Your vehicle will get scratched. I went against better judgement and took my new scratch free vehicle with 1100km on it through this wash. Mistake. Too bad your hd cameras cannot keep your car wash scrubbers from picking up debris/ trim pieces/ wipers from other vehicles, The damage is clear. This truck was one week old and flawless. Avoid this car wash.

By far the absolute best car wash (beside automobile detailing shops) in Vancouver. The only weak point, if you drive a station wagon, is the area around the rear license plate - here it requires a slight touch up. At least this is my experience with my Mercedes R350. Otherwise spotless. Staff is always friendly, helpful and polite.

BEWARE- please check with the owners if this place will be able to clean your car. I say this as I was told the shape of my car is what stops them from delivering a clean wash after I paid $20 for a wash. Like you only clean rectangular boxes? Lamest excuse and the worst customer service ever. Please do not waste your money at this place.

Shine Auto Wash is by far the worst car wash I have ever been to. I was at Mercedes and asked for a recommendation for a wash and this was where they sent me. Not only did it cost $14, which is close to a hand car wash. It didn't even clean my car. After the wash, I got out and spoke to an attendant and he told me that the reason my hood and top of the car wasn't cleaned was that the piece that drops down wasn't calibrated right for my car. He said I had to clear it with management first before I could go back in and have it done right. When talking to management I could tell that this man didn't care what the problem was because he was not going to take responsibility for anything. I feel sorry for the owners that they have an employee this poor at his job. He compared my wash to seeing a bad movie, saying you don't get a refund for seeing a bad movie. He made up some stupid reasons why it didn't clean, but it was all nonsense because I took my car after to petro-canada on 4th and Burrard and it did a superb job. I went back to Mercedes to show them the job Shine Auto Wash did and they were disgusted by it, saying they will not be sending customers there anymore. This could have all been rectified by management very easily, but this ignorant manager who was on duty clearly did not have enough customer experience to realize sometimes you have to work with the customer to resolve a problem, especially if it is the companies problem. You can see in the photo I posted that my finger could move the dirt.

Vancouver Shine Auto Wash is the best auto wash in Vancouver. 14 Interior vacuums line one end while the quick car wash is automatic, easy to use and takes about 2 minutes to complete. The car wash itself cleans cars very nicely. It also has other services you can find in the interior office.

This is an absolute must for a quick and inexpensive car wash. Yes, you could add options to your base price which would get expensive, so watch out for that. Otherwise get the base wash and be out and on the road in a minute!

Literally the worst car wash experience of my life. We paid an extra $3 for an upgrade we didn't receive, you have to be on neutral the entire time so the car in front of us braked and we bumped into him! Also, when we inspected our car afterwards, it wasn't clean AT ALL. So I paid $13 for absolutely nothing.

One less star for drying, the blowers aren't that great; good thing I parked and double checked, and had clean microfiber rags to finish the job. Super fast, though, was in there for maybe 3 minutes. Shine does a fantastic job of getting the road scum off the side of my car, big points for that, no other touchless car was has done such a good job. Splurge and get the works, it's worth it!

Sunday evening, paid for the ‘Gold Wash’, solely for the undercarriage rinse. Checked the underneath immediately afterwards and the undercarriage was completely dry. Took photos and emailed them. Was told that the ‘undercarriage rinse dries almost immediately’. When I say dry, it was bone dry, there weren’t even droplets of water caught in small gaps, and the rest of the car was still dripping wet. From this experience I can only assume that either Shine Autowash have machines that do not work, or they are falsely advertising an undercarriage rinse. To top it off, customer service is lacking as I was offered no resolution. I will not be spending anymore money there.

We took our 2003 Volvo V70 to get cleaned as we were trying to sell it. The car came out with no fuel door. It had been completely ripped off during the cleaning. We told the attendant, and they went and fished it out, but it had been driven over multiple times by other cars, and was dented in and beyond repair. We asked for a refund of the wash, as well as them to cover the costs to repair this damage. The regional manager Justin told us that they wouldn't cover it unless we went out and got a quote and inspection from a licensed Volvo dealer. So we drove across town to Docksteader Volvo and they took a look and told us it'd be $100 for parts, and another $200 to paint the new piece. They also took a look at the damage in told us that it was not pre-existing, but extremely fresh, as based on the fresh break points that you can see in the pictures below. We sent this information to Justin, and he immediately told us that they wouldn't be responsible because of the age of our vehicle and apparently they have a history of failing hinges on the fuel doors. So basically we brought our car into get an $8 cleaning, and left with $300 in repairs that we have to either pay or take off the value of our car if somebody is still going to buy it. Not likely as the two appointments we had both cancelled when they learned of the new damage to the car. I can't warn people enough not to trust a business that takes so little responsibility for their actions. We will be reporting this situation to the better business bureau, and sharing our story with other news outlets to hopefully help others not make the same mistake that we did. Can't believe I wasted all that time driving across the city to get an inspection and quote, including costs of gas and missing several hours of work.

Would not recommend this car wash. After their standard wash, the complete back of my vehicle was untouched and dirty. I raised my concern with customer service (Dave) and was confronted with patronizing and insulting comments, telling me that I should have purchased the more expensive option for a full cleanse of my vehicle. Furthermore, he spent 15 minutes insulting me and showing me other cars that had been washed, blaming the poor wash job on my car model (Honda Odyssey, a common vehicle) and my lack of competency. He then told me that I did not use the automated drive-thru car wash appropriately and that he is not authorized nor willing to compensate for the poor service. I requested to speak to management and he retorted that he is given very clear instruction by his boss to NOT give compensation (such as an additional car wash). Overall, the customer service is very unsatisfactory and rude. They are given clear instructions to not provide compensation for shoddy jobs. So if you have a poor job done on your car, they will refuse to acknowledge it and to compensate for it. If you bring this up with their customer service, be prepared to be unjustifiably lectured on how you are an incompetent customer. Terrible experience. Never going back here again. Would not advise anyone to go here, purely because of the rude service, especially Dave. Refer to the photos of the poor wash job (the front, roof, and sides of the car were cleaned. The entire back was untouched by the car wash. Notice the swipes highlighting the layer of dirt still on the vehicle). The photo of the person is Dave, who was blaming my car model and my "incompetence" as the reason for their poor wash job.

Wait time was roughly about 15 minutes for a Sunday morning. 2 lanes cashier but one lane to the car wash. They are opened 24/7 though. Attendants available to assist you as needed, and to speed up the process. End result was decent. Consider bringing a microfiber towel to wipe down the car for streakless windows and body.

Decided to try this location with the silver wash and tire shine add on. I mean generally the wash is okay, nothing wow. The problem is the tire shine, my tires did not even have any ! I mean one tire has like less than 10% covered, does that count haha ! Would probably never go to this again

I've been going to this car wash since they opened and you know the results are always predictably good and on occasion if the car wasn't cleaned to my satisfaction, they sent my car through again. One of the best things about this car wash besides how nice and friendly their staff are is the fact that they recycle the water and I just think that's an amazing piece of technology, in fact I was there today, and my car looks wonderful.

I was involved in a minor collision inside of the car wash because the car ahead of me fell off the belt. When I realized what happened I honked my horn. The attendent came over and told me to calm down. I told him what happened and he told me that I should leave and that he was going to call the cops on me if I didn't leave. Then the other driver joined the conversation and we were asking him how this happened, and he told us that if we didn't stop arguing with each other he'd call the cops. Accidents happen and that's understandable. Advising someone to leave the scene of an accident and threatening to call the cops on customers when an accident happens is not an appropriate response.

I was lured in with a giant sign with a reasonable price on it, once you get to the payment screen there are a few options you can choose from. Costing 10 and up. They make sure to secure your wipers and that nothing will fall off your vehicle as the power of the washer is a lot. My car was relatively dirty and once I finished I feel like I would have had to go 2-3 more times to get the grime off. The power of the sprayers also took off one of my signal covers and chipped it. I contacted customer service but was never helped with any sort of replacement. I don’t think that this car wash is bad I just had a bad experience. I drive by here daily and there is always a line outside. Maybe a good idea to bring a small towel to dry parts of your car off afterwards.

Not touchless. The pace of this car wash is extremely quick. The attendant barely has any time to give you instructions before you need to close the window to avoid having an unwanted interior wash. Overall it does a decent job, but I felt like I was being shoved through an assembly line. Go early in the morning to avoid waiting in line.

Cheap wash, gets the car clean and shiny, and never had any problems with chipped paint or damage. I have a brand new car, how in the hell should it be considered normal to complete remove a piece of rubber from a brand new car??? Also, it did not clean the car properly. I have used this wash dozens of times and my car came out just fine.This time around my experience was quite the opposite. My car went in dusty but overall very clean as I had hand detailed it myself 4 days before. My car came out with white soap residue and dirt that dried onto my car within 10 minuets. I figured this would be a simp fix I would wipe my car down at home and then they could run me through again another time as I paid to get my car cleaned. The manager I dealt with today seemed more concerned with his ego then helping me out by running me through again.It was a plain and simple no cant do it and he wasn't authorized to do so. I asked if I could speak with someone who was authorized and I received no help there either. He was a far up the line as I could get and he didn't have the authority to help. He told me he wouldn't run me through another time based on principle. My time is valuable but I am writing this review out of principle. Thanks for the attitude and snickering over the phone Alex, I wont be back.

I appreciate your comment about “having our best interest in mind”, but his communication had a lot of room for improvement - raising his voice with an accusatory tone and not wearing a mask while speaking with us in close proximity with our window rolled down, made us feel very nervous and intimidated. ——— We went for a cash wash at around 8 pm on Friday May 28 and got yelled at by the attendant. Our car went off the rail somehow. The attendant came up to us and started yelling, maskless. We didn’t quite understand what we did wrong, but his shouting and aggressive demeanour made us nervous and the situation a lot worse. We were in a state of shock by his awful attitude and complete lack of customer service training. Everyone can have a bad day, but his behaviour was utterly unacceptable. Will not visit again!

Don't go here. Very rude manger. the rest of the staff was nice though. told me I had too much dirt on my car and I had to hose off my car before they could wash it. So they can't wash cars? I don't understand why they are called a car wash? They operate 24 hours, but can only process refunds "during business hours". Ridiculous! Huge inconvenience to come back for a refund! Very bad experience. DO NOT go there if you don’t want to get the scratches all over your car!!!! We just bought a brand new car 2 months ago in Saskatchewan, and we always use the hand wash, but this is our first time to use the machine wash, cause this auto wash machine looks very fancy and we would like to try it. During the car wash, the brushes and strips were hitting the car so bad, so we were thinking it’s must washed so clean, we checked our car after clean, it’s really clean, but we found ton of scratches all over the car! Especially the front! We talked about this to one of the staff, and he said this must cause by the dirty brushes, he let us to talk with manager after 2 days. So after 2 days we talked with manager and showed him the scratches on the car, he said they wash hundred cars a day and this situation never ever happened before. (After talk with him I checked the reviews on google, there’s so many people had the same situation as me, I don’t understand why they say this never happened before, such a lier .) We write the report, and he said he will figure out and call us next day. Until now it’s been almost one month, we didn’t get any phone call from him. No update Too bad we don’t live in Vancouver, it’s inconvenient to reach them.

A real welcome addition to the Vancouver-area carwash scene. They have a super-efficient, computerize setup and while the prices aren't cheap, their machinery seems to do an excellent job of cleaning the exterior of your auto. I come here fairly often and my experience is always pretty average but at least it’s quick and reasonably priced. Today, however, I was turned away because my car had some mud on it. The workers were very unapologetic about it and didn’t seem to understand my confusion as to why a car wash was denying a dirty car. If it was covered in two inches of mud I’d y sweat and but that was certainly not the case. My bad for misunderstanding the purpose of a car wash but at least I know where not to spend my money from now on :)

The vacuums are the best in town!!!! I usually go for the gold wash because it has the undercarriage, a must during winter season. I add the rain x, perfect add on for Vancouvers weather. I usually try to avoid afternoon because sometimes its packed--- so i try to go at night since they're open 24 hours. If you absolutely need a car wash then this is will do. They are very efficient with how they move the cars through so the lines move quick. However, it isn’t touchless so there is a lot of contact made with your vehicle with their brushes. When my car was done, there were still some dirt areas in the back. Given how quick you move through the wash, it did a decent job.

I took my old 1989 Honda in that been sitting for a while and got the super deluxe $23 wash and was so disappointed that I went to speak to manager #1. He came out intensely examining the car, stayed pretty silent then went into to get manager 2 named Paul. Paul did the same then was not interested in letting me take it through again saying it's not their policy and it would not get it clean. It needed to be detailed. We got into a heated debate. I could not believe that for a reg $7 wash he would not allow me to take it through again. Finally we settled on a bet for the $7. If it did not clean it I would pay, if it did I would not. I actually appreciated the gesture so much that I told him I'd pay him $10! The grime did not wash off. He was right and I was wrong. I was so happy that he was willing to let my car go through again and that he cared more about me as a customer then the money that I was ready to pay but after offering it over and over HE REFUSED TO TAKE IT! We shook hands and I will say I'm happy to refer Shine to anyone! My cars finish was the problem not the wash. Thanks Paul...

I have been using this car wash for over 5 years, and have generally had a good experience at shine. My most recent visit was horrible. After waiting in line 15 mins and paying, I was about to drive into the wash when the owner walked to my window and told me to back up because my truck was too muddy. I then had to go to a near by building to collect a refund. Whats the point of a car wash if your vehicle has to be clean before hand? Why not observe vehicles as they get in line to refuse them service? Couldn't the attendant quickly hose off excess dirt or mud before entering the wash? The truck was a bit dirty from driving a gravel road, not even muddy.

The car was was awesome. Efficient, easy to use touch screen for placing your car wash "order". There was an attendant there who guided me onto the tracks and placed a plastic cover on my rear wiper to avoid being caught in the wash tunnel. Overall a great experience. I will be back for my car wash needs in the future.

Hit or miss if they're busy or not. Also paid for the premium to get the tire shine for my work vehicle, and the tires still came out looking the same. Depending on the shape of your vehicle, it misses a bunch of spots compared to a touchless car wash. Talked to the attendant one time asking if there was a manager around, but apparently you have to go online and they won't help you in person at all.

Horrible experience here. tried to bring my truck through and the owner wouldn’t let me through because of a bit of mud on my wheel wells. Was not excessive from off roading it was just mud from regular driving around. Unbelievable. Owner is a goof!

Amazed this place stays in business. Today's attendant could barely understand the word 'no.' After watching the SUV before mine be allowed through the wash without tape on the door locks or a plastic bag on the rear wiper, I asked for the same treatment. After fumbling around the words he proceeded to argue with me it was policy to tape up the door locks and wipers. Why didn't that policy apply to person in front of me? Having to argue with staff after paying $25 to get your car washed is unbelievable. Won't be returning.

UPDATED SINCE MARCH 15/19 This is the damage done to my car at the Shine Auto Wash. When I noticed it I went into the office to let them know. The employee came out and looked at it and told me that I must have backed into something thus scraping it against something. I explained that the damage goes around the fender and that is not possible. (Since I went in on March the and looking at the car from different points in the sun the scratches encircle the entirety of the car.) The employee told me to come back and talk to the manager. Today the manager told me that the car wash could not have possibly done this damage and that I must have brushed against a Bush or something. He finished off our interaction by telling me that millions of cars have gone through the car wash every year and they have never received a complaint. This is a completely untrue statement. For proof all he would have to do is look up the hundreds of complaints on Yelp alone. All of them complaining about the damage done by the car wash itself including torn roof visors, torn off gas cap covers and most of all scratches along the bodies of otherwise scratches cars. My car has sensors. It warns me of anything I might be close to. I live in a building with underground parking with a ramp that has concrete on both sides. The only place I have parked the car since I got it 6 months ago is on the street. So they both pretty much told me that I was a liar. I then told the manager that I would be writing a complaint on Yelp and he told me that I would just be doing a disservice to the millions of customers who are happy leaving Shine Auto Wash. I was not looking for compensation. I know that would have been a lot to ask. What I did want the Manager to do was tell me that they would take a look at the car wash and double check to see that is is set properly. The manager and the staff added insult to injury and I would not recommend this Shine Auto Mart to anyone. Update: I have now received a call from the car wash. How they got my number I have no idea. I have received a response to a Google review I wrote that pretty much said... You are lying because we have millions of cars that come through our car wash every year and we have never had a complaint. It’s a ripoff. I paid $19 for their “Ultimate Wash” and it came out the other side with significant spotting and unclean sections. After inspecting the car, I rolled around again and asked for a redo. The owner(?), Paul, said that they don’t redo washes unless there’s a mechanical malfunction. Also, he kept trying to say that the spots were all tree sap and playing dumb when I pointed to spots on my hood that were not tree sap and still clearly had not been cleaned properly. He also took the time to chime in that “people love this car wash” and “it’s not meant to really clean, it’s just chemicals.” And then he asked me to wait, walked away, and just left the premises as far as I know. The whole incident was bizarre, but especially so given that I’ve never been to a car wash in North America that wouldn’t allow a second go-around with that kind of residual dirt left on the car. Not going here again.

There was a gentlemen that I was not able to tell the ethnicity but he was just incredible and enhanced our day with his wide smile and humour! What a guy. One of a kind, so rare when people have such human skills to impress and touch hearts! Can't wait to come back just for that experience.

Took my car in and the sliver wash did a bad job. Asked if we can just run it through again and was told that they don't do that. Ok well save yourself 10 dollars it literally costs you nothing to help a client out. Won't be using this place again.

Dirty and damage to my car Very poor service each time I go. I went to this car wash several times. The car is never washed properly. More importantly, there are other issues with that car wash. Once, it caused the car side protection strip to detach and later on that day it snapped out on the highway. It could have cause a serious accident when it flew in the air in the middle of the busy highway! The last time I went was last Sunday. I paid extra to have triple soap, thinking that this time it would do a proper job. When my car came out, the roof and the windows were still very dirty. I was in a rush to go so I phoned the next day to report it. Since I work 10 to 12 hour a day, it was not possible for me to go back to show them the bad result of the wash as it twas suggested to me. Being aware of the fact that work long hours daily, the guy on the phone said I could email the manager. So I did send an email on Monday, attaching photos of the car with dirt and leaves still stuck on the car. The manager did not even acknowledge my email with any response. I am never going back there. That is beyond poor service and professionalism.

Really bad experience, I don't recommend. Both of the rubber strips were in the terminal Avenue and I had to go and pick them up trying to put them back on my car' roof. When I talked to the guy there he told me it is ok. It always happens, when I talked to the person in the office. His reason was well it's a cheap car wash some parts can be lost bla bla as if it was my fault to choose this CHEAP place for car wash. I just didn't want to argue and left.

Was excited to go to this car wash based on the description but will never go to this car wash based on the response from the owner's response to negative comments. It is evidently arrogant for the owner to disregard and so blatantly refuse to be accountable for anything. This is a poor business plan. Lucky for the owner that many people are too lazy and time crunched to wash their own vehicles. Total crap. I paid for literally the most expensive option with all available extras added (total price $24), so 300% more than the $8 they advertise on their big sign out front, but was ok with paying extra if my car at least came out clean - it did not. It was not obvious when exiting the car wash since the car was still wet & appeared clean because of it - 20 minutes later when it was fully dry, there was clearly still a layer of visible dirt around the entire car (thick enough for someone to draw “wash me” with their finger in the dirt). Thank you, Shine Auto Wash for charging me $24 for absolutely nothing. I won’t be back to your useless scam of a car wash.

When talking to the staff member Alex all he did was make excuses and argue with me and did nothing to compensate an upset customer. Terrible customer service. There a total scam. This was my first time through a car wash like this. I wasn’t sure how the process worked (i.e get in to the track, put your car in neutral, and release the brake), so when the guy at the controls told to place my car in neutral, I did, but left my break on...The guy was so frustrated with me and made a rude comment saying I made him miss three cars. Sorry dude, maybe if you gave clearer instructions and didn’t assume everyone was there before you wouldn’t have this problem! I’ve seen common complaints about lack of professionalism here and the owner responds justifying the attendants rude behaviour by saying they are “busy”, and it a “high stress/higher pace environment”... give me a break; you are placing cars in a line to get a car wash, the stress is because you have unprofessional people in customer facing roles! I’m giving 2 stars only because the guy that was directing cars at the pay station and helping people pay was really friendly and the wash itself was ok, but I won’t be back.

This is place is good for what it is... a non-touchless quick drive-through car wash. Come here lots of times, and never felt like I didn't get my money's worth. I wouldn't take anything nice through here (or any automatic car wash), and I wouldn't expect this to take off stuck on dirt, but otherwise it's awesome...

I paid 19$ and my car still came out with plenty of bird droppings amongst other dirt splotches. I approached the attendant who was very polite but wouldn't allow me to go through again or offer me a voucher of some kind. It wasn't his fault so I'm not blaming him but I would really appreciate the company to reach out and rectify this. I left very dissatisfied.

If I could give this a negative rating, I would. Right before lunar New Years I decided to get my car wash and cleaned to welcome the new year and to my surprise, I paid to get my car all scratched up and New Years mood ruined. To make matters worse, I contacted the company and they gave me a BS excuse and then later ghosted me with no reply. They said their machine would not be able to scratch my car which is BS because these marks were symmetrical and high up in places that the machine would have gotten. They were also 100% not there before the wash. The whole drivers side of the car was filled with these marks which makes me wonder how often are they maintaining their brushes. If you want your car scratched and be ghosted then come to this car wash. But would advise to stay away at all cost.

Excellent service and post customer service experience. I had an issue with my rear wipers and they solved in no time. Just a tip: if you car is not brand new and has rear wiper make sure they put a tape or something to prevent any damage.

I will never go there ever again. I brought my vehicle through, I have done everything that I can to keep it looking great and then It got scratches down to the metal on my hood and the bumper is also chipped. Also, that it has left swirl marks all over the paint job. So I suggest, if you value the appearance of your car...Don't ever go there. Because I have left messages for them to return my call and they haven't done so. If I could rate zero, I would. Save yourself from damages from this place. Drive past this place and go to another one.

I went to this place for the first time today. Had lots of trouble getting on the conveyor belt that pushes your car through. I own a Dodge ram 3500 once we finally got my vehicle on the conveyor belt. I went through and my mirrors were flopping all over the place they told me it was touchless but it definitely was not. my passenger mirror is now loose.they didn’t tell me to takeoff my trailer hitch. so the whole back of it was covered in dirt still.my rims were dirty the wheel wells were dirty everything was pretty much still dirty so I complained told them that I wanted my money back. and they sent me through again I took my trailer hitch off the back came out all good but all of the emblems on my vehicle were still dirty it doesn’t get in all the little creases at all. I was very unhappy I went to this place thinking it was going to be the best option for my vehicle I will not tell anyone to go to this place. I prayed for the premium wash it cost me $31 for the wash once I got out I had to detail everything myself for 20 minutes to make it look halfway decent. I was so unhappy

It's good to have 24hrs car wash and vacuuming services available in core D/T, BUT.....it is not what I always prefer to go, their services are rapid wash and at the end you can see residue of soap all around... I say it's just quick rinse but nothing else.....vacuuming token is also expensive $4.50 for 5 min.

When I talked to the manager he told me the car is old and too bad - cool. I filled out a form and followed up and nothing has come of it, hence the review. Went to shine Auto wash today to get my car washed because of ice build-up. Paid for a rust proof wash and rim shine but wasn't happy with it. I went into the office to speak with the representative Todd and told him the issue. We went and took a walk around the car to assess the problem. He agreed that the service that I selected should have taken care of the ice build-up but not the bird droppings. I was okay with this. He asked what would I like him to do about this and I asked to let me drive my car through the carwash again to try and get rid of the ice build-up OR give me a refund for AT least half of what I paid for the service. He then turned to me and said NO, we don't do re-washes or refunds. As you can see from the pictures there is still ice build-up under the wheel housing and under the car, all of which should have been removed by the car wash. This is a very simple problem that could've been fixed and it's unfortunate, that Todd was seemingly so determined not to be even remotely as flexible and willing to find a solution as me. I won't be going back.

It's good for accessibility - only one in the vicinity. But this also means they are busy, verging on too busy sometimes. They also do a lot of fleet cars (police, cabs, etc.) I have visited at times and the cars are nearly bumper to bumper in the car wash (which means less clean), and their prices have gone up in recent years. Still, good automated car wash for when you're too lazy to wash by hand

Waste of money!!!! Does not clean cars properly!!! I just called in as this carwash did not even remove dirt from my vehicle, it also left bird droppings on my car, its brushes did not even touch a huge area of my vehicle. Rear. I called and was told " we CAN'T remove bird droppings" Kind of defeats the purpose of a WASH, no? Don't waste your money here. IN RESPONSE. I did not say I had tree sap, i said I had dirt on my car. JUST DIRT and one FRESH bird dropping. Same day. And it was just your average driving in the city dirt. I used my child's baby wipe and guess what. It came off with one simple wipe. And the dirt brush off with a dry paper towel. So essentially my single baby wipe and a few pieces of paper towel to clean simple dirt off my car, was more efficient than your car wash. As i said before, your car wash does not even touch huge areas of vehicles. It should be called a car rinse. In addition whoever answered the phone was rude and condescending. Pay an extra 8 dollars elsewhere to have your car properly CLEANED. If you need a car rinse, and to have it still dirty to the point that you are wiping up dirt smears with your chamois. Then come here for your car rinse !!!!!

Sad times! In the past I would have given a high review. They are eco-friendly and do lotsa stuff for a good price. I have been MANY times. Today, however, after driving across town to give them my money; I was turned away. Stating my roof racks are not accepted. I asked why, stating that I had used this very location dozens of times. He said “please drive out”. I felt like this was probably a miscommunication, possibly a training mistake, so I called the office right as I drove out. The man on the phone gave me the highly professional and detailed explanation of “ya, no, we just can’t” Hopefully they can sort out this issue that probably results in hundreds of dollars of lost business from loyal customers such as myself.... or, at the very least, they can come up with some kind of explanation that is more detailed than: “ya, no, we just can’t” Gonna have to give them a bad rating, on account of the fact, in my case, their service is completely useless now.

Quite destructive wash. I have used Burnaby branch one multiple times, which were all great, and it was my first time using Terminal avenue one thinking it would be same. It was a mistake. I used the $8.00 wash, which I always do in the Burnaby branch. As soon as our car went in to the area where they shoot water on sides and top, my wife and I could sense the difference in the water pressure right away. My car's 2018 Mazda3 (not the strongest car there I know), but its still quite new, and there were no problems when I used the same service multiple times in Burnaby branch. And this is what happened when I got out of the wash: Side molding came off and disappeared. I have already inquired to the staff of this, but unfortunately they haven't found the part that should have 'washed away'. I have claimed for the damage, which isnt the largest amount, but I will see how they take responsibility on the result of their services. Im not that hopeful looking at others' comments though. I have gone through the reviews of this branch after this incident, and I do see multiple comments that the wash here is destructive as well. I should have checked that beforehand, and hope anyone do the same. There is a reason that there is more than one comment regarding the same issue, i wish Shine Auto does look into this soon enough.

They increased the price of tokens and some machines don't work and if they do, you only get 2 mins to maximize profits. Used to come here every morning to vaccum but management changes really did not help.

We wash our fleet of luxury sedans and SUV's there daily. I would recommend using the cheapest wash for $9.45 the other lava foam and upsells do basically nothing. I think it's a good deal for what you get even though they just raised the price of the extras by 50%. In fairness to Shine the cost of chemicals has gone up. So now we just use the basic wash and that seems to work great. I would like to suggest extra air dryers to do a better job of drying off the vehicles I would even pay extra for that option. They have a few more locations in Burnaby and Coquitlam that are cheaper than Terminal.

The manager also mentioned afterwards that they have a non compliance policy that they don't have to refund nor put through car again . After paying I was told my car was too muddy to enter the car wash. This place isn't equipped to simply spray a muddy vehicle down before entering the wash. No refund was provided because the office was closed. I was told to hold on to my receipt and come back for a wash when my vehicle wasn't so muddy. Essentially told to bring my clean car back for a car wash - doesn't make too much sense to me. -Get a pressure washer to spray down muddy vehicles. -Try to turn people away before they waste 10 minutes in line. -Figure out a way to give on the spot refunds regardless of time of day. Your business exists to clean vehicles. You should be equipped to clean a muddy vehicle. You could even charge more for it.
