BMW DIY

Nathan did an amazing job painting the side rocker panel on my BMW 535i. The paint matches perfectly with the rest of the car and is extremely smooth and shiny! The turnaround time was unbeleivable and the car was ready in less than 2 days. He was also able to install sound deadening material on the inside of the rocker panel to reduce road noise since the rocker panel was being removed anyway. Nathan's shop is truly professional and underrated considering how good the quality of the work is. I highly recommend Nathan and A1 Unity Auto Collision to anyone looking for a professional paint job and quick turnaround time!

Best auto body shop on the North Shore, great customer service. Nathan (Nate) is polite on it and, I asked for a quote and got is later that afternoon, I mention this because I went to four (4) other auto body repair shops in North Vancouver, asked each for a quote, gave my business card, each promised a quote THAT day, three of the four shops I went back (2-3 days later to follow up, spoke to the same staff and gave my business card and was reassured the quotes would come right away, two never showed up (my email was never NOT working) and the one quote came was just under $2000 for a $500 job, I questioned this and was told because it was not an ICBC claim it had to cost that much to make it worthwhile for their shop. Good news found Nate @ A1 Unity Collision and he was easy and fair to deal with, quality of repair was outstanding & fully recommend, will use again if needed. Thanks

If there were more than 5 stars Nathan would get them. He has been absolutely wonderful and very helpful genuine guy. He helped me every way he could and went over and beyond for things you don't even expect. The whole staff is very nice and respectful and open. We brought our truck in to have the front fender painted. Right from the start, communication was excellent. While the fender was off, a few other issues were brought to attention. We couldn't go on for long enough about just how awesome it was knowing and working with and Catherine and Nathan. I had forgotten to leave a review for way too long now. A 5 star review is just not enough for them. I actually first heard about A1 Unity from family that had some body work done. A1's physical address is hard to locate if you were just driving past Marine Drive/3rd Avenue in North Van as it's so close to the ports. I was unfortunately having to replace my whole front bumper cover. Catherine and I looked at everything in detail when I arrived. There was also the challenge of how to secure the front headlight that was hardly secured by the wiring only to it. Catherine identified the exact bumper cover for my model of vehicle via an intricate software program that is a database of virtually every car in existence and their parts. Being a very curious person, I asked more about the software. She actually said why don't you sit down here beside my desk and look at it. It was fascinating. To me, customer service is most essentially the way you felt when you were there and the way you felt when you left and the type of lasting impression you (hopefully) have from the experience. This experience delivered a strong sense of transparency in that, there were no discrepancies between what she was looking at and what I could've been told slightly differently. It was also beyond the realm of expectations as a customer in the sense that, we expect that we are never supposed to or allowed to be seeing what a business is looking at on their computer. It's all behind "closed doors" to them and from you so to say. There is also an assumption that a customer is never supposed to be go behind a desk at a business for any reason. And typically no business would ever take kindly to that. This really formed a strong personal connection that has made a lasting impact on me months later. Expectations were exceeded when more was delivered than was discussed about. The license plate was repaired from being bent, the headlight was secured and the fit of the seam between the hood and body was as close as you could really ever get to factory fit. They cut us breaks on labour costs of certain aspects of the job. (Details are personal). For months now I've been wanting to have some more body work done such as repainting minor but annoying scratches/dents/markings on my rear bumber. I'm looking forward to seeing them again. I hope they can end up being possibly the best auto body shop here in the Lower Mainland.

Excellence is extremely rare these days. But I found it! I have a Saab and Saab parts require a little more work sourcing (or so I discovered). Craftman Collision told me flat-out, "We don't work on Saabs". In response, ICBC tasked me with finding a body shop willing to work on my car. Awesome.........someone runs a Stop Sign, plows into my car and now I have to beg someone to fix it! Thankfully, I found A1 Unity Auto Collision! It was smooth sailing from start to finish. Saab......no problem. Simple as that. Thank you guys so much for reducing my stress level from 1000 to zero (just for agreeing to fix it) and then repairing it expertly! It was a pleasure!

I had relatively big damages on the front-left and back-right of my CLA, I read the reviews and went to visit them since they were one of the few bodyshops that were open on that Saturday.Let me tell you I cannot be happier and more satisfied with my decision. Nathan did an amazing job in a timely manner. you cant even tell there used to be damages on the car! my car looks new again and most importantly he charged me very fairly (too fair tbh). the staff were also very friendly. Exceptional service, prompt response, professional, honest, zero BS and open on Saturdays. The manager Nathan helped me while I was in a jam - I tangled the truck in a tree during a move so the timing was terrible for me. However A-1 Unity Auto made themselves available and worked with my schedule without any problem. I felt Nathan heard my concerns, empathised and went out of his way to fit my vehicle in. They even delivered the vehicle earlier than promised which was a great relief. The paint job was flawless and in fact it looked better than new. Out of the 3 places I got quotes from, A1 Unity offered the lowest price so I wasn't sure how well this would go. I had a softball sized dent on my trunk, a dent on the rear side panel where it meets the rear bumper & the rear bumper was scatched up and misaligned. They fixed it all up and it looks like a brand new car. It came back cleaned and detailed as well. I'm very happy with their work. I hope I never have to get body work done on my car again but if I do, I would not hesitate to come here again. Catherine was great!

This shop came recommended to me to do some custom body work to my fenders. I met with the owner, Nate, to discuss what I needed done. He took a job that most body shops wouldn't, as it was very complex and required alot of detail and patience. Nate took the time to work with me step by step to ensure we were both on the same page and would end up with exactly what I wanted. He is a perfectionist when it comes to his work and it really shows. I never felt like I was just another number walking through the door. Nate really cares about his customers and making sure he puts 100% into all his jobs. I would recommend A1 to anybody. Even if you dont live on the North Shore, it is well worth the drive. Nate did a great job fixing my truck. There was lots of damage and he was able to give me a rough estimate when I came in and showed him pictures. I brought the truck in and he started working on a list of things to fix. Prices were fair and after seeing the finished product he definitely doesn’t cheap out. His team is efficient with a quick turn around time. One thing I liked was he stuck to the budget and did what he said he was going to do. He even threw in a free paint job for me.
