The tank was filled to less than half, so I paid to fill it. Arriving at the destination, I was charged $ 100 because it was not full, but it was more than 3 quarters. Le réservoir était rempli à moins de la moitié, alors j'ai payé pour le remplir. En arrivant à destination, on m'a chargé 100$ parce que ce n'était pas plein, mais il était plus qu'au 3 quarts. Très insultant d'avoir un réservoir vide, de le remplir et payer pour les autres. Mauvais services au bureau et au téléphone.

Had awful experience when returning car. The entrance to the parking garage was blocked so had to come in from the back an park on the upper floor. We went to return key, the guy at the rental office insisted that we drive it back to the ground floor. When we asked him to please handle it because we were in a hurry, he huffed and puffed and was not happy about it. We ended up waiting around for him to get the car because we were afraid that he might damage the car if we just left. Later he said it was not his responsibility to drive the car to the bottom level of the garage, but the booking confirmation said nothing about which floor of the garage, just the address of the building... and the entrance on that street was even blocked by a big Budget sign saying to use another entrance... He gave us a lot of attitude and passed another customer before us in the middle of our transaction, even though we arrived first. During this exchange, I noticed a sign behind him that said to return a car, you can park it anywhere in the garage and just return the key... Wouldn't rent from here again.

Worst and frustrating experience ever ! The guy in the pick up counter was extremely rude and the other was drunk. If not noticed carefully they'd charge you more ! And they'd stop answering the calls if you have some problems with the bill. Very poor show overall.

First off, of you haven't signed up for budgets fastbreak, do it!! Walked in car was ready checked my license and we were done. Car was great, no problems. Excellent experience overall. Won't go anywhere else for renting a vechile.

I would never rent from these people again. I paid for my reservation before hand and it said in my contract that they would put an additional hold on my credit card for the price of the rental. I was fine with that. I get to the car rental place...made sure I had everything with me that they might need. Then the guy behind the counter says they are putting a hold of $350. Now I wouldn't of minded but I was never informed of this in any of the paperwork that was sent to me. I even showed the guy my contract that stated otherwise and he pretty much told me too bad. Also because I paid online he could not refund my money I had to call a 1 800 number, which I called. They informed me since I didn't take the car and I'm canceling they were charging me $50 fee. Even though I told her about what my contract said. I was pretty much told it doesnt matter what their contract says, they can charge what they want. So I am out $50 and my plans were ruined because of them. I would give them a negative rating if i could.

Nick was fantastic and 100% deserves a raise. He was friendly, helpful and gave us an awesome dinner recommendation in Halifax upon our arrival. We booked last minute online and it was very costly. He got the price down and upgraded our vehicle. Wonderful experience. Thanks Nick!

WATCH OUT!!! BIG SCAM! Was immediately charged the wrong amount when picking up the rental... My online reservation was for $170, I was charged $278. They updated the contract to state the correct amount, but never refunded the difference, stating that it is just a hold and won't be charged until returning the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle, my card was charged over $600!! Have been contacting this location and customer service for a month now and finally received a response by phone from Budget North America Escalation - only to receive a final response email referring me that they can't help and I need to contact the counter at Jasper! Will be reporting this company and be disputing the charge elsewhere, hope no one else gets scammed like this by them!!

Budget car rentals is completely unprofessional. I would not recommend this company or location to anyone. I rented a car early July 2018. The day after I returned the car, I realized I had left my bluetooth speaker in the vehicle (valued at $250). When contacting Budget regarding the speaker, they were less than helpful. They advised me that the vehicle had already been "cleaned" and nothing could be done as no items were "turned in". It is evident that one of Budget's employees stole the speaker and thus they were unwilling to address the situation properly.
