I've been bringing my car to Pacific Mazda for service for about 7 years and have had a positive experience everytime. When I've had to have work done (i.e. brakes) and have gotten estimates from other repair shops, Pacific Mazda is usually on par or within a few dollars. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable and as I work downtown, it's so convenient to leave my car with them for the day whenever I'm getting service done. With the bad experiences my husband has had with other dealership service departments in Victoria, it makes me greatful for the fabulous service I get at Pacific Mazda.

We were in the market for a new SUV last year and after some looking around we settled on the CX-5. We have been so happy with our purchase. Ed, the salesman that helped us was so personable and helpful. In fact, when we needed a small car for commuting in Alberta my husband headed back to Pacific Mazda because we had had such great service. We bought a used Mazda 3 from them as well. Safe to say our next purchase will be from here!

We were visiting Victoria over Christmas in snowy weather. We slid into a curb and created some significant damage to our car. All auto repair stores were fully booked through the new year but Mazda Victoria got us in, repaired our car and even arranged to have winter tires transferred down and installed by the next morning so we could get home without extending our trip. The service was amazing and communication outstanding. They saved the day and we are so grateful. Thanks!

A few weeks ago I was in for an oil change and a check, because my car was not driving right. I spoke with the service advisor, Laura. Laura was absolutely fantastic, through text messages she kept me updated on the progress, I texted her back and she called to discuss the issue. I needed a new transmission computer. It was ordered right away and installed very promptly. They were very accommodating with the time I could drop off and pick up my vehicle. I could not be happier with the service I got. I always had great service at this Mazda location, but this last visit, although the most expensive due to the issue, was the most pleasant and convenient. Thank you.

worst service experience ever. I will not say who she is but not impressed with out letting me know before what the job was going to cost. It went from $550 to $2500. I am also in the automotive trade and this is a bad way to handle your business. It would have been better if they kept me up to speed thru the process.

Worst experience at a service dept ever, had 830am appointment , told car would be ready by 230/3 …. Went to pick car up at 3pm still hadn’t even gone in for service . My time doesn’t seem to be important to them as I had to wait an additional 1.5 hrs . I had to go because it was a factory recall , but never will the get my business for anything else .

A couple weeks ago I went into Pacific Mazda and dealt specifically with Matt on the recommendation of a friend. Matt was a true pleasure to deal with; friendly, honest, not at all the typical pushy car salesman I’ve come to expect from past experiences. He truly went above and beyond and answered all my myriad of questions. Even though I ultimately ended up going with a different deal elsewhere, I would definitely recommend Matt and Pacific Mazda to anyone looking for a new car.

Just finishing purchasing a 2015 Mazda CX-5 GT with my daughter. The vehicle was immaculate and had a perfect 3rd party inspection. Al Hache did an amazing job! He was professional, personable and truly knew the product. When my daughter took possession of the car, Al went over the whole vehicle and showed her all the features. He paired her mobile as well. Everyone that we encountered at the dealership were very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Al and the dealership. Job well done!!

I bought a Mazda 3 from Pacific Mazda at the beginning of September. When I was test driving the car, the salesman brought up the fact that a person who previously had test driven the car noticed it was pulling to the right during that test drive. I noticed the same thing during my test drive and so when I was negotiating the purchase of the car, the salesman showed me the car inspection that Pacific Mazda service shop had put the car through and then offered to put it thought a second inspection to ensure the car had no mechanical issues. After keeping the car for 5 days to conduct the 2nd inspection, I got the car back and the salesman told me the 2nd inspection didn't show any mechanical issues with the vehicle. I asked for a copy of the original car inspection and the 2nd inspection, but to this day, I never received a copy of either inspection. To my mistake, I took the salesman's word that the car showed no mechanical issues and carried on with life. After driving the car for a few weeks I noticed the car was pulling to the right more and more and also making a shuttering noise. After saving up some money for a few weeks, I took the car a mechanic to have it inspected. After receiving a $700 bill to have the car inspected, the right wheel hub replaced and a tire alignment, I'm sharing this valuable lesson I've learned from this situation to get everything in writing and not just trust the word of the salesman.

Our recent first time experience with Pacific Mazda (PM) was excellent. We test drove vehicles at other dealerships and eventually made our way to PM to see what they had in terms of used vehicles. We were first met by Al H who looked after us from beginning to end. He was very patient and informative and allowed us to test drive a variety of vehicles while we learned about their different features along the way. His service was excellent and we never felt any pressure from him during the selection and ultimately the buying process. Excellent professional service. Ditto for Lisa M in the finance department who was also very pleasant to deal with and helpful by providing different options for warranty, etc. All the while without any pressure tactics to force us into a quick decision. Pacific Mazda has restored my faith in car dealerships. I had been perusing some lots and online (auto trader) for a used truck. I happened to drive by Pacific Mazda one day back in October and saw a truck that could suit my needs. I stopped in and had a look and met by a friendly sales person (Glen). He listened well to my needs and was very relaxed about hearing me out. Took the truck for a test drive and it was nice to just go for a drive and just talk about both the vehicle and make personal connections. At no time was the typical pressure sales talk initiated. Finished the test drive and went inside to talk about pricing. I felt that I was treated with respect and fairness and we were able to work out a price that suited both sides which gave time to think it over. Ended up going through with the deal and the process was smooth and felt well taken care of by Glen, Angie (one of the managers), and Ben (finance dept). They all took the time to explain all aspects of the process and we never felt rushed. There is something to be said about smaller family owned businesses compared to the larger conglomerate owned dealerships. Thank you Glen, Angie and Ben for your time, professionalism and friendliness during the whole process. I am loving my new truck!

Paint peeling off within 1 year of purchase of new car, got my whole car repainted. A friend with same car had problem as well. It starts peeling off in about a year again, went to Pacific Mazda to ask about the paint problem, said it was my fault because I am from Alberta.. with bad roads. Had a fantastic experience at Pacific Mazda. My fiance and I were having a quick look in the lot, scanning for some of the vehicles I saw online. A salesman came out and introduced himself as Todd. Todd was amazing! He was very casual, and friendly, and we did not feel the cliche sales pressure at all. Todd asked us if we wanted to take one of the vehicles out for a test drive. Again, we did not feel pressure. We felt Todd's excitement of just wanting to show and tell us what the vehicle is about. We left the lot feeling really confident. Todd responded to my email that night after hours. We went in the next day to purchase the vehicle. Again Todd was very honest and kind without being pushy. I have just bought a car from them 3 weeks ago. While I am happy with the general performance of the car, I'm not happy with the how many issues I have had to deal with as a result of the carelessness of the sales/service people. They forgot to make me a second key...so I had to return again for that. Then I discovered that the car they gave me had sat on the lot for so long the rotors had rusted over and were causing me braking issues. They shaved the rotors down but I'm not happy that I have to drive on thinner rotors and that NOBODY bothered to check if a brand new car was in proper condition. Then I got a low tire pressure warning and checked all 4 tires. All 4 were 10 psi below where they should have been, so again I had to waste my time filling them. Again, nobody bothered to check before it was given to me. Once you sign the paperwork, it seems they don't care any longer. I'd buy another Mazda, just not from these guys.

Matt the Sales Manager and Frank the Salesperson we worked with were absolutely amazing. These guys did everything they could to get us our dream car and went waaaaay above and beyond. Never once did we feel pressured or that we were being taken advantage of. They were absolutely genuine the entire time and thoroughly explained every step of the process. Never once did it feel like they were using tactics to get a sale like a lot of other dealerships in Victoria. I would recommend these guys 100% of the time.
