Vicky (and Touren rims) have been a huge help after a minor problem with one of my rims. They are replacing it even though it is questionable what exactly happened to the rim. (possible my driving) I'm really happy with the staff at Action Car and Truck, they backed up the product they sell which is important when you are paying for higher quality equipment. Don't answer the phone if your not going to be open half hour later to service your customer or let the customer know you are closed for the day when your talking to them on the phone!! Wasted trip I to town and left us searching again for the part needed

Outstanding Service & Great People.....I wanted a winch installed on a 2020 Jeep. My installation was a bit challenging due to a 2019 bumper being on a 2020 Jeep (unknown to me). After Action Car & Truck figured out the issue with my vehicle (which was not easy), they custom painted a special order bracket to make it work. It now looks awesome. Sometimes installs may not go as planned.....what sets people apart is how these situations are managed. These people handled it extremely well....highly recommended! David Lane

My experience with Action was less than satisfactory. First I order a truck cap for my truck. This cap was made of aluminum and checker plate. I thought i was buying quality as it cost me a tenth of the total cost of my truck to get this thing and get it installed. Not even 6 months after install the back light fell off, held in with 2 plastic plugs. That's nothing though. Every. Single. Weld. On the cap is only welded on ONE side of EVERY support strut in the cap. So I have at least one strut that has cracked right down the weld. I also bought a rack from Action. It arrived with THREE different width dimensions built into it and when they couldn't properly fit it they just shrugged it off and made some weak excuse about the box slope, which they measured to order the rack. I had to cut and bend that rack to fit the cap myself. Buyer beware.

Had a hitch installed, and then needed not one, not two, but three changes and adjustments to get it right for fitting with my trailer. The staff were always helpful and knowledgeable, and gave me good information on my options. They found time to fit my small adjustments into their busy day, and didn't even charge me for them. |t's hard to find a place like this anymore. I highly recommend them.

Avoid! Went in for a trailer hitch. They had the wrong wire set and couldn't do the wiring properly. They said they could reorder the wire and I could come back, assuming I have nothing better to do with my time. I didn't drive the car for a few days after and when I did, the battery was dead because what wiring they did install was draining the battery according to the dealership, which is where I should have gone in the first place.

It's been three weeks since I got a new Class 3 trailer hitch installed on my 2017 Honda CRV at Action. I waited until I had towed a few boats around before deciding all was well. It works so now I can say that my experience with the folks at Action was top notch. On installation day, I arrived on time with the Covid 19 lockdown full on. Angie saw me coming and dragged out a chair for me to sit on while I waited. She was all smiles and pleasantness and courtesy. The shop was ready for me and took my vehicle in directly and got the job done exactly as promised. Ray the technician who installed the hitch brought my vehicle out and did a little walk-around with me and told me what he had done. All good. Now, here's the best part. Trent Valley Honda quoted me $1,300 + taxes for the exact same hitch that Action installed for $354 + taxes. Dealing with Action and with Angie and Ray has been thoroughly satisfactory. Top marks from me for professionalism and good cheer.

I went to action last November to have a 3" rough country lift and larger tires installed on my 2016 Toyota tacoma 4x4. At first I was very happy with the service and advice I was given by Brent at the front counter...however after picking up my truck I had only made it 3 kilometers away before I noticed some vibrations between 55 and 75kmh. I turned around immediately and after getting back they put my truck up on the lift the mechanic told me that it was just very minor fitment problems and that the vibration should subside fairly soon however if the did not go away after a week to come back. He seemed to be right because within a week I did not notice the vibrations anymore track I had nearly eight months and now the vibrations are back although I do not feel it all the time it always seem to be in the same speed range between 55 and 75 km an hour. Now I'm left wondering if I should even go back because aside from the vibrations I remember asking them for all the old parts that they would have to remove from my truck. And the day I picked up my truck I was told that nothing was removed except for maybe a couple rusty bolts that had to be cut out. Now I am not to mechanically savvy but I did find out later that they did remove the 2 rear struts and they did not return them to me! It would be nice if you could leave after having mechanical work done and not have to wonder if you've been ripped off!

All the staff at Action are great to work with. I started a few years ago when I dropped in to ask how I could check my truck hook up for trailer electrics. My trailer lights didn't work and I didn't know if it was the truck or trailer that had the problem. The took my truck, checked it free of charge. Not a big deal, I know, but they did it. So I found the problem in the trailer. This fall I go back to accessorize my new Ram 1500. bought several items, some quite major. Last week I went in to enquire about the folding tonneau cover which was coming apart - only 3 months old! No question - they are getting me a new one on warranty. In other words, they are knowledgeable, they listen to you, treat you like a human being and have some decent product at reasonable prices.

Had a automatic starter installed in my van. After it was installed I had to take my van back because my night time lights were hooked up wrong. By end of winter my van would not start with remote. I waited to take it back in November. They replaced the batteries in the remote. Said to try that. Went back van still would not start. They booked it in to reset it. They called said it was ready to pick up and that they tried it 100 times and works every time. I go pick it up and it doesn’t work. Now the manager says she will older me a new remote because it is under warranty. I had not heard anything back from them in a month. I went in to see them the week between Christmas and New Years. Another girl says she will get her to call me. Didn’t get a call. I called two weeks later. Got the other girl again when I called. She said she will get her to call me. Still nothing. My boyfriend went in to talk to them because it was a gift from him. They forgot to order it back in November. Part comes in. Took van in today to get the new remote hooked up. When I went back to pick it up I was told it was not covered under warranty. The lady manager that said it was now says she didn’t say it was. She got a guy from inside the garage to come tell me it is only the part that was installed on my car that it. My son also bought a expensive stereo from them at the same time I was getting my remote starter put in. After they put the stereo in his battery kept dying. They told him it was his battery. He went to PTBO battery and they did a test on his battery and said it had current drawing on it. He still bought a brand new battery from them. Car still kept dying. Took it back to Action car and truck. They said the new battery was no good. PTBO battery went over to see Action Car and Truck. Even though PTBO battery said that they fried the battery they replaced it for my son for free. Thank you PTBO battery for being a reliable place to do business. Action Car and Truck you will never get any business from our family again. I know you won’t get it from friends either. After what my son went through last year and what I went through this year.

3 years ago I bought a new truck and action sprayed my bed liner, in the past 3 years it’s peeled 3 times, got action to respray it, then they advised me to use something to protect the bedliner, i would advise not to get your bedliners done here. They also oversprayed onto the cab off the truck.

This place installed a Bakflip MX4 hard cover folding tonneau on my brand new 2021 Silverado. Excellent people to deal with, Angie was phenomenal. The work was done fast and perfect. When done they brought it out to me and went over every item of functionality on it and I couldn't be more pleased. They also installed the spray in bed liner. Would never go there again!! I asked for led light bulbs for my car. As soon as the sweetie behind the counter found out it was for a car. She says we don’t have it! So I continued to ask her for the the replacement buIb I need. As I can see it plain as day behind her on the wall. So continues to argue we don’t have it! I was also was looking for a few items for my two New Platinum ford trucks. (Tonneau Retrax) But the princess ???? had her ears turned off as soon as she heard car!! I guess I have to drive my trucks There before they will help? (NOT!) Stupid place to shop! Stay away!!
