Brutal, prepaid line out of order, only one person outside running from line to line. Then in the confusion, a driver backs up as instructed and hits another car. I was able to turn around and drive off without a carwash.

Been coming here with my mom and grandfather for as long as I can remember. I used to need the little step by the window to watch the cars go by. I still get a kick out of using the undercar wash in summer (not in winter as that can remove my oil spray). I still remember when I was around 6 I was there pressing the big under car wash button for some random car and this mean old lady started yelling at me. I haven’t seen any children there in years, but if I did I’d probably ask them to press the button for me. I wonder if kids today would find it as exciting as I did... Long story short, this is a great car wash. Best in Ottawa. If your car doesn’t come out right, talk to them and they’ll fix it for you.

Amazing service. Brought in the Jeep for the full package and was floored with how clean it ended up - inside and out. Staff was extremely friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were satisfied with their work (we were). Brought in the Kia two days later and were informed they don’t do the detailing on Fridays but they were kind enough to make an unsolicited exception to that rule. Once again, another fantastic job and amazing customer service. Tops came highly recommended from a friend and they surely didn’t disappoint - an easy 5.

After purchasing the "Tops" I've decided it is better to spend $4 at the self pressure wash on Laperrier and hand dry, tire shine and polish myself. The team at TCW go far too fast and are not detail oriented for the money that is charged. I had to ask to ask them to dry inside the doors and lift the trunk to dry there, and they sprayed the inside of the back widow and left the winds without wiping, the wheels received a quick sponge bath with an Armour-all type product and when I asked them to dry the wheels/rims I was told by someone I assume to be a manager that" if I wanted that level of detail I should go to a place that provides that service". So I will, thanks for the advice.

My partner and I were among the last cars to be taken before close yesterday. While the staff were plenty friendly, the quality of the basic wash left much to be desired. We thought it was because it was end of day and staff wanted to get home but based on previous reviews, a lack of detail is common. I still have some sand on my backseat and took a cloth to clean some crud from around the cupholders myself...

My poor wife brought my truck there to get it clean as a birthday present. She waited 2 hours, spent $110, and all they did is give it a vaccum, clean the outside and make the tires shine. They didn't even bother sweeping the bed, clean nobs and buttons or clean around the mats. See pics. Definitely a waste of money. Pics attached

Hit or miss on the quality of the clean ( mostly streaky windows). I find this happens if you go when it is super busy. A tad expensive as well but overall a good clean if you make sure to catch things like the windows before you leave.

They do complete the job in record time, but your vehicle isn't cleaned properly. I left with dirt marks on my console door, dirt on the inside of my door. Just poorly done. If you're looking for quick, but not necessarily quality...they're good. If you want a quality job, pay a bit more and find a proper company.

Bought The Tops package (my first time) wanting to clean up the interior and mostly the rims of my BMW. The rims have quite a few spokes so they’re not the easiest to clean. Got my car back, drove home and honestly it looks like the rims were hardly even touched. Just threw some shine on and called it a day. When I was there, the front bumper wasn’t even touched (still covered in soap) and I had to ask for it to be properly cleaned. For $50+, I just feel ripped off. Probably going to be the last time I visit.. will have to just do it myself.

If this is the best car wash service in Ottawa, why would they be closed on Sunday?? This is one of 2 days that many people are off work. I can't imagine why you would have a business that would flourish if opened one may day. Other than that, the wash and service is good to mediocre.

I got the full service car wash which includes the exterior wash plus interior wipedown and vacuum. Final product was meh, but you get what you pay for. It was a gift certificate valued at $35 and I think i would have been happier with the results if I got a heavy duty cleaning package. I was in and out in 25 minutes tops which is nice considering I was expecting 1 hour.

We had been going to Tops Car Wash for years but definitely won't be returning ever again. We paid $50 for an exterior wash and an internal clean but the outside was still dirty and the inside was barely clean. When I returned the next day, the manager (Steve Usher) told me that my expectations were too high and that $50 was a cheap wash that didn't touch anything inside except for vacuuming the seats. Even when we pointed out that there was still gum stuck to the mats (cleaning of which should be included in the service i paid for) his reply was that I shouldn't expect gum to come off of the rubber mats? He was extremely rude to us and the job was equivalent to a 5$ gas station clean. When I showed that the outside was still dirty, he offered to "wash" it again but they simply threw some water on the car and it still came out dirty. The manager continued to tell me that my expectations were too high but right after I was done my discussion with him, another customer came up to him with the exact same concerns. It's obvious that their standards and customer service are extremely low as I was not the only unsatisfied client that they clearly didn't know how to handle.

I opted for the full service package for $40.00. I was very happy with the exterior wash and parts of the interior, however, they didn't open the hatch back to clean the window or clean the trunk. The front console and arm rests were not cleaned very well either. I was there at 3:30 pm last Saturday, Oct. 31st, so by this time maybe the staff was tired from an already busy day so although it's not an excuse it could be the reason for the poor cleaning. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them 1 more time but if I'm disappointed a 2nd time I won't be returning.

Good results at reasonable rates. You can pay monthly for unlimited wash plans, which is a great way to keep your car in top shape. The only issue I've ever had is they don't always clean the wheels properly after the machine wash when it's supposed to be part of the monthly "ultimate" price package. I regularly need to ask them to do it—but when I do, they don't bat an eye—they just do it.

I liked them....the lady that ushered the cars in was absolutely wonderful and cheerful. The lady at the cashier station inside was so completely opposite (grumpy and sour faced). They cleaned inside and out THOROUGHLY!!! I am not sure what the whiney complainers on here want or where they go to get detailed but this place honestly does a pretty decent job for the money spent.

Tops offers an excellent exterior wash—far superior to the gas station car washes—complete with both automated and hand drying for a great shine. I have also had a hand wax done here, and I was impressed with the result, though there was some overspreading of wax, which dried white onto exterior plastic parts (e.g. Sirius XM antenna). Despite this, their interior cleaning service is quite poor and lacks attention to detail; I have purchased this three times, and significant sections of my dash, doors panels, windows, carpets, etc. have always been left streaked, dirty, or entirely untouched. So I do recommend Tops, but for exterior services only. I also love that their whole operation is high tech, especially the express lane (for members who pay monthly for unlimited washes), which features automated recognition of your car and preferred service with an ATM-style terminal that allows you to purchase additional services, all billed automatically to a credit card on file.

It'd be great if they wiped off the inside of the doors as well. All and all very quick service and great for the value.

There's splatters of dirt on passenger side door that I felt were not there before I took it to the wash as I'm the only one in my vehicle most times. Will not be returning. I have been supporting this business for many years and for the most part have been satisfied. However recently I've been disappointed with the quality of work. The 40.00 package is worth it, only if the client is happy with the results! I certainly was not. Mirrors and glass had streaks and residue of some sort left on them and a better attempt of vacuuming could have been done. Not a big deal, except you have my 40.00 and I have the results of a third rate sloppy job. Your service bay area is poorly lit for customers to do a quick inspection and only once I'm in natural light does one really have the opportunity to make a proper assessment of the job performed. Where is the quality control? Where is the pride and integrity of a job well done? This place performs a substandard job. I mean really, how hard is it to wash and dry a vehicle properly. TOPS has lost my many years of support!

My mom brought our 6 month old Bmw x4.. The machine that cleans the top and the windshield dented the top of our bmw. The Manager denied it. At first my mom didn't notice ...was indoors at the cash and didn't see the roof right away because she's short and it is an suv. They used this to their advantage...i noticed the dent right away...and have seen that machinery operate before on our BMW having a successful wash with them before ...hence why she went back but this time not so well without me. When I came the next day ..the machine that slides over the top of cars was gone,(removed probably after it fell on our car..i think thats what happen to explain the dent) i asked to see video to see what really happend and if my suspicion to explain the dent is true but "they say" their not a Manager or works there just a sales rep and cannot let me see the tapes? I asked to see the Manager...got the run around ..I think he is the Manager . Now we are trying to come up with $6000 dollars to pay for the damage from our pocket or even deductible . My heart hurts but it's just a car I guess, we worked hard for our money ,guess we have to work at it again, the whole roof needs to be replaced not an easy fix, I guess our car helped other ppl though because that cleaning machinery was removed to prevent further damage to other ppl I hope karma will go after them .

This place by far has exceptional service. You feel good going here. When I get.my car washed it's Special wax and hand drying wheels and rims shined, man I pay 56.50$ a month there. Get the opportunity to GO 6 days a week if I want try that on 13$ a trip to the gas station car wash that your car is half washed an wet when you come out. If you go once a week at 13$ at your gas station it costs 52$. You can go to tops and get professionally done 24 times in the month for 56.50$ a month. Love these guys.

Tops is very well organized and has a good system to get your car wash quickly. However, it's a very quick service and not very thorough. With the "full service" wash, you only get a quick dusting inside, although they do vacuum and wash the windows. If you're just looking to keep your car clean, this will most likely do the trick. If you're looking for a thorough wash of the inside (like the kind you would do yourself), then you'll be disappointed. They do offer extra detailing services, but I have yet to use those.

There was cat fur, dirt, and small coffee spills in my car but after bringing it here and waiting a mere 45 minutes, my car was returned to its former glory and for the extremely reasonable price of $110. So the car was detailed as expected. What I was disappointed about was what I was told over the phone before my appointment. I had asked if there was a place I could sit and do work while I wait for my car. I was told that there was. My time is precious for me, and I was coming on from outside the city. What I experienced was a sitting area in a cold, noisy garage and a WIFI system that was not functioning. Had they been honest with me, I would have made other arrangements.

Though the receptionist is a bid cold, the team did a great job in getting rid of the stains on my mats and the car was very clean. I'll be back. While there are not many entries about this shop, while I was waiting for them to clean my carpets, over 15 cars came through and they use clean rags for each car - you can see the washer and dryer right there with a table full of clean towels.

As I completed an year with Top car wash. They did a great job always before. I have never had issues and complaints about there service. But after reopening now, employees there not paying enough attention to clean. They looks afraid to touching the vehicles. We have 4 vehicles registered under tops car wash on the tops interior monthly plan of our business. Currently getting complaints from all of our vehicles. I attached some pictures taken just after the cleaning. Hoping they will fix this issue soon and become our favorite car wash as they was before. I apologize if this review hurts anyone. I bought a weekly TOPS plan, have used it 4 or 5 times now and each time I've used it, I have to do a quick inspection and ask them to rewash the front of the car to remove the bugs and to vacuum the back of my SUV. They will redo it as requested, and I still leave a tip of $5.00. I'm overall very pleased with the service, they are friendly and accommodating.

Just got the top detail they have. The outsid of the car looked great but as I was driving away I noticed that the console had not been tiutouc, nor the cup holders. Or screens. It looked terrible. I will be contacting them but it is a nuisance that I have to go back to have it done properly. I chose this one for the expediency and it ended up being a total waste of time and money as far as I am concerned. If you go, save yourself money and have the exterior done. Update: I called them and they offered a credit to clean the cup holders. Really ??

I am always happy when I take my car here. The service is great and the Managers are always available to discuss any specific instructions or special services. The prices are very reasonable and I find getting the membership is a great deal. Make sure to choose the right package for what you want done (to avoid disappointments). Sometimes the line up may get long at busy times but don't let that fool you, even in busy times, it moves pretty quickly.

I've been going to Tops for a decade and the quality of this place has gone downhill the last couple of years. Last year they yanked the plastic clip for the mats right out the floor of my car. I went back the next day and they repaired the broken piece, but not even an apology for being careless (but I understand accidents happen). Then this week I went to get a full wash and bit of salt removed from the drivers side but was told they shut the shampoo machine down for the day (even though it was 2 hours before they close), When I asked if I could make an appointment I was told no and it's safest to come back before 3pm. I went back at 2 pm the next day and was told that it would take up to 3 hours to get my car back and that I should bring it in first thing in the morning. Really frustrating and negative experience. I used to buy the multi-pass for Tops but never again.

This is my second visit to Tops Car Wash, and only because I received gift cards. The first visit I was less than impressed with the cleaning quality of both the interior and exterior of my car. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and since I received another gift gift card, I gave them another chance. My last visit on April 27, 2017 takes the cake. My gift card value was for $110. That would be enough for an interior and exterior clean. After being stuck in the lineup outside for 20 minutes, I made it to the booth to place my order request. I was informed of a 2 hour wait for the interior detsiking. All good, when asked if I could pay now and come back later I was told no. The detailing had to be done at the same time as an exterior wash. Whatever, I went ahead. In a nutshell, my car interior and exterior looked like a rush job. Rear bumper was filthy on one side, windows were not rolled down and filthy on the top. My centre console was still dirty, stereo screen dusty, dashboard had dust swipe marks. Front license plate bent and plastic cover broken. Roof rack piece snapped off (able to clio back on and glue), and the kicker of all. The hatch on my 2012 Nissan Rogue which did previously have some scratches, was blatantly scratched across the bottom with a rag that either fell in the ground and had rocks it it or some other type of debris. This discovery made me livid. I have photos of everything and attempted to look for an email address to contact their management or ownership, but was unsuccessful. I have $91 worth of gift card remaining and will never use or recommend their establishment again. After I have the chance to communicate with Tops Car Wash, I will update my review accordingly with response to their resolution. **Resolution** Left a voicemail and received a call back the next day. They agreed to refund me the balance on my gift card (value of $94). While this is great as I won't be using their services again, they had no interest in seeing my vehicle. Left the refund to the cashier and that was it.

I just paid $61 to have my car washed and had to go out when they said it was done and asked the guy to clean the inside of the windows. He did the driver side door and ignored the other ones. Needless to say they are filthy which is why I brought the vehicle in to begin with. For $61, this was definitely not worth it! On a positive note, I can tell you that the girl who checked me in was extremely friendly.

I took my car for a wash , I thought they will clean the interior from winter salt as they said , I paid 46$ the car was washed in 10 mins quickly after an hour the water dried all the black rubber mats were white again , the carpet near the gas panel was full of salt. their service is not bad for a regular car wash , but over priced for what you look for when you pay for extra cleaning.

payed 40$ for the inside out job and they did absolutely pathetic job. Actually they didn't do anything at all inside. The dust was as it is on the rear door handles, rear seats were not even vacuumed, i could see the bits on the seat, all of my door pockets were untouched, it looked like nobody bothered to even look at the backseat area of the car. They cleaned inside fine, guy on the exterior wiped the windshield, did 1 small wipe where the hood meets the wipers driver side only, threw the cloth on the roof and walked away. Did not do the rest of the hood, never even looked at the front grill (dirt was still on the grill where the wash could not get to) bottoms of doors not even touched. And the tires were never wiped down. Found my receipt under my seat. I called and was told to bring the car back to be run through again. The problem is that the floor manager should check with certain guys from time to time. And go over your expectations. Sitting outside we watched all of this going on. And not until getting home and seeing what they did not do, I called.

This is not meant to be your full-service annual detailing, but we brought a very dirty car there for an emergency detailing before a lease return and I was impressed by what they did! I was not expecting the car to be so clean! Honestly, it turned out basically as clean as if we had done a 3-hour detailing. Besides, the guy there was really helpful. We told him why we were bringing in the car and he advised us on what options to get to have a clean car. Very satisfied and highly recommend!

Wow! Great experience! Brought my car here for a full interior cleaning the other day. And it was a mess! Aside from the accumulated dirt and salt from winter, the glove compartment was filled with leaves and there were dried flowers crushed into the floor in the back from a moving 'mishap'... anyways, these guys nailed it! It sparkled when I got it back. The staff were also super helpful. They accommodated me even though I brought my car in one the wrong day... and were so nice about it! I know I will be back (condolences to their vacuum) and y'all should give them a try too.

I could have gotten my car washed better at a 'drive through' car wash. I went to ask why my car, windows and mirrors, weren't very clean. I was told by a manager that it's the best the car wash machine could do. It's a car wash machine and hand dry- not hand wash and hand dry. I thought that after paying $64, my car would be at least Clean. Oh well; lesson learnt.

My concern is now they seem to have closed down because of the virus but they have taken the payment off my credit card. Here's a suggestion please notify your customers on the web or on Facebook when you decide to shut down and how long you're going to you shut down for. Also explain if we are being charged and we can't wash our cars are we to get a credit or what.

However the last 3 times I find they missed a lot of the dusting and back doors they did not remove and mild dirt on vinyl and does not look like back was even vacuumed. Windows had terrible streaking and made it hard to see in the sun. I wanted the carpets and floors cleaned with the detail and guy at the gate talked me out of it because he said they would do all that with the deep clean. Only good job seemed to be on exterior. That was probably my last time. I was an at least once a month customer..

You’re better off with a regular car wash at a gas station and cleaning the inside yourself. I paid $40+ for exterior and interior cleaning. They barely cleaned the inside, only really pulled out the mats and sprayed them down and a light vacuum. They didn’t even bother doing the truck until I popped it open and a guy did a quick once over. They did absolutely no wipe down on the inside and my car was still full of white marks from boots and dust on the dash. Totally not worth the money.

I purchase the monthly package for $80 per month. I drop it for the summer months. The package includes a car was everyday, they do a full wipe down weekly. For me I go 5-6 times per month. Which works out to be a good value. They used to have a summer package for $30 per month. Wish they would bring it back. The staff is friendly, even though I don't tip. On the rare occasion I have not been happy with something they are good to make it right!

TOPS did a very good job in spring cleaning my car. I did had a issue later on where some dirt and salt reappeared on my drivers side and TOPS gladly re cleaned that side for me with no fuss. One thing to remember before reviewing or going to TOPS is that while they do provide EXPRESS detailing services they are not on the same level an auto detailer would normally preform. An auto detailer is on average more expensive, appointment based, and usually booking weeks in advance with work usually requiring several hours to a day to complete. TOPS does not require an appointment and on a busy day can have the work done in about 1-2 hours. Overall TOPS provides a very good service to clean your car at a reasonable price, but if you want showroom perfection than TOPS may not be for you.

As I’ve visited this Car wash in the past the service was quick, not very thorough however it did the job for the most part. I had incurred some damage to my steering wheel when one of the employees used an air gun that caused the chrome wrapping to tear. Upon completion I had noticed the damage and put in a minor complaint. Things happen, no big deal. I’ve tried to avoid returning because I was not very satisfied with their work, utilizing other detail shops, however most detail shops need an appointment and top car wash does not. I returned to the shop today in order to get a wash and I requested to speak to the manager, to kindly ask him if his employees can simply avoid the area in which was damaged in order not to further cause damage. You would think it was a simple request, however the general manager instead refused to do so, and told me his employees were not able to avoid any areas when cleaning and if more damage were to happen that they were not liable. I was shocked that they simply could not just avoid the steering wheel when cleaning. It was not a hard concept to grasp. When I continued questioning the GM on how his employees could not have the simple competency to avoid an area to clean, he denied me and banned me from cleaning my vehicle. Horrible service, horrible treatment. I would definitely not recommend this place at all. They do not care for the well being of you car, and are pretty rude in letting you know that loud and clear. Since the first time I’ve washed my car there I have not returned yet I’ve been to many other washes that were able to easily grant my request. I don’t know why they couldn’t. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I have the monthly membership which allows you to everyday if you want. Car goes through the automated wash, and is air dried, then hand dried and tire shined by workers. I go once or twice a week all year, maybe more in the winter. Had my 250,000 km Honda on the hoist the other day, the underside is free of rust thanks to Tops underbody spray, rinsing all the salt off. Should mention, if you want your interior shampooed but absolutely cannot leave it at a shop for a day, expect it to be very damp after they finish. Being a high production facility, they only have a limited time, and it won't be a perfect job...it is what it is. A detail shop will always leave the doors open with high power fans blowing for a couple of hours to dry it...they can't do that here, and you have to expect that.

Came here march 2014 to get a full interior detailing. First problem, if you just want just the interior cleaned you cant, you have to buy the outside wash that's 34$ to get the super clean interior package so it comes out to about 90$, I also wanted my front carpets shampooed so that was also an extra 34$. So finally whatever lets do it right... My car goes, after 20mins the car was ready... So I figured they had to be good to wash that fast... I enter the car and drive it out the bay to realize its an awfull job. I am very flexible with a few missed spots and often will forget about it... But this place was by far unexceptable. I had dirt on almost every piece of vinyl. All windows had smudges on them, and the center console and shifter boot was still full of dust. First reaction go in and get the manager and show him so he would fix it, here is where I got very mad, He tells me: maybe we should have told you, this is an express wash and your car only gets 15mins to be washed inside... So I said here is what your adds, and service offers say and include : Exterior int, wash, "cleaned vinyls, windows and treated" you can see the packages on there website... and I then said that I could have done a better job in 15 mins, he answers: "well maybe you should have done that" My total cost for the wash was 135$, I got a filthy car with dirt on all vinyls, my rims are dirty, my windows are dirty, oversplash of there cleaning products. Just terrible. Theres places in Ottawa that offer int, ext washes basic for under 40$ and they at least do a better job - the shampoo. I should definitely have read these reviews first and I am super honest to anyone reading this, If you want an interior wash do not come to this place. Its well worth setting up an appointement any where else , where they will actually clean your vehicule, where they wont argue with you because they did an awfull job, and where your not gonna get ripped off, seriously 135$ for 15 mins!!!!!! what a robbery. And to top it all off , there exterior wash is an automated machine and not hand washed, so your paying up to 35$ for the same job as a gas station. I never write reviews for anything and this is a first because I hope to save many from a true rip off, and the worst customer service ive ever had when the end product was awfull. I recommend speedy car wash on bantree , they do an in and out wash for 34$, wiping all vinyl, vacuuming, windows and exterior, Also washed by hand so no missed spots, and the end result is way better, only thing is they don't shampoo but many other shops do that and also do better job then this speed robbing machine on Richmond. This march 8th 2014, I donated 135$ for nothing , save yourself and go somewhere else

I got a wash, wax and carpet clean. When going through the line I was told I just needed the basic wash, since I was getting the other services. When I got the receipt I had been charged for the full $31.99. I asked a woman who I believe was the mgr and she said I had to get the more expensive one. You would think the first person I talked to would have known that. I don't believe he was new. Overall they did a nice job on the carpets. The wax was decent. The priciest car was was not good though. When I got to the car I noticed the windows were all down so I drive away and let them that way. When I put them up all of them were dirty. They had not been wiped properly. The door jams were not wiped thoroughly either If they are going to make you buy the most expensive was with the other services they should make sure it's done right. Overall spent $150. Was jus ok. I will try somewhere else next time.

I bought an unlimited car wash membership. Within a month the car wash was closed twice when I showed up although they were supposed to be open. Also the fastpass line has been closed for a week. So the lineup is insane when I need a carwash. Not worth the money

I have used Tops before and they did a decent job. I had a few coupons that I received from my Father-in-law for free car-washes, that I was using up. I arrived today use my last coupon and also wanted to upgrade (at my cost of course) to get a bit of interior cleaning done. The person at the check-in told me my coupons were no longer valid and they had not been accepted for over two years (despite my having used one less than a year ago). Then they used the excuse that the new owners are not accepting any coupons. What a way to introduce yourself to customers. Have to say I don't think much of the Dilawris who have bought the business. I was going to continue using Tops to get my car washed but won't if this is how they run a business. Thanks for the last 50 years Tops.

I am quite disappointed with their services. I went there first time, I gave them new Mercedes and when car came out of wash, there were so many scratches on its surface, too many. I went next day to complain but the manager became aggressive and started saying I did that which is not true. They did not fix scars on my car. They charged me too much money for full service car wash and also I had to spend much more to get rid of those scratches. They did not clean the car rims properly as well. There were dirt at other parts of car yet they promised for details clean up. I would advice that just do not go by anyone's recommendation if you love your car. This is not a car wash place for expansive beautiful cars. I wish I had gone to dealership. Stay Away form TOPS Car wash if you love your beautiful car!!

Rude staff and completely overrated.For the $35 service (plus tax) all you get is a light vacuum and exterior wash. What a rip off. They wont even wipe your dashboard, clean your windows, door panels etc unless you pay extra. The manager is really snobby and the staff look like a bunch of crackheads. This place could really use some competition.

Honestly. I took my wife's van here and I don't get how they can't vacuum the door pickets and cup holders??? I paid close to 40 bucks and that blows my mind. Like really? You couldn't be bothered to take the hose and suck out those spots? Plus the vacuum job was brutal. I spoke to a guy named I think ROB or Robbie. I think he was the manager and he told me for that I have to buy a certain package and basically blew me off. .avoid this place folks. Go to suds on merivale or better drive to Costco in Quebec buy a 24 of corona and use your own vacuum and clean your own car.

I came earlier today with my mother. When we pulled up, we were originally told it would take an hour. We BOTH heard it. Mom confirmed everything and was then told it should take approximately 45 minutes. Again, we both heard this - all the man said was it would take approx. 45 minutes, start to finish. The man stood outside the booth and talked to us the entire time. Remember this. My mother paid and we both noticed that her car was being taken out of the line up. A bit odd, but okay. We went over to Tim's next door to have a drink and headed back over. My mom's car had barely even been touched - it was only starting to go through the car wash. My mom called them out on it and the first man who talked to her said, no, she must have misunderstood - the man at the booth had told us it would take about 45 minutes before the car was even started and they were busy. That is NOT what the booth man said. The booth man never even mentioned anything of the sort. The first man who spoke with my mother went to chat with the booth man and came back in, saying, yup, she must have misunderstood. This man then proceeded to tell her he was telling the man in the booth - at the exact moment the booth man was talking to us - that they were busy. How could he have been telling the booth man that if the man was outside his booth, talking to us. My mother complained to the manager, who said she must have misunderstood, and indirectly accused her of lying. How can two people, who both heard the same thing (and the man was speaking very clearly), misunderstand something? The men's responses were both inappropriate and unacceptable. The car was cleaned brilliantly, but it does not forgive their behaviour. I understand defending your employee - that is, if they are in the right. However, this employee was not and then lied about it. I am disgusted and unfortunately, seeing as Tops is the only car wash of its kind in Ottawa, there is nowhere really else to go.

Independently owned business. Friendly and personable. I was there on a busy day with a huge line up of spring cleaning. The site is not big but they definitely used every inch - fun to watch the army of staff do their work.

Having paid for the full package - everything top to bottom, I must say the portion where they "detail" the car was mostly omitted. Don't expect to get a proper detail as they do not wipe dust and grime off any of the AC vents throughout the car, nor did they wipe the cup holders in the back, or any of the door panel controll buttons or door handles for that matter. When I folded my rear seats, loads of crumbs and debris were found untouched and grime was found on the rails of all rear seats. No doubt staff and everyone are nice, however they let me know they don't use brushes for anything (only compressed air), and that they dont offer the kind of "detail" that Im expecting. Well folks its called a detail, and for $350 you missed damn near all of the details. Aside from this, I would reccomend every service they have to offer.

The process went quickly and I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The inside windows were still streaky and I will have to go over them myself. At $35 I would have liked clean windows. Vacuuming and outside wash were ok.

I'm pretty disappointed with their newer policy of turning away fast detailing services even when they are not busy. I get it sometimes they are too busy but when there's 10 guys standing around doing nothing and no cars in line it's pretty bad business to turn away service. I vented my frustrations to the staff and they don't really seem to care. I called to complain to management and nobody got back to me. Sent an email and nobody got back to me. Once my last prepaid card is done it's over for me with these guys.

Been here and really didn't like the service for the price paid. Line ups are insane on a busy day, they rush you through the car wash and forget the interior clean. Poor vacuum job, spots on the windows missed, entire half of my dash missed. Not impressed, save your money and do it yourself on a nice day! lol

I use TOPS to get the salt and crap cleaned off the car about once a month thru the winter -- just costs about $15 for the basic exterior wash -- the machinery does a decent job, and the hand dryers are usually pretty good at taking care of the details (windows, door-frames, locks, etc). Those automated car washes at some gas stations are pretty minimal, and in the winter, usually produce frozen doors and locks. For the price, TOPS is probably the best you're going to get around Ottawa. PS. the Express Lane is rather annoying to the rest of us waiting patiently in line.

I hated rockland and will never buy another pizza by Dominos again I ordered a pizza from them and the lad said it would be delivered in 45min after the timeline I called to see when my pizza was arriving the Female Manager said they were not delivering pizza to me I put up a fuss to why there was no explanation giving well I call back several times to see why is it was just very confusing and she called the police which arrived and domino's had asked them to come and tell me to stop calling and if they had to come back I would be arrested they had not asked me to stop calling,,, as I was evicted from my camp ground and one of the things stated in the eviction was the police being sent by Dominos to the camp site

What a terrible service! Paid $50 for outside wash and basic interior vacuum/wipe down and I can still write my name in the dust on my dashboard. Extremely disappointed. Will never visit here again.

Paid 162$ to get a full detailed clean. All looked good till I got home to get a better look...never again!! Vacume job was good Even though they didn't get in between my seats and console...smelled nice at least but as you can see wax and tire cleaner was not impressive in the least as well as the trim on my back side window gone missing ???????????? UPDATE: After calling them and explained why I was a disgruntled customer they had me back the next day to fix the issue. The manager took the car himself and had the full detail done again and inspected the car after every job completed (wash, wax, vacuum and interior wiped down). Was very pleased with the job done. Would go back again to give them a second chance

I was impressed last time I was there but not so much today. Lots of water spots outside and I had to clean the inside when I got home. The dash and windows were done but the door jam and plastic close to the floor were still full of mud and salt stains.

Most disgraful business I've ever been too, Won't even clean the soap off the truck, No appreciation for busniess think twice before going there they don't care about you or your busniess a complete joke of a business, fraud fakes and scam artist, 47 dollars for a car wash and they don't rinse the soap off........... Edit perfect thanks you for admiting its joke of a busniess "we don't rinse the soap off the bed of the truck" a car wash place that admits will fill the truck with soap and not wash it off good on you guys, it's a new truck not asking for a detail simply to rinse the soap off. You don't do your job business is a joke and you know it at least, correctuon was a 52$ car wash folks and don't rinse the soap off, pretty simple, you create enemies for no reason, takes 15 seconds to rinse off the soap out of the bed, 15$ car washes will rinse the soap off but a custom one at top end prices won't, good on you guys, and rather loose thousand of dollars worth of business over 15 sec rinse doing their actual job of cleaning a truck, super smart

Been going to tops for years and had no issues. I went in today and got the tops and the interior super clean. All of which cost me $122. When I got my car the interior was not done well. There were still paw prints from my dog on the center console, and some dirt on the inside of the doors. Now the outside was well cleaned but my car has some new scratches on the hood and paint chips which were 100% not there when I took my car to them. I went back and spoke with the manager (some man in his fifty's with a beard) he didn't apologize or offer anything. Even told me that the chips and scratches were there before I went which is not possible because I look at my car in detail before I get in daily. Point is I will not be returning. I waited two hours for a poorly done job and poor customer service.
