I do repairs for my Toyota At Heffner Toyota now for around a year always i am Happy with work Theo do . Once I took my Tacoma to Automotive Edge on Victoria street for wheel inlinement they wanted $1000 for it I said no , I took the Tacoma to Heffner Toyota they Did the wheel inlinment for $270 .and a few cents Well done.

Was in Heffner Toyota for the first time today, getting a warranty airbag replacement for my 07' Corolla, and was very impressed. The work was done quickly, Robert, my service adviser was professional and friendly. The complementary coffee and cookie from their in house cafe, and comfortable and quiet seating area really made the 1 hour stay enjoyable. I do most maintenance on my own, but will definitely be returning here if I need anything done.

Edit #1: Nick Heffner has been in touch with me and has been extremely helpful and very polite in ensuring my concerns with my vehicle are being looked into and will be addressed. He's also looking into the concerning experience that I've had with some of the staff mentioned in my original review. Bumping up a star on this review as I was extremely pleased to hear from him and for his help, and once we've wrapped everything up I will update the review again to reflect the final outcome! ---------------------------- These guys are on a sliding scale with me, and unfortunately it's continuing to slide downwards. Let's take a look at my Sales/Service experiences so far: Sales: ------------ Bought the car here after getting frustrated to no end with my old car dealer who didn't care about their customers. It was time for something new, and my wife was always happy with her car from Heffners, so it was time to become "part of the family" as the commercials say. Sales experience was overall decent, but was unimpressed when I was told that PPF and Tint are generally included in leased vehicles (i.e. hinting it would be thrown in if I went for the lease over the finance). I leased, and suddenly these became paid upgrades if I wanted them. Very disappointed - went out and got my own paint film applied at a lower cost than Heffner's, and still to this day do not have tint as it really seemed like it was going to be thrown into my purchase and it just isn't in my personal budget now. Disappointed overall that even something as small as a $100 trunk mat had no flexibility to be thrown in on a $36k car. Kia, the cheapest car maker of them all, threw in lots of little goodies when I bought the last car from them and it made me feel great as a new customer (for stuff that's literally no cost to them). Service: ------------ My one car seat has a defect. I was initially told this was a "feature" of the car (an interesting feature I say), but any pictures online will prove otherwise, as will the experience of many others online who have the same defect and are having it fixed. Got a service appointment, they agreed it was a defect and would replace it, and within a week a new one was installed. I was impressed at the fast turnaround and friendly staff I talked to along the way. Picked up the car, and the new one has the exact same defect except worse! It's so noticeable I'm almost insulted they wasted our time having us bring it in and be without the car while they took a bad thing and made it worse. I emailed back and was told it would be reviewed with the manager and I'd get a call. That was now almost 3 weeks ago and I'm still sitting in the dark. Not even a friendly "we're still looking into it" email along the way or anything. I think I've actually been completely forgotten about, but I'll wait and see until I hit the 1 month mark. During this time, they also quoted my wife $1600 for a $600 brake job anywhere else in town, and told my parents their tires were completely worn out when several independent tire shops in town confirmed over 50% tread remaining on the tires. Service here seems shameful - all my first impressions after buying the car of my own service, my wife's service, and my parent's service, have made me start to regret picking Heffners. It seems they're just in it for the money - I'm not feeling like I'm "part of the family", but maybe I've just spent too much of my life working in the service industry myself. Overall: ------------ Tread carefully here is all I can say. My first impressions are woeful, but I'm optimistic things can change. Either that or the place has just gone downhill from what it used to be 5-10 years ago. I will update this review as time goes on as I'm a very active reviewer and will be using Heffner for the remainder of service on my car while it's under warranty.

The Sales, Service and Customer experience are exceptional with Kevin & the family at Heffner Toyota. This is my families 3rd vehicle with Heffner Toyota. I highly recommend you seek out Kevin Rego because he made the switch from the family Toyota Camry to the Toyota Tundra possible. I have always wanted a truck in reality there was too many options to choose from and too many different price points. How do you choose? Kevin helped do what was best for me in a knowledgeable and friendly way. I also appreciated his no pressure Sales strategy. Just purchased a new Toyota 4runner from Hefner Toyota. I dealt with Kevin Rego who was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, professional and easy to talk to. Kevin kept me informed step by step as we waited for the vehicle to be delivered from Japan. A somewhat lengthy process ( 7 weeks) but well worth the wait. My experience at Heffner was top notch. No pressure sales; relaxed atmosphere; knowledgeable salesperson. Melissa Young was our salesperson and she was awesome. We started a conversation about a purchase and engaged for several weeks over email. Her responses were timely and informative. Never pressured us to buy. When I brought my wife in for a test drive she felt so comfortable with Melissa that she raved about her. No offence to other salespeople but when a salesperson says after a test drive, "so on a scale from 1-5 on whether you'll be this car, what number are you right now?' Total turn-off. Melissa NEVER pressured about sales. She was of service from beginning to end. Toyota - you don't want to lose this saleswoman. I can only imagine women coming to purchase a car would want to work with Melissa - she provides a level of comfort rarely seen in these sales contexts. Buy your vehicle at Heffner, folks. You won't regret it. We bought a RAV4 XLE Premium SUV. We're loving it. Oh, and the last thing Melissa said to me when I picked up the vehicle this week, "come in anytime if you have questions about how to set up your phone or electronics." I trust that she will be true to her word!

Called the service department in June to schedule a Service 1 appointment. Due to COVID they were able to schedule me on July 24. On the call, the lady that I was talking to she checked in their system and assured me that the Service 1 will be free of charge due to the extended warranty that I got when I purchased the vehicle. When I got there the front desk girl told me that warranty has expired on July 7 (was valid for 4 years or 80.000K - I purchased the vehicle in July 2016 and I have only 73.000K on the car). I explained her that I was not able to control Heffner schedule and the appointment that I was trying to make was back in June. Without hesitation she suggested me to use other garage business in town if what they offer me doesn't suit me. Heffner Toyota don't bother answering my review and, NO, I don't want to contact you to discuss other details. I will definitely going to find another garage to look after my car.

I took my Lexus to be repaired at the collision center after I was rear-ended. The staff are very friendly and personable. It was estimated 3 days for repair and was ready in 2 days! Looks fantastic! I noticed the car was very shiny when I walked over to it, and when I opened the door I could not believe how clean it was inside! I actually had to look three times to be sure I was getting inside the right car! They washed the outside for me and cleaned the inside. I did not ask to have this done and can you imagine the delight I had when I opened the door! Thank you very much for the great service and care you put into my vehicle! I appreciate it so much! This was my first time coming here so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have a tC and this Service centre is the best I’ve seen. They’re terrific, not pushy on extra sales and the cafe is fantastic. Don’t trust their warranty and diagnostic, I changed my front right cv axle shaft a few months ago and their was a problem with it again. When I went there they said their is a problem with the left one. I said it’s okay change the left one. I read diagnostic, the part they highlighted but I did not read the whole page. The page said that it is recommend that change both sides should be changed. When I left my car to be fixed they said come back in three hours, but when I came back after one hour and they said it’s fixed. I don’t think they changed anything because I feel zero difference in the car. I still have a problem with my right side. I called them to let them know, but they said it is a problem with my right side, but because I drove over 40 000 km their is no warranty left. I just lost more then 900 dollars for nothing.

This place is a joke. I bought my car here and they all happy dealer when selling but when I went to my 1st oil change after the oil change is done and went to pay they were like we don’t take AMEX. (Even a corner store takes AMEX) I never carry any other card and all their manager can tell me to go home get another way of payment so they will release the car. He didn’t even get me the option to use their shuttle until I tell him how do you expect me to go home. This place is a black mark for Toyota Canada. They don’t even provide refreshments for customer. Very cheap business.

This facility is bad at providing appointments for viewing cars. A person by name Brian called me from the preowned car department, i.e. after I made an online enquiry, however he was very rude and didn't show any inclination in selling me a car. Initially an appointment was setup to view a Sienna and he cancelled it at the last minute of viewing the car in the 2nd week of July 2020. He promised to call me back and today is Aug 27th and still waiting for the appointment. Anyway, I ended up buying a car at a different Toyota showroom.

White Glove Service! I am thrilled with my experience at Heffner Toyota. I dealt with Stuart and from start to finish, I was treated with respect and patience. Buying a car is a huge decision! This dealership is great! I took my vehicle in for an oil change and to do a complete inspection. I expected they would find all kinds of things wrong with the car and I would have a hefty bill. To my surprise, they told me all it needed was some kind of filter and they called to see if I wanted them to go ahead the change it. Had an amazing experience from servicing our old Camry with Jason, Ron and the team going above and beyond to troubleshoot the issue, including using their personal vehicle to investigate. Once it was confirmed we needed to purchase a new car, the service team was fantastic and provided a credit for spending so much to try and troubleshoot with no luck. I have never seen that before and it was the best customer service I have ever had with a car! Once we needed a new car, Karen S. took good care of us. Answering all of our questions, helping us find a car to fit our needs as well as our budget and make the purchase as easy and enjoyable as possible! We scheduled a test drive through Jerry Smith and ended up buying the car we test drove an hour later! Jerry was fantastic, as was the manager Jeff, and the financial services manager, Sarah. Very disappointed with Toyota customer service. Bought a brand new 2018 Toyota Sienna Van. When we first got the van, we knew there was something wrong with the tires which caused the rumbling noise when driving. Booked appointment for services, got in and told us everything was fine, then we came back three times again explaining the noises and finally they found out that the tires were uneven due to manufacture defect tires. We took our car to Costco to examine (We have to towed the van because we got a nail on it which Toyota refused to patch them), and they said run-flat tires should not be this worn off so quickly and uneven tires less than 50km. We were only at 45km! These caused is from a manufacturer car alignment defect which Toyota services provide. They sold us four defect manufacture tires made from Bridgestone which Bridgestone is not doing anything about it nor Toyota considering we just bought the car less than a year. I believed as a car dealer policy, defect manufacture car alignment service should take into consideration and resolve the issue fairly and promptly. We, as consumers, should not leave these manufacturers to do what they want. Supporting a company by buying vehicles from a company that conducts business this way is a mistake that misleads us all. Do NOT buy from Toyota or bring your car service here. Please read all reviews before making your decisions. I run a business of my own, and I don't have all the time to sit around to write reviews, but when it comes to situations that I hope another won't fall in the same condition as I'm now, I need to spread the words and review out there. My daughter bought her first car from the used car section. The day we picked it up the engine light came on and the sales guy said just drive it and if it doesn't go off to bring it back. It didn't go off so we had to bring it in to find out they don't service that make at the dealership and it had to be sent out to a different garage. There was a major problem with the car which Heffner did pay for but I don't think it was fixed properly and they just wanted to pay for the least amount of repair. She had problems with the turbos since day one and the best thing was to get rid of it. I will never go back to Heffner Toyota because they were not honest and didn't seem to care about providing good customer service from the beginning!!

Turn around from test drive to ownership was quick and simple. The vehicle was in good shape and shiny when received. Getting a second set of keys may seem like a little thing but it was greatly appreciated. Trevor was calm and friendly to deal with. I'm new to driving a Toyota and I wished I asked more questions, but that's on me. Signing two forms that I wasn't adding on the paint and rust protection was a bit much. I used to exclusively service my Tacomas at this location and was a massive fan until Jason in the service department gave me a terrible experience and I won't be returning back. Context: I had a closer shop run a diagnostic when my check engine light came on and found my rear o2 sensor had to be replaced. As usual, I went to Heffner to have the work done and had a terrible experience. I gave them the code, told them the back story and booked my appointment to have it replaced. I left work early and had my s/o follow me down to leave the truck for any work. When we arrived, I had to pay $150 for their diagnostic to tell me I was correct. This bugged me but mechanics have to get paid so fair enough. What really set me off was that they didn't have the part on hand despite me telling them the issue. Aka my s/o and I both left work early for nothing. Next Jason quoted me $300 for the part and 2 hours at $150 an hour to change the o2 sensor. I googled the part, picked it up from the London location for $198 and changed it myself in 13 minutes with a single wrench. I know nothing about cars and solved this on 13 minutes. This type of dishonesty is what gives mechanics a bad wrap and this shop is one I'll never go back to.

He gave some promises for better deals for the future. I may edit my review if he doesn't keep his promises. Only problem I had was the lead time. I wish I could have had the car earlier. It took 4 days to receive it even thought the car was in their inventory. This 4 days cost me some money (I had to rent a car for myself)

This was my worst used car buying experience ever. From test driving and having the sales rep insist he come and go his way, to being told not to email him if I want a response in any sort of timely manner, to receiving the incorrect car mats, the whole experience was not good. And then afterwards when I found even more issues with the vehicle, my sales rep chose to ignore most and didn't even have the decency to acknowledge them or provide any sort of solution. This included my rear window defrost having a broken area and the door upholstery coming off the door and the vehicle making odd vibrations and noise with the windows down. If I had got it cheap I might have been able to overlook but I paid on the higher end of the scale for my make and model which was only 2 years old. Wont buy used here ever again. Whats worse is i recieved more follow up and customer service for my oil change than I did on the purchase of the vehicle. After posting this review I got an email saying to email them back again if I wanted someone to contact me?!?!? Wouldnt great customer service have reached out proactively to see if they couldn't help after spending over $20,000. I wont recommend or shop here again.

Poor customer care and service. Sad quality. Dealership and Toyota point fingers at each other neither taking responsibility and addressing manufacturing defect while wasting my time and suggesting that i rent a vehicle while they drag their feet plugging their quality control holes at my expense and get nothing done again. This brand new vehicles was soaking wet with heavily fogged windows (visibility and safety concern) and smelling like wet dog from day one. Heffner service is suggesting it’s not manufacturing defect.

If you have a Toyota product stay away from Heffner Toyota, they are crooks!!!!!! I had them install a brand new transmission for $7000 and now a couple months later, I have a leak where the front transfer case bolts to the transmission and also they tell me I have to replace the right axleshaft because the boot is split. The want me to now pay for the transmission removal again to fix the leak!!! They must really be hurting for money if they are damaging vehicles on purpose just to get the work for their techs! People, stay away from them! When I talked to the manager, Glen, he said they would be willing to pay for half of the removal which is going to cost 10 hours labor which I already paid for, like they are doing me a favor?! They do not honour their warranty at all. I’ve had issues with the transmission among other things since the transmission repair. BBB here I come! I will spend the money and take them to small claims court as well. Heffner will not get away with this. Stay tuned!!!!!

Jan2019 Update: Steve Heffner was responsive, polite, helpful and fixed the door handle. Thank you Steve! Glad it got sorted out and wish it was easier for all parties. Some things go well here (friendliness, pick ups/drop offs, wifi, coffee) but the service needs improving. They don’t listen well so you have to explain a lot or ask to speak to a manager, takes them days to return your multiple calls and refuse to fix damage they cause. Brought my car in with zero problems on door handle. Intake also didn’t document or notice it. On pick up, it’s all torn up and cuts my finger. Call them immediately and leave voicemails, takes them days to call back and now they say this is wear and tear and they didn’t do this. Say what?? C’mon, a decent business admits their error and tries to fix it. Update: Manager Julio calls me back and just states, “we’re not going to fix this.” I ask to speak to someone more senior and he puts me to his voicemail. Very unprofessional. I’ve left a message with Steve Heffner.

Originally had taken my car to Guelph Toyota (BIG MISTAKE) to see what the issue could be with my engine, as my car was only one year old and in new condition and should have been covered under my warranty. They immediately accused me of improper revving and refused to take any responsibility. I realized that I needed a second opinion and so I went to Heffner Toyota. Immediately I was impressed with how they treated me and offered to do a full diagnostics. GREG was awesome and the engine had been completely fixed without me spending a dime on it. My wife and I are looking for a new minivan. September 2nd we went shopping. We parked in the lot right in front of the front door. I use a wheelchair and the other spot was taken by someone with no permit. We were going to tell somebody in the dealership about someone using the "waiting spot" but after 5 to 7 minutes not one person had approached us. Multiple people who worked at the dealership seemed to be aware we were in the showroom.None made any effort to acknowledge us. My wife even spent a couple minutes sitting inside the Sienna. As a customer, I was offended. I'm looking at spending nearly $60,000 on a vehicle and nobody could be bothered to help us out. It wasn't even particularly busy. There were several people standing around that weren't customers. Sorry Heffner Toyota, you failed miserably at customer service. I will shop elsewhere.

I honestly don't think I'll buy a car from anywhere else from now on. Between purchasing new vehicles, services, buying parts etc, all staff I've delt with have always been friendly and helpful. I felt no pressure to buy and when getting service they always explain everything in detail and warn me if there's additional charges before performing the service. If you're waiting for service, you get a free coffee/tea and a cookie from the Morning Glory restaurant inside. You can also get other food and snacks. Honest and great people.

I had a great experience as I went in to have the Takata airbag recall resolved. Customer service (Courtney) was very good, offered my daughter each a coffee/juice and cookie. Had a great area for my 6 yr old daughter to play in as we waited. I also bought some parts and the parts adviser was very helpful with my questions. They installed the rear wiper blade I bought for no charge. They did advise on some other service items I could consider in the future but did not pressure to have them done right away. They noted on my bill so I could think about it. I appreciated they did not use high pressure up-selling tactics. I usually do most of my own minor/routine repairs but I would consider taking my car here if it needed some other work done.

My experience with Heffner Service team was terrible and I would say the worst customer service I have ever seen. My Toyota Corolla had a vibration issue for which I took my car to the heffner service centre multiple times. My car was inspected and transaxle was replaced, still issue was not fixed. No proper answer from Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager. The only thing they were saying was “There is no issue with your Car”. But I could feel the same vibration even now. And the worst part is that the Service Manager didn't even replied to my email asking for an appointment to discuss on this issue. As there was no effort from heffner technicians to understand the issue I am facing, I requested for a drive test with Toyota field technician and that was also rejected. We trust Toyota for quality and I don't see any kind of quality in service from this dealership.

Crashed my truck into a concrete post and lied to me about it. I had to get the police involved in order for them to repair the damages. On Wednesday October 31st, 2018, I brought my Tacoma into the service department to have the battery checked. At some point during that time, the accident occurred. I did not notice the damage when I picked up the truck as it was on the rear passenger side, but I noticed it immediately when I got home and walked around the truck. I called right away and left a message for the service manager, Greg. The next morning around 11am I still had not heard from him, so I sent an email with pics. He then answered me saying that he was in meetings all day and that his assistant, Giulio would help me. A couple hours later I received a condescending and accusatory voicemail from Giulio saying that my truck left the dealership in “pristine” condition. I called him right away to dispute this and he insisted that he had 40 high definition security cameras showing no damage to my vehicle. At that point I informed him that I would be calling the police. The officer was able to meet me at the dealership around 6pm on Thursday Nov 1st. At that point Greg and Giulio showed us ONE extremely blurry shot of my truck. It was so blurry that you could not read my license plate or the words TRD 4x4 sport on the side of the truck. This was their “proof” that my truck was not damaged! At that time I asked to see the ENTIRE footage of my truck being driven around the dealership. They said “that would take hours” but promised me that they would compile the footage for me to view the following week. I left, unimpressed. The following morning, Friday Nov 3, I filed an official complaint with Toyota Canada and sent an email to the person who answers the Facebook reviews. Later that afternoon I received a phone call from Giulio admitting that he reviewed the footage and that a Toyota technician had in fact backed my truck into a concrete post! At that point he assured me that the damages would be repaired at Toyota’s expense in their collision centre. The vehicle was repaired about 2 weeks later. I will say that of all the people I spoke to, the collision centre staff were the only ones who seemed genuinely sympathetic and very sorry about what had happened. They did a good job fixing it and cleaned the interior of my truck as well which was nice. Unfortunately though, none of that makes up for the horrendous experience I had in the service department. I’m confident that if they damage your vehicle and it’s not on camera they will lie to you and refuse to repair it. I don’t care if my vehicle breaks down in front of their driveway, I will pay to have it towed to Forbes Toyota in Waterloo where I am always treated with respect! Heffner Lexus Toyota cannot be trusted!

Trust me if it is Toyota then it has to be Heffner Toyota not just because its a big dealership but for the quality of service they provide. I change cars a bit frequently and I have never seen a more professional staff like this one. Customer satisfaction comes first for these guys. I met Hilal who helped me find my car. This guy is like a blessing to this place and so is his manager Corey. They are patient, helpful and extremely polite. They will not only provide customer service before you buy the car but also after you are done with the deal.They are not behind making money out of customers. There are no hidden charges only awesome deals and competitive price. Last but not the least if you are looking for financing your car then go for their in house finance option which is cheaper than other banks’ interest and also employees like Kelly (Finance Manager) make the process hasslefree. I bought a used Rav4 a few months ago and wanted to wait until I got my first service (which was free because of the Certified Toyota program) before I wrote a review. I'm going to keep this in point form to avoid writing a novel: - Booked test drive online, they called to confirm the next day who I would be meeting - Arrived for the test drive on time - Waited probably 15 minutes for the Used Car Salesperson to actually come outside and claim to know nothing about the booked test drive - Used the common Used Car Salesperson technique of establishing a time limit to try and rush the sale; claimed they actually had an appointment with someone else so they didn't have much time for me - Used the common Used Car Salesperson technique of borderline bait and switch; "A" Rav4 was parked up front, ready and detailed, seemingly posed there because I was test driving a Rav4. I didn't notice until I took it for a drive and saw the mileage was some 20,000km less than the one I actually booked - Continuation with the classic bait and switch technique; I mentioned the discrepancy when I returned and the Used Car Salesperson claimed the Rav4 I wanted was actually sold the week prior, it was just kept on the website until delivery - After realizing I was actually going to stick to the budget I set, the Used Car Salesperson brought me to the Rav4 I had actually booked a test drive with, weird that it was out on the lot and not already sold.. - Decided I was going to get the Rav4 despite the typical slimy Salesperson techniques - Signing the papers went smoothly, the Used Car Salesperson was outwardly nice and helpful throughout the process. - Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, or maybe the Used Car Salesperson failed to mention it, but nothing was said of the ownership. I incorrectly assumed it was with the papers I was given. This wouldn't have been a problem had it not been for the fact that I picked up the vehicle on Friday after Service Ontario closed which means I couldn't do anything until Monday. I was also pulled over and almost given a ticket for not having the ownership because the Officer also assumed it should have been given to me upon delivery. - After relaying the above to the Used Car Salesperson, they assured me I wasn't going to get a ticket as nothing was done illegally so I had to educate them on what's legal vs what Officers do anyway which prompted the Used Car Salesperson to hand deliver the ownership. It's been a few months since I've had the Rav4, so it was recently due for a service. I called on Monday and booked it for tonight and was quoted 90 minutes for the whole thing. A little long, but they claimed they were sanitizing it before and after so I guess they planned on being thorough. - Dropped it off, but it really didn't seem like they even knew I was coming. They were able to cover this up by having my info in their system so they were just able to look it up and go from there. I could be mistaken about this, but that's how it seemed from my point of view. - 20 minutes in and they call to tell me one of my headlights was out. I hadn't waited around so I told them to hold off on doing anything so I could check it out. - Got back 10 minutes later and they were already finished with the service and were about to give it a wash (nice to be an hour short of the quoted time, but why was I quoted 90 minutes when it only took 30?) - Decided to have them change both headlights while I was there since they quoted ~15 minutes for the entire job - 20 minutes later they were done, I paid and went to leave. Only problem was they forgot to put the cabin filter/glove box back in. They corrected it quickly, but it begs the question, what else did they miss, especially given the glove box was sitting on the passenger floor. I get it was dark, but how does the mechanic and cleaner not notice? Hitting the character limit so I'll sign off with "Would I buy another from Heffner Toyota"? No, I don't like slimy Used Car Salesperson techniques being used. Missing the filter/glove box was a small but telling mistake.

When my husband bought his first car, he had a poor experience at another dealership. This made him hesitant to car shop when we needed a new vehicle. From the moment we walked into Heffner, we felt welcome. There wasn't anyone available to help us right when we walked in, so they directed us to the vehicles we were interested in. I have not seen the SOP’s for COVID19 any where else except in Toyota Heffner. I’m a regular customer for my Toyota Avalon. The way they greet and pamper you is amazing. This is what we need from customer service. Service is as usual excellent. They check the car from top to bottom and let you know promptly if their are any deficiencies. I have seen people visiting other stops for oil change and service requirements due to pricing. Believe me they are not as expensive as usually people thought and secondly they are experts for your Toyota car than any one else. Visit them once and feel the difference.

Very Good Service!! We went in to know the abc's of buying a car in Canada, met Marc Fortier, he was very patient with us being first time car buyers in Canada and explained everything thoroughly. We started on getting a used car and moved on to getting a new one and Marc assisted the whole process in an informative, patient and smooth way. We were late for one of the appointments and I remember Marc had a party at his house he was running late for but still waved off our apologies casually. Worst repair service experience I've ever had. Highly disorganized and poorly managed. The driver side heat stopped working on my work truck so I took it to the "family" dealer to see if they could help. I got a diagnosis that it needed a small plastic synchro gear replaced because it was worn out, the cost...$2500. After the diagnosis, I got back in my truck and noticed a floor cover plate wasn't put back together. The tech came back out and set it in place knowing it was broken but didn't say a word. I didn't realize that until later that night when it fell out and saw the broken pieces. I informed customer service but because I decided to go ahead with this repair anyways because that broken part was being replaced anyway and because there was a lengthy recall on this truck where they needed it for a week, I was going to be provided with a free rental for the duration of the repair. After requesting that the last incompetent tech not work on my vehicle I find out he did. Not happy. Got a call saying my truck was ready after 3 days, thought that was impressive, only to find out they did half the work saying I declined the other work which I never did. Settled that, got the truck back and the manager thought it'd be a good idea to top off the bad service by never returning my voice messages asking for an explanation of what happened. The assistant manager finally did call and offered me a couple free oil changes and apologized for the poor service I received as a whole. There were 2 weird looking plastic parts on the floor that I don't know where they came from or if they should be in the dash somewhere or not. My truck bed rattles more than it used to but hey my heat works! If you can go elsewhere, that's my advice. Maybe they had a bad week that time I took my truck in, but I bet it's more of the norm. I'm not confident that the repair was done right.

I just had my 2019 highlander serviced at Heffners. The Service was fantastic. I brought it in early and they finished it early and made it look better than when I brought it in. This was an 18k service and was already covered for cost under my ECP (extended care protection) that I purchased with the vehicle. It is protection and service together. Nice package. Then I drove my highland with 3 friends to the East Coast and back spending about 24 hours each way in this great vehicle!! And it performed perfectly. Thank you to everyone at Heffners!

Bought 2 vehicle's from Heffner and always had service through them including oil changes. I bring one of the older vehicles in for our regular oil change and they say that the oil pan needs to be replaced because the drain plug does not thread on the oil pan any more. I asked how this happened and they said it is a wear and tear item. I ask them to check back in our history and found out they tapped our oil pan years before this and was never told why? Well the only way for the oil pan threads to go bad is cross threading or way over torquing the drain plug. Why don't you ask one of your mechanics, I am sure they would know. Oil pan threads and drain plugs can last thousands of times going in and out. Can't trust them for simple service and then don't own up to any wrong doing even though the proof is right there in their own notes. Service of our Toyota vehicles will be taken care of somewhere else. UPDATE: Heffner has reached out to us and in good faith worked out a solution for both sides that makes the most sense. Things did not go well for us at first, but Heffner made an effort to do right so I have updated the rating from 1 star to 3 star.

Our Toyota purchase is one of those "long stories". It started about 6-months ago with us going into Heffner looking for a replacement vehicle for my wife, possibly a Camry. Jake Hebscher helped us from Square-1 and he was patient with us and fed us all the information we needed to make a decision. After the whole process we decided to put the vehicle purchase on hold. I was assured it was sent in the mail but never actually ended up receiving it. I called and asked a couple times regarding this, and was told it was being looked into. Place is fantastic as a dealership. Quick oil change took 45 minutes, so it was a bit on a slow side. But I made it to work on time so everything is fine. I've got the reply. Wrong one! I was first customer there and when service opened at 7.00 I was first in. Took few minutes to go through paperwork and that was fine. Next 40 minutes I was waiting for my car and watching.... not much being done to it. Oil change, from start to finish should not take longer than 15-20 minutes.

Hi Service Dept: I recently tried to book my 2016 Hybrid in for 104, 000 Service 1. I was told I wouldn’t be able to get an appointment for a month because of winter tire change overs. I’m sorry your suppose to be a professional Auto Dealership. If you can’t figure out how to keep the scheduled required service on track for your thousands of customers cars and keep the tire business separate your service schedules you have a serious problem. I had to take my car to my regular mechanic to keep my service schedule on track. If I had of skipped this service as was suggested by your service girl and something was not right with my fluid levels who would have been responsible if something caused damage to my car? I know the answer me because I didn’t keep my service on schedule Not the dealership I choose because I thought I could count on the service department to keep my scheduled service of my hybrid on schedule. Very disappointed in Heffner Toyota service department don’t think I’ll be buying any more cars and may even switch my service to the mechanic that got me in in 2 days. He pulled up all the Toyota Service procedures on his computer and proceeded to do the service according to Toyota Service Standards. Way to go. Love the car not impressed with Heffner I guess I’m not part of the family!

I picked up a brand new Tacoma that had a faulty rack and pinion from the factory. It took toyota 2years to diagnose the problem correctly. When they finally realized it was a faulty rack and pinion they replaced it under my extended warranty then charged me over $100 to complete a wheel alignment that was needed only because they replaced the rack. I should not have been charged for the alignment, I should not have had to drive the truck around for over two years with a clunk in the steering, and I definitely should not have had to leave the truck with them twice before this so they could replace a part that wasn’t the problem, yes they replace the same part twice before diagnosing the problem as the rack. I have been in and out of this dealership more than I should have been with a new vehicle. I have not left any reviews yet because I wanted to wait until my warranty was complete to see how they treated me throughout the warranty period. This is a first review of many. Not all of them are negative but I thought I would start with this one. My truck was delivered with problems and it still has problems. My next review will talk about the heater fan motor that they claimed to have replaced. Well, I just found out that google won’t allow me to post multiple reviews about a company. That’s Unfortunate for Heffners. I have had some positive experiences while visiting the dealership but considering my truck still has the issues it had when delivered to me, my overall experience with buying a new Toyota has been negative so I’ll have to stick with the one star review.

Horrible service today, when I came in Cody was at the front desk for the oil and lube department. I came in and thought i would be assisted with my oil change, but instead he started to talk with 2 of his co-workers (who did the oil changes) about what he will have for lunch. Overall his performance was very poor, I went to purchase a coffee as I had just got off work and the kind people behind the counter advised me it’s free with an oil change..... After a long wait he handed me my keys and told me my cars ready. I looked around to see that my car was not in the lot, he then got a coworker to tell me that my cars parked outside? This is my first ever bad experience with Toyota. I have never had this problem before, i really hope management followed up with this service issue.

Recently bought a brand new fully loaded toyota tacoma sport with cash and after the extended warranty was well over 50k. Apparently a "rock" hit my compressor and it sprung a leak so no AC...and no coverage from my extended warranty that cost thousands. Also, had a mouse nest in my engine filter box, they called and asked if I would like it removed for a fee even though the tech already had it open...I then said I would deal with it if it was extra charge. Took me less than 2 mins to open the hood, open the box cover and pull out the nest. Was surprised that they wouldnt just take the 10 seconds to pull the thing out while they were looking at it instead of taking 5 mins to call me and ask about it. I suppose quality of service for clients who just bought a new new vehicle isn't what it used to be.

Not a place worth spending your money for service. $100 per hour is an insane cost for an oil change that takes 2 hours. I had an appointment to replace a passanger air bag and upon return inside of vehicle was scratched during removal and first thing manager said "my guys didn't do it". I was beyond frustrated that I've refused to have the repair. Service management should be reviewed and for horrible customer service.

I have unfortunately purchased a 2021 rav4 from here as it is the closest toyota dealer near me, and the experience was terrible. My car is financed by scotiabank and I agreed to go with scotiabank was considering the convenience that i can do transactions using the mobile app. But the finance lady Barbara was careless and made errors and messed up the file hence i cant check my balance or make extra payments. I have also brought toyota ecp for the car which comes with 6 free services. I was surprised to know that they have suspended it when I brought the car for first service. I have e mailed them about it and there is no response from their side. I have also did rustproofing had had residues left on my wheels and center cap when i told about it at my first service they told me to use rim cleaner. Giving car for service is another nightmare. I asked them to do oil change on my car as per factory 2018 and up camry and 2019 and up rav4 are supposed to use 0w16 grade oil. In my case they have used 0w20 grade in a brand new car. And when i asked about it they just said they were out of stock. This seems like they may use windshield washer fluid in brakes if the brake fluids are out of stock.

Toyota emailed me to complete a voluntary survey of my experience and this was my response: Upon purchase - There was a few paint chippings when I first purchased the car and I was told to head over to the body shop to get a paint pen to fix it. This was a brand new car and the paint should have been flawless, but to add insult to injury; the body shop told me it was be ~$10 for the paint pen which doesn't rectify the paint problem at all. I talked to the car salesman that had to 'jump start' my car upon pick-up (embarrassing) and he did not do anything about this problem. Also, my family never did receive the refer a friend $50 gift card. Oil Change - I took my car into the dealership (Heffner Toyota) for a scheduled oil change and was expecting the usual ~30mins. it takes to change the oil. After about an hour of waiting at the cafe area I was told by a service worker that my oil pan drain plug had been stripped from the previous oil change which was also done at Heffner Toyota. They did not have a spare oil pan drain plug at the moment so I ended up waiting over 2 hours for a simple oil change. Needless to say, I haven't been back to this establishment for an oil change ever since. Body work - The car was in a minor front end collision where the opposing party was at fault. I called my insurance to see who they deal with and they listed Heffner Toyota as one of the options. I scheduled an appointment with the body shop, dropped off my car and went home. The front bumper was replaced and the paint match was impeccable; however, the alignment of the bumper was off and the headlight began to dig into the bumper paint due to misalignment. The front end damage from the accident was more cosmetics as the other car's muffler tip dug into the bumper leaving a dent/scratch and the bumper alignment itself was perfect beforehand. I called and scheduled another appointment with the body shop to remedy the problem and when I picked up the car everything looked great again. About a month passed by and I was driving on the highway and heard a loud noise like I ran over something. I pulled over to check out what it was and I had tore off the entire passenger fender liner. Upon further inspection, I realized that they did not secure the bumper to the fenders via plastic clips that were originally on there. The plastic clips holding the front cover to the bumper were not put back and instead just loosely 'tucked' in place. As they were loosely tucked in place, the passenger fender liner had ended up getting caught under my tire and ripping off entirely. The clips themselves are quite expensive so I ended up zip-tying everything up underneath and called it a day. Furthermore, the bumper is now sagging and the headlight is scratching the bumper paint once again. I have not contacted Heffner Toyota ever since the bodywork incident, but if anyone from my family, friends and whomever asks me about Heffner Toyota; I will without question tell them to go elsewhere.

Not impressed with how Toyota stands by their product. We bought a new Rav4 here a year ago. There had been issues with the floor in the cargo space collapsing went anything had been put on it since we bought the vehicle. This was repaired a short while ago and covered by warranty. Unfortunately last week the floor collapsed again while carrying roughly 80 pounds of salt. This time the little plastic runner that holds the floor cracked. Took it in to get "evaluated". During the evaluation it was suggested 1) there might have been a crack I hadn't noticed and the weight of the salt made it worse 2) maybe it was worn over time (about 14 months) 3) well it's been cold and that might have made the plastic brittle or 4) that I was negligent on how I put the salt in ( I was not) Three of the 4 suggestion would imply there was an issue with the plastic piece. That there had been a reoccurring issue would suggest that as well. The dealership refused to cover as a warranty, I was told they called Toyota to confirm that it would be covered. I called Toyota customer service afterward and was told specifically that warranty claim are decided at the dealership level and that Toyota itself has nothing to do with it. My only recourse is to take it to a different dealership, pay for an evaluation and maybe that dealership would process it under warranty. A vehicle like this should be able to handle heavier items being placed in it. Based on the suggestions of the staff it seems likely there was an issue with plastic piece. Neither the dealership nor Toyota itself seemed particularly interested in helping resolve the issue. The front line staff seemed friendly if not particularly helpful.

Unprofessional staff with inconsistent pricing, rude staff at service who do not give you accurate pricing and say different things. I had booked a service 2 appointment for my car and I was told 120 with taxes and then I called to reschedule the day and they changed the pricing as well. I spoke to 2 different representatives and each gave me different answers and they spoke very rudely. First one Megan said she made a mistake and said 120 with taxes and said she would send the correct price in email and never did. Second rep Andrew tells me 204 with taxes in. I had done a tire change here as well and they did not do a proper job and kept saying to me the nuts would not fit and they charged me full price for the service and never compensated me for the extra costs I paid for getting it repaired elsewhere. The place I had gotten it repaired easily fit the tires in the car with the same nuts that Toyota could not fit in. The service manager Mike Moore was very rude and did not compensate at all the extra costs and I was charged full price for half of the service that was done. Be careful when booking an appointment, make sure to get the price emailed before hand so you don't get stuck with a different price at the time of the appointment

I was greeted well, they service engineer guy explained me all the jobs that are required to be done and they ended up doing a great job. The thing I didn’t like was the waiting area. It was boring! No magazines.. one TV far with some news…:( due to COVID the chairs were laid quite far from each other, but they weren’t very comfortable, cafeteria was closed, vending machines were not working. In short waiting killed me! But all’s well that ends well! Got my car serviced and they did a god job there!

I do not recommend this dealership to any young first time car buyers. I was 21 when I purchased my first car from Hefner Toyota. I was told I would need a co-signer for my car and was also told they will see what they can do to get me in a vehicle. They said if you get all the extended warranties and take the car at 11% interest we can put it in your name. Me being young and Naive I was happy to just have the car. Looking back 8 years later and the amount of money I was scammed into by buying all the extras and the interest, the sales reps definitely took advantage of me and reaped major commissions off a young kid.

Had pretty good experience with previous two new cars purchase until the recent 3rd new car (and my last purchase from this place). Met this "senior" sales lady who obviously is very reluctant to deal with walk in customer. It went okay until an issue came up when the service department was safety checking my old car. Without fully understanding the details, this "senior" sales lady started to blame me as if I am a thief " the only person I don't trust at this point is you... you will need to pay for the inspection before you can take the vehicle." Ended up I refused to get my new key from her hand, she managed to find one of her peers to complete the transition - what an experience! Again, my experience with all other person including service were just fine. If you still prefer to shopping here you may consider to deal with a "junior" sales person - help them out and less likely you will be treated as a "thief" !

I purchased a new vehicle with them 3 years ago. I am happy with my choice in car but the extra costs and warranty (small print) has been ridiculous. They are friendly but if you keep track of extra charges and "uncovered" costs you will end up paying way more than no warranty and taking it to a private garage. They get away with this because most people just say ok that's what I need and don't keep track of the extras. I have and will continue to warn people about their practices.

I've never owned a Toyota or dealt with Heffner in the past and I was connected to Kevin Rego. Kevin is a friendly, straight talking, knowledgeable salesperson who is an excellent communicator. My sales process spanned over almost 4 months and Kevin kept me well-informed and was/is amazingly responsive to messages and phone calls. I always feel like a "special" customer when dealing with Kevin. I dealt with Dave in the parts department and he was very helpful with my many accessory related questions - especially regarding a backordered tonneau cover. He took the time I needed him too. Thanks Dave - lemme know when it comes in. The facility is great and I would highly recommend using this store to buy your next Toyota. Sounds like a commercial?-- it's not. From the cookie and coffee to enjoy while I waited for the shuttle, which not only took me all the way to Waterloo for work, but also came and picked me up at the end of the day. They completed the recall on my car with a smile, and a thank you. But let me tell you what kind of company they truly are - A friend of our family was dying of cancer. The family held a fund raiser to raise funds to help the family through this tough time. Heffner donated a gift certificate for their bronze detailing package, to the raffle. Of which, I won. I did not have high expectations for the detailing. Not because I didn't think they'd do a good job, but because my car was a DISASTER. When I got my car back, it exceeded any expectation I foolishly set. Days later, and I am still so very pleased with it. The only (extremely small) thing I'd have liked, was some sort of air freshener. But seriously, everything was so damn amazing, it doesn't even bother me. That family friend unfortunately passed away last week. A very sad time. But with Heffner's gracious donation, they helped make a very difficult time, a little less difficult for this family. I've bought my last two cars from Heffner. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I always know I'm getting a fair price, and know that after the sale, I am still important to them.

I set up an appointment with him and after a test drive we quickly put together a deal. That was on a Wednesday. What a fantastic experience I recently had at Heffner Toyota, while purchasing a Camry from Matthew Bishop. It was like a valet service from start to finish. He picked me up from the wreckers where I unloaded my old nightmare before going back to the dealership to make it official. Went to Heffner Toyota in person because after 4 phone calls I was not able to get an appointment for an oil change. In the service area I was finally able to get an employee to notice me. I asked to speak with the manager. He was sitting in his office looking directly at me but sent the employee to advise he was too busy to talk to me. I went and spoke to one of the Heffner family. Explained my difficulty in getting an appointment. He explained in detailed how busy they are at this time and how difficult it is for them to service their customers. AVOID Heffner Toyota if you value customer service or professionalism. I used to think highly of this dealership; however, recently they've changed for the worse. My most recent visit was the worst experience that I have ever had at any car dealership. I was mocked by staffers for locking my keys in my car, and subsequently advised not to return to Heffner by the assistant service manager, Ahmed. I went in a week and a half ago to have a key reprogrammed. When I was there, I locked my keys in my car - an embarrassing mistake on its own. While waiting in the service area, two service advisors (neither of whom were working with me) stood around and openly mocked me, without regard. This made for a humiliating experience, to say the least. When I mentioned that I could hear these unprofessional staffers, they quickly stopped talking, but did not apologize. They simply watched me with glee as I walked around the dealership humiliated. I later spoke with Ahmed, the assistant service manager, to share my displeasure with these two unprofessional and immature employees. His response was to praise these workers (informing me that they are two of the best advisors at Heffner), while suggesting that I should not return to Heffner ("That's what I would do if I was in your shoes"). This was the single worst experience I have ever had at any car dealership. The behavior demonstrated by these staffers has no place in any customer service role, period. As Ahmed's reaction showed, these employees represent what Heffner stands for. One week later, I was offered a free oil change and a false apology, as well as reassurance that these employees were talked to (read: no repercussions). It felt like Ahmed was simply checking off a box on his "to do" list for the week, rather than attempting to rectify the situation. I used to value Heffner Toyota - I previously had positive experiences there, which is why I gave 2 stars rather than 1. I truly hope that Heffner re-assesses its customer service model, so that no customer has this unnecessary experience going forward. Fortunately, per Ahmed's suggestion, I will not return to this dealership, so I will not have to find out.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! The detailing GOLD service that was done on my vehicle was very poor. The windows were not clean, There is some kind of white hazy residue on the paint and back bumper. dirt under the back seats etc. stains and dirt on the carpet. I drove my vehicle away, it started to rain, I turned on my wipers and the blade came dislodged. I turned around went back the woman at the counter called someone. He came out fixed the wiper blade. Did not say anything and wiped off some of the visible hazy marked areas with his shirt and walked away??? Just WOW ?! Would not recommend this GOLD DETAILING SERVICE.

Thanks for the reminder....Got a remote start thrown in my my $35000 with the understanding that it will defrost my windshield in a reasonable amount of time. But it does NOT! So I ask for my money back and tell them to take their remote back. They say they can't do that as the remote "works as intended". They also state that it was a freebie even though I had to negotiate for it. Service Manager admits that it is not wired "to the computer like other vehicles I know of". Escalated to all Managers within the dealership and basically got told that nothing could be done. Not even offered a muffin. Their reasoning makes no sense and proves that they are only after your money and are happiest once you leave. The positive reviews on here are probably for the car itself but keep in mind, that is on Toyota and NOT the dealership. They could care less about keeping you happy in a long term relationship after they have cashed your cheque. I'm not blowing hot air, I have the documentation and emails proving my frustration with them so if you post a request, I will get the proof to you. If you want a Toyota, I recommend going to Forbes or Guelph locally. I noticed a post by LN indicating they want to take their warranty issues elsewhere. The chp*****skts at Heffner don't really care despite their offer to "chat". They do not get PAID for warranty repairs unless it's through Toyota Canada themselves. But I would definitely take your car elsewhere for oil changes and such. You are probably getting gouged there. But if you decide to move on, you should not have any problem transferring over to another dealership. After all, if you moved to the west coast, you would not be expected to bring your car to Kitchener for warranty issues. Oh yes, and a tip....If you have the urge to buy off these greedy people, make sure to have them put any extras that you negotiate on the bill of sale. If you do not, and there is a problem down the road, they will state that it was thrown in for free and no reimbursement is available. They know I speak the truth. Notice how they responded to MY ad without acknowledging that the intent of the remote was to defrost my windshield, as discussed with the salesperson. Hey, Google works as intended, you know! LOL! Why do they make promises that they cannot keep?

Had service done they removed my heat shield on my highlander and could not repair my trunk as the automatic trunk came un fastened and said they would send it out for repair and never did. Showed on my invoice that I refused two of the services that were supposed to be done. When I called to ask why those service were not done it was explained something about there bonuses and they had to put those down as customer refused which I never did. When asked why my heat shield was removed as I was charged for the repair on it. I could not get an answer and was told the service advisor would call me on Monday. I am still waiting for that call a month later. Thought you guys were better then this

Worst customer service. From the first day when we tried to buy a new rav4 hybrid from them. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to come and help us we finally had Jeff help us. Being the manager I did expect more from him. We were told there was an 8 month wait for the hybrid. That was fine, he then showed us the numbers for a hylander which we could get sooner. We test drove them, went home and talked it over. A day later we left a message to proceed with a purchase. No call back, sent an email, a week later still no reply. We then got frustrated and called around to other dealships. Milton had 2 hybrids available after we were told by heffner that nobody has hybrid available. Milton got our business and we couldn't be happier. Heffner Toyota will never get my business again.

The process of buying a vehicle was spectacular. Michelle Whittle was great and helpful throughout the whole process and helped us find the best deal and vehicle for our needs. The only issue I have is that we bought the extended warranty and thus, must have service completed at Heffner Toyota. You cannot missed a scheduled maintenance appointment in order to not void your extended warranty. But some of the services are completely unnecessary, a waste of time and I truly believe a way to make people void their warranty. There is no reason I should have to wait 3 hours for them to check my fluid and wipers. I can do that myself from home. No oil change or anything useful is being completed. Just a job that could be completed in my estimation, within 5-10 minutes. If you book an appointment anywhere else for a service similar to like this, you would wait max a half hour. Until their service department is cleaned up and an appointment time means the time your vehicle will be looked at this will remain a 2 star review.

Took my old car in for tire swap and maintenance at 7 am .they told me The car was not ready for pickup until 330 pm even tho it was sitting in the lot since 305 pm when I arrived and they couldn’t find my keys. We bought a pre-owned 2018 Toyota Corolla from Heffner Toyota. The sales team was great. Thanks to Henry and Melissa. The service department not so much. We did the test drive on a tire with a big cut on the side wall. The car had been safety checked before by Heffner Toyota. To finalize the sale they were supposed to check an oil leak. They claimed to have changed the valve cover gasket to fix that. This job has never been done. Fake. Instead they let us drive off with a leaking transmission oil fill plug. Easy fix but they did not care to look. This was very insulting. The brake fluid reservoir was only half full although the fluid had been changed two weeks prior by Heffner Toyota. An email to Mr. Heffner did not trigger any response. He does not care either.

Did some research and pricing online from their web site. Sales Rep Vic was awesome, gave us some great tips and was totally zero pressure. Love the car, so many great features. After many years of excellence in service and sales from Heffner Toyota. I had such a horrible experience buying my 4th and last car from this dealership. They messed up my financing and than fixed it so that was the only positive thing. But the salesman jim holyholm was very neglectful. Had me and my wife come in from Hamilton to test drive and go over paperwork. When we arrived we had to wait due to him being with another customer. So I decided to go for my test drive. Unfortunately the car was out of gas. So no test drive. After an hour or so waiting we finally got to go over the deal. Everything looked good so I signed. To find out the day before pick up the finance department let me know that the accessories could not be financed and would be an additional monthly payment. The manager I spoke with worked with finance to get this issue fixed. And I was happy with the results. When going in to pick up my new car heffner was supposed to swap my tires and rims from my trade in to my new car. Was told that this would not be possible. Another disappointment. But it is what it is. just more of my time and money why would they care? So this is several months after owning the new car. I get an email stating that money they refunded me is now to be given back to heffner. So apparently nobody at this dealership has any clue how to do their job properly. If I could give this dealership less than 1 star I would. Needless to say Toyota makes great cars but Heffner has lost a lifelong customer. Due to there utter incompetence. From messing up my financing to not answering emails the tires that are still not on my new car. Etc etc etc.

Fast forward two days and the owner of Heffner basically told me where to go and said they wouldn't be covering the $1300 repair that it needs. I will be taking legal action as it SHOULD be covered after I was told it was. Don't buy from here.

Bad service, staff very rude. I had my Camry go in for a new axle and when I picked it up it had so many issues, brakes, alignment, squeaking noises and the driveability was not the same anymore. I tried to have them take a look at it but no one at that dealership would listen to me. Go to other Toyota dealerships in the area to save yourself some headaches. Edit July 22 2019: I heard back from the assistant sales manager on Friday July 12, that the tires would be in Monday July 15. As I also had a recall issue the appointment was set for July 22 to take care of both. The Service department staff were very helpful had no issues there. Updating rating to 4 stars because my initial experience was great, and the tire situation was resolved with no further delays. Edit July 11 2019: I am adjusting my review to reflect recent events. When we purchased the car, we were supposed to get a set of summer/all season tires. They weren’t available when we bought the car and we were told the tires would be delivered to us. Which was fine. When I took the tires to a local mechanic (ready to switch) they advised they wouldn’t put the tires on my car because they were 10 years old, used, dried out, not quite the right size and on the wrong rims. I took the tires back to Heffner on May 31, spoke to the assistant sales manager he looked at the tires, took them back and said he’d get their mechanics to look at them and advise how to move forward. I was told there should be a response June 1 and from there this is how the correspondence has gone: June 3: me emailing for update June 7: me emailing for update June 8: response from assistant sales manager that I needed new tires and they would be ordered June 17: me emailing for an update June 24: me emailing for an update June 26: assistant sales manager said he would check with parts department and get back to me July 2: me emailing for an update And as of the day I’m writing this, there still has been no response to my July 2 email. Not pleased with how this mattered as been handled. I’ve worked in the customer service and I’m willing to cut reps some slack. But I feel this has gone past reasonable. I would get this 2.5 stars but rounding down since you can’t give half stars. Original Review: Went to Heffners with my dad and boyfriend, for my new used car, and it was a great experience! We worked with Marc, he walked us through all the details and he had great sense of humour through the whole thing. The other staff were friendly and greeted us when we came in. Booked an appointment to get another key fob. They didn't care to mention at that point that they've closed their car shuttle bus service. When asking them how long it would take to reprogram the new key, they gave me a very ambiguous answer. "Some time in the afternoon". When asking them if they have another method of accommodating clients that need to be somewhere else, they reiterate to me that the shuttle bus service is closed...but that i can help myself to free water and coffee. (This doesn't really help me get home though). So without the shuttle bus, I have no means of getting home without forking an absurd amount of money. Luckily my mom had time in between her appts to pick me up but i had to wait 1.5 hrs for her. They also don't update you on any changes. After i left the dealer after a few hrs, they call me saying that there were cancellations and that my car is done. I only ask that they are more transparent in the future and disclose to clients when booking the appointments to mention that the shuttle bus is closed...would've allowed me to plan a lot better. Not too impressed today.

I have a Toyota 4runner 2019, i called Toyota Hefner Kitchener at their service department and asked to book an appointment for service and the lady from the service department told me that there is a service number 3 that is covered and there is one recall and both these services would be free of cost and she clearly told me that you do not have to pay for it. I booked the appointment and showed up on time and another person from the service department told me that you have to pay for the service and I told him that your representative from the service department told me that it would be covered by the toyota dealership and he is like i am sorry but i can not honor what she told you and you have to pay. Me and my wife had to take off from school and work to bring the vehicle for service and we got an awful experience in return. I am really disappointed with this kind of customer service and I never expected such a customer service from a Toyota Dealership. Horrible

After years of dealing with Toyota in Chatham for my new car purchases I decided to try Heffner since they were more local. I went in with the intention of getting a Hybrid Rav4, but was told I would be lucky to get it by December due to the backlog. I could deal with getting a gas Rav4, and was told I would likely take possession within 10 to 14 days. At the 10 day mark I asked if there were any updates as the latest I could take possession was July 24 (Just shy of 1 month since paperwork signed) or would have to wait until August 9th as I was going to be away. I was told it would not be available until I returned. I looked at their online inventory and noticed they did have 1 Hybrid Limited in Black, which wasnt the model or colour I wanted, but in an effort to speed up the process I said I would take it. I was told, despite it showing online as inventory it was a test drive model and not for sale. I asked if there were any XLE or XLE Plus in black or blue, and that I was willkng to pay more to get my new car in the original time frame. I was told that there was an XLE Plus in blue but would require a few days to be ready. Based on original timelines I had expected to have the new car by Monday when I leave for a day trip. I said I would pass on the detail, and I would book an appointment to go back to get the protections done on Tuesday. I was again told no. No to the hybrid, no to getting my new car before my trip, and no to getting a different colour or model within the original timelines. I have never purchased a new car from a dealership and not have them hit their timelines for delivery. I feep that I have suggested numerous reasonable solutions, but have been stonewalled. For this reason I cannot recommend Heffner Toyota, and likely would not return for future car purchases.

I use to have great customer service coming to this location. In our last few visits and even purchases it has gone down hill. I'm not sure if this is connected to sales pressure. My most recent visit pushed us over the edge. Toyota's service representative was caught lying multiple times. They lied about the repair, what broke and what had to be done. Only due to several people questioning this and getting a second opinion found out this was false. It is actually not a large repair at all. Bought a new 2019 corolla from heffner in February 2019 . 8 months later 1 of the wheel cover cracked. I asked the service advisor if it was covered under warranty , she asked me the location of the crack and I told her it was on the front passenger side. She inspected the crack and talk to the manager. After talking to her manager she asked me if I swap to winter tires, I told her no I haven't. The car still have the original tires and tire covers. She called the manager on the phone again and after talking to her manager she said no it is not covered under warranty. Why asked me if I swap to winter tires if you're going to say NO anyway. I'm very disappointed.
