Great service, they told me everything they were doing and did it faster that they expected. Had a striped transmission plug and they got it out and replaced for less than anywhere else was offering to do it. Have been going here since it opened and it stays at the same level of service, except for the car wash was closed lots last winter due to ice build up and there was lots coming out of the automatic one. Turn up your heat maybe? Over all the car services are great and reliable, I would recommend.

Had an oil change done on a Japanese domestic. I had to wash the engine afterwards because they spilled oil all over when doing the change, and it was dripping on my driveway. While washing the engine, I noticed they did not change the oil filter.... this is not an oil change. Obviously I was charged full price. I called and told them about what I found, and they challenged my claim. After explaining that my car was a Japanese domestic that had freshly been imported, and still had the Japanese filter installed, they couldn't really argue. I took the car back and they replaced the filter free of charge and gave me a few car washes, but I just can't trust their service anymore. You shouldn't have to inspect someone's work to make sure they're not stealing from you.

Dirty, broken and soap doesn't work. If you need a 24 hr car wash, avoid this one and head over to the Canco on the North Shore. On the south shore during business hours anything is better.

Probably the lowest pressure guns I've come across in British Columbia. The pressure wash soap option puts out little to no soap at all. I suggest using the foam brush after a quick rinse if you want any soap for your wash. Don't bother going to Shell wash it's the exact same. $8 wash didn't even get the bugs off my window. Was disappointed yet again.

These guys were incredibly helpful. Oil and battery changed, vacuum, wash, and coffee were all great. Staff member upgraded my wash because I got the battery. When I left I noticed my RPMs were suddenly much higher than usual at idle. I called them, brought my truck back, and they went so far as to bring in their best mechanic on his day off so that they could check it and fix it for me.

I had a pretty good experience at this place both times I went. Decent price for an oil change and because they have a carwash you get a free one with the purchase of the oil change. I pay extra to get the best car wash though which is fine as it's only a part of the full price. They were quick and showed me the dipstick as well as told me how many litres were used. Paid less than $70 for my oil change and my carwash extra fee.

Fantastic! My company does work for them so at first I just went out of company loyalty, but now I would go there regardless. Got an oil change done, the mechanics were personable, explained things in simple terms, made me aware of everything, didn't make me feel bad for opting for cheaper options. Headed out of town and remembered seeing this little shop on the side of the HWY 1 in Hope. Stopped in this past Friday for a quick oil change, on my way out of town, and these guys had me fixed up and back on the road in 10minutes! Might have even been faster. I have NEVER had a shop that quick. not even the ones that claim to be a 10 minute oil change. The staff were incredibly friendly, not pushy about anything at all (a very nice treat compared to other lube shops) and we all shared a laugh about how I felt like they were my pit crew they were working so fast! Also, for the first time EVER, I heard the guy under the hood say "Oh he changed his filter recently" and so didn't try to sell me a new one. That has NEVER happened to me before. Most shops push hard to replace parts that really don't need to be changed yet. Honesty is a rare find in these shops. I live in Surrey, and I'd consider driving out to Hope for my oil changes if they can keep this up. I'll definitely try to time them for when I pass through on future trips. Free car wash never hurts either! Keep up the killer service!

Highly do not recommend their car cleaning services. I use like 5 minutes of it at the tops and it charged me 10 bucks. When spoken to the staff, they asked me to call the owner tomorrow. I clean my car every week(never from here) and I have a routine so I know how much time it takes. NEVER AGAIN!

Not impressed! I have NOT used the auto services however have used the CAR WASH services and was very dis-pleased. Initially, signage is poor regarding touchless and self serve wash bays. Almost waited in the touchless line of cars while 3 self serve bays were available - i had to get out of the car to find them empty..not that i am lazy but if i hadnt it would have wasted my time.. On top of that, its WAY TO EXPENSIVE for self serve! I put in TWO DOLLARS and could not rinse my whole vehicle (mazda 3 sedan) I got about 1/2 way and i lost water.....so it cost ne FOUR dollars to JUST RINSE the dirt of the car...were not even talkin soap and scrubbing!! Thats like TWO DOLLARS A MINUTE. That is ludicrus!!! I have been to other car wash stations in town and get wayyyyyyy better bang for my buck... Not to mention it barley wanted my toonies... This place is terrible and I will not be back nor will i recomend!

Absolutely despicable service from an absolutely despicable man. I witnessed the owner trying to up-sell a young lady in the bay next to mine on a ‘power steering flush’. The car she was driving was brand new and I could tell that this particular model was equipped with electric power steering. I was appalled. After the lady had declined multiple times with a teary eyed face; The owner was visibly irate and had yelled multiple obscenities at her. If you want to be yelled at to go back to the kitchen, then I would highly recommend visiting this establishment. However, the level of professionalism displayed by the owner and his employees has left me visibly shook. I will never be coming back here again...

My family and I were travelling through and somehow had our windshield washer fluid freeze up in our electric car. No one seemed to have time for us (not the mechanic shops, dealerships, or part supply shops), except for the guy at Chevron and the people at Mobil 1. Very nice facility and great service. Top notch service!! From the moment we pulled into the bay, professional, polite, and went above and beyond. Aside from the oil change, they tested the battery, greased 9 nipples under the truck, filled up the windshield washer fluid, checked the transfer case oil, and advised that it should be changed (explained that if we hadn’t had it done, we should do it), checked the tire pressure, and checked the transmission fluid. They’re a well run machine, everyone well worked together. The price was great (compared to other places - I’ve paid more for just an oil change and air filter). Great experience, fast & friendly. Thanks - we’ll be back!

I am new to this town and today I mistakenly turn down the back alley behind the place not knowing it was a one way nor did I see a sign stating this in the midst of this I pulled to the side to allow two vehicles to pass by that were heading to the car wash . I needed to reverse a half a foot so I could continue down the lane. A older man came out of the shop waving his hands at me . I rolled down my window and he yelled that there was a car behind me I knew there was and could see and told him that he then yelled at me this is why it’s a one way f**king lane! I was shocked and said I didn’t know and apologized he turned around and stormed back into the shop. What the man didn’t know is that I was coming around to park in the lot to ask about getting some fluids change but since he cussed me out for a honest mistake I decided I will not ever bring my service there nor the car wash that I have been using for the last two months and the few times I had been here. Considering this is a place of business you would think he could have been a little more professional and simply explained to me that it was a one way or to have directed me out. I could understand if I was racing down the lane or something like that but it was an honest mistake and made me feel quite terrible . And where is your class yelling at a women like that!

Great car wash! I usually choose the manual car wash option . For every $2 you get 2 minutes of water or shampoo foam. Deducted one star as i believe there should be more time given but still it's okay. I usually go at midnight as there is no rush and you can take your time in detailing your car with your own wax. On the plus side it is open 24 hours 7 days a week.

I have gone here multiple times, both with a newer truck and my old Ford. Every time I'm treated very well, am given honest feedback about my vehicle, and the work is done well and quick every time. Most places try to make me complete a few hundred dollars worth of service to my Ford, make me feel guilty if I don't. Mobil 1 tells me what I need, and lets me decide on my own time and power what and when to get the work done it needs. I highly recommend Mobile 1!

Huge rave!!! I was due for a transmission flush on my Subaru, decided to come to Mobil 1 as I worked on the industrial side of Imperial Oil up north a few years ago and always loved the products and service. Jayson and his team at this location are masters at what they do. I came in for a Transmission Flush and turns out I needed a drive axle oil replacement (they showed me, it was burnt and my own service schedule said I was due). We were able to make a deal that was fair for everyone and I was blown away by the service. They took the time to go over the vehicle with me as I’ve only had it a few months and were honest about what I should be getting done in the future and what to watch out for on my model. Most paces rush you in and out but I was treated like a VIP coming here. Will be coming here for my oil changes from now on as well because I’ll feel stupid going anywhere else...

Up charged me 15.00 above the price of their synthetic package to a "synthetic oil filter" (there was a generic one on my car when service was done), paid for a cabin air filter that was never done, changed it just recently and it is the original one I had in before service, tried charging 70.00 for an air filter I bought for 25.00, rude, no communication of what was needing to be done. Will never be back.

They advertise using coupons in local newspapers every month, it's just a ploy to get people in and then they just mark it back up to regular price using BS additional costs. Management lacks customer service skills and unless you know your vehicles recommend fluids don't expect them to find the right stuff for you as they put the wrong differential fluid into my vehicle.

Was driving through the area and realized I was due for an oil change while stopping for gas. I pulled in, and an old small man began talking down to me and telling me I’m lucky to have him work on my car?!! He then insulted my car by calling it a “crappy old rustbucket” After telling him that was incredibly unprofessional and rude, he just looked at me and said “stop it sweet heart” before looking me up and down and biting his lip! At this point I assumed he was just a senile old worker, but it turned out he was the owner. After paying $100 for a simple oil change that they up sold me on with services I didn’t request, I left feeling violated by the way he acted and by the services they up sold me on. If you have an ounce of respect for yourself don’t go here. Avoid like the coronavirus is putting it lightly.

I went to use the automatic car wash this morning, paid for $13 for a silver wash then drove in but nothing happened. I waited till 8am when the place opened so I could talk to a worker there and he couldn't figure it out. He called the owner and told me to come back in 30 minutes when the owner would be there. I came back and waited an extra 20 minutes on top of that and the owner never showed up. The guy couldn't give me a refund even tho I paid by card. I had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge.

Horrible. I was I the middle of washing my vehicle, after I had closed one bay door because of the massive winds outside. The attendant stomped by me without a word and opened the door, immediately covering me, and my nice clothes I had been wearing for a buisiness meeting, in soap and water. I said to him, "I was trying not to get wet", and his response was "too bad buddy" and he walked away. I will never return even though it's so close to my home. You don't get mulligans when your that ignorant, sorry.. not sorry. UPDATE! I only used about 3 dollars of soap and water before I had a soap bath. I immediately hit stop and left. However, my credit card was charged $10!!! Haha. These guys are a joke. With customer service this horrendous, it's a wonder their in buisiness at all.

Stopped into car wash to wand wash off 2 trucks and 4 muddy rain suits. Employee explained they didn’t have a wand wash. We then asked if there were any other wand wash locations in Hope as we could not use the automatic wash to clean our rain suits. Employee (maybe owner?) stated, “I don’t give recommendations. You’re a big boy. You can figure it out on your own.” Obviously the convo turned awkward very quickly. We were shocked. We then left quietly. Employee was very rude and condescending. Have never witnessed such behaviour. Will never be going there again.

Arrived here at 6am says car wash open 24 hours, was closed when I arrived. Not sure why it says open 24 hours. You may say it’s a part of the Mobil 1 lube express, but when you look up the oil change parts operating hours it says open 10am, but when you search Mobil 1 car wash it says open 24hours. So I assume it’s a business move so it shows up first but quite a waste a time when your looking to wash your vechile before having to drop it off in the morning

I generally get great service from these guys, I spent a few years of my youth at trade school as a mechanic so I know when a lube shop is trying to scam me and I've never had these guys try to scam me on unneed up-sales like every other lube shop in the world does... I knocked a star off because of all the spam e-mails I get from them.

My experience with the oil change was about as expected. However, shortly after I had the hood up I was given a slip from the Sun instrument that gave my battery voltage as 9.44 saying I had a bad cell. It was recommended I replace my battery. I chose not to do so at the time. When I got home I checked with my own multi-meter and got a voltage of 12.88. I then checked the voltage on another meter and got the same result. You should check and see if your battery checking instrument is accurately set or if you employees are using it correctly. Incorrect advice could have resulted in my buying a battery from them that I did not really need at the time.

I'm going to be as objective as possible but I am extremely disappointed. We went in to put on our winter tires. The staff were pleasant and helpful but did not check all 4 tires to be changed until the last was about to be put on....and that tire turned out to be in terrible condition. Partially our fault for not knowing the tire was in this condition, however they proceeded to put the tire on, charged us full price, and refused to put the old ones back on unless we paid full price again ($150 each time). They did not have any tires for us to purchase instead and we notified the staff that we need to be in Vancouver by tomorrow and therefore could not wait for tires to be ordered. They still refused to put our old summer tires back without charging us again. We cannot afford these two tire changes, new tires, and then a third tire change to correct it, so we kept the dying tire and ordered new ones to be changed in Vancouver. Vancouver is a few hours away and thus we had to drive there with this very hazardous situation of a tire potentially ripping apart en route. The man I spoke with on the phone sounded genuinely regretful, and I know this isn't completely their fault, but their unwillingness to reverse this mistake or compromise with us for safety's sake is just not right. The staff and service were otherwise quite good, but no one should have to feel concerned for their safety the way we do right now in this unfortunate situation.

Unpleasant staff, they got my KMs wrong so my windshield sticker was telling me my next service was 20,000 KMs later vs 8000 KMs later. When I came back to tell if their mistake was rudely told to come back later because they were busy. Wasn't my fault you got the KMs wrong. Manager teach a bit of pleasant customer service

POOR conflict resolution by Management.Very Poor and out of line behaviour of employee. I had a very SERIOUS incident with the Husky gas station beside Mobil 1 Lube Express in Kamloops. It is an ongoing issue where my propane tank was overfilled by husky on my camper van and resulted in a dangerous situation involving police and fire department. Husky did not have a permit to dispense propane that day and there is now an investigation into this. On the day of the incident an employee from Mobil 1 came over to the Husky lot and approached me about the issue. He involved himself in the conflict between myself and the husky district Manager. He began to side with the Husky district manager and verbally attack and police me about the certification of my propane tank and vehicle. He advised husky that they never should have filled my tank because I did not have proper certification which was very inaccurate. He told the Husky district Manager that he felt sorry for him. I advised him to leave. Then I spoke to the police regarding this employee and they said that if he was wearing a Mobil 1 shirt then yes he was definitely representing that business and that I should take this matter to the Better Business bearau. Mobil 1 manager has been unwilling to speak to me on the phone about his employee or to address this situation in any time of decent way. Very poorly reflective of your business to have an employee act this way. This will be taken to the Better Business Bearau.

Went into Mobil 1 Kamloops today and had unbelievable service. Oil change, transmission flush and alignment for a superb price. I bring all 3 of my vehicles in for regular maintenance and am happy to receive a free car wash as well. The guys and girls are always thorough and knowledgeable. I wouldn't bring my vehicles anywhere else. I am a very happy customer.
