This place is big-time value for money, and Rod has built a stellar reputation that's well earned. I recently imported a mint Mercedes E55 AMG that, to my horror, arrived badly scratched and dented. Shopped around other detailers but chose Rod’s because lower cost but mainly because of Rod. He was a real pro, walked me through the work he would do, and totally understood how emotional I felt about this dream ride. Rod gave me his courtesy car (no charge other than gas) and when I came back two days later I was nearly in tears. My AMG was immaculate. The paint and body work were showroom new, plus Rod and his team had done a great job reconditioning the leather interior. The walls of Rod’s “Spa” are covered in photos of the beautiful cars he has detailed. You can add mine, and I’ll be back! Rod’s craftsmanship and customer care are worth every penny and more. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: Rod has contacted us and apologized for the miscommunication. When we’d picked up our car, we were very happy with their work. Squeaky clean inside and out just like a new car. We have a friend who has a business near this place and recommended them to us and we can see why now. Just hoped we had a better first impression of this place. Anyways, he was apologetic and the work done was great so we are happy overall.

One word... WOW! Brought my Audi in for a full detail and was completely mind blown with the final results. Rod and his team went above and beyond with bringing both the interior and exterior back to life. Literally restored the car back to showroom condition which is very impressive. They don't skimp on supplies, know what they doing and have great attitude. Re: 2014 BMW M 235 i Expect and receive: a clean car where even the smallest of details are given attention; refreshed and waxy leather that glows with enriched colour; an interior that is in pristine condition, smelling fresh and lively. Expect to see, after cleaning and polishing are completed, an exterior finish that is brilliant, the car is 'new' again. It's wonderful to feel like a proud owner. In the end, good maintenance is a good investment. So, in 6 months Rod will see us again.

I took my car here on two occasions, but was sadly left disappointed. When I came to pick up the car I instantly noticed that the lower bottom portion of the side skirts and behind the front and rear fenders still had excess dirt on them. It could have even been washed off the car with a simple power wash rinse as stuff was just dangling. There was also still brake dust in between my wheel spokes. The car was left "semi-dry", there was still a good amount of water drops all over the car which I had to dry myself at home. It seems they just want to get the wash over as soon as possible and the person who washed my car did not have much attention to detail. Not worth the $60. I was expecting better.

My 30 year old red Alfa Spider was in a sorry state when I dropped it off and by the end of day, it looked like it just left the showroom when it was new. These guys did an amazing job and immediately when I left there I was getting “thumbs up” and beeps from other drivers on the road. I will definitely treat the old lady (now quite young looking) to an annual Spa Treatment as well as regular and professional wash by Rod and his team!

Rod's Auto Spa is magnificent! I have brought my two cars - and my wife's - there for years. I have yet to be underwhelmed. Rod's attention to detail is phenomenal. His customer service is something that others should strive for. Each time I drop my cars off I feel embarrassed for the grime that coats them. Each time I leave, I leave feeling as though I'm driving a new car fresh from the dealership. I love my cars: every tiny mar, every bird-related-defilement, every pebble-scoring hurts me to the quick. I purchase a new car only with a great deal of forethought. And yet Rod and his team understand how much I value these. I would easily pay far more than he asks for the amount of attention to detail that he provides. Go! If you love your car, GO!!! Rod's Exotic Auto Spa has been detailing our BMW's for at least 10 years or more now, and he and his crew have never failed to do an awesome job –– inside and out. Every time we pick up our car from a detail we're knocked out by how good the machine looks: show room perfect and brand new, even if was a 10 year old car. I had shown the scratches to the owner prior to getting the work done. I guess my expectations were higher for what could be accomplished. Yes I know not all scratches will come out especially if my finger nail catches as I run my finger along the paint. But II was told these would not be visible afterwards. They are much improved, as you can see in the before and after pictures. However, they are still visible and I see them every time I get in and out of the car. Also a local shuttle service would be helpful especially since I had to leave the car for the whole day. It was difficult to arrange a family member to drop and pick me up from the shop.

I recently had my fiance's car cleaned at Rod's auto spa after my brother (an automotive tech) told me he was the best in North Van. This isn't a service I'd normally pay for, and I was hesitant to drop off an SUV in a place that otherwise takes pride in detailing luxury sports cars... Rod was very quick to squeeze me in last minute on a Saturday, and after 3 hours, I picked up a car that looked nothing like the one I left there. Years worth of dirt from camping trips, construction sites, and that special hockey gear smell all gone! The car was gleaming, spotless and smelled great. Rod clearly takes pride in cleaning and detailing any vehicle. I can't recommend his service enough, and will be back soon to get my own car done.

Rod was kind enough to fit me in even though I only called the morning of to see if there was time for them to do an interior detailing. I dropped the car off at noon and returned at 5. My car was a project to say the least and Rod's guys did a fantastic job. Very much recommended. Will be back.
