I would love to give a full five stars because I think it’s great that Picton finally has a dollarama. Sadly, there is only self checkouts at this store. I’m not complaining because I’m lazy. Nobody knows anyones daily struggles. So to have to bag, scan and fight with the voice at the self checkout on top of your everyday life. Well, it’s a bit annoying. Where did the cashiers go? You can’t hire people and call them a cashier if they are basically just doing damage control. Bring back the cashiers! XD

I was discriminated against for having a mask exemption. One employee was rude and the manager told me there are no mask exemptions anymore. Oh really? Not according to the Timiskaming Health Unit website and the government of Ontario website.

I absolutely adore Dollarama!! Obviously cheap and are always at full stock! If you need something from Dollarama that you usually get there, 9.5 times out of 10 it will be in stock when needed again unlike most places who simply don't order the amount they know they will need or, are just too lazy to restock making it unavailable until next shift, next day or, even next week!!! Love this place!!!

Store is really nice. Love having it in pictou but the staff is pretty rude. Called to see if the store hours online were correct or if the changed because of covid and the lady scoffed and said they open at 9. Other than that it's great ????‍♀️????‍♀️

Great place, 20 dollars on hand to spend? Its like a paradise. I feel like a kid in a candy shop. With so many different helpful things. Jars, cooking wear, variety of hair, body products, kids toys, you name it. The only thing i could complain about is that there was a rainvow metal knife there one day that i wanted but had no money for, and the next couple times after that, it was nowhere to be seen.

The old guy at the check out was super creepy and made inappropriate jokes to me the whole time I was trying to pay. Very unprofessional and disturbing. Won’t be coming back to this location and if you’re a young woman I suggest you do the same.

I'm happy they have a Dollarama and the workers have been very nice and helpful. It's a small town but they have a Dollarama and it has most of what I want. The selection is somewhat limited and not anything like I'm use to. I come from a city where every Dollarama has much more selection and things in stock. Really can't complain though with the size of the town.

Pretty good selection of cards, gift bags, craft supplies, seasonal decorations, some stationary, office and school supplies, electronic accessories, household, personal items, snacks, grocery items, etc. Dollarama is more of a discount store since items are often much more than a dollar. Not sure if this might be the biggest version of the store or not. They don't always have the lowest prices. Some items, like small button cell batteries, are in the checkout isle. Size I needed were out of stock.

OMG the skinny guy with the glasses who was the cashier was totally rude, asked if they had an item and kept repeating himself "if it's there it's there" ok well we couldn't find it so wanted to make sure it was even there, he was even getting annoyed at us, if you don't like to provide decent customer service (not even GOOD customer service) go work somewhere that is NOT a store!!! ???? I'll stick to the other Dollarama location in town so I don't get treated like dogs***

Dollarama is always suprising me with their merchandise. They have such a great variety of items at a very affordable cost. They even have chocolate covered potato chips....yum And besides a chocolate potato chip fix all in one, they also have handy things like cat care products, home fix it items, kitchenware, beauty products, bathroom essentials, and much more. They have a supply of protective equipment such as masks, face shields, and hand sanitizer. They have a theme isle which at the moment is all set for Easter with candy, decorations, etc. Oh and did I say POPCORN??? The best popcorn since movie theatre popcorn!

Friendly staff (students?). I did speak with the young man doing cart sanitizing about using the spray on the cloth more frequently, as by just doing a dry wipe down with the same cloth, he is spreading germs from one cart to the next.
