The wash itself is good when everything is functional. Generally not every aspect of the wash is working, but even so it's one of the better cleaners in the tri city. However, there have been a few times I drive out there just to find it's closed for maintenance or something. They never answer their phone and their online presence is never updated, so I can't ever check if they are open without driving 15 minutes over there. Hence knocking off 2 stars for wasting hours of time over the last couple years

A Soft-Touch car wash that offers a great value on the monthly wash passes! Only way to go, especially if you’re going to wash your car more then twice in a month! Friendly staff and just like all the other Valet locations, they offer free vacuuming after your wash. However, they could activate the 'fire turtle wax' (red foam) more, as all the other Valets that offer it pours out, this one just shoots bubbles out and it doesn't actually hit your car as much, just seems silly. Only down side other than the 'fire turtle wax', is during the winter months once the temperature hits below -5c, don’t expect it to be opening at all times through out their business hours. It’ll be down hours at a time throughout the day to de-ice the equipment. Understandable since it’s cold and things freeze, though I believe they need better newer heaters/water heaters with their sites. I’ve operated and maintained many gas-station car-wash sites and none have ever been closed this many times a day even when it’s -35c out ever to be de-iced. Touch-less wash sites the doors are closed per car, so those don’t really have icing problems. But even with a line up of cars non stop with doors opened. The water heaters for the water used and heaters in the wash along with by the bay doors were always enough to melt any ice within it. Other than that, 4 stars due to equipment but awesome place and price to wash your car. Not the staffs fault at all! Just older equipment and weather! One neat thing is they update their FB quiet quickly and it’s their source of getting their status out there! So like and check their FB regularly. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been here a few times as a last resort the free vacuums are great, saves me a couple dollars from h2go or Esso. Unfortunately, the dryer at valet is no good. It’s way to fast, I usually pull out of there with water everywhere, hand drying it with a microfibre cloth is the only options, but that usually adds a lot of time. I left once without doing it and there was water spots all over the hood. I always get the premium option with the lava thing I believe they call it yet leave sad with the water left on the car. I get it, it’s a high volume car wash, but I feel as if paying the premium should allot me some extra dryer time, unless they’re just no good. Anyway, decent place to go, just don’t be too fussy about your paint or the water spots.

So...after that long drive, l had to turn around Four time within two months after that long drive due to maintenance. There isn't anyway to check if the Car wash is closed beforehand (rarely answer Phone). No email blast to the customers'.

It provides lot more than just car wash!! This premise also provides FREE vacuum to clean out interior of your car. There is a mat washing station as well. All you need is to get there with few cleaning clothes in your car. Get your car wash first and then do all interior cleaning. All these things can be done at 1 facility. The rfid stickers placed on the windshield with a yellow color is really a bad idea..it entirely makes your car look like a car for ad..kindly make the card system though the rfid is sustainable or find a alternative color like white or black than yellow. Or place the stickers on sides rather that at the center of the windshield.

I bought the most expensive wash, and I did not wash my vehicle very well. Bird pooped on my vehicle and I drove right to the wash, the poop was still there when I left. Was going to go back and inform them I wanted to go through the wash again but did not have the time. This is not the first time it hasn't washed I had been there previously twice and same thing. I was hoping the third time would be the charm but no. I'm sure people have had good experiences with them, but I have yet to have one. Unfortunately I will have to find a different car wash to go to.

Went thorough the car was and it left an oily substance down the entire length of the passenger side of my truck. Went through again and it added more. Not impressed. I wont be returning nor would I advise anyone else to use this car wash that leaves your vehicle dirtier then when you came in.

Utterly unsatisfactory experience, Staff were consistently ill- mannered with the assistance towards members. Moreover, i usually go there to wash my car it was working perfect but cheap price does not mean good quality. Last time after the wash i noticed there were so many scratches on my car (Both sides - pictures attached). I simply told their manager that there is something wrong with your brushes but manager was not accepting that it was their fault. Especially when you get after someone’s dirty car then definitely you will notice lots of scratches. I would suggest you all to do not buy membership if you love your car. Its better to wash your car at other places with more money. Would never recommend this to any of my friends, family or colleagues.

I'm really trying to like this place but there are some obstacles. Their basic car wash just does not clean, it's almost a complete waste of money, the main brush stays up and none of the bugs get removed from the windshield. I love the look and feel of this place but I have to go down the street to a competitor on Victoria Street in Kitchener to get a proper wash. Their main brush is included in all washes and I think for Valet to include that would be a proper wash. PROS - Clean beautiful place - Very fast - Good Security - Free Vacuum Cleaners CONS - Very poor cleaning on basic wash, competitor does it cheaper and better. - Vacuum cleaners have very poor suction compared to competitor. - Vacuum hoses are not long enough and are barely useable for mini vans. - The pay screens at the entrance are exceedingly difficult to see on sunny days. - They do not take cash, my father in law will not go there because of this. CONCLUSION I did buy their monthly pass for $9.99 plus tax but will be cancelling it because I can get a single wash down the road for $5 bucks and they include the main brush. You have to talk to the attendant to get that deal. I would have to pay $14.99 + tax = $16.93 at valet per month to get the top brush but I would rarely ever exceed a few washes per month so I'm not sure it's a deal for me. Like I said... I like the clean place and nice facilities, I would love to give valet a 5 star review but at the moment they have some work to do to get there. When the wash is open, it's good. But too often the wash is closed during business hours for repair. Be aware of this if you purchase a monthly pass and think you will be able to wash your car on a regular basis. They will often put a sign out stating when the wash will reopen but frequently it won't be open at the stated time.

I had someone steal my credit card, and make purchases on it, I contacted Valet to let them know my payment won't be able to be taken the month of February because my bank canceled my card and issued a new one. They were amazing, and pleasant to deal with. They were very understanding of my situation, and made this whole ordeal much less stressful as I need 3 business days for my new card to come in the mail to my local bank. Definitely appreciate their understanding and contacting me back to assure me it's okay, and just get them my new credit card information when I can. Amazing place! 5 stars. I would like to also mention, the car wash does a great job, and the price is really reasonable. My go to car wash.

Great light touching cleaning car wash. Excellent for daily cleaning of small to medium cars. With big cars, usually you have to run through it two times, but it still worth the price you pay for the membership. Vacuuming in the end of the wash is included in the price with unlimited time, but you have to do it by yourself. Remember to not go into it with loads of ice or snow that would be over your car, it can damage the other cars, operators or even the machines. Safety and respect in first place. I recommend it.

Great service. Even when it's lined up to the street, you get through quickly. I have the $20/month unlimited package. It's so nice to be able to go anytime I want a clean car. Minor complaints: • The free vacuums have such little power it makes you wonder if they're working • No outdoor hoses to wash car mats I was nervous at the concept of a drive thru car wash because so many others I'd been to have done such a bad job but I'm very happy with the clean this gives my car.

I like that they offer a cheap packages on a monthly basis that gives you almost unlimited car washes. My car comes out looking great each time and the wash is thorough. I do wish they would change a few things. First, it would help if they installed a mirror so you can better align your vehicle's tires to the track in the wash. Second, I wish they would open both lanes during busy periods as cars sometimes wait on the road. Lastly, I notice each attendant doesn't check what type of wash package you have. I have definitely received a lower wash package than what I pay for on a monthly basis.

Last Fall I purchased a "Keep Kleen" pass for both of my vehicles.. This is an unlimited number of passes at the Car Wash....meaning that they stayed clean all winter....The staff are all prompt and friendly...the wash is always great....One of the best establishments I have ever dealt with Great Wash & Great Vac's make Valet the best in the area Hands Down I will never let my pass expire! The value of a great car wash is what keeps me coming back. However, the constant vacuum problems are starting to upset me. I use the location on Victoria St in Kitchener and have been since they opened. I was there today and 8 of the vacuum bays were close and only 6 had actual vacuum suction. I went to three different bays in order to vacuum my car only to have to finish it at home. This has been an ongoing issue and now it’s getting a little out of hand. For once, I would love to relive the early days when they first opened and every vacuum worked properly. Fix this and you have a repeat customer as before.

There's been enough maintenance to just about repair every part in the building! The quality of wash with a truck is quite poor about the only thing valet car wash has going them is the cheap price of their membership but it's not worth!

BE WARNED, if you buy multiple car washes they expire. I tried to use one of the two remaining washes I had when I found this out. I asked if I could be given an exception and was told no, instead he said if I spend $50 on more washes he would throw in two free ones. This is not good customer service or customer retention in my book. There's much better car washes around town..... This one just happened to be one of the cheapest, but I guess you get what you pay for.

This place is good. They have a place where you can dry your car off, vacuum, clean your matts etc after you go through the wash. You can also go back up to 72 hours for a free rewash. Suds does not even do this. The wash cleans your car. It is very much like Suds.

Great offer right now! Spend $19.98 for a car wash card for unlimited car washes for one month. I bought my ticket for a premium car wash at 19.98, drove through the car wash, went into the office to buy a card, paid an extra 2.00 tax and they gave me a card. The car wash premium card included that wash I had just gotten! Bonus!! The only catch is that you are pre-authorizing your cc for one month at a time! Keep tabs on due dates and cancel 3 or 4 days before you want it to stop. This is such a good deal, I likely will keep it going for a while.

If you go, dont waste your money on the high end washes. You get about the same results as the cheapest one. I still had lots of dirt and salt draining down the sides and back of my car and the brushes dont even wash the back end of your vehicle. It's just not worth it to spend more than the cheapest wash

This is one of the most disappointed places. They say they open at 7 AM. But, unfortunately most of time this place has some trouble with their machineries at 7 AM. I have been to this place many times at around 7 AM. All i found a sign saying Close. I ask the employees who work there. They don’t know anything and in fact they don’t give any attention to customers. Management there is really poor. Also, many of their vacuum cleaners operate quite poorly. I don’t understand why they charge too much if they can not give proper services to the customers. They are looting the people by all means.

Purchased the Deluxe wash to clean off the winter grime. The rinse and dry was unacceptable for $22. It left soapy residue all over my car which froze immediately as it didn't dry properly. I didn't have any snow on the car to impede the wash either. The wash itself was particularly rough as well on my car, the brushes way too aggressive. I had to pull over and scrape the frozen soapy water off my windows just to see through them. I ended up going to my usual car wash to properly clean my car. So all in all I paid three times the amount of a deluxe wash because this place did such a poor job. Save your car and your wallet and go somewhere else.

Great value if it was ever open. The past 4-5 times I’ve attempted to go there over last two months it’s been closed. Understandable when it’s so cold and breaks, but they refuse to recoup you with anything for the days it is broken. Also a better way to notify customers it’s closed, such as through an email campaign would be a lot more effective than Facebook, which I haven’t used in years. Update: April 15th, 2019 Well I took their weak advise and checked Facebook for updates on closure prior to driving 20 minutes to get a car wash... Sure enough, they were closed, no updates on Facebook between time I left and 20 minutes to drive there.. great system/solution in place ????????

I pay for the top wash package and at least 1 in 3 washes I only get part of the service. No soap at the beginning, no under car wash an no paint protection. Sure when I mention they put me through again but I actually have more to do than spend twice as much time to get what I paid for. Thought I would go early yesterday morning (7:10am) in case volume was screwing up sequencing. Only car there....same deal. I had to go to work so didn't run through again. COME ON GUYS...I have actually referred 3 others to you who are now monthly customers!!! Not sure if I will hear anything on this but sure is FRUSTRATING. UPDATE: As stated in initial review I am impressed with this wash. Despite my "minor" frustrations I stand by that and certainly appreciate the owner taking the time to respond. I have actually recommended them to my friends and coworkers and 3 have made it their choice also. The issue of the morning wash we will agree to disagree on but this will not be enough to dissuade me from making it my go to carwash and will continue to recommend.

I use this car wash all of the time and it does a great job. Just last week I went through it and one of my factory installed roof racks was torn off. I was told by an employee that they should have disengaged the top brush for any car that has a roof rack and likely the employee who put the car through forgot to do this. I asked for payment to replace my roof rack and the manager / owner refused saying there was likely damage to the roof rack before I went through (which I can verify wasn't the case). Very disappointing and I will no longer use this car wash.

This is the only wash I will use in Kitchener. There is no better deal anywhere. I wash whenever I want for less than $20 a month. I was paying much more at the gas stations. It is also the only wash that cleans my SUV properly. Friendly staff as well. I have seen them help someone boost a customers' dead car battery. That's service.

Waited 20 minutes at opening of car wash for staff to remove debris from track. There were 4 employees looking at the problem while one was carrying her coffee around. People were honking and one irate customer got out of his vehicle to see what the problem was. The attitude of employees were of no concern or care to upset customers. Last week I attempted to get a car wash and it was closed for maintenance which appears to happen every week.

Went through this car wash with a new vehicle and left now with figuring out how to repair the scratches it left all over my passenger side. I did not notice until I was home, tried to call business but told no manager was available until mid week to respond. Going to make a police report and inform my insurance to see what to do moving forward. If anyone else has visited this location today check to see if there are any scratches too. Do not use Valet drive away!

I've been coming here for at least 10 years. I won't use any other wash. I do not have a membership as I only wash once per month and purchase gift cards. I wrote this review because I felt it was necessary to share what I saw yesterday when I went into the office to purchase another card. A first time customer had signed up for a membership and going through the wash had his front license plate holder come right off. Horrible clip design from what I could see. The manager took the time to get his tools from his car and reassemble this customer's license plate and holder. He then reattached it for the customer and we all suggested he take it back to the dealership for new snap in clips. I was impressed with the dedication to his service, I expected nothing less from what I've witnessed over the years. Good job.

This place is great value for its money. I do have one concern, Valet only has one set of automatic car washing system but offer 4 different packages with different perks such as rim wash or wax. However the system is not smart enough to automatically adjust the service for customer who paid for different packages. The customer service people who works there from time to time do not change the setting for different customers. So two things happens. customer who paid for basic package are getting the premium wash and customer who paid the premium package are getting the basic wash. This is unacceptable and defeats the purpose of getting the better package. I have had this problem occurring to me multiple times and planning to switch to the basic package. I demand an explanation from the owner on this issue. Thank you for writing back to me. Now I understand how it works. I apologize if i made wrong assumptions about how your system works. i haven't received the wrong car wash lately. Management definitely stepped up their game.

This car wash is hands down the best bang for your buck. I enjoy my $20 (the most expensive option) unlimited pass, no hassle. Some tips to address some complaints: Be careful when you vacuum—if you let the cord go over your car when you are vacuuming the other side, it will leave (light) scratches on your car. Not the car wash’s fault though. Car wash is shut down frequently in bad weather (super cold, heavy snow, etc), more than I would like. However, they are back up very soon (usually the day after). They post on Facebook f they are shut down, so check this before you go if the weather has been terrible. The day you go to cancel is the day you have to forfeit your unlimited pass. So go a couple days before your next payment if you want to use up what you paid for.

Fantastic wash! Don't listen to people like Sean Johnstone. Valet has washed my cars many, many times and I have never received a scratch nor have I had any damage to my rims. How would a business that washes cars still be open if they scratched vehicles? They do a good job, have free vacs and a mat cleaning station. The staff are always friendly and polite also. I'm washing my cars for $15 a month each for unlimited washes. No one can beat that! Also, be wary of the many fake accounts on here giving a 1 star. Yet they 5 star the competition who in my opinion has a far inferior wash. Thanks Valet.

Feb 15, 2020. This car wash breaks my wiper and scratch my car. I show them the result right after coming out from their car wash. The manger admits that the car wash did the damage, but he denies to pay or refund for that. Shame on them. I decide to cancel all services for two cars right after. I had the same experience like Colin. I came in 4th December at 930am in the morning. No attendant was there. I move onto tracks and he comes out angrily saying I should not do that - I apologized right away and he kept on being ruder and ruder. I requested him several times to change his tone but he stood there shouting he will make sure I don’t come back. Even after the car wash I went back into the office to apologize and request to treat me like a customer and lower his tone - he said I am busy get out. I emailed the company twice I haven’t even got a reply back from the company yet. Worst customer service ever - I have seen this same guy being rude to so many customers.

I went for a car wash and the bumper fell out after the wash, so I told the staff. Wow wow wow, this lady yelled at me for driving a Sienna into the car wash. Told me the van is too big. Not impressed with the end results, but I guess, that's the best you can get around here during winter season, if you know a better car wash in KW area, please let me know, I'd be very interested. I use to work in one of those when I was a teenager, and we always use to prewash under wheel wells, thresholds, front and rear bumpers during the winter, but this guys don't, so beware of that, as these things won't be cleaned up properly by the mashine alone, as well as any ice accumulations. The pay terminal almost never prints a receipt, just in case you want to come back, and the vacuums have really poor suction, so I gave up on that as well, ok. Sorry guys, but thats the ugly truth! You can't just charge the money for pushing the cars through the wash, you've actually gotta start to do some work if you want repeat customers, don't you!?

I dont normally post reviews but felt it necessary to chime in on this one. The customer service has been great any time ive gotten my vehicle washed here. The wash itself does as good a job as any wash ive ever used. However, i subscribe to a monthly wash plan and 5 of the last 8 times ive attended, the wash has been closed for maintenance. Yes, sometimes washes break down, it just seems that lately, its broken down every time i go. I live 25 kms from this wash and in order to see any benefit from it, i try to wash my vehicle while im nearby for work. Recently attended at 7:15am and was happy to see no lineup. But, you guessed it, “closed for maintenance”. Perhaps an email subscriber list could be made up to save people the drive out there when its closed during regular operating hours. Unfortunately, i dont use facebook.

The car wash broke off the antenna cover on the roof of my car. All 3 screws were snapped off. I only noticed when I pulled over to vacuum my interior. I got the triangle piece back from the employee who went in the car wash to find it. The cover can only be reattached with glue now.

So I went to wash my car today and the machine ripped out a part of it near the windshield. I went to report this to a staff and I got the worst attitude ever! I have never seen such rude and unprofessional behaviour. I was so upset I didn't think to get the staffs name, if I did I'll have mentioned her name here. While I was there another customer complained about the machine damaging their side mirrors and oh my the same lady put up an attitude while reaponding to her. I'll advise management to look into training staff on customer service. The valet centre this happened is the one on Victoria in Kitchener.

But they just close their garage and state that its under maintenance or its broken. it did not happened just once. every time i come its always close. I usually come an hour before closing time and i have to come back the next day. But it will still be closed for maintenance. Driving for 20 minutes to the Vallet Car wash for nothing. not as Happy as everyone :( i had a few incidents already, i have a Toyota Yaris and is a small vehicle and in the past two months; The roof rubber long piece came off due to the water pressure, asked them to advise on what to do and no real response was done, the second time that came off, the young girl said that she would check in the morning as this time was somewhere in the middle of the building, week later the back window wiper arm got ripped off, they said that it was broken therefore nothing they could do....I had to go out there and buy a new arm, this past Friday the car jump of the rail and got hit by a taxi that was behind me, did some damage, but the manager on Duty (Alex) said he would contact me on Saturday morning to see specified on damages... is now Monday 4pm and have not heard anything from them.

I have a luxury benz and yea it does leave scratches. It sucks but they can be polished out by a detailed detailer. Put this into perspective, a Petro Canada, car wash is 16 bucks. For 21 bucks i wah my car 14-20x a month

I took the extreme top of the line wash, but very disappointed with the quality, as the soaps or chemical traces remains on the glass and body. Their so called high power air blower does not dry the car. If I compare with Perto Canada touch free Valet is far behind in terms of quality.

Check when they are open before you go. Their website says 7am weekdays but several times I've pulled in around 8am and they are closed for maintenance. Frustrating to drive out of the way to find them closed.

I highly don’t recommended Valet Car Wash. When I bought my car, there were no scratches. I went to wash my car this car wash, after 3 mounts there are many scratches on my car. I asked for who works at Valet Car Wash, he didn’t accept. I canceled membership of car wash. If you save your car, don’t go this place.

The monthly wash passes are the best value around town. However, for those considering buying a pass, be aware that they don’t follow their posted hours of business. While they already have not the best hours to begin with (their schedule says they close at 7 pm during the week) I have gone 3 times in the last month where they have randomly decided to close half hour to an hour early. This is can be frustrating when making a trip here in the evening after work and dinner only to find they decided to close before 7 pm. They also don’t put signage up other than tiny pylons in the drive through aisles so you have to do a u-turn in the Pioneer Craftsman Parking lot. Also, their system seems a little redundant. They have recently switched to an RFID tag system for pass holders. Your windshield tag communicates with overhead sensors your wash type, but the gate computer still gives you a receipt to tell the attendant what grade wash membership you have. The attendant then needs to manually enter from the receipt what wash type you’re getting. This step seems redundant and unnecessary. Why can’t the RFID gate sensor communicate with the wash equipment what grade wash you’re getting so it doesn’t manually have to be entered? My membership is for the Extreme Wash but on more than one occasion the attendant has entered a lower grade wash by mistake. This error seems so preventable if the original gate computer just communicated with the wash equipment what type you’re getting.

It's a decent carwash and the price is right. That being said, the wash is down and unable to operate several days a week for the past while. It's been very frustrating to arrive only for it to be inoperative. With the amount of time the wash is down I feel those of us with monthly passes should be reimbursed for those inoperative days. I understand some routine maintenance is unavoidable, but it's become excessive. You'd think with all the shutdown times they could fix that pot hole when you exit too!

Excellent car wash best one in town. Lived in Toronto for years and this one is far the best one I have ever visited. To bad they don't offer interior cleaning services but they make up for it with their free vacuums great idea! Great friendly service.

Valet has oversold their cheap memberships and it’s now very difficult to actually get a car wash. That coupled with the terrible design of the entrance and the dangers that presents with lining up on Victoria Street has led me to despise this car wash. Perhaps if you raise your prices, you could prevent a serious collision from occurring in front of your building.
