Most inspiring young company to be associated with. Progressive, fair and most importantly community minded. Sadly, they are all qualities others only talked about and seldom exercise, but GAIN Vancouver Island truly walks the talk and leads the way in supporting the communities they do business in. Duncan Regional Hospital for example is a primary beneficiary of the Annual Motor Gathering I volunteer at regularly; the David Foster Foundation has been on GAIN's radar for many years as are other Charities in Nanaimo and Victoria. I own a BMW M3. I brought the vehicle to Gain for a service assessment earlier this year. The required work estimate was >200% overpriced compared with dealerships in Alberta and Ontario. Moreover, the technicians seemed to be preoccupied with up-selling me unneeded products. Avoid GAIN if at all possible.

The GAIN group is amazing, from the GAIN organization, to Three Point Motors, to Victoria BMW and all the other dealerships and brands, to the Villa Eyrie and last but not least the Vancouver Island Motorsport Curcuit and their Charity Fund Raisers! What an organization that is heavily involved in giving back to the community and driver education and experience! Thanks to GAIN I had 5 track days at Spring Mountain that saved the life of my family and myself 7 years ago, thanks to the driver training I received. Leaving Drumheller Alberta a car pulled a U-turn in front of us on the highway and I managed to avoid a T-bone ... rental car a total write off but we all walked away!!! Fast forward to 20 Dec 2018, and the track driver training GAIN provided for my wife, and my team who are all female, at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit in October 2018 saved her life, and that of our boys 11 and 9 now, as a tree fell in front of her driving through Goldstream Park to Victoria!!! Due to the Dynamic Driving and track driving with instructors, on 20 Dec when a tree fell as she was driving through goldstream she did not panic and simply slam on the breaks, she reacted! Seeing no vehicles in the northbound lane she swerved into it and onto the northbound shoulder and was hit by the smallest part of the tree and not the thick trunk, and then turned back into the southbound lane and shoulder! $17,000 damage on the SUV, and all walked away without a scratch!!! Then GAIN and Three Point went above and beyond when they heard she had been in an accident during the wind storm ... they went out and got my wife and two boys right away and put her into a loaner car and had the SUV towed to Three Point after the RCMP were done at the scene. Then they dealt with the car and delivery to the body shop while we departed on our family ski trip for Christmas on the 22nd of December ... a trip that nearly didn’t happen had it not been for the driver training provided for by GAIN Victoria and the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit!! The GAIN team provides not only luxury cars, but are also dedicated to their community with fundraisers and support of the David Foster charities and Saanich paninsula Hospital Foondation amongst others! And most important in my books, provide life saving driver training with their dynamic driving and track driving training sessions! They are truly an amazing organization with a vision to improve the lives of the community they serve and support! I thank all at GAIN and are on the GAIN team for all the amazing support, and the driver training my family has had, as I am sure we would not be here to create many more memories and experiences had it not for their vision and commitment to community and driver education! (I would like to thank Paul, Shane R and their entire team at the Vancouver Island Motor Sport Curcuit, and Peter T and Sylvester C for such an amazing vision) A big thanks to Adam M, Sean W, Hayden, Scott Sheers, Dan L and Dave B, Cindy M and Peter T and all the Three Point Team for their help and support! Now as we are Into a new SAFER SUV for my Wife now as well!!!

I own a 2012 BMWX5. Obtaining a service appointment has been difficult due to an inefficient central booking system. A recent recall for a drive line problem resulted in a 3 week wait and I accepted the appointment on May 24th even though it was an inconvenient time for me. I showed up for the appointment and left my car and was mid way home (a 45 minute drive) when I received a call that the part was not in stock and I had to return to pick up my car. In all, I and my ride in the pick up car, wasted 2 hours and of course my car is still not fixed with an other appointment to be decided. The Gain Group has a monopoly on Vancouver Island. Let's hope this is not an indication of the future.
