Update: From my recent visits this year, wash and vacuums are kept in working order and is a nice place to spray down your vehicles for cheap! I would recommend this place to the other coin washes around town. No complaints. Good improvements since my first review. ------------------------------------ Third time here this week.... Bays are still down, automatic bays work fine. Vacuums have no suction, seems to be either full or blocked up from people vacuuming water or spills from their cars. I don't recommend this place so far... I'll try again next week!

I went through the full cycle.. pre soak, wash, wax, normal rinse and spot free rinse.. in the end I had to hand wipe down my car and I still have dirt all on the bottom skirts and about 2 feet off the bottom of my car... definately would not recommend this place. Go get a full service car wash somewhere else.

Paid $14 dollars for full service wash and ended up paying $ 15 dollars with no change back. Then I came out of the car wash... with my car looking worse than when it went in. Not happy ????. Do not waste your money here!

This is my preferred car wash locally. The automated bay is touchless and has a number of options for a quick clean, with manual wash bays for more intensive cleaning. The value of the prepaid cards makes things more cost effective. Since taking it over a few years back, the current owner has invested in a good number of upgrades and service improvements. I've had some issues on previous occasions with reloading the prepaid card, but each time the owner met with me to set things right again. I understand from them that there have been some issues with equipment at the facility (e.g. weather related events causing disruptions) that resulted in expected issues for customers. I am certain that if people contacted the number posted at the facility they would similarly find him quick to resolve the matter and ensure customer satisfaction.

The automated touch free wash is one of the best values around. Does a great job for $8-$10. The bays however don’t provide a great value. It takes $10min to provide a sufficient wash plus the manpower to hustle against the clock. If you are going, make sure to use the automated wash

I was a bit weary about going here after reading the negative reviews but in all honesty this place was fabulous. The prices were very reasonable, I used a credit card to pay with no problems. The machine pays extra close attention to the lower half of the car and I was impressed by how much salt and grim it cleaned out of the rims. The drying machine did two passes over the car which I've never seen anywhere else. The whole experience was beyond my expectations and I was really quite pleased. Would definitely recommend!

Tried using the outside vacuum and it wouldn't suck, switched it to shampoo and no soap would spray and was a complete waste of money.

UPDATE - there is now 2 transactions posted to my Mastercard - Nov 20/26. I was able to confirm that I was in Cambridge at the time my card was used on the 26th and I have put in an investigation. BE CAREFUL Platinum car wash is a joke, see for yourself.... Was nothing special at all... Not going back again

Bad experience with the payment machine and phone calls to office saying the number not reachable. I had to use the automatic wash and inserted $20 cash and selected $8 car wash. Machine said it cannot give back the balance and that I can contact the phone number of the receipt. I have been trying for so many weeks and the phone number is never reachable. And there is no attendant on location to talk to!!!

Only one self serve stall was open, very dirty facilities, vacuum destroyed and not operational. Absolutely no water pressure. Charged my card $4 and I got nothing for it. Tried to call the number on the building (same number on Google), got an automated message "this number cannot receive calls, please leave a message..... this mailbox is full and cannot receive any new messages, goodbye" - will be disputing with credit card company. Stay away!

The port where you clean your car is full of garbage and debris. The machine to get change is broken or not working. The port I was in the third one the hose for the foaming brush was broken I had out in $11 due to the issue with the brush I had to deposit more to finish the wash. There is no tri foam which is the klearcoat. Over all you can tell no one maintains this car wash at all. Sad because the nozzle is one of the better ones .

If you're looking for a fast do-it-yourself car wash you'd like this one. I can wash the car within the min time without paying extra. Take your own paper towels and glass cleaner I'd you want to finish it off nicely. There's clips to hang up your car mats to clean too. Only takes loonies and toonies.

Put $6 into the first bay car wash and.... nothing. It took the coins and did not accept them. No one available on site to talk to. Basically it just stole my money. Also have done the touchless car wash, selected to print a receipt but there was no paper in the machine. So basically no record of ordering the wash through credit card. Luckily the touchless car wash worked. Would not come back, seems like a shady operation.

Absolute waste of time. I swiped my bank card and the machine told me select an option, NONE of the buttons worked. I clicked vacuum and the timer started counting but the vacuum never started up. I made a mistake and swiped my card again in case I did something wrong and still nothing. I look at my online statements and it shows it processed a transaction twice.

Could just be the worst coin wash I've ever been to. They got rid of their trash cans which I guess is somewhat tolerable. But now theres garbage all around in their wash spots... Also 2 of them didn't even work (one had a sticker on the coin insert and the other was leaking fluids from the roof which resulted in no pressure to the gun). Very displeased.

This place charged my Credit Card 4 times in one day, my bank was notified and is currently disputing these charges as I was literally in Toronto that day. The owners excuse was I had no internet, yet all my other payments went through. Owner has also not returned calls after inquiry even my bank is questioning how they are able to ping my CC 4 times in one day. I'll stick to the Shell Car Wash going forward, does a far better job. Told the owner I literally havent been there since February and he hasn't returned a single call since the day of transactions. Was a nice place to wash your car but even then it doesnt always clean the car either. June 2019, Noticed there was a reply. I did contact the owner, stated I will be disputing it as I was literally charged while in Toronto, my bank verified past charges which were correct. Money was returned. It's funny after reading reviews its happened to a lot of people.

I have been using this car was for the last 25 years. At one time it was the best. Hot water, very quick to switch from soap to rinse and the soap used worked so well. Now it is the most rundown carwash around. No hot water, chemicals that don't work and take forever to switch. Today I went, used a credit card to start it up and the nozzle was frozen in the holder. The bay next was smashed. I assume someone else was more upset than me. So I am out $4 for nothing. I won't be returning....ever!

I've been before to the touchless portion of the carwash and have always selected the Bronze wash. I was out yesterday thinking it would be nice to get a wash during this Corona stuff. This time I thought I would splurge for the Gold wash, but got home, looked a the car and was super dissapointed :( waste of money. One other thing looking at other reviews, I got the gold that is supposed to have the tri-colour foam, it did not have that. But wouldn't mater if my car came out clean.

Tried the touchless wash for first time. Wash was great, but the dryer was useless. My truck was soaked whole 1 side, passenger side. My big drying towel wasn't even enough to dry it,had to do another car wash elsewhere to get water marks off. Dont waste $14

Another touchless car wash that is an absolute waste of money. Left my MDX dirty. Taking my garden hose to it at home for 5 minutes would have left it cleaner. The dryer does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I will never visit here again.

I’ve lost track of the amount of money I’ve spent here only to realize one of the washes is broken for various reasons. Broken hoses, lack of pressure, broke handles, all bays shut down as a whole, double charges on my card, no wax left, etc. I could keep going, I’d give this place a 0 star if I could. The most recent incident was a broken handle on the pressure washer which left no pressure, which of course was not noticed until after payment.

Just "washed" my car there today and it doesn't look like it was washed at all. The sides of my car still have debris on them which I had to wipe off manually with a cloth. When my car dried there were water marks all over. This was my go to place for car washes. I come here once a week and not have any problems. This is the second chance I gave it since the last time I went and had the same issues as I did today. Paying 14 dollars for the premo cycle here isn't worth it anymore, couldn't be more disappointed... what happened?

This car was is terrible. We pay cash at the touchless and it fails to give change back. The dryer does not dry the car. The sprayers don't get all the dirt off the car. Not worth going. This may have been a great business at one point but now it not maintained and doesn't do what you pay for. STAY AWAY!!!! It may be cheaper but it's not even worth the money.

Been there twice, the first time, the machine took my money - this was about 6 months ago - no number anywhere to call. Then noticed they tried to fix it up so thought I would try again today. Put five bucks in the machine and the high pressure soap didn't work. What a joke of a car wash. Also filthy bays, and the clamps don't even hold mats. A complete rip off. Better off using your garden hose at home with no soap - get the same outcome.

Always bring my vehicles here to self wash. Love using the credit card swipe and just wash at my own pace - no rush to keep putting in change. Owner was helpful when I didn't understand a charge on my credit card from this location late in Nov and I appreciated his honesty in explaining why his merchant services delayed payment. After checking over my statements it was true and I took the time to look into it before bashing this place with a negative review from ignorance.

This place is a scam. Don't use your credit card there. Or better go to a different place. They charge multiple times after a single wash. They also sometimes charge for more time than actually used even if you press Stop after you are done. Also, they don't return calls, so you will not be able to work this out with them and you will not be able to dispute these transactions with your bank because the system says that card was present.

Be aware, this place is overcharging your credit cards. They've charged my master card 4 times every time I would go to wash my car. I've tried to find someone to talk to about that but couldn't find a person and there is no phone number posted anywhere. I am not going to go to this place ever again.

These people need to shut the place down. They're knowingly ripping you off. Have a phone number that can't receive calls and the voicemail is full. Nothing works there. They're losing money, so they steal ours in the process. Do not out cash in the automatic, they don't keep chang in the coin return. Someone needs to call the police on these crooks.

I used to enjoy coming here for decades to get my car washed without any issues and was utterly shocked to find all three DIY bays out of order. One of them was missing the coin machine and I really should have left at that point for a more dependable and reputable car wash down the street. The only thing working was the more expensive automatic wash advertised at $6 on the signage but when I pulled up the machine said $8. I came prepared with change and reluctantly inserted two $5 bills since the coin slot was jammed with coins and got a receipt saying 'no change available. Now I am out a measly $2 and the wash was not all that good. Understandably trying to survive as a business these days is very difficult and costly but ripping off customers and not even attempting to maintain equipment or service is a sure sign that this place needs to be shut down permanently. Please, please, please! don't waste your time or money at this location. There are others that actually care about their customers and value them and don't make excuses or put the blame on something else. Absolutely horrible and frustrating experience that has me spitting nails!!

Place only seems to be open about 60% of the time, at least from my experience. Even when it is open, if you pay with cash, you'll likely not get your change back and/or your receipt. I'm done trying to get a car wash here. There's better options out there.

There is a $4 minimum to start. Take extra coins because it randomly won't accept some. It wouldn't accept a loonie of mine and since I didn't think to take an extra, I was very lucky that the guy in the next bay had an extra to swap me. I didn't see a button to get my coins back either so if not for the guy in the next bay I would have had to leave without most of my $4 and with a dirty car! I definitely wasn't going to use plastic after reading numerous terrible reviews on here from others who used credit cards.

No zero star option. The automatic wash doesn't even remove the soap it puts on your vehicle. The dryer is also very weak. The worst part is that when you're vehicle stalls in the bay and won't restart, calling the 'Emegency Contact Number" signed in various places around the property gets you a full voice mail box that won't take messages. Texting the same number results in no response too. Spend $2 more elsewhere and get something better supported.

I went to use this wash for the first time for a 6 dollar wash, and unfortunately the machine was out of order. However, I called the number that is posted on the back wall of the building, and spoke to the owner/manager of this wash facility. He was quick to respond back, polite, and apologetic, I was given two free top washes. Thanks for my first “re-wash”, it was great! I definitely will be coming back soon.

Needs a lot of work. It's aging badly. Money taking machines very often steal your money and you have no recourse for refund. Change machine from bills to coins does not work most of the time. Owners obviously do not care. I have no choice to go there, since there are no competitors nearby. Garbage is piled up everywhere. Go somewhere else if you don't want a nervous breakdown. Totally unacceptable on 2019. A total money grab. Hope things improve soon.

Everything was nice and clean. There was a note on the change machine stating that people are committing fraud with fake money. Therefore, I was under able to get change. There was an automatic car wash there as well, so I used it with my bank card. This location has been around since I was a kid. Has always had good pressure and been well maintained. I will go back in the future...... with change in my pocket
