I wont be bringing my car back. My 9yr old nephew would have done a better job for much cheaper. The employees were nice enough but they were in such a hurry when I brought my car through (even though I was the only car going through at the time) as I was trying to hurry and get my daughter out of her carseat and get out of their way they started spraying the car down with something and whatever it was they sprayed it all down my leg. Now I know it was an accident and I wouldn't even bother to mention it had they actually done a good job cleaning my car. In the two minutes it took me to get up to the counter and pay my car had already gone through the wash. I just figured they were efficient at vacuuming and that it probably looked fine. I was so wrong. Not only was the outside of my car not properly cleaned but the inside still had dirt and dog hair all over it. I would have been more understanding had they been super busy but they weren't. It was slow and they were more interested in socializing than doing their jobs.

I am sorry to report another frustrating experience at Chamois Regent. My last visit was negative and the resulting review ended in a prompt and courteous invitation from a Chamois manager to return for a re-try. That ended well. Today which is about a month later I went again for my next wash. Bought a gold wash. As I handed my Honda CRV FOB to the young man I asked one question...will you be vacuuming the trunk. Answer was yes. I walked to their door and watched because my work laptop was the only thing in the trunk and i didnt want it out of sight. No one made any attempt to open my trunk let alone vacuum the back. I watched end to end thinking maybe it is still to come. Nope. The young lady who handed me my keys was completely unable to handle my polite comments about lack of vacuuming. When I asked her to please explain to her manager about a customer's bad experience I was met with "that's not my job". Wow. I interact with so many great staff members and most of my reviews are very positive but Chamois Regent HAS to spend more time making all their staff want to care. I am not looking or wanting a free wash. Been there. I want to get my car done right without constant issues. I have very limited choices so please Chamois...try harder. The wash today was great apart from the lack of vacuuming. Thus the 4 stars. The customer service from a couple was terrible. A supervisor appeared at the end and was sympathetic and promised a better experience. That was a good start but a ways to go imho.

Terrible. Will never go again. I remember as a kid the chamois was this awesome experience and your car would come back pristine. I bought the gold package and i had to re clean the car afterwards. A bunch of hoodrats and dropouts who couldn't give a damn if you get your moneys worth. Terrible experience will never go again. It's not what it used to be. Just do it yourself you'll thank yourself later

(Gold Wash) Went here last week to clean the truck. After being washed the Running boards, mud flaps, rear bumper were completely covered in dirt and dust that had run off the body of the truck. I let one of the staff know I was unhappy and he began to try cleaning the problem spots with a wet rag but all he was doing was spreading the dirt around. I demanded a re-wash which they did do. But in the end after being washed two times now the truck was still dirty. Do I recommend going here to have your vehicle cleaned/detailed? Not at chance... "quantity over quality" may as well be their motto.

Not very happy with this place. Found scratches on door panel which the manager said was not their fault. The scratches were not there beforehand. Also found a pebble and small piece of stone on the dash which was not on there as well. Wont be going back. Was not to sure about taking my new truck into a carwash with brushes.

Multiple vehicles scratched or damaged in some way the owner not taking any responsibility. when Sammy first came out it was a great place you get your vehicle cleaned and staff were friendly. Now the staff has so much turnover that no one cares about the quality of the work done

If you want to get your car back in one piece do not take it to The Chamois. I took mine to the Reenders location this morning and when I took possession after they relieved me of$212 I found the lens for my map/reading light sitting in the cup holder. When I complained to the manager that they had broken this component of my car he denied any responsibility and told me “It just broke” and, since my car is an older model, “It’s not like you bought it yesterday” and “I don’t fix old cars”. Maybe, but they are obviously pretty good at breaking them. And then he slammed my door as he left. Shows the care they give to your hard earned property at the highest level. Now, the $212 detailing has grown to $372 when you account for the part replacement from GM. As to the quality of the job every surface in the car was greasy and needed to be wiped down properly and it smelled like a florist shop vomited in my car and was left to sit for a month in the sun. If you think that, as a customer, you deserve some respect as does your property do not take your car to The Chamois. If you want the job done properly do not go to The Chamois. If you want to get your car back unbroken do not go To The Chamois. Take it to a real detailing who knows what they are doing and will respect your property and be accountable for what they break. Hell take it to the 12 year old with bad acne and a problem with authority who lives up the street. He will do a better job than The Chamois.

Reader beware. There are lots of negative reviews about cars coming out dirty. After looking at the photos, I can safely say that some of those cars were too far gone to come out spotless after a simple gold wash. The chamois offers a wide variety of detailing services if you want your car looking new. But if you have stained seats or carpets and gunk in your speakers, don't bring it in for a gold wash and expect it to come out looking new. And if your wash doesn't meet your expectations, go tell an employee and they'll work their hardest to make it satisfactory

ATTENTION owners of high value and luxury vehicles. Do not trust the integrity of vehicle with this company. I recently took a Mercedes-Benz for a car wash, and they scratched the leather steering wheel while getting on the vehicle. When bringing up the scratch to the management they reacted aggressively, and without looking into the issue, they said that they never had or would never had this issue before. They drive and handle the vehicles without care, speed up and break abruptly, and this is the perfect way in which accidents, like the scratch in my steering wheel, will happen. I had another incident with them about the handling of my vehicle, and it had to come to this so that I learn my lesson. I hope you save yourself the grief, and visit another local car wash. Finally, I am not the first customer that has dealt with the same issue with this company. Please see reviews, or screenshot about a customer who had a similar experience.

I would never put a car with nice paint through one of these auto washes, our car has terrible paint. But I saw so many newer vehicles going through their wash, some were even black. After many washes your paint will be dull and filled with micro scratches. Just a word of warning.

My wife got the gold service for our car (about $27), which includes silver and bronze services too. After she came home from the car wash and showed me the car, I was very upset with the quality of the service that we received. It was horrible! You could see dust everywhere on the dashboard and there were so MANY spots that they missed to wash. So I decided to go with my wife to the car wash and ask them to do a PROPER job. After I explained the situation they sent a gentleman to take care of our car. Long story short, they cleaned some of the spots and It was better but not good enough. Then the gentleman told us that we can bring the car back AGAIN to wash it in the next 24 hours!!! Why would I want to bring back the car in 24 hours? Maybe you do a proper job and I save my time and gas!! I don't need a free wash for the next 24 hours. I need a car wash that when I go to it it finish the job properly. ???? Anyway, I found out that we are not alone! There were some other folks who were unhappy with the car wash. Management really need to look into this before loosing their customers.

Got a gold wash. They had to take it through twice cause nobody saw the dirt on the running board. The big white patch of dirt on the red running board. Took forever to get it. Then there was still grime on the lower running board and when I mentioned it the kid said it was paint chip damage. Bull. It was dried dirt. Scrubbed it off when I got home. This years summer employee are not very good. It will be a long time before I go back. ????

Pay couple more bucks to get a gold service which let's you come back Within 24 hrs. I usually go back the next day and since your car is fairly clean, they will make sure to wipe away any dirty spots they find. Definitely saves you time and work for spring cleaning your vehicle!

Interrupted me and said 1 minute please. 7 minutes later I'm Pissed so I called back.. Tried placing me on hold again but I interrupted and asked why I've been waiting for over 15minutes.. She's like "fine, what?" and I asked her. She gave me a moody response and hung up. These other comments don't surprise me now at all.

Just had the "Gold" wash done this morning...not very impressed. As I was waiting for my vehicle to be hand-dried, I noticed a vehicle sitting in an exit lane on Reenders with a detailer going over the vehicle to finish the missed spots. Sure enough...mine is pulled out, I get in and immediately notice the passenger window is not clean. Walk in, tell the cashier who calls someone and a few minutes later a staff person comes over with bottle & rags. The person cleans the window and I stated that my running boards are not clean at all...detailer agrees and states that while the machine doesn't clean the boards, it is expected someone will wipe them down. Detailer does this and cleans the door jams as well that were missed. Of course, not until I get home and I do a thorough walk around that I also notice my wheels don't appear to be dressed on one side and my back window is also dirty (it is a 1/2 ton truck) and while I don't expect someone to crawl up, at least a quick wipe down would be acceptable. Spent another 1/2 hour and cleaned my truck to at least the point where it looks like it was washed. My opinion...don't expect to have a drive-away clean experience even after spending $30 plus...

I went to the Chamois on Reenders and I must say its a rip-off. For the $30-something incl. tax that you pay for a gold wash, I *really* think they need to upgrade their technology for external car washes. At first glance, the car looks fine, but I just took a closer look and there are several several areas that still have brown smudges all over and took me a good 20-30 minutes to scrub out myself. Even soap and foam from plastic grills around the car remain and you need to wash them off yourself at home. It's completely fine if you want a less-than-mediocre wash and you're not OCD about cleanliness, but I'd STILL say you're over-spending with a gold wash. The ESSO touchless car wash does a WAY better job than the Chamois's, and for $12.45 incl. taxes (if you haven't been there already, I'd HIGHLY recommend the Portage Avenue ESSO for a brilliant touchless car wash experience). The interior - apart from the mats being washed, I can see almost no difference in the cleanliness before and after. Chamois's vacuum seems to be really low powered because even the simplest/easiest-to-reach places had dirt that still remained. The dashboard and windows (both inside and outside) had smudges from the cloths post drying and basically had been done in haste. Just to make sure that this hadn't happened only to my car as a one-off, I went and inspected my friend's new Dodge he got washed and all of the above applied to his too. Conclusion: I'd definitely swear by ESSO's touchless car wash to do a PERFECT wash, way better than Chamois, for almost $20 lesser, and I'd clean out the mats/vacuum dirt off the interiors myself. I totally concur/agree with Tony C's review. I definitely won't be going back here again. Sad that businesses like this still rip-off the majority of the public though. Adding a maple leaf logo or rebranding it as 'Canadian owned and operated' might be great to get more folks to use your product/service, but needn't a quality service make. :) OR - reduce the 'gold' wash's price to some $15 OR invest in some tech that *actually* does a better job. It's not the money, it's the principle and a fair get-what-you-pay-for thing people look for.

The exterior had to go through twice because it did not take the bugs off and the interior left dust all over the console and doors that wasn't wiped. Dont expect an amazing inside clean job. Usually they miss a bunch of spots and leave liquid in the cup holders and door pockets. In the end not bad for 25 bucks.

I loved coming here years ago. I feel the attention to detail and care put into the wash was at a higher standard than what it is now. Got the Gold with luster. Still had a bunch of frozen ice/snow under my front grill (and salt since I returned from Ontario). My drivers side mirror was half washed/dried, my cup holders were not wiped down and had 2 sunflower seeds left in the cup holder, as well as a few on the floor, dust left on my touch screen and vents. My vehicle wasn't terrible dirty, I needed the salt removed. I feel more attention to detail is required vs rushing. I understand the priority of getting vehicles out asap, but rushing leads to a not so clean vehicle. I'd rather wait longer for a better cleaned car.

Google keeps Asking me to review the Chamois evey time I go to the storage locker in the compound behind it. Haven't been there in a while but do take my car there occasionally when I the detritus of 2 kids under 5 and a the shedding of a Corgi is just too much for me to handle anymore. Absolutely terrible experience at this location almost every single time I attend to get a car wash completed. I have taken steps to email the manager using the email address provided on the receipt and despite a very clearly worded email I did not receive any form of acknowledgment or apology and for that I am most disappointed and as a result would suggest that you look elsewhere in terms of a full service car wash experience.

As a well known landscaper in Winnipeg, it is key part of good business for me to keep all of my trucks and equipment clean. The chamois does a great job in assisting us in maintaining the cleanliness of our fleet of trucks. Quick exteriors, full service washes and of course the greatly apprecaited full showroom detail and clean in the spring are great choices for us. We find the greatest value and benefit in purchasing multiple wash packages at a time. Its so conveinient to be able to pass out wash coupons to my employees as well being able to offer great suppliers and customers a unique perk - thank you. I find the staff friendly and good at what they do. The detail - specialty service bay staff do an awesome job , even going to the lenghts of taking in our CAT skid steers for a regular washes and interior cleaning. While no one is every happy to see a long line , it does move efficently. This time for me is used to catch up on paperwork in my truck, or return a few phone calls. In addition to washing work trucks, I trust the chamois to carefully hand wash , clean and perform full details on my personal summer toys- cars that include a babied 67 Mustang. My thanks again to all the staff at The Chamois for a continued great job.

Recently this car wash service has greatly declined in the quality of their work. I have taken 2 vehicles there in the last week and both have come back absolutely disgusting. I am very disappointed in the service we received. Windows sprayed and not wiped, seats not vacuumed, cup holders not touched, and the list goes on. When the vehicle was received back it was brought to the supervisors attention who did not complete a secondary clean either and we were told to get a detailing. When I pay for the vehicle to be vacuumed and wiped, I expect the vehicle to be vacuumed and wiped. We will no longer be using this Chamois and will not be traveling to another location either.

I got the silver pkg (so, not the cheapest) and I ended up calling a guy over to fix a couple things. They did not clean 75% the dashboard and you could clearly see the line of what hadn't been touched. I had to ask for it to be done along with cleaning the inside of the driver's door. Although they attempted to clean the inside of the front window, it was so streaked that it was hard to look through. I was also very disappointed about the vacuuming - around the front seats it was done decently however the back seats and tailgate area looked as though they'd barely been touched. The outside was well done except for the bottom 4-5" of the body which somehow was neglected almost the whole way around. Unfortunately I was in a bit of a rush so I didn't have time to complain about everything but I somehow doubt that they would have spent the time to do any better of a job. I might give them a 2nd chance try in the future but I somehow doubt the quality will change considering how fast they push cars through there!!

The people cleaning are polite and efficient, but I wasn't thrilled with my experience from the first phone call a few weeks ago when my call was placed on hold and forgotten about (I hung up after 10 minutes of waiting). When my vehicle had been cleaned I wanted to go take a look at it before paying and was told by Ashley (the same woman who handles the phone) that "either way you will have to pay." She was so RUDE in how she said this. The truck looked great (we have a dog and I was worried the fur would have been tough to get out) and I went to pay. My payment was received quite rudely. And Ashley tried to interrupt as I was giving the detialer a tip. I did have to go back as I thought my floor mats had been put in the box of the truck, but the detailers forgot to put them back in the vehicle. I'm glad I checked before driving away because I don't think Ashley would have been very apt to help me recover my mats if I had left the premises first. I will probably try a different location if I go back. Even if it is out of my way.

Just had a Gold Service Wash at the Chamois for my truck. First time customer. Extremely disappointed. Dashboard was still dusty. I don't believe the cup holders were touched at all. Drivers side of the windshield was clean, passenger side was very streaky (looked like it was wiped with a dirty rag). On the rear window you can see exactly where it was wiped, one swipe at the top, once on the bottom, corners and edges were left dirty. Poor job done on the tires as well but that was minor compared to the rest of it. If I had the time I would have stayed to complain, but the person in charge was already dealing with another complaint, and I had a full schedule the rest of the afternoon. Very unlikely that I would return.

Never have an issue getting my vehicle washed here. Staff are friendly, and do take into detail when handling vehicles and suprisly well due to the amount of vehicles that are lined up for a wash. I've seen customers treat staff poorly here almost all the time, very argumentative and do not communicate properly.

Had to go though 3 times before they got the interior cleaned proper also windows were still streaky when they we're done funny part is my truck was decently clean before I went in I even removed everything in the cab so it would be easy for them but in the end after 1.5 hrs they did the job good place for a quick clean but if you want it done right do it yourself or book it in for detailed cleaning but even then you will find its not much better then there basic cleaning

I have given this place opportunity after opportunity to maintain my business and I am finally done with throwing away my money. Every person I talk to "used" to bring their vehicle to Chamois but now spend the time to clean it themselves. I always get the Gold package and it never fails they always miss numerous spots within the interior. Spraying down the dash or gauges and forgetting to wipe off or not even cleaning out the cup holders. They cant even wipe a window down properly. I've even paid more money and had an appt set up for a full detailing and I still had to return because they didn't put the seats down in my van to wash the carpets. The staff appear to be 16 - 22, good on them working their butts off in this fast paced environment, but you can clearly tell they don't care, how could they when probably more than half of them don't own a vehicle. Even when I went back in to complain and they set out a detail person to clean the missed spots, I clearly pointed them out and he STILL missed two of the spots. Save yourself the money, do it yourself or go through a $10 auto wash around the city during the winter.

I went to the chamois and got the basic package. When my car was returned the back seat was full of rips. All they said was that they camera showed no evidence that it was them who did it. It definitely was them. I will never go back, they are the worst.

My vehicle went through the wash a total of 3 times and was not cleaned properly. They attempted to re-clean my vehicle which was a positive action on their part but every time it came out there was mud at the top of all 4 wheel wells. I specifically pointed out the mud to a team leader after the first wash and to a supervisor after the second/third wash. There was no reason they could not clean my wheel wells properly. I have cleaned my wheel wells with a pressure washer in the past with no problems. Simply ridiculous. I contacted the general manager but he offered no resolutions nor was he willing to resolve an easily rectifiable issue. He commented that only 5% of my vehicle wasn't cleaned. When I pay for a wash I expect 100% of my vehicle to be cleaned not 95%. Good thing they are not removing cancer over there. I don't know what was worse: the poor quality of the wash or the fact that the general manager was unwilling to resolve an issue. I gave the business 3 stars but had this review been based on my experience with the escalation and lack of rectification only it would've received 1. For an average clean this service suffices but if you’re looking for it to be cleaned to a higher standard, do it yourself or find another business.

Chamois Waverley didn't provide the correct service that I paid for and the manager Kyle gave me a time limit to return otherwise he said he's keeping my money. How absurd that they have a 48 hour return policy after they screw up the service. However, I called Justin at Reenders and he was happy to arrange an appointment for me at my convenience at his location free of charge. This is exceptional customer service because he's actually picking up slack from another locations poor service. He said he wants his customers satisfied. This is a location that deserves business.

HORRIBLE experience with the cleaners first breaking the angel in my car, to them giving me a “rewash” that expires in a week, to leaving glass all over my car (from the precious angel of mine that they broke), and lastly to the inconsiderate manager who blamed me for having a memorial angel in my car (he called it an “aftermarket item” that I left in my car)!!! SO NOT OKAY! My daughter was in tears when we left because she placed that in the car to resemble her sister who has passed away! We left feeling robbed, heartbroken and I even cut myself cleaning up all the glass that was left on my seat, dash, and floor! EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. Will never return. Two times I have gone, two times I have been disappointed. I have photo proof of this awful experience. The manager’s name was Mike I believe.

I brought my new truck in for a wash as I didn't have time to do it myself, having been a Chamois customer pretty much since it opened it's my go to when I don't have time to do it myself. Everything seemed to be business as usual until I did a walk around of my truck. There is a line on the box side that looks like it was scuffed with something. There was actual material left on the paint, I'm talking little pieces of plastic/rubber. Upon noticing this I went back in to speak with a manager. The gent was nice, took notes, and explained that I would be contacted the following day. After not hearing anything I returned the following evening. The gentleman I was supposed to speak with (GM Justin P) was in. He looked at my vehicle, reviewed the grainy footage, and determined it didn't happen at the wash. There was material on my paint AFTER the wash, those little pieces should have been washed off during the wash cycle. He offered to "try" to get it out, but suggested I leave it so I can make an insurance claim. Really, that's the level of customer service you guys are offering? Many years ago they put one of my vehicles through a wall, luckily no one was hurt, and the truck suffered minimal damage. I should have learned my lesson then. Never again Chamois. You have lost this long term customer for good! If I could put zero stars I would. I bid you guys good luck with this poor level of service, bad reputations sink companies.

On Nov 27 I took my traverse to Choimes car wash at 85 Reenders Drive at around 10:30am and paid to 119.95 plus tax to get my car get cleaned well. They said it was their best choice. So I gave my car and came out to pay and the girl names Maddie was at the counter and I paid and asked how long it takes for my car to be ready, and she said 1 hour to 1 and 1/2. So I waited for that long and went back to the counter at 11:50, there was another girl at the counter this time and she said it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I said oh okay. I waited until 12:45pm and went back and told them that I needed to go pick up my kids so I needed to know if my car is ready. There was a brown girl, long hair, very rude, her face wasn't very welcoming and said "yea it will be ready when they are done!" I was very disappointed at this time and just left them and sat down. There was a boy, small body and dyed hair and sweet. He was outside when I first came in and he walked up to me and said. " your car is not ready yet?" He knows how long I have been there because he is the one that sent me in. He went and talked to the Details people and they said it be 20 minutes and I waited all together for 2 and 1/2 for my car to come out. But I was even more disappointed when I saw the car. They did not clean it well. They did not do rim and door jamb detailing, I doubt they even did a vacuuming the back row. When I opened the door I swear to God I felt like crying. But I didn't have the time to talk to the manager because I had to go pick up my kids which I was 1hr late already so I left in a rash. I would never go back there and they dont do thair jobs right for $120 in a car wash.

Every single time I've gone here, I've had to send the vehicle back through to get it finished off. Today brought a work truck i received from another employee that left it full fast food crumbs and fries. I got an interior detailing, $180, and it was still given back to me with food between the seats, sent it back through.....figured for almost $200, they would have made sure it was great the first time. Latest visit cause damage to my vehicle. Spoke to a manager and there was absolutely no responsibility taken. Not one bit. He even got closer to my face (less than a foot away) as if he was attempting to intimate me out of the situation. What a poor customer experience.... As per usual, my vehicle still had spots that were dirty. If you care for your vehicle, do not bring it here.

My 3 year old can do a better job cleaning a car. The bottom foot of the vehicle is always dirty, inside and out, never rinsed properly, streaks and residue everywhere, staff is grumpy yelling at each other in front of everyone. OK - these folks are THE BEST! I had a mishap in the rear passenger seat of my SUV. While transporting apple 'sheet' pie (baked on a large cookie sheet), the pie slid while I was coming to a stop. What resulted was what looked like "pie barf" on the back on the front passenger seat. Crust was stuck on the seat, even slipping into the pouch of the seat. Apple filling, crust and all that wonderful gooey-ness ended up on the floor in a sad little heap. Couldn't believe that I wrecked an ENTIRE pie! So, I scooped out the majority of the goop, cleaned up the chunks and headed to The Chamois. Good thing it smelled like cinnamon! I explained to the gal what happened, and what needed to be cleaned. She offered several cleaning options, and together, we determined which was the best cleaning for my vehicle. While I sat and drank my coffee in the comfortable waiting room, complete with TV, coffee maker and little sofas, the staff were busy cleaning my vehicle. It took them about a 45 minutes to tidy up my mess and spot shampoo the rear carpet. I was VERY pleased with the way they looked after my car, and made sure that every crumb of crust was gone from under the seats. Everything was cleaned, and my car was restored to pre-pie condition. The friendly staff referred to me as the Pie Lady as I paid for the cleaning, and they returned my keys. I will be back. Hopefully the next visit will be boring, and the vehicle will just need a good cleaning inside and out.

Coming from Ontario where it’s 65.00 plus to get an in and out job for my car it’s very inexpensive here and you can watch them through the window. Even at -35 C they clean the doors and dry them so nothing freezes. They have all kinds of packages starting at 10.00. I go on a regular basis!!!

If you're ok with this being as clean as your car is gonna get even after getting the centre console recleaned, then you should be fine! Let me say though, the customer service is great! Friendly and helpful people, professional and quick. But if you don't mind doing the job yourself, you're better off doing it yourself. First picture is before it got recleaned For reference I got the gold package. I feel like you may as well get silver for what you're getting though.

I've given this place three tries and each time they missed significant areas. During the most recent wash I had they missed my gear shift, inside door panels, and side-floor of the drivers seat (absolutely covered in dirt). I just called and made a polite complaint to the manager and asked for some kind of compensation. He said he could re-wash my car for free if I made it there within the next three days. I explained to him that this week it would be inconvenient for me to go all the way there and can we do it next week. He refused. I said that I was already inconvenienced by the unsatisfactory job and it's not fair I'm inconvenienced again by having to go out of my way to get there by a time that is convenient for them. Again, he hummed and hawed and refused. I would rather wait an extra five minutes and have it done right! I recommend going elsewhere. Twenty-odd dollars thrown away.

Truly not impressed with the service. If you only get the basic wash, its not bad. However with the price of the gold package, I would expect a better service. Cups holders, the radio area not properly done. Yes this could be a one time experience, however; it's not. I have tried numerous times during different peak hrs and the mean is always the same. Sadly disappointed with the service. If I'm in a pinch and need a quick wash, I would stay with the Silver (basic) package. Not worth the money or time to pay for the gold or bronze package.

Don’t waste your money. I purchased the gold car wash (the “best” most expensive one) and was honestly pretty disappointed. I thought I would get a good interior clean. Most of the garbage got removed but that seemed to be the extent of it. My windows were not fully cleaned. There were multiple spots inside my car that hadn’t even been touched and there was a lot of visible dirt. One specific spot I was actually hoping would get cleaned was my cupholder. A drink had spilt there making it sticky and when I got my car back it hadn’t even been touched. Also many spots on my dash were visibly dusty… It was disappointing to pay to get my car cleaned only to have to go home and clean it myself anyways.

The wash here is ok, not fantastic but really for $20-$25 dollars for an inside and outside wash I think people need to manage their expectations better, a detailed inside outside wash and wax at a pro shop is $300 So when I hear people complain that their wheel wells still had dirt in them or that there was still dust in the interior air vent I just shake my head, these people are just chronic complainers who have no idea how much work goes into a true detail job. I typically was and detail my own truck at home and it is spotless but that takes hours of hard labour, if you think you can reasonably expect to pull in to an establishment turn over your keys and get the same quality of wash for $25 and 20 minutes of time you are out to lunch! I have brought my work vehicles here and yes there is sometimes the odd bit of dirt left behind but for the price I think it's a good value and I never make them re wash it, this causes a backup for everyone else. If you are a perfectionist take the time to do it yourself of pony up some real dough to have it done professionally Cudos to all the staff that works really hard in some hot stuffy conditions and is always been very courteous and friendly!

I've been to multiple different chamois in the city. And every time I've been I've had the worst car wash ever. Inside and out. Whenever I went I would take a look at the dirt and grim on and inside my vehicle that was the most NOTICEABLE. . And even then, they failed miserably to clean what's right in front of my own face and everyone else's to see. I would highly recommend not going to the chamois. Unless you're wanting to give away your own money for nothing. I'm sticking to washing my car myself instead of paying others to do a piss poor job. Not to mention whenever I've told management that there was way too many areas missed and we're still dirty .. they would take it in for another wash .. and it still came out the same way !!! This is your job, it's what you get paid to do! So why slack off? Why not actually do what you're there to do? Until major improvements are done with they're employees and the work they do... I will not return to the chamois. I'm even surprised they are still in business!

Dislike going here but unfortunately they don’t have any competition especially at the east end of the city. 10 years ago it was good, now it’s very amateur work, but what do you expect due to the low price you pay. Wish there was an alternative that cost a little more but had much better service. The manager thinks that he is a supernatural being and most of the employees will give you similar treatment at a fast food restaurant. Location also gets super busy and a lot of the times will take you 30-60 mins to get in and out. Lower your expectations and you should have a decent experience...

Absolutely pathetic service, Customer service is a big zero and you get humiliated on top of that, after paying $120 that is the only thing you can expect from this place. My first and last time to this terrible place. When you arrive they are very keen on you taking the highest package and all i wanted was a car wash with interior vacuum which i kept on telling them and they wouldn't even explain or give you time to go over what each package offers.After 2 hours of wait the car arrives and you see the interiors wasn't even vacuumed or even touched. When you question them or ask for a manager the guy who showed as manager didn't even introduce himself neither gave me a chance to speak and when i was trying to stop him he kept on raising his voice and behaved very indecently.When I asked what kind of customer service is it he asked do i expect him to kneel down and take request. 3rd person arrived just looking at us in the camera and didn't even bother to ask what my concern was and he asked me to get out. Twice they took the car and still it wasn't clean or vacuumed and the most obvious place like the door jamp was still dirty and muddy after their platinum detailing. The third guy literally locked me out of the store wherein I wasn't even abusive neither a drunkard. Note to the person who owns this place : Whatever or how much ever money you spend on advertising end of the day goodwill and the service what you provide is what really helps to run a place and by hiring people who are very disrespectful and a bully or goon to their own customers how can the owner of this place justify.Is anyone even monitoring what is happening there? I've been going here for years. I don't expect perfection. It's better then the 11 bucks they want at the gas bar and you don't get the interior done. So for 18/20 the dust is gone the car is clean. Yes the seller is a little persistent some times but that's trying sometimes I say yes sometimes I say no. For 18 bucks my car is clean and I don't have to haul out the vacuume. Ppl who expect perfection after the car has not been cleaned in a year might be disappointed but after going twice in a couple weeks the interior is nice after the summer car has sat for a couple seasons. When I want perfection I pay the 160 and have them do a detail and they even saved my headlight lens that had gone all milky.

Went to this location Sunday morning. Figured let them clean it up nice. Considering that is what they say they do. Well the door had locked itself on the driver side side they decided to clime over my console. In the process they chipped my tint on my windows. Will not take responsibility or pay for the damage they occurred. Also upon looking at the job they did. Realizing they did a horrible job. Missing door panels. Missing the back of my console. Not spending the extra 30 seconds to actually vacuum the rear of the vehicle. And not wiping the centre console top at all. Spoke to Ryan Monday and told him about my tint. And he says cause of the age of the vehicle they won’t do anything for me. Thanks guy! Thanks for getting paid to screw up my stuff. Much appreciated. Do not go there ever.

Do not waste your time and money dealing with The Chamois on Reenders. When I returned to pick up my vehicle at the end of the day (because I was never phoned to be informed my vehicle was ready for pick up and was told the reason is because they had written it down wrong) I noticed the following: grease marks on my window, seats not put back securely, dirt in between the seats, dirt marks on the console, random dirt marks all around the body of the vehicle, and an almost broken off tailgate piece. In emailing with the manager all they would offer was to clean the spots they missed and they couldn't seem to contemplate why I would not want them to touch my vehicle again. When I asked for a refund, I was told they do not do refunds and will not be taking responsibility for the damage done to my vehicle because there was previous damage. In corresponding with the manager, although at first he tried to be polite, the remaining correspondence was unprofessional and they still refused to acknowledge any wrong doing on their part except for missing the spots in between the seats. I am completely disgusted with their lack of standards and professionalism. It's no wonder they don't give refunds, they would be doing it all the time.

I take care of my baby ;). Anyways' I didn't feel like wasting the time having to have it re-washed or spot washed. So I left disappointed. The amount of time I wasted I could've washed it myself & saved money.... I ended up washing it myself anyways... Anyhow this may or may not happen to you, that was my experience...

Not clean the first time. The vehicle came out with road dirt still half way up the driver's side. The employee said it couldn't be wiped off but then tried to wipe it and it came right off with minimal effort. The team leader sent the vehicle back through for another wash. I moved to Winnipeg 9 years ago and I don't wash my car myself. I have been to this place many times in the past 9 years and I don't mind to pay but I would like to get what I paid for. It's Winter and although I went twice in last fall for interior/exterior Gold Wash, I still have leaves in my trunk. I did asked them to remove them both times, it was not done. The exterior is not that great either. Windows shows streaks and some spots that I remove easily myself after are not cleaned. I SO wish they had competition, I guess they would make more effort to do a professional job. I can't remember one time I was totally satisfied. Where I come from, I had a place very similar where I used to go and it was cheaper with a job so well done that I was in shock the first time I went to Chamois on Reenders. I hope they fix it because it's the only place I can go.

I got what is called a gold wash. A brown wash would be a better description. There were so many areas they missed on my SUV. I was so incensed I wrote a complaint letter addressed to the General Manager. What did he say in his/her reply. NOTHING I never received a reply that is how much they care about my and obviously your business.. With this quality of management no wonder the workmanship is such low quality.

Can’t blame the employees when it comes from the top. Those employees hired as full time don’t get their hours as it is weather related. Abuse by inexperienced leaders is horrific and I’ve witnessed terrible verbal abuse and thus stopped spending money here. Some employees are work placement and have a hard time defending themselves....closest thing I’ve seen to a sweat shop. It’s of course all about the money.

They vacuumed the floors very well and my dash was wiped clean, but they didnt really care about the back seats at all. Still quite dirty. Service was not friendly, all employees really seemed like they would rather be anywhere but there. I also realized once I got home that I did not receive the air freshener that came with the wash.

The last time I had to get the manager or supervisor to come out with a spray bottle to clean what they missed along with the inside door handles, console and the bottoms of the doors from the inside. I give 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for washing and cleaning and 1 ⭐ for unsafe pavement outside. I get it's our responsibility to be careful not to slip and fall but it would be nice to spread some sand when the vehicles are driven outside so Customers and your Staff don't fall and get hurt. My girlfriend slipped and fell this morning, she has a scrape on her knee, and bruises. An employee came out to spread sand where she fell, only on that spot. Should have spread across all the doors!

Unfortunately the company has gone so downhill over the years. It use to be cheaper which was okay for the sub-par cleaning service you received. Today I paid 30 dollars for a silver wash and they didn't even clean my passenger seat along with other area's. I kind of figured the service was going to be bad when I watched 1 person (of 4) actually vacuuming the car in front of me well 1 other stood around and watched and 2 others played in the fan that blows down from the entrance door. Time to find another company for this service.

I've been using The Chamois for a few years now; in winter it's pretty well every second week. Always an Exterior Plus Wash Silver. Today when my vehicle came out it had a group of surface scratches in 2 places. I brought it to the managers attention, he looked at the damage, we watched the video, he checked the line, and neither of us could prove that the scratches were caused my the Chamois. I was very impressed when he offered to buff the scratches out. It only took him about 15 minutes and I was on my way. Great Service.

I had to send my truck through twice and still wasn't cleaned properly. My wifes car was cleaned 90% on the exterior but the interior didn't look like they bothered using a vaccume at all. I called to try and get refunded for the certificates I didn't use yet but the supervisor refused. DO NOT GO HERE! worst service and workmanship ever! Took my car there and it was still dirty and I had to ask them to remove the die bugs that was inside. The tires were 1/2 done. The inside still had grave dust on the back door and on the floor. There was no point in taking it there to get it cleaned. Next time I will go to MidTown car wash. Prices is the same but the service is better.

Back in the summer(june 2015)I took my Truck in to have detailed for a price of $128.00 I was charged an extra $20.00 for the roof liner. When I picked up the vehicle the doors and ash tray were still dirty. Not sure what I paid for! So stupid me I give the company a second chance yesterday(march 26 2016) with my SUV purchasing the silver package for $28.00. When they finished the vehilce was still dirty inside, having leather seats it should be easy for them to wipe NO the spots of coffee were still there. To add to my insult they bent my front license plate! When you bring it to their attention all that is given is a shoulder shug, no apology, no heres a free car wash. NO REPEAT BUSINESS from this girl.

I've been there many times over the past few years and for the price, I've received great service. Only once did I have a dirty interior after they were done, but they sent someone out to the truck and re-did it right there in the parking lot. Other than that, I've had no problems. Decent job for the price. No complaints. I've paid $180 to have someone come to my house to detail my vehicle, and to be honest, I didn't notice too much of a difference between that and the $28 Gold wash at the Chamois. Even if they missed a few spots......$28 vs $180. I'll clean those few missed spots and pay $152 less.

Told the manager and he said he looked at the camera and it was like that before coming in!!!!!! I asked to see the camera video and he said I can't do that!! Just got my car wash today, not happy at all, i saw how their shampoo track skipped and truck behind my car started pushing it, and made 2 holes in my bumper. They made 2 big scratches on my left side of car. I even have a video and witnesses that can confirm thing that i posted now. I did not had time to stay and complain, but i wish i did. Exterior of the car always looks great but the interior is where they continuously fall short. The floor mats are usually dripping wet and put back badly so your seat won't move. There is ALWAYS areas missed where there is still dirt, dust and smudges. A good place to go where they clean the bulk of it, but you still have to go home and finish the job properly.

HORRIBLE.....HORRIBLE....Right from the terrible job they did cleaning it (my windows were streaked, my doors were not wiped down at all, the inside looked like they didn't even touch it) to the Management. Over a month ago (yes this is how long it takes these managers to resolve an issue) I took my car there to have it cleaned. They damaged my car and didn't even tell me about it I found the damage once I got home. The first manager James (who is completely useless) didn't even want to hear me out. I go back the next day and speak to another manager Dhillon (who actually did his due diligence) filled out the paperwork and told me they would order the part and call me. Well a month later still no phone call I call Dhillon and surprise... surprise they have changed their minds and will not pay for the part, so instead of calling me they thought I would just forget that there is piece missing from my car?????. He told me he would have the General Manager Kyle call me. Guess what?? 5 days goes by and no phone call so I call Kyle and his solution oh well we will just put some glue on the that sucker and you will be good as new. SERIOUSLY.... LET ME DAMAGE YOUR CAR AND OFFER YOU SOME GLUE AND TAPE TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. This place and it's management is a JOKE.....Off to small claims court I go...these guys would rather go to court then just take care of issue that THEY DID....my car has been through MANY MANY car washes and never has there been damage and these guys who claim they clean your car for a living can't even do that. DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH...THEY DAMAGE YOUR CAR, THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU WALK OUT PAYING FOR WHAT????? STAY AWAY!!

Their washer (employee) put the power washer nozzle right on my bumper trying to get a bug off and peeled a large section of paint off about the size of a loonie and then did it again in another spot as I watched. I complained and it seemed to be taken seriously by the person in charge but later the "Manager" called me and stated they would not take responsibility as the paint could have been "loose" previously. Sorry but you cant put a power washer nozzle right on the bumper and not expect damage. Thankfully my Nissan dealership repainted the bumper for me at no charge as a favour for my repeat business.

I wanted to get my car ready for summer so I decided to get the whole inside cleaned. At first I thought the price of the interior 3 pack was pretty steep but it didn’t dissapoint. The employee (who I belive is Nic. W) presented the car in a kind, friendly manner, and helped me with drying instructions and answered all of my questions to full extent. Today (2015-JUN-10) took 33 minutes from the time I exited my vehicle to the time I left. And this was for an exterior wash only (as I figured a long time ago that cleaning the inside properly was well beyond their capabilities)! My vehicle stayed unattended, at the entrance, for 15 minutes before they decided to process it, letting newcomers I front of me. I enquire to one employee, who, without stopping or giving me a response, simply told someone about it on the radio. I was never told what had happened. Nothing. Once they decided to grace me with some service by doing what I had paid them for, the line kept stopping, so I only got 2/3 of the "clear coat" I had paid for. Just before exiting, both outside mirrors were still filthy, as was the top of the hood by the bug deflector and dirt streaks still showing by both windshield washer nozzles on the hood ( and more problems at the back). Once I pointed this out to one of the two poor lost souls who had acted as if they had actually hand-wiped it (also what I had paid for), they simply looked annoyed and just wiped the parts I had to apparently point out to them!! I would have spoken to the Manager by then (assuming they have one), but I already had lost 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back. And if I had spoken to one, I suspect that he/she probably would have been as useless than the rest of them. Once I got home, I wanted to send them this comment (or rant) via email. SHOCKER: Their website does not have an email where they can be contacted! I could hazard a guess as to why that is... In closing, I would suggest to them that they could cut down on costs by simply putting a bucket at the entrance, for motorists to just throw money as they drive by as their vehicles wouldn't be any cleaner if they actually went in. Do I really have to give them 1 star?? a "0" would be more appropriate, with some jail time. Thank you for reading my rant.

Today I was very disappointed. My car was run through twice and it was still dirty. It is not terrible, it seems clean but when you open the doors the frame was not wiped the inside frame of the trunk was not wiped properly - you drive off and realize there is dirty water coming out from everywhere where it could have been wiped. I specifically asked for the two carseats in the back to be vacuumed but they were not, neither was the seat between the two carseats wiped. The dashboard, seats and inside of the doors had dirty handprints/fingerprints on them. I paid $28 for it.

Horrible ... Horrible Service!!! First time I took my car there. My windows were streaked on the inside, they didn’t wipe down the inside properly. I get home to find the tinted part of my window missing. The doors were still wet on the inside they didn’t wipe any of the doors down so of course they froze. When I went back I explained the poor cleaning job to the Manager (James) he had no response. Then I show him the picture of my car with the piece missing. He goes back into the shop to find it and comes back with the piece... ARE YOU KIDDING ME.. They couldn’t tell me at the time that they damaged my car???? This place is getting ridiculous, bunch of lazy people working there. Purchased ANOTHER gold wash which includes INTERIOR and exterior cleaning. Seems like new management, new hires, new training is needed. Not only did they NOT at all wipe down my INTERIOR but had left a deep scratch on my rear bumper on my brand new vehicle with only 400 kms on it. The last time I brought my vehicle for cleaning i had the same issue with them not cleaning my interior and had witnessed one of the workers flipping off a vehicle pulling into the 3rd bay for cleaning. Maybe he didn't feel like cleaning another vehicle? Well buddy, time for you to get a new job! I had reported that incident to a manager and nothing came of it. Shows how unprofessional this place really is.

I don't blame the people working there because they are polite and work hard but I think that either they are not trained properly or they are told to push the vehicles through as fast as possible. They need to provide a safer way to get from the far side of the wash to the main lobby. When I took my 3 kids last week, 2 of them almost got squished by the big door closing beside us. We did exactly what the sign said the make our way to the lobby, and because no one looked to make sure the area was clear they started to close the big door and I had to push my son outside so he didn’t get flattened. They also need safety features on the big doors so it will automatically stop if some one is in the way.

Came in today for a car wash. They changed their policy about us being allowed to stay in our car during an exterior only wash. The general manger, Ryan Thompson's suggestion was that I go somewhere else after asking about the rule change. I had 3 dogs with me I wasn't sure I could handle if I took them out in there. I had 2 customers tell me on my way out that he was quite rude about the whole thing. Maybe the staff were just having a bad day but they definitely lost my business. The cleaning was decent half the time but no point giving money to a place that doesn't want it.

I GIVE UP!!! I bring my vehicles here at least twice a month but no more. Today a stranger at this place, got her car cleaned and came up to me and complained that she had to spend extra time cleaning her vehicle. When my vehicle was completed, I was not happy. The exterior was not impressive and interior was a joke of a job. For the amount you pay to clean your car and the quality of the job are world's apart. If you look at my car,i swear I payed 6 bucks for left over dirt and when I look at my receipt, I get peed off. When my car is clean, I drive with a smile, but when I pay you to clean my car and it looks like crap, I'm not happy. I'm really patient person and this is not my first experience. Enough of me and my dissatisfaction!!! Here's my advice, take your car to a regular car wash at the gas station (if you don't have time) And clean the interior yourself. Save yourself the money and the fact that The Chamois ain't gonna do a Good job. Disclaimer: I mite bring my vehicle here for a complete emergency clean. Went there for a seat clean which was done very well, additionally was given a car wash with the package. My vehicle came out of the wash with a couple large scratch marks on the side. This was on brand new paint of the vehicle. Brought it to the attention of a worker and they refused to entertain the idea that it may have come from the cleaning machines. Also had a family member receive scratches on their new car after a wash. Very disappointed with how they handled the situation, will never go back.

just dropped 130 bucks for an interior and carpet cleaning, still dirty when I picked it up, since they were closing in 30 min I just bought a can of carpet cleaning and spent 10 bucks at the car wash and did it properly. He was shocked at how bad it was and said he would check the camera's to find out who was on duty. I asked if I could get a free wash out of it or send the car back through again( still no cars in line) he said no, wiped one on the door panels and that was it. Clearly there were no other cars on line for a reason.

This location is horrible and unfortunately it’s the closest to my house. So hopefully this review will help them become better. I had my truck washed with them and after the wash I went through it and they missed over 10 areas on the car that should have been cleaned better. It was a waste of Time and money. When I got home I could not find my floor Mat either. So I called and spoke to Justin. He told me to come in and I’ll get a complimentary wash. I was out of town for over a week so I brought my truck in when I got back and when I was at the cashier Justin got called up to approve my complimentary wash but he said he couldn’t find my name on the board. So he was going to give me the wash as a complimentary one. Also made me feel like I was lying to him which was quite embarrassing.

It's a great place to go if you need your vehicle cleaned and you're in a pinch or just too lazy to do it yourself. It's good to see that Chamois is now rinsing down cars before they are ran through the brush cycle but who knows how often they're cleaning the brushes (after 'x' number of vehicles, end of day, etc.). You're not going to be saving any money but it sure will save you a lot of time.

Paid for a gold wash, interior of my car looked like it was cleaned by a 5 year old. I am not sure how staff could have possibly thought this was an acceptable job. It was barely vacuumed and spills and the door panels had not been wiped off. I emailed the manager to see if the interior was included in the 24 hour rewash (it was). After making an additional trip out and waiting for the job to be done, it was still inadequate. Some spills had been missed and after 2 passes and there was still dirt on the interior (i gave it quick wipe with a wet cloth at home and it cleaned it). I was not expecting a perfect job as it was not a full detail, but I expect spills and the inside to be wiped at the minimum. Was planning to take it in for a full detail, but I will look for a place that takes pride in their work. Photo taken immediately after their first attempt. The second didn't look much different other than there was less dirt on the ground. The outside was fine.

I’ve gone to the location multiple times, and my last 2 visits have been disappointing. I always buy the gold wash, which includes cleaning of the car’s interior. After the wash, it was quite apparent that passenger seats were not vacuumed. This was the same issue during my previous visit as well. The employees are helpful in correcting the problem, however, customers should expect that the service being paid for is actually completed. The manager is never available when asked for, and previous communication have not resulted in anything positive.

It’s okay for an exterior bronze wash at $10.99. But I suspect the “upgrades” don’t actually get done. For example the undercarriage bath seems non existent. I checked under my car and it was just as dirty as before and bone dry. Employee said “well it’s more like a light mist” but wouldn’t say how it’s applied-conveyor or by hand? Ram it through a second time and no difference even after complaining. Don’t bother with the sketchy upgrades for exterior washes. Also don’t expect the bugs from a highway drive to come off your car. They won’t.

I would normally give chamois a four or five star rating, but I was extremely disappointed when I was not able to take advantage of purchasing a car wash with their bonus wash in late October without first getting a physical car wash (I wanted to get a car wash at a later time.) Poor marketing in my opinion.

Thanks to one of the detailers who we showed him exactly what needs to be done on our car. Riley and Payton really did a very good job cleaning our car. We were impressed with their work, knowing how dirty our car was especially with lots of pet hairs on the carpets. Definitely going back there!
