coffee. My wait was very short. The insurance agent who helped me was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a good experience here and I was in and out in not much time.

**Updated** 0 stars. Just went in to insure my sons dirtbike as per the new laws. The girls there (Nice) but have no idea what they are doing when it comes to (MV1484) form. Yes i went and had it notarized. Done this 3 times before at the other insurance places with no issues. They had no idea what to due obviously due to a lack of training. Manager talked to the lady I was dealing with and had no idea as well. In short..... fancy building but no idea what they are doing in this situation. Get your act together BCAA. Wasted my lunch on your lack of competency. You have lost all of our business. ** I just went to an insurance place down the road from you....Once the lady ran into an issue. She called the ICBC hotline and 2 minutes later we were done. No problem registering the bike. ***

My senior mother has had a BCAA membership as long as I can remember. Last night, her battery failed to start her car at a Surrey parking lot. I left work from Abbotsford and had her car started before BCAA arrived (never saw a BCAA service vehicle) the weather was not bad, so I'm very unhappy with the timeliness of service, especially with her being a senior. I would not recommend BCAA as a result.

Just had an oil change yesterday (2021-02-02). They also completed a courtesy check and went over the results with me. A burnt-out fog light bulb was replaced at no charge. BCCA is building business by positive customer experience. No fear that the bill will break the bank (which is how I feel going to a dealership). Every dollar spent here is worth it; you end up happy and your car will most likely have fewer problems!

However, I found out this morning that the brakes already have cracked and then warped my routers to the point it all needs to be replaced. Thank you to Karen at Insurance, who went above and beyond to help me get my report after the Service department closed. For her alone, I would give 5 stars. As for the rest of my experience, it was mixed. Firstly, not their fault, but I really wish that there was a closer location that did vehicle inspections for those of us in Vancouver/Burnaby. Driving all the way out here twice in one day was less than ideal. Secondly, yes, helpful automatic reminders, but it took a looong time for someone to answer the phone. Finally, I was pretty happy with the information contained in the report, and James' follow up call, but I wish it had been offered to me for it to be emailed instead of my having to drive back to pick up a piece of paper.

On the April long weekend, my car broke down some distance from Vernon. I requested a tow for which I wasn't charged because the car was going to your service centre. The centre was open Saturday only and your mechanics completed a major repair that day and charged less than I expected. They were not only professional and skilled, but also really cared about getting me going ASAP and did that with genuine kindness. I couldn't have been more pleased and thankful.

Got me in on short notice, but not cheap! I called for a wheel alignment and they told me they could do it right away so I went right down. I also needed a headlight bulb replaced. Service centre staff member pleasant and they got the job done quickly, but they charged me $46 in labour to replace the bulb, on top of the $27 bulb. Ouch! Too expensive for a 5 minute quick fix

I brought my car into the service centre due to an engine issue. The garage is impeccably clean, the whitest walls I've ever seen for a garage! Great service people, research the issue thoroughly and received the quote. It was the end of the business day and my car would need to stay a day. The service person actually drove us home himself due to the delay in service parts. Over and above!!! I will be back.

Dustin was great at front desk. I went in for and oil change. He and Brent, the technician, diagnosed my rough idle and determined the dealership that did a recall service did not reset the computer and recommended I go back to the dealer, which I did. (2 years ago and subsequent update follows) Oil Change, 24 Point inspection and car wash came to $48 incl. tax and 10% discount on labor as a member. Nothing wrong with my Honda ... try going to another auto shop/quick oil change location who tells you that. Just had to change the cabin filter which I did myself. Another star for Marcel and overall quality service. Update October 4 2019 Huge positive for the Auto Service in White Rock/Surrey. Why anyone hasn't a membership in this member owned organization is beyond me. BCAA/CAA buy their parts in bulk and the savings are passed on to the customer. I've used their exceptionally clean garage consistently since the first visit above and without issue. The Premium membership at $120 is worth every penny - used the free towing service once from Maple Ridge to the garage after hours, deposited the key in a box and they replaced a busted power steering belt the next morning. It's just not the auto service but everything else about BCAA which pays for the dues again and again - car insurance, travel insurance, house insurance with some discounts as a member. In March we were in New Zealand and presented the card to the NZ auto club. They gave me a free membership card and the same perks - free maps and towing if needed. That saved on the rental car add on (they use them for a required services)

Incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to this store. I went after my shift to have my monthly payments updated as I was eligible for the next round of discounts for safe driving. Once I entered the store I was met with nothing but resistance. It began with them questioning me and telling me I was wrong and was not eligible and it would happen when I renewed my insurance, yet I have been doing this for 5+ years and the discounts happen on the drivers licensing date not insurance date. When I told them this they were “shocked” and told me that I should have just been updating my insurance short term until it matched up. Well that’s more expensive and time consuming and my entire reason to go there was to save money. Next it was met with “oh but it’s 10minutes before close,” I understand it was later in the day and I don’t like to be that person but the store hours state they are open until 6:00pm. It was incredibly poor customer service in my eyes and it made me feel like a inconvenience to them and as a BCAA member I was very disappointed.

You guys just saved me $$$$$$$$ brought in a car I was considering purchasing, turns out it was a low km lemon. Would have been 5 stars, when I booked the car online it said Tuesday at 1:30 pm, dropped the car off on Monday afternoon. Tuesday morning at 8:30 I received an email saying my appointment was changed to 9:30 am Tuesday. That was great news because the service was set for 2 hours, that meant I could now plan for a shopping trip in the afternoon. Yeah, guess what when I came pick up the vehicle at 12 noon it hadn’t even been started yet, other than that fixable problem on your part it was a great day

Be careful when goin went for an oil change through the inspection they did they said I needed over 1000 dollars worth of work done but went to another shop to get my break pads replaced witch Bcaa wanted to replace break pads and rotors for like 700 but only needed my pads replaced and found out Bcaa charges 25 percent more than other shops in the area

WONDERFUL! They went above and beyond. Being a woman AND driving a BMW I usually get told I need a lot more service done than is actually needed and of course everything has to be flown in on a private jet from Germany after being forged in Valyrian steel ???? That didn’t happen and I’m so glad. I love my BCAA membership and I’m glad I came to their service centre. Very happy customer ????????

Came here as a new BCAA customer. Service and prices are decent. Oil change more then a dealer but tires were less. Equaled out in the end. Problem with call center and service...called in 5hrs after my appointment began and no answer to find out if my car was done. Call center also got no answer. Meanwhile when you arrive there is 2 maybe 3 receptionists at the front but Service does not have a receptionist??? So I show up and still have to wait 20 min for my car. Flawed system that needs fixing!

I initially had planned on an oil change and wiper replacement. They were prompt, did a complete inspection and all was ready in the promised about an hour. When I returned the report was excellent for my vehicle except a notation that my serpentine belt was splitting and would need replacing. I was surprised as I was sure that I had had that done recently. I said go ahead and replace it. They took the car back in and did the job and I asked to see the belt. There was a "break" or crack across the belt and when flexed it was visible. They found this! I have every record for the last 7 years that I have owned the car and checked when I got home. Sure enough the belt had been replaced by Penticton Hyundai in May of 2014 at 91000km. It now has 131,000 and it seemed that 40,000 was a small time period of use for the item. I called BCAA in Penticton and he agreed that it should last about 100,000 km. He actually phoned Penticton Hyundai to ask if they were prepared to do anything about what he perceives as a product failure. Unfortunately they said no, it was too long................I know it was four years, but still it is less than 50% of the estimated life of the belt. Penticton Hyundai has my complete records on work they have done on my vehicle. BCAA stated that normally the manufacturer would have given a replacement and I would have paid for the installation. So I guess I will have to reconsider my loyalty to Hyundai in Penticton who has had my mechanical work since I purchased it in 2012. Great catch BCAA, That could have been a major failure out on a highway trip that I do very regularly. Thanks again for your observations. G. Taylor Peachland, BC

Absolutly amazing service! I recently moved to Kelowna and required mechanical service on my vehicle. I thought the vehicle might have driven its last mile but the resulting service took that concern away. Since this initial visit I took it back to the BCAA Service Centre for a routine oil change. It was not just routine. I received a detailed overview of the vehicles condition. Nothing was identified as an immediate concern so I left with confidence that the vehicle would continue to preform.

If you like simplicity, quality service, and friendly staff I highly recommend getting insurance at this location. My boyfriend and I came into this location and were quickly helped by a very friendly employee. Liwen Liew was extremely informative, witty, and gave us an overall amazing experience. She was quick to problem solve, and a colleague to her left was extremely helpful in helping us get exactly what we needed when she was unsure how exactly to do it. Overall it was prevalent how strong of a team BCAA has. The staff are very well trained and work amazingly together. I cannot recommend this location enough! I have already been boasting my experience and recommending it to others since I came in! Thank you Liwen, and the entire BCAA team for such an amazing experience!
