Gets my ride cleaner than any other carwash in Bend. The pressurized air for helping dry and get water out of crevices is unique to Surf Thru. Wished they did a bit more thorough hand prep washing before going into the automated system but not so bad to take off a star. Also you will need to bring a couple clean towels as they are not provided however you can buy a decent microfiber one for a $1 from the vending machine with cash or a credit card. Share plan is reasonable for a 2 car home.

Pretty good, not great though. There was some green chemical dripping from one side ( cleaner or ?) of my truck, no harm done. Very fast, friendly staff and cost for this wash was 11 bucks. Great price!

On 11/13/18 at approximately 1:45pm the carwash malfunctioned while my car was already on the tracks. None of the equipment was functioning except the track system that was moving my car forward. The bay door was closed and as I got closer, it didn't seem that it would open so I began honking my horn to ask for assistance from an attendant, though nobody came to my aid. My car was violently forced thru the closed bay door by the track system causing me a whiplash related neck injury and a lot of damage to my vehicle. After this incident occured I pulled into a parking spot next to a vacuum and notified an attendant of what happened. I then waited 20+ minutes to speak with a manager. To my astonishment I was offered no apology or explanation of what happened. Instead I was met with hostility and vexation from Area Manager Steve Baum. I was shocked by his lack of civility in dealing with this sensitive issue. His approach to handling this situation lacked tact. In a subsequent phone conversation he doubted the injury I suffered and has yet to provide me with any of the insurance information for Surf Thru Express. Further, Steve has instructed both the assistant manager and manager Brandon to not provide me with any information and that they should refer me to him. Steve has since screened my calls and hasn't responded to my text requesting insurance information. I now have to pay a $500 deductible that will eventually be recovered by my insurance company when liability is determined, though it is frustrating that Steve is dragging his feet by ignoring my attempts of correspondence and consequently delaying the process to restore my property and causing me to (temporarily) shell out $500. I am a Lyft & Uber driver and will suffer lost wages as it will take 2 weeks or longer to repair my car. I am astonished by such poor business practices and the fundamental lack of human decency and respect on behalf of Steve Baum. It is appalling to me that this incident has been handled so carelessly by management given that these damages are actionable. I write this scathing review in hopes that the ownership of this company will take accountability for the mishandling of this incident and that we can come to an agreement of appropriate recompense without the need to initiate legal proceedings. Further, I hope Surf Thru Express will provide more scrupulous oversight of its business practices and employ more complete training of staff to avoid any further negligence that result in damages to persons and/or property.

The woman who greeted me was extremely nice. My front bumper was caked with bugs and she told me that if they weren't all off to just come around and drive through again. The drive through is really fun. The vacuums are free. It's a nice establishment.

I was supposed to receive the ultimate car wash but instead received the lowest level car wash. When I went back around, the cashier said the computer sometimes has a glitch and let me go back through. When I went back through it still didn’t give me the ultimate but instead gave me the mid level.

This is hands down the best car wash in Central Oregon. It always gets my vehicles (pickup and cars) clean. No other car washes can do this in Central Oregon. Regarding all the bad reviews, people need to understand that car washes have a risk of damage to cars. Always. Every single car wash anywhere. While the staff is more than willing to try and help, there really is no liability for them unless their machines malfunction. This is the industry standard for car washes.

Overall great experience. I bought a membership, because I drive for lyft, so it's nice to go in whenever I want and not pay $10 a pop. The express gate is slow though. The two ladies working had to make sure I was actually in the computer after my barcode had clearly been scanned (we all heard an audible beep). Not a big deal though....just some bugs to work out. The guys that actually work the carwash though are frankly, kind of rude, and all they do is point at the signing and give my car a half assed brush down before going through. So more training on that front as to actually be curteous to your customers.

I don’t know what’s going on with this car wash. I have been a member since they have come into town, at first they were using brushes and told me they will no longer be using them.. which is a bummer because they are needed. Now I go in this morning and the pressure washers have NO power you might as well spray my car with a garden hose. They said they made some changes.. I really do like this car wash but there is NO consistency and it almost seems like they don’t know what they are doing. BRING THE BRUSHES BACK

Always pay for the best wash and never gets my truck or suburban clean. The back always looks like it wasn’t even touched. So not worth it if you have large rigs. Maybe they wash smaller vehicles well?????????‍♀️

The self service vacuuming is really great - have one on each side of vehicle! The washing always looks good. I have used this car wash several times and have always had good experience. This time there was a problem -- While vacuuming, all door locks were activated and I was locked out with no keys, telephone, purse, etc. I went to the office, they offered to try to unlock doors, but was unsuccessful. I had to use their telephone to call my husband (35 miles away) to get AAA telephone number and our account number. I was offered a place to sit in the shade to wait the estimated 90 minute which turned out to be much less (thankfully). During this time the gentleman who assisted me, returned to check on me several times, offered water and was excellent in making sure everything went smoothly. It is really nice to know there are still businesses with employees who really care to make a difference. THANK YOU!

I loved it! We got in, got out, lickety split! Soap was an impressive show of colors. The wash was very thorough and while we vacuumed the car ourselves, it dried super quick and had no window streaks. Vacuume was powerful and made the job easy with great hoses. BAM!!

This car wash is awesome. The staff are friendly. The car wash is state of the art and gets the car very, very clean. The detail area is top notch. Vacuums are powerful and well placed. It has air hose with a nozzle to blow out your car. It has a floor mat cleaner (this is an extra $2 cash only) that works very, very well. This place is what a self service car wash should be and in my opinion is a bargain at $13. Once word of this place spreads around I think there will be lots of worried detail shops. For a self service car wash at this price point it is an excellent, excellent top of the line facility. Very happy with my experience.

Extremely slow to even get to the cashier because they were processing a membership with only one lane open. The site manager only made excuses. Went through the wash, pointing out bird doo on the windshield and a young lady with brush seemed confused and didn’t take care of. Had to go through (slow) intake process again but now, finally, the car is clean. Not sure if /when I’ll be back, don’t usually have a half hour to go through a “quick” car wash.

I've been through here several times and it still feels like a big city car wash attempting to get as many people through without caring much about the quality of the wash. Their customer service was better than the machinery, but unless you purchase a membership and have the time to run it through twice there are superior options in town.

Brought my new tacoma in for a wash and it just tore my hood up with 4 deep long scratches. Staff could care less. Have taken it to 2 other drive-thru car washes and did not get scratches like this.

Be careful of overly negative reviews as there are a variety of reasons they MIGHT be untruthful (competitor, fraudulent claim, vindictive customer) but who knows so try to be skeptical whether good/bad review. My experience has been quite good overall as the staff is helpful and attentive (for teens ;) and the FREE wipes/freshener are always available. My only advice for improvement is: the wash brushes on the passenger side OFTEN don't (or barely) contact the vehicle (full size truck) and sometimes one of the attendants upon entry can be lazy about applying the prewash. Otherwise...it's always clean, LOVE the rainbow suds, the vacs suck it good, and the facilities have NEVER been down when needed.

I signed up for the membership and was satisfied but then I needed to cancel the subscription because my car got ran over and has been in the shop for 3 weeks now. When I called I left a voice mail, and then called again when they never called me back. So I called again and they told me it was a mandatory 2 month subscription and that I could use it on another car instead. Except for the fact that I don't have another car, I've been in a rental. So they made me pay for the second month and then will allow me to cancel after, even though I couldn't use it once.

Update 5/27 - went to car wash again today and was very pleased to see that the brushes the attendants used were applied to the vehicles with loving care. The brushes made contact with the body and windows slow and with much attention. Great Job and great wash. Original post - I was very disappointed in this new car wash. I was given a gift card for car washes here for my birthday. When i pulled up to the employee washing area at the entrance to the wash, i was shocked that they came at me and my low mileage 1986 Mercedes 500se with wood backed brushes and commenced to wildly wash my windows bashing the wood against the window and body borders in the doors and at the front and rear glass. I told him to stop and he told me snipingly, 'this doesn't hurt the body'. Terrible service and terrible approach to car appearance maintenance. Straighten your act or move away

Employees should not be walking up to customers, within 2 feet of them, without a mask on. It's nice that they want to help customers in the self help line, but please wear a mask and don't expose your customers that are trying to avoid Covid - to an unmasked employee.

Subpar exterior wash, several missed spots. Vacuums had such little suction I had to go finish the inside of my car at another car wash. Wash was $18 and had to go pay more elsewhere to get my car actually clean. Would not recommend

I’m so disappointed with this place. It’s literally garbage. The people are rude, and right before you go into the actual wash the people that are supposed to scrub and spray your car just shoot water at your car and maybe touch your car with the brush like twice, not even... once you get out of the wash your first reaction will be, my car is dirty, and I just paid 14 dollars for it to be dirty. Cool. They didn’t give me any rags or the normal wipes that everyone gets so I couldn’t wipe down the inside of my car. Okay... then because you parked in the damn vacuum and clean up area you’d figure they can’t screw up even more. Well that was not the case. I was left with a vacuum that couldn’t even suck up the hair on my head if I tried.

If I could give zero stars I would. I love to support local businesses, however this is one I will never be returning to. After leaving the car wash, I stopped to get out to vacuum when I noticed both sides of my car had been completely scratched up. I immediately went to the front and requested to speak with a manager. I was then greeted by Jeff. Jeff took a look around and we both agreed the scratches were scuffs buffing them out would be the solution. Jeff attempted to hand buff, but to his dismay they wouldn't go away. He then wrote out a damage claim which I and a friend were present for. Jeff them informed me he would called me on Monday with details for the resolution. Monday came, no call. Tuesday came, no call. So at 4pm on Tuesday, I called. Jeff informed me he had been in a car accident and would be back to work on Thursday and to call him back then. To be completely honest, why was I chasing them down to begin with? If I had a customer that shared the same experience I did, I would be the one reaching out to them and not the other way around. Thursday came around, I called he was short and said he'd call me back. To my dismay again, he didn't call me back. Then Friday, today, I called (again) in which he informed me due to the scratch on the back of the car on the back of my car they decided to deny my claim. I openly admitted that the scratch on the back was my fault, I didn't not realize being honest and not want to take advantage would have me taken advantage of. This is when I got upset and Jeff informed that it's not their problem because they didn't do it. I then asked to speak with his superior, Thomas. Thomas, backed up Jeff and they weren't going to fix it. Here was there reasoning, the 5 people in front of you didn't complain. I then said to Thomas, isn't it possible that those 5 people in front of me just left after their car wash and didn't inspect their vehicle? Thomas agreed. I then said isn't it possible that because of the cinder on the road that maybe it's caking up on the foam pieces causing the scuffs. He also agreed. I then said, the how does it even make sense for you to deny my claim. Thomas said we aren't going to fix it. I was done being nice and got a bit temperamental. Can you blame me? Let's do the math. I washed my car at home the week before no scuffs. I go to a car wash the following week, suddenly scuffs EVERYWHERE. I think the evidence is pretty clear. My claim should have never been denied. I will never return here. I have not even owned this car for an entire year. I bought it brand new with 10 miles on it. Scuffs like this don't just happen. I plan to call the owner Todd Gall and inform him of what has occurred. I can only hope he will make it right.

Perfect for Central Oregon, either the dust and dirt in the summer or the snow and slush in winter will make your car dirty quick! This place is great! I have never used the car wash part but their high powered vaccumes and air nozzles are AMAZING. and it's only $2 to vacuum out your vehicle with no irritating time limits (unless ppl are waiting, then it's 5 min) like other automated vacuums. Just pull up, pay the attendent, grab 1 of about 20 nozzles and start vacuuming. I live in a very dusty area so having the ability to blow out my vents and other crevices and take my time on my vehicle is amazing.

Had crab apple yuk on my car, first time thru didnt get it, I went back they said because of the age of my paint it would be very difficult to get off. Went thru a second time, still on there... got out with a towel and some Mrs Meyers cleaner, guess what, it came of w/o struggle. I wont be back. If I wanted wash my own car in the winter I would have. I paid good $$ to have a machine do this. Red carpet i will be back, sorry i strayed...

Recommend this place for a quick car wash, friendly service, and getting the Ultimate package for $13 is a good deal. No need to get out of your car everyone comes to you, they scrub the vehicle with brushes getting the hard to get areas and caked on bug splatter (drove up from Cali).

Great service. Mediocre quality car wash. So many missed spots on my SUV. Even streaky dirty door panels. It's ok for a quicky in and out. But for a quality wash... I would rather spend my money wisely and do it right myself.

This car wash is wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and the yearly payment for unlimited ultimate car washes is a great deal. My car has never been scratched going through and when I was given the wrong wash I was aloud to go through again. And it’s the only car wash open until 9pm!

Even those this car wash is brand new, they charge $14-$18 but most cas washes in town who have better prices actually use a brush on your rear panel and bumpers, tires, decal, that is where road grime will not be removed simply by driving through. Last time through for me!

This place is a bargain. The staff is nice and the equipment always seems to clean well. The downside is that I haven't noticed a huge difference between the $8 package and the $13 package. Overall though I keep going and will continue to do so.

No 0 star option, after telling the worker where to grab and fold my mirrors was told they would take care of it and have done it before, then the kid nearly broke my mirror folding it in doing it a 180 degrees and leaving it half way out and at most vulnerable angle for it to be snapped off. Also I never get my 1/2 off receipts for my next wash after 10+ washes I’m pretty upset, especially when my girlfriend gets one every time.

Please do not go here! They don’t clean the brushes on a daily basis and when they do scratch your car they won’t take responsibility. We went through twice because the car was not clean after the first wash. Once our car was finally clean. We noticed two good sized scratches on our passenger doors parallel to each other as well as other scuff marks so we talked to the manager he filed our claim and said he would be back to us within the next day or two. Which he failed to do so we called the store and they had the assistant manager inform us that they would not reimburse us for the damages that their machine caused.

Ouch. I have only been reading all of these reviews within the last two to four months. You guys need to do something drastic to win back the public. I am not so sure I want to bring my car there. However, I will give it a try and change my review based on my experience. I am shocked how many people are so unhappy. It is not very appealing when I look a place up and see these kind of reviews.

So excited to have a surf thru in bend. I greatly appreciate the customer service, cashier was extremely nice and explained everything so well. Her name was Elizabeth or Isabel. Even though it was super busy when I went the employees didn't seem like they wanted to rush me through like other washes. LOVE how we get free goodies before we go through the wash. I will soon be purchasing a yearly plan because I loved the wash so much. The yearly plan is such a snag deal. The vaccums were great and overall loved the wash.

I've been thru a lot of washes and this is by far the BEST. Very professional from the uniformed employees to the superior equipment, Rain-X and Tire Shine a plus. Good job on the blowers, no need to dry your car, just drive away and enjoy the sparkle. Plenty of courtesy vacuums as well. Love the membership, just drive up, gate opens and you drive right in. Good job, thanks for coming to Bend. Open until 9 pm, what? How convenient!!

First time going since they opened. Guy who greated me was nice. I asked that my mirrors be pushed in so nothing happened. they pushed one side but not the other. my car came out just as dirty as it was before I went. won't be going back

I absolutely love this wash and refuse to go to any other drive thru wash in Bend. The prices are very fair, the lights and soap are fun to watch and the vacuuming stations are truly convenient. The vacuum stations even have air compressor-type nozzles for cleaning out cracks!!

Excited for the first time through, guess I should have read the reviews about not getting a clean car. I came in this morning (10/18/18) and once I got home I noticed that the entire top wasn’t clean. Also, the windshield had missed spots as well around the outer edges. I’d give a 5 star if the ones running the brush could do a better pre wash. It’s all about the pre wash. This looks like a great place, but if they can’t wash the car for the #1 option, then $13 is too much.

I asked the employee as I was entering the car wash if he would use the scrubber to get some oil off the side of my car, he did not remove it. The next day I noticed in the morning there was spots all over my windshield that was difficult to get off. I'm pretty sure it was the wax spray residue.

Never actually made it through. The track broke a few minutes before I pulled up. I felt bad for the cars that were stuck on the track and came out with soap all over them in hot temperatures. I'm glad I wasn't there 5 minutes earlier, I really don't have an experience to actually rate but I'll give it 5 stars because they didn't make us sit there, they directed us to the exit.

Surf Thru Car Wash is a new ‘Exterior’ car wash facility, not a ‘Full Serve’ car wash. Meaning you have to take care of any interior cleaning or final drying yourself. Such as, vacuuming, cleaning your windows and etc. Surf Thru Car Wash is nicely laid out so navigating the premises is straight forward. However, the car wash cannot be directly accessed from 27th Street. You must use the side street located at the corner where the new Mexican restaurant resides. The side street is quite congested with cars and trucks that are parked down both sides, hopefully that will change in the future, but I doubt it. Once at the Car Wash ingress you’ll need to make an immediate LEFT turn. Two lanes are provided, the right lane is for ‘Pre-Paid’ the left is for the cashier and new customers, without pre-paid. I purchased a Car Wash Pass, I can zoom right and the traffic gate lifts for immediate access, pretty cool. They offer several packages and appear to have 3 different car washes to choose from. Turning onto the conveyor is done via a tight, right-hand turn. Easily done in most cars and SUV’s. Long wheel base trucks might be a bit problematic. I drove my Chevy Diesel right on with no real issues. But I witnessed several who had to backup. Ideally, it would be a left-hand turn on to the conveyer. This way the conveyor is never out of view of the driver, it is easier, Just SWING WIDE. Each vehicle is prepped by two employees and the tunnel has excellent equipment and copious amounts of soaps, polishes and rinsing agents are used, the car exists nearly dry. I pulled into a covered vacuum parking spot to vacuum and clean the interior of my car. Compressed air was also provided making interior cleaning that much easier. Surf Thru Car Wash is setup to ‘process’ cars in a very timely fashion. Even when busy, it appears that they can wash 100 to 125 cars per hour. All the other car washes in Bend seem to have a real problem with that. I am NOT affiliated, in any way, with Surf Thru Car Wash, however, I have extensive experience in the industry. 

The service was good, but the wash quality was horrible. We went through the first time and it did not wash the back of our car at all. Went through again after the manager noticed the bad wash job and have us a second run through. Car washed severely scratched paint and the owner would not fix the damage nor believe that it happened. Do not recommend this car wash! Not only is your response below unprofessional, apparently this companies idea of quality service does not include accepting responsibility for damaging vehicles. Let this be a warning to all, stay clear of this car wash !

Does not do a thorough wash. Hard on mirrors even when turned in. Equipment forces them back out. I have the computer chip but often wait to get through and for some reason the wash changes 1 time Epic next time Express. Vacuum to high for short people. Never assistance in the area.

Standard Central Oregon car wasj but with attendants still primarily self service requiring you to vacuum, clean windows inside and out, and dry yourself all for the same price you'd pay elsewhere for full service. I'll not visit again soon, until snow flys.

I would put 0 but I they won't let me. $13 for a shotty job (wheels were filthy, back was dirty, had to vacuum my own car, and had to wipe it down). The vacuum I used was already broken and when I moved my car the next one still didn't work well. I don't expect too much from a drive through but was still disappointed. Go to Red Carpet!

Seems like such an awesome car wash and it definitely should be... but been through it like... 5 times now with 2 different rides thinking it's been a fluke, but the cars just never get clean. They do have free vacuums and even a free cup of coffee. People are friendly. It's new and it all looks high tech, but the wash doesn't clean the car, doesn't do a good job on wheels, doesn't blow dry water away. If you get the most expensive wash (think its $19 cant remember though) the wax leaves a film on everything. Windows and rear-view mirrors = white film and against black cars its noticeable too. Anyhow, great place, nice people and amenities - sucks that the car wash doesn't work at all.

I have been here 3 times, each time I have been met with the same less than exceptional service. Every time I have been here I pay for the “Extreme” service, upon going through none of the “Extreme” services are rendered. No problem right, just go through again? Same thing happens, mind you the line is long so each time it takes forever just to re-enter the wash line. Their solution is to try it again, and again, and again at the expense of the wear and tear on my car. No thank you. They will take your name and phone number as “credit” for next time, if you are willing to try again. They could not even run my card to refund me. I wonder how many people do not even realize they are not getting what they pay for.

Save your money and wash your own car. I had to go through the car wash twice because my car was still dirty after the first time going through. Even after the second time going through, I still had to go home and clean my car because there was a bunch of dirt all over the right side of the vehicle. Even better, when I was cleaning off the leftover dirt on my brand new Jeep that I just bought one month ago, I noticed the weather strip on the drivers side door was melted in two spots! I will never go back to this car wash. Not only did it cause damage to my car it coudn't even get it halfway clean. Don't go!

I have been a member for 4 months. In that time I have had the wrong wash multiple times, I was stuck inside for about two minutes one time. The machine just stopped moving. Today was the end for me. I drove my car towards the wash entry. The young man did not bother directing my car until it crashed into the rail on the driver front wheel. It knocked of my hubcap. The young man handed me the hubcap without apology. I understand that there is risk using this machinery. But the approach you can not see where you are supposed to be driving. The young man was not attentive and my car got damaged. Yes, minor damage. But this is a brand new 2021 car. There are other places you can wash your car, I will be using those from now on.

We have taken both of our cars through once a week since Christmas and have not once been at all impressed, just a marginal wash job. Okay where do I start off, about 4 months ago I got the unlimited car was for 29.99 absolutely loved the idea cause it was new to bend Oregon and I have kids so it was a great idea for my car and suv. Then the reality of the establishment hit. One, the employees missed half my front 2 out of 4 times I always went in then I would still have bugs on my front when I was done then I would have to constantly go in and was thrown attitude by all the employees cause I didn’t have it done correct. The manager on duty always had a issue with helping me and would always throw me attitude when I wasn’t being helped and ignored. So I lowered my membership to express and then the same thing happened so I finally decided to cancel 4 days ago and was told by a female employee it was canceled in time to not get charged for this. And this morning at 5:17am I was charged 19.99 for the membership I canceled so I called and no one could find a resolution without being rude to me and telling me the cancellation didn’t go threw but they did everything in there part correctly. The manager kept telling me to call Vanessa but as a customer who already cancelled shouldn’t have to go around calling people and getting people to cancel it if they didn’t do it correctly the first time. And he was very rude to me by not understanding where I was coming from which I will be calling corporate and communicating the horrible service of this establishment since one day I do hope to get a membership again but with the correct service and customer service we deserve.

Decent rotor brush style car wash. Three options of wash available. We chose the Ultimate which includes a dose of wax, tire wash, Rain-x and super foam. The Express and Epic are the other two. No tire wash or super foam on this one. Save 3 bucks and get the Epic. Car wasn't super clean (it was very dirty and had caked on mud from camping) and the tire cleaner didn't work very well. But what can you really expect from a machine wash? They do hit the windshield, grill and sides with brushes though...Overall, not bad but I wasn't wowed...

I started going to Surf Thru when they opened. I think their staff are very friendly and helpful. My car comes out clean and on occasion when there are lots of bugs in the front they give me a free rewash. I love this car wash and won’t go to any other car washes now. It is a real plus to have free vacuums. It doesn’t take long to go through the wash and lines move quickly. This car wash has been a plus for the east side. Keep up the good work!

Your Bend location blew a cover off my car and the manager didn’t bother searching for the part for (by his own admission) 2 weeks despite us contacting the store almost immediately after it happened and 6 more follow up calls. Staff totally irresponsible, unresponsive and never returned calls even when they said they would. Tried to speak with anyone with some responsibility and professionalism and that’s a no go. I am considering small claims at this point. Bad start for a company new to our small community. Word travels fast.

I’ve always had a great experience with this particular car wash. Especially because it was new to the Eastside of Bend. Always great promotions and service. Although I’ve ran into a certain situation with having a 7 month long membership but unfortunately had to cancel my credit card due to fraud. (Not from the car wash) When I went to proceed my membership because I had a new card number. I was originally on the transferable share card which was the extreme. I’ve only ever paid $30 and loved it. But when I came back to change cards. They said that my membership was now $45 a month for the extreme for a shared card. Not sure if I was originally grandfathered in or if policy changed but my favorite part about the extreme was a better wash with wax and tire shine for my tires.. I spoke with a young gentleman running membership desk and he didn’t really have an answer for me.

I came here after getting given a certificate for a free wash from Kendall Toyota (since their wash is broken). The staff was great, very polite and quick. The washing equipment itself doesn't seem to work well. I have a brand new stock Tacoma and it missed the entire passenger side of my vehicle. I could see the washer spinning over there, but it never touched the side of my truck. Understandably this happens with big lift kits that mess up their sensors, but a totally stock small pickup should get cleaned. The good news is my truck will get washed, the bad news is now I have to do it by hand to make it not look terrible.

I was met by a friendly staff member who offered one of the following free - air freshener, dash wipes, garbage bag - she gave me all three! The wash was good, the vacuums are strong and the nozzles stay put. What blew me away were all of the extras this place had. First, they have sinks so I can get my own cloths wet. Second, they had the most amazing pressurized air guns for getting all of those pesky tiny bits of dirt out of the many crevices of your car. Amazing! Next, they offered the usual coin-op cleaning items. Bonus was the mat washing machine. Adding to the experience, most of the vacuum bays are in the shade, making it a much better experience than vacuuming my car out in the blazing high desert sun. Other amenities - handicap bays, bathrooms, and drinks. They even offer a monthly plan for multi-car families. Surf Thru, I commend you for perfecting the car washing experience!

The worst wash job I have ever had! Went on Mon 1/20 I asked an attendant to wash the back off before going through the wash. The front and back look like no soap or water was used. The auto wash should have done a better job had the attendants pre washed . Thanks but no thanks ! I would like my money back so I can go somewhere else!!

I’ve asked each time for the attendees to scrub with a brush and I just get ignored. I have written complaints through there web site with no response. Even though it’s convenient from my house. Put a nice scratch across the back of my brand new RAV4. Awesome. Noticed scratches on my girlfriends car after she went there too. And it's not a scratch like someone keyed my car. It's a big soft splotchy scratch that couldn't be buffed out without using a scratch removing compound. Never returning to a non touchless wash.

They missed the front and side of my car. I had to go home and wash my car. I have a card that was purchased for me, it has 4 more washes on it...not sure I’ll use them, since I have to wash the car anyway. This is not the first time. After reading other reviews, I see that we can get a re-wash. Do we go to the pre-paid side so we don’t have to wait in the long line? I know you are trying your best, I think the issue is how the hand brushes are used, or not used. The people are always friendly. Just not sure there is attention to detail.

Signed up for unlimited membership, had car damaged in wash, took over 6 months to get repairs due to having to check in every week just to be told I will get a phone call from manager when he is in. Never got called. Went in recently to cancel membership and get refund and was told manager would call me to verify cancellation and issue refund. Still to this day i never got that call. Went in 4 days ago to check up on cancellation and finally spoke to manager who did some typing on computer and took my membership card, then told me my refund would take up to two days to post to my card. It is now Monday and still no money. This company has a BAD reputation of returning calls no matter what the circumstances, and misplacing customers complaints. Don't settle with, "A manager will call you soon." It won't happen. And if you have any issues with them, don't expect them to show any motivation to fix the problem. Constant harassment and pestering is the only way to get action.

My truck wasn't that clean afterwards...would have been better off and saved money to pay someone to hand wash it. Not worth the money in my opinion unless you have a membership and go often.

Yeah the vacuums could be a little stronger but they are also free which is a big plus and their vent sent fresheners work great as well when your heater is on... Even on the RARE occasion that the wash needs to be shut down for service, it takes me 10 minutes to get through this wash. On a normal day I can swing through, get a solid scrub down, vacuum inside, wipe the dash down and grab an airfreshner in 5 minutes. Buy the monthly plan, it’s worth the $. I’d give this wash ten stars if I could.

I went to this car wash this week. I bought the $18.00 car wash. Went thru the first time specifically stating that I needed my wheels done and that my bumpers from my trip the previous evening. After my first run thru I noticed they didn't get my wheels bumper or window. I went back thru not one but 2 more times! These pictures are after 3 times thru and still left with bugs on my bumper and window! The gal informed me they are "not allowed to use the brush anything but glass so it dosent scratch anything". My mind is blown that after $18.00 and 3 runs thru my car is still dirty. So I had to go to a manual wash car wash to get the job done. We will not be back.

I have had a membership since they first opened, the unlimited ultimate. The first few months it was awesome, my car always came out way cleaner than other washes in town. The free vacuum with air hoses (when they work) is cool too. But like all the other automatic car washes they speed up the Machine when they are busy. On top of this the employees do the same thing when they are busy, you might be luck and one does a full pre-soak down one side. Anyway it’s no longer worth the money I paid every month as my car does not come out clean and I don’t have time during their non-busy hours to go there. Sad, they almost had something.

They don't wet the car before scrubbing with dry brushes! Stay away from here if you care at all about your car! They just start scrubbing cars covered in cinders WITHOUT hosing the car down first...they only spray after you have entered the car wash. The wash itself is the worst in town and leaves dirt all over. The very young, inexperienced staff does not care or know what they are doing. Go elsewhere!

I asked both the clerk and the broom guy to concentrate on the headlights because of the dirt .. they did not , car was still filthy with a huge mud streak on the headlight.. I went thru again and asked the clerk again if you can have them concentrate on the headlights .. the clerk did not apologize are say a thing but walk over the the washers , and said something to them while I was in line ..,I then asked the washers to concentrate on the headlights again,.. they did not , one pass and the one of them slapped the broom so hard on the windshield I thought it was going to break .. I parked in the corral the car was still filthy and the mud streak was still on the headlight .. I called over the supervisor who was super friendly and ask if you would pay 20 dollars for the job the wash did .. He inspected the car and pointed out missed spots and said I should go in again .. he didn’t know I already went twice .. I told him that I told everyone to concentrate on the headlight , I took a kleenex and lightly touch the mud streak which came off easily ,, other spots removed easily as well .. not like it was cake on .. the supervisor took my name to get another free wash in next visit … the supervisor was very pleasant but there will not be a next time .. the line was huge , I did not go back in a third time but took pictures of still dirty car after going thru twice

CAR WASHERS BEWARE. This was such a bad experience I don't really know where to start. I had just purchased a new (to me) vehicle a couple weeks prior to running through the wash. It had an amazing detail and a perfect polish on black paint but obviously was dirty. I normally only go through touchless car washes, and to be honest don't understand why all automatic car washes aren't touchless. So the first question I asked upon driving up to the customer service kiosk is if the car wash was touchless because I couldn't tell from the street. I was informed, yes it was. However upon pulling up to the actual enclosed car wash section, I could clearly tell it was NOT touchless. Immediately 2 men starting brushing the front of the car, in a side to side motion (the opposite direction of the automatic brushes). I was not terribly concerned yet because after all, I had decent experiences with normal brush style automatic car washes such as the Red Carpet or Gorilla here in Bend. Once in the middle of the wash, I was surprised at how little liquid was being used and how incredibly fast the brushes were moving. But again, I was thinking this is a pretty new facility and they must know how to safely, properly clean a car. I could see another shiny black vehicle in front of me that looked fine so I was on my way, thinking the task at hand was complete. To my incredible dismay once getting the vehicle home, it was obvious this was a car wash gone wrong. There were numerous places on the vehicle where I could drag and catch a fingernail in a scratch, a telltale sign the scratch had gone through the clearcoat. Also, the entire vehicle was now covered in long arcing swirls and microscratches. Every clear morning we have with the sun rising from the East and shining on the vehicle in the driveway, I am reminded of this regretful car wash with the sun showing off the swirls and scratches just right. To be clear, most of the swirls and microscratches will come out with a full polish and wax, but that is a $200+ expense that would not have been incurred if it wasn't for this car wash. There are a couple small scratches that I am probably left with forever unless the vehicle was to have major paint correction or be repainted. I did take the vehicle back to Surf-Thru Express a day or two later to show what happened. A gentleman took pictures, filled out a claim report and mentioned that ownership (located in California) would get back to me. Weeks passed, I never heard anything. Which tells me they just don't care. The weirdest thing about the whole experience is that I had forgotten my wallet but was ushered in for free. I offered to come back and pay but the girl handling payments said don't worry about it. When filling out the claim, they acted like this was a major obstacle. I can't imagine why, at the end of the day this car wash is responsible for damages and frustration that would not have happened if I had just stuck with my guns and went through a different car wash. I cannot recommend this facility at all, wish I had never gone, they did not follow through on a chance to make it right and overall I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the whole ordeal.

After their car wash clearly and obviously damaged my Escalade as the cameras will show, several employees including myself to pictures of the damage. I filled out the insurance form while one of their employees attempted to tape on my overhead rear brake light so I could go to work. 2 months later after hearing nothing back from the slackers, I called and spoke to someone who told me a manager would be in contact with me. Welp, here we are three months later and nothing. There's plenty of car washes in town that will honor their work and their word. This place is not one of them!

This would be five stars. Members need there own lane get rid of the self pay. To many times cashier lane goes faster because of how stupid people are with machines. Also the self pay has broken to many times and you cone off that lane where not even member can go through. At least have a A Frame saying members only when broken.

Im pretty disappointed for it being so new. The car wash tends to leave parts of my car dirty. They will however send you through the was again. The vacuums are pretty great. Smaller attachments and more suction gets more of the hard to reach places!

Since they have changed from hand brushing to hand spray washing at the entry cars do not come out clean.

This place is awful. Underwhelming performance and worse customer service. I paid for an ultimate wash, received the basic express option. The kid doing the “pre washing” wasn’t paying any attention to where he was spraying or the next car as he waved the next car in line in. Mostly, he sprayed the ground and the bushes. And, the car wash scratched the roof of my vehicle. Reply to Ownership reply: Thanks for your response. I did report the scratches on the roof, but it was 2 days later and the cashier told me that because I had left the lot that they weren’t responsible. The scratches weren’t there before I went through the car wash. Also, as far as your claim that you have washed thousands of vehicles without damage, you only have to read a handful of reviews to see more unhappy customers reporting damage done by your wash.

Horrible!!! It was so bad that they sent me back through a second time and it did not make a difference. I finally just left. The two employees that brush down the vehicle before it is sent through the tunnel need some training to focus on the areas the actual wash isn't going to get, such as around the wheel wells, body lines and contours in the hood and sides and the running boards. Pretty sad. I would highly recommend Sud n Shine on the south end of Bend or Empire car wash on the north for a much better end result.

"Manager" Brandon is a liar. He does not know how to run the company at all. Very rude to customers and seems like he doesn't know what he's doing. I hope the higher ups crack down on him. Go elsewhere to wash your car. Don't come here unless you want a horrible wash where your car comes out with a billion scratches while still dirty and you deal with possibly the worst manager ever. Family and friends have had similar experiences. Will never be returning.

Tried this car wash for the second and last time. Cashier was friendly and great, but it’s when you get to the wash bay. We paid for the most expensive wash (again) and only half of the car was sprayed with soap by the worker, the other half of the car was sprayed with soap and brushed before we went through the machine. When asked about it they guy said well I guess you can just come through. Once shame on them twice shame on me. Won’t be going back!!

This place has the best vacuuming area. Love the air guns for blowing out crevices. Unfortunately like most automatic washes the people at the beginning need to scrub the front end better. I've ran through twice and still had bugs on the front. And I wash weekly so it's not like there's a ton there that have sat forever.

Out of the 5 employees we encountered 4 didn’t have face mask on or they were using them as chin straps! The car wash broke while we were inside and had to wait for them to fix it. In addition our car is covered in soap suds and barley even clean. Will not be returning! This is why covid-19 keeps spreading.

Not impressed. Missed the entire back of the car and I only have a small size SUV. Barely touched the dirt and it came off with my finger but their machine didn't touch it. Then the vacuums had NO suction whatsoever. Not impressed for $13, and I left with a dirty car. Oh and I think it broke my rear windshield wiper. Found it dangling in the back when I went to vacuum. Of course they'll say "not liable". What else is new in a country where everything is at your own risk and no business takes a accountability. Don't go here! You'd be better off using the hose in your driveway and a cheap vacuum. ????????

I came for a car wash and I handed them a 20$ and they didn’t have change for me so they gave me a voucher for 9.00$ and I didn’t know my own change had a expiration date and when I came through again they didn’t want to honor the voucher. Horrible management and basically kept my change! DONT COME HERE
