I have moved out of Guelph. I always used Valet car wash while I was there. I wanted to post this review because I kinda miss it. There is no other place like theirs, at least not where I am now. Great customer service and reasonable prices. Best experience so far.

Edit: This place is undergoing staff reconstruction and seems to be improving. Will update again. --------------- This place was better in the past. I've had my car washed here many times over the years and was happy with the service but I've noticed that the last 3 times I've been here there was soap still on my car. DO NOT buy the towel dry. I got it once a while back and they left small scratches on the trunk. I got them buffed out but when I tried it again last week, I got scratches all over the hood and trunk AGAIN.

When I arrived the worker didn't know the difference between the services offered, was unfriendly as was the supervisor, and told me the wait was 30 minutes. Later (as someone walked in after me and spoke to a more experienced worker) the wait changed to 1.5 hours because that customer was now in line in front of me. I then asked if I could make an appointment for later that day and was told I could, so I made an appointment for 5PM. I left the business and got a voicemail shortly later stating my appointment was not going to be held because I "left without paying the $10 appointment fee". I was never asked to pay the fee before leaving. Don't go here unless you want rude and uniformed service

Quick service, affordable options. Automatic car wash isn't entirely consistent. Sometimes they hit the wrong button and I don't get the wash that was intended. Sometimes equipment in the wash isn't working. Although, when I do have the time to let them know they tend to fix it fairly quick. I find their cost effective options outweigh the inconsistencies. Some people would disagree with me.

Worked here for 4 months wouldn't recommend the job honestly the staff here is friendly but it always seems that any problems gets pushed aside or blamed on customers the pay is minimum wage the company wants to save money by making a interior cleaners do landscaping and other duty's that seemed unfair for the wages their hardest workers get less time off then the slackers of the bunch which causes tension and makes people want to quit every shift you must call in and if you miss a day off they complain yet they call you off whenever they feel like with no payment as you are a contractor not an employee the management don't know what to do half the time customers are constantly frustrated by equipment breaking down and the passes not working which they will blame on payment but I had several people that had troubles with it they offer a good deal for the customers but I wouldn't recommend working at this location I think the best part of this job was Jenn the mamager.

Self wash has gotten a lot better in the past few years, I only use this location for my washes , was always broken bays or missing chemicals, not big on the token thing, preferred using actual coins, now I'm always left over with Un used tokens that just rattle around in my console

Horrible customer service, the person at the desk was giving me attitude from the first minute I went in, I asked a question she insisted that they don’t do that, but when I booked I asked the other person and she said they will do it no problem. The person at the desk kept arguing and rolling her eyes so I didn’t wanna talk to her anymore but the next person instead listened to me believe everything that the desk person said so I decide to leave and not giving my money to a very poor customer service from this one person! I don’t think everyone at the business is like that so I don’t wanna said the place is bad , but they should screen the people they hired to be their faces with the customers. I left very stressed because of this one employee that doesn’t know anything about customers service. If your not happy with your job than quit!!!!!!

Their monthly passes for car washes are AMAZING deals. The car wash has been closed a few times in the past month or two because it needed work done to it. Guess that's what happens when the volume of customers and car washes skyrocket due to this new deal. I've also noticed that there's still soap on my car and other cars after the car wash. The place can also get very busy because everyone has a pass now. Nonetheless, it's still great value for the price. You can't get a deal like this anywhere else.

Great self-serve carwash bays allow you to use high-pressure washer and several other settings (soap, wax, tire cleaner, etc.) to do whatever custom cleaning job you want. Coin-operated 24-7 service takes $1 and $2 coins, and if I remember correctly, it's $4 minimum payment and $2 per 1/2 hour. I just used the high-pressure rinse setting to scrub clean some old wood furniture that had been sitting in a basement for 3 years, and the before/after difference was amazing! Very hard java wood was nearly solid black with dirt and dust, but after a good pressure-washing the underlying wood grain is about 80% visible. Really convenient, and does a great job!

Just got home from an interior clean only and have to say I am truly impressed and my SUV was pretty messy, food caked on everywhere to start. Workers were very pleasant, they did a great and thorough job, car smells great and looks stunning! Even left a bag in the back with our childrens' hidden treasures. Our waiting experience was great, air conditioned area to wait, clean bathroom, comfortably seating and wifi, all important when you are waiting with children. Definitely will be back...and will be bringing husbands car later this week.

The drive thru car wash is ALWAYS closed for maintenane. It is extremely frustrating. I don't know if they close to save money because they offer the memberships so low but its almost to the point now out of 5 times I drive there it is closed 3. That is is ONE week. Last year half the brushes in the car wash never worked and now this year they close almost every day for "emergency" maintenance. I decided to spend even more money than the membership and pay to wash my vehicle in the bay...BIG mistake. First bay I tried I put the money in and the brush would not dispense any soap. I then tried a second bay and that one dispensed soap but the hose leaked and I was covered in blue soap all over my white shirt. Honestly this place is a dive now.....not sure what happened because it use to be amazing. Will not be renewing my membership...not worth it anymore.

Ok, location is good and fairly well maintained. Prices have continued to get higher for less continually. I typically use the self serve bays and I've watched almost yearly how you get less and less time for $8, when the location opened the huge promotion was 'wash as long as you want*', then went to 25minutes, then to 20minutes, now I think it's about 12minutes. You can't tell me the industry has changed corporate product and soap prices that much since you opened to make such drastic alterations to your consumer base. I still like the place but I'm disappointed with your pricing strategy.

Turned my Vehicle blue at coin wash. I have always appreciated their services and will continue to use them. But just a warning that the dye is so strong in the coin wash it can etch into plastics on white vehicles. Hope they can eliminate the dye to avoid this issue.

Never do interior cleaning here! I bought a new car and took here to have its interior and exterior washed and cleaned. I bought premium interior package to have a better service, but they did not touch the interior at all! Do not waste your money. Exterior was not bad though, normal wash.

Honestly I went through their car was thinking my car would end up clean and shiny. I was wrong. I came out of the car wash and my car had dried soap all over it looked like the car wash didn't even do it's job. Also I was looking at my hood and bumper afterwards and it still had salt from the roads on it. I honestly think the car wash was a waste of money because all it did is leave dried soap on the car and missed all the salt that was on it. I had to finish the was at home do to this. If you are going to go here I would recommend washing your car at home.

UPDATE: A manager contacted me after I posted the review below and offered to resolve the situation. I brought my car in and was pleased to see that they did a much better job the second time around. I'm hoping this situation was a one off, regardless it was good customer service and i'll probably be back due to that. Changed the review from a one star to five. Paid $40.66 for a interior clean with a trunk cleaning. The dash wasnt even dusted, and they didnt touch the trunk even though I paid for extra. They used a dirty grease rag to clean my windshield which only made it worse. I literally paid $40.66 so they could park my car in their shop for 2+ hours then spend 5 min lightly dusting it. My only hope is that others dont waste their money here. (EDIT: Updated prices for accuracy)

Decent. The reason for 3 stars is for the short amount of time given when using the self serve wash for the amount of money out in. I put 6 dollars and only got 4 and a half minutes. Along with the fact of the small bays, fitting a half ton pickup was hard. Along with the vacuums have shorter hoses and offer better value for payment but are nothing overalls stunning. Overall though does the trick but could be better. Also to note I have not used the valet wash so I will update the review later for when I have used that

I love this car wash! Its the best place to get my car washes. At first I was hesitant because it is a touch car wash, but I haven't seen any scratches on my car at all, which is great! It's also the cheapest place to get car washes $22 for a month, unlimited washes, DEAL BREAKER! I used to spend at $100 a month behind car washes. The employees are always kind and help you out with whatever questions you have! The waiting time during peak hours is not that long either. I haven't done the interior cleaning yet, but I will be soon. I would highly recommend this place!

This was my first time choosing interior service there. I have no experience of how to choose the service. The receptionist explained to me patiently. Then I chose ULTRA CLEAN. After I took the exterior service, two ladies(Sam B) cleaned and worked hard for more than one and a half hours. My SUV is clean now. Good service.

I worked here for 3 months management pushed us to sell upgraded washes level 3/4 so that customers could get underbody spray, realized the underbody sprayer was broken and just removed never fixed. (Edit) The under spray was not fixed as even managers who worked there told me it had been broken for some time and instead of replacing it they just removed it seeing how no customer would be able to tell that their undercarriage was being washed or not.

I arrived at 2:30 to have my car detailed. I was told they would be finished at 3:30. When I looked at the job they did there were obvious spots that were missed. Including the back seat stain I paid an extra $25 to clean. They continued working on the car and I noticed that my phone adapter was missing. I checked the bag of miscellaneous stuff they found in the car and it was gone. Michelle Dasilva told me to go and buy a new one and bring back the receipt and they would replace it. So I waited in line at Best Buy for 20 minutes due to covid 19 restrictions. I got out at 4:50 and got back to valet car wash with minutes to spare before they closed. Michelle has left and a nice girl apologized for the service I received. Because of that apology and the fact that they did replace the $50 adapter I am not giving them 1 star. But I will never go back and I will tell anyone interested to avoid their establishment. Their staff seemed over worked. The job cost me $100 and I’m not satisfied with the result.

I have brought the concerns to the management and front desk but it has gone on deaf ears. They also provided a token which was eliminated without any notification or rationale. The wash and dry quality is most definitely substandard. I purchased the Extreme wash and the quality is terrible as my vehicle looks equally as dirty and far more stains after I am out of the wash. The dryer is rushed and vehicle. My the time I get home, my vehicle is full or water and wax spots. I should not have to get out of my car and hand dry my whole vehicle. Frequently the marker they mark your windshield with partially stays on the windshield after you are out of the wash. One thing the staff providing guidance into the wash need to do is really be focused on their duties to make sure no scuff and damage is caused to tires or wheels. On a few occasions, the staff have been pre-occupied with talking to one another and not looking at the vehicle that is making its way into the wash bay. They definitely need to make some improvements to retain or grow their business. In its current state, I would definitely not recommend Valet Car Wash.

This car wash offers the best value in Guelph. The monthly packages offer huge savings over pay-as-you-go car washes. I typically wash my car 4 times per month for little more than the cost of one car wash elsewhere. Today I had the interior cleaned as I haven't cleaned it in almost a year. My car looks showroom fresh now and it only took just over an hour. The staff is exceptionally friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied.

My husband decided to surprise me with car cleaning for my birthday this Thurs. He bought the works package which cost him $170 as he was hoping to make the car look brand new on the inside to surprise me. Unfortunately when he brought the car home we were both really disappointed. The console was not touched, there were crumbs still in the seats, dirt still inside the door, chocolate still stuck on the car seat (he said they were supposed to be shampood and covered in plastic but he was mislead), the floor mats still look dirty and the trunk didn't look like it was touched. I almost cried what I heard he spent but thought I'll just go back and get a touch up but couldn't! My husband said he didn't get his receipt because the car wash machine wasn't working and the attendant said he needed to keep it for proof for his manager, so much for that. We will not be going back here again...the service we received was very disappointing for the price we paid!

This is my first time using this self serve car wash at Valet. I went around 9pm and it was quiet and empty. I like how there is tap to pay so I can use Apple Pay. Spent $8 and got 13min of time which is pretty decent from what I’ve seen around. The only negative thing I’ve found is that the pressure washer PSI is weaker compared to many other places I’ve used. Seems to be a lower PSI even compared to my gas powered pressure washer at home, which is about 2100psi @ 2.3GPM. Overall, it is a great place to wash your car and everything seems to be working properly. I’ll definitely come back again and test another bay.

This place WAS the best car wash in guelph when I was in highschool, decided I should give it another visit not too long ago and I don't know happened.. Everything seemed to be fine untill I put my money into the machine, I entered the 4 dollar fee to start it up and nothing.. So I put in another dollar and nothing. So I walked up to the doors where the detailing is done where I saw 3 employees and none bothered to see what the problem was, I then tried to start the machine again and nothing. So I went back and finally after 5 minutes of standing there and a glance or two from employees that someone finally decided to see what was up. I told him that the machine ate my 5 bucks and he said sorry I can't give you the money back, that made me pretty upset but I finally got it going when I used my debit card. All was okay as I was rinsing my car, then I selected the foam brush and bam no soap came out.. So I needed to use the wax gun as soap. Last but not least I walked over to the drying towel dispenser and not to my shock it was empty.. Sad to say but never going back here again.. Over paid for a underpar car wash

The worst car wash I have ever been to. My car got hit from the back because of a guy who had no idea how to drive. Also, The staff had no idea what so ever how to organize the cars in one lane. Usually, people go to a car wash to wash their vehicles not damage it — the worst car wash ever. I would rate it zero star if I can.

Place is awful. I took my car in to have "cleaned thorughly" for $180. I was expecting a decent job as they had it for 2.5 hours. When I got in it looked like they maybe spent a half hour wiping most things down, but saw dirt and grime everywhere I looked it seemed. I could've did the job myself in 20 minutes if I knew it would look like that. Had to have a guy come out and clean for an additional half hour and it was still subpar at best. My mats had dirt and everything still on them. Very sloppy business where they rush the jobs to make a buck or 150 as it seems for the "2hrs" they had it. Very unsatisfied!

I had booked an appointment and paid the $10 in advance. They said I would be out of there within the hour and it turned out to be 1 and 45 min in which made me late for my other appointment. I bought the luxury car detailing wash and after waiting another 45 min the windows were streaky, there was still DIRT AND MUD stuck to the seats they didnt clean the door panels; my car was a wreck! I paid a total of $70.00 and all they did was a shitty vacuum job and slightly wiped the dash board, not to mention, waste my time and made me late! INSANE! Its a bunch of kids working there that dont give a flying f***. Gahhhh im so angry. AND THEN when i went back to complain, the super tall guy was yelling and screaming and was irate! Im discusted and i WILL NOT RETURN nor do I believe anyone else should; MARK MY WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been using valet car for almost 3 months. But, 15 days back I felt a bump while going through car wash and my car was scratched up very badly. On the hood, trunk and doors, you can see more than a dozen scratches. This was happening from day one and for every car wash I got one scratch on my car. All those scratches were patterned scratches all over my cars body. However, car wash employees were not ready to accept it and I never got a response on complaint. I should get a fair chance and someone should review the scratches

Audi Q3 done today June05 2021 at 3:30 pm. Absolutely the worst experience in my life. It cost me CAD70 to do just the interior that included vacuuming, windows, plastics, dust etc.Everything was included but the seats. Please see the pictures and judge yourself. I do hope that somebody from the management sees this and make the person who had done the job accountable. We went home and started to do again what should have been done in the shop and what I paid for. I'm not going back ever again. 06/08/2021 - In response to Michelle D. When I booked the interior cleaning there was no opening until the end of the day so I do understand that time is precious for you as it is for me. Saving time and hoping for a quality job is the main reason why I went to a professional car cleaner. Unfortunately I do not have the time to go back and wait for a resolution. I could have taken many other pictures like the dashboard dressing not spread evenly, rear windshield not cleaned properly in the corners , very greasy solution used on the doors that comes off on the skin or clothing and so on. Posting many pictures prove that this was not just a missed spot but an entirely poor job. This is my second time at this shop with the same result so I did give it another try. I do leave positive and negative reviews based on my experience when I feel that doing so it would help others to make the right choice and service providers to evaluate their performance. Good car cleaning place most of the time. When there are many vehicles, they speed up the process and cars are not cleaned properly. Kids working there do their best, but the managers need improvement. Reply to the reply: It has happened a couple of times that I go and get a carwash and the wash process is faster than normal. As recent as February and March. Not that I time it, but it is noticeably faster and my vehicles come out still covered in soap. Regarding the managers, I have experienced poor attitude from them on three separate occasions, not about issues, just their general demeanor seems tired and bothered. I have seen other clients deal with them as well and it is the same. In contrast, kids working there are always nice and friendly and go the extra mile for the clients. Hope you take this to help managers develop a better attitude and not just force them to be nicer.

By far the best interior cleaning place in guelph. It may not be a full "detail" but the price you pay is not ridiculously expensive. They also have a variety of services to choose from, the things most of us dread - scrubbing off all the bugs off your front end, towel drying including door jams and sparkling up your rims and tires! Not only interior cleaning is why i choose this place as my first pick. Their exterior wash is by far the best car wash, I have never had the headache of soap being left over or my car being extra wet leading to sun drying spots.

Purchased Ultra Clean package and was charged extra for small spot of dog hair in between rear seats that seat covers didn't protect. Drivers side floor was improperly cleaned and faux suede inserts on front leather seats are either water-marked or they used protectant on them. Very disappointed.

Overall the cleaning job was well done. There are some small spots missed, but overall I’m happy with the cleaning. The customer service however, was not good. I waited 30 minutes to “check in” for my cleaning despite having an appointment, with only 2 people in line in front of me. Although they say you must book an appointment, both in front of me were walk ins, which delayed my service. I again waited approx 30 minutes to pick up my vehicle after the time indicated, which ended when I saw my vehicle being parked in the lot and approached an employee. They need to form a better pick up/drop off system so customers don’t waste so much time. Many people saw how slow the line was moving and left.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience this past week with customer service. I called in to inquire as to why the car wash had been closed again during a trip in. This was the third time this month, and wanted to understand why the car wash has been closed so often recently. The manager, Michelle, took the call and was extremely quick to dismiss the question and deflect as she asked why I hadn't signed up for email updates. I have never heard of this before, and have come to learn it was recently implemented, however would have had no impact on my other visits when the car wash was broken (not for "routine maintenance"). After trying a few times to ask/finish my questions and get some help, she continued to talk quickly, dismiss the conversation and abruptly comeback to her initial point. I asked for her to please listen, as I hadn't finished any parts of my reason for calling in, after which she became defensive/silent, paused for 5 seconds and sharply hung up the phone on me. I've called into the management team after the fact, and they are currently making a review of the situation with their upper management and ownership. Unfortunately, I've been told Michelle is part of upper management, however I am hopeful the investigation will proceed bias free. I am expecting a timely resolution to be found as to her ongoing poor job performance (see previous google reviews specific to Michelle as well has feedback I have received from the fellow manager/employee of the Valet Car Wash about her) and our current/and or future loyal membership status with Valet Car Wash Guelph. Looking forward to hearing from the management team and ownership promptly.

First, I was impressed with their great health and safety Covid process. Then, the receptionist was very professional and after consulting with Maddy, they helped me make my husband's day! Maddy not only did a terrific job cleaning his truck but she actually stayed late to achieve that result for us! I have never had a better experience anywhere else! My dad brought his Mustang there for a full clean. The outside was CoVERED with water spots. We had to wash it again at home. The inside had coffee stains that they didn't bother to clean and the leather sets were still clearly dirty. We essentially paid for them to vacuum a coupe and apply tire shine. Not the worst but very mediocre. There are better options out there for the price.

I booked an appointment to clean my car inside and outside with a full cleaning of the inside, they did such a great job of getting the salt stain from the carpet and cleaning the inside so it's just as clean as it was when it was brand new. I went through this car wash yesterday and my car is covered in small cosmetic scratches. The scratches are long horizontal scratches that match the brushes used in the exterior automatic wash. I spoke with management less than 12 hours after the wash and they completely denied any responsibility. If you value how your car looks, do not bring it here.

The weather tec mats i have were cleaned so well that I had never had them that clean. My windows were very clean with no left over spots. I am fussy and sometimes feel I shouldn't bother getting my car cleaned somewhere because i always have to touch it up but I was pleasantly surprised. I also was surprised seeing the low review rating this place has at 3.6. They deserve a better rating! Maybe they have made some improvements lately. They are definitely worth checking out. Most of the time when I stop there in the morning on my way to work they car wash is closed "due to maintenance" - I'm not sure why they can't do maintenance off hours when it's closed but they always do it during business hours which is extremely inconvenient as I have to go pay to wash it someone else making my wash pass useless. On top of that the sprayers sometimes don't work or have full pressure leaving my car dirty....I'm not allowed to go back through again as my UNLIMITED PASS only let's me use the wash ONCE PER DAY. very ironic and false advertising.

I have used Valet carwash services for many years, and without fail, I have been satisfied with the services they have rendered. However, this review is not motivated by the delivery of their more than adequate cleaning services, but rather from the interaction I had with an employee working on Sunday, March 13, 2021. To provide context, a gift card was purchased for me (a small amount of 5 washes). Valet currently charges a reasonable amount of $43.96 plus tax for the 5 carwash gift card. The card in question is more than 1 year old, and Valet informed me that they would not honour the card. This is problematic. In Ontario, the Consumer Protection Act forbids imposing expiration dates on gift cards (although there are some special exceptions, none of which that would apply in this circumstance). For reference, just type in "Consumer Protection Act" and "Ontario" into google. I would provide the URL but this is not allowed by google reviews. Notably, on the Valet website, there is language indicating that Valet has a policy that imposes an expiration on gift cards. I'm not a lawyer, but seemingly this contradicts the wording, if not the spirit, of the Consumer Protection Act of Ontario. When I communicated to the person working at Valet that the expiration date likely does not apply in this circumstance given the laws of the province, the person working for Valet then proceeded to inform me that what I had was not in fact a gift card despite it looking identical to the card posted on their website and which the person who gave me the card confirmed was purchased as a gift card. I don't have a receipt for the original purchase of the car washes, so I suppose it is a possibility that the person who gave me the present is engaging in some sort of Machiavellian scheme, for reasons unknown, to put me in the circumstance of one day having a negative interaction with a local carwash. However, such behaviour would be entirely inconsistent with my experiences with this person over the past 24 years. Expiration policies aside, the reason I have written a review was the manner in which the person working at Valet communicated their position. Their communication style could, at best, be considered an odd combination of suspicious of my position, abrupt, and dismissive. I suppose there are individuals who try to take advantage of retailers, but to assume that this was what was taking place in this situation, is unprofessional. I have tremendous sympathy for anyone with a customer facing role, and I go to great lengths to treat these important members of society with high regard. However, implicit in this social contract, is that respect should be mutual. The lack of respect in this interaction stands in stark contrast to my previous interactions with the staff of Valet. For me, this is not about the car washes. In fact, should the owners of Valet decide to reach out to me, I would be delighted to donate all the car washes to Meals on Wheels. To me, this is about the rude customer service of a person with a degree of authority at the business.

Got the ultra combo clean at south Guelph car wash. Comes with towel dry but that was never done as there was water marks all over front window, mirrors and parts of body. Did not vacuum in creases of seats where dirt accumulates. Wheels looked good but vehicle overall mediocre. There was no inspection before I left lot and I had to get someone to clean front window. Even that was a bad job and had to point that out to them too. No apologies. They just wanted me out as fast as possible. Be warned they do not clean in glove boxes or centre consoles so don't waste your time cleaning them out before you take your vehicle in.

Two subpar experiences with this place. Extremely rude staff, and both times I was there I witnessed managers being patronizing and demeaning to their workers. $50 for the basic and they don’t even wipe down the mud off your seats, clean the inside of your windshield, or get the crumbs out from the door jam floors? What’s more basic than those things? When I left, there was winded still sprayed on my dash that hadn’t been wiped, mud still on the seats, and crumbs everywhere. Really horrible.

I usually do the self vaccum and car bay wash and enjoy the time alloted. Today I paid for the works express plus package and having an SUV and pets i knew Id pay a bit more. However 259 bucks and when I got my car back I still had dirt in the back of the passenger seat, dirt and grime in my cup holder, gear shift and door crevices, I was not too impressed. My exterior looked great and so did my seats and carpets but the rest was meh.

Absolutely terrible service I'd recommend you go anywhere else in Guelph. They knocked my back bumper off in their car wash and refused to even refund me let alone cover the cost to get it fixed. I get my car back and there's still a huge stain on my carpet looks like they completely ignored it. Not sure what I paid for, could've smashed my own bumper off and saved 100 bucks. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I had them perform the full interior clean, and it was the first time since buying the car in 2018 that I had a full clean done. I was expecting that I would have to do some stuff myself after like the grim in the cup-holders or the door holders, but when I got in... WOW! it was as good as the day I bought the car. Seriously! Even during the heat wave, they still managed to make it look new again. This was my first time using a service like this, and won't be the last now that I have seen how good this turned out. It cost with everything a bit over $100 between interior and exterior, but worth every cent I spent. Thank you Sam B for doing a fantastic job. See you again in the fall for a pre-winter clean.

First of all a $10 booking fee is nonsense; especially for the prices they charge. The waiting times for this place are long enough to motivate me to drive to Cambridge where I can spend a similar amount of money but get a better cleaning and an oil change included. My car was cleaner then when I brought it in but not $75 cleaner.

And the velocity membership is amazing i used to pay $100+ a month for extreme washes and now i only pay $22.59 a month for the month and i can wash everyday!! And the staff always make you feel welcome the managers there are absolutely amazing always polite and very professional aswell as the front cashiers!!!! This was the first time I visited this car wash due to my fiancé's recommendation and I wasn't impressed with the customer service. I paid for the option to receive a towel dry, however, once I finished the car wash the guy was waving me through the exit (I thought maybe he was going to finish detailing the car outside) so I stopped in the middle of the exit door to show them my ticket; from there no direction was given and they finished the service. I'm a pretty easy going person but it seemed like they just wanted me out the door. I found it frustrating that the side mirrors weren't dried properly; the one part of the car I can see still has water on it..

Good for what it is. They have a credit/debit tap at the wash bays and the vacuum areas so you dont need to bother with bringing any coins or tokens or anything. That makes it pretty easy to just stop in anytime.

I was a supervisor at this location and the management and owners truly do not care about this business. We are told that if something breaks in the car wash our immediate response should be that it is not our fault because there are warnings posted outside the car wash entry. Basically it is your fault for entering at your own risk. My experience with the manager at this location is that in the 2 years I was employed she only showed up to give us crap. I never once received a "good job" or any positive feedback from my manager. Employees are expendable and are not properly trained but are given high expectations of being professional. If you don't believe me then go to the location and look at the supervisors that are put in place. They range from age 15 - 20 and if they are older then that, they were hired off the street and given a fancy name tag. My experience with the owner is that he only shows up to collect a pay check. One of the days I was working and a bolt fell out of one of the cloth spindles that presses up against your car. When I reported it to the owner Mike, he told questioned why I was asking him instead of putting the bolt back on the spindle. I have no qualifications to be working on the equipment inside that car wash and he told me to put the bolt back in the spindle... Do not go to this car wash under any circumstances. It is the puppy mill of the car wash industry.

First time experience was only okay. Paid for the 20$ extreme wash. No one instructed me to put my vehicle in neutral until I was half way in the washing tunnel(maybe I missed a sign?). Truck came out at the end soapy still in many areas, tires mostly clean but rims were definitely not clean. Still chunks of dirt stuck in the corners and soap left on them. Body of my truck seemed clean enough. Although lots of water drops still left everywhere after the air dryer at the end of the wash. *Edit* just noticed my antenna is now broken after the wash... changing three stars to 1 for this reason

BEWARE !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE ! Took my car through the car wash and came out with a large gash in the side of the tire. Warning light came on seconds after leaving the car wash. Owners and manager Michelle would not do anything about it and blamed me for the damage saying that i hit something. Both CAA and Mercedes mechanics agreed that the location of the cut was caused by a wheel cleaning device (which is easily seen in the photos). Extremely frustrated and the manager laughed on the phone calling me an idiot when i mentioned this. Take your car at your own risk, this is a very sleezy operation and there are several better options in the area. Currently in the litigation process and will be pressing charges.

I called the Guelph location this morning to discuss the continual morning maintenance closures. The wash was closed both today and yesterday mornings and probably 4 other mornings the past 4 weeks. Like many others, I pay a month fee for unlimited washes. The man I spoke with actually called me an $&@hole and told me that $&%holes aren’t welcome at the wash, then hung up. Dropped in to get a quick wash as I had bird droppings down my hood, windshield and sunroof. Grabbed the basic wash because my car was actually already clean except for those few spots. Was surprised that the top brush didn't come down. Went back through to say that I still had bird droppings because the top brush doesn't come down. The kid said he thinks that's because it isn't included in the basic wash. So I left with a car that wasn't much cleaner than when I arrived. I was disappointed so I decided to call just to make sure he was right. They verified he was. Was a bit surprised they didn't allow me to go through again. Since when did having a good cleaning of the top of your car become a premium? Oh well, now I know basic means basic! Won't make that mistake again.

I had my first visit at Gordon for Plus exterior wash and basic light clean package for the interior. I was told at first that I had to wait close to two hours for the service and I decided to go home and changed my outfit and came back five minutes later, and my car was serviced immediately. I paid for the services that I wanted and asked for instructions. The guy that has the name tag as Manager ( I think his name is Matt - he was wearing glasses and black haired) , explained to me in the bloody fastest way anyone could possibly imagine. Being the first time doing it here, I was a bit confused and asked him to repeat the instructions. He looked at me like I'm an idiot for not knowing how to do this and at the of his sentence, he slammed his palm on the table on top of my receipt and said something like "just give this to the guy at the back". I mean.. you don't need to be rude like that. The service from the guys who were doing the cleaning was marvelous , obviously. It's just the slamming and this bit of poor customer service that has bugged me for days.

My interior hadn't been cleaned in over 2 years and need to go in for Valet's "Spring Fling" and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Been coming here for a few years,and have always been satisfied with the service. This afternoon was different. For starters, one of their machines on the car wash was broken (fire and snow retardant). I asked for my usual inside and outside clean (160+tax). The bugs on the front of the hood weren't removed. The car wasn't waxed. The inside was cleaned (roughly speaking) and the seats were shampooed, to their credit, but absolutely no attention to detail. The cup holder still had gunk in it. The windshield wasn't cleaned from the inside. I had stuck my Toronto parking pass there, the glue was still around. Usually when I get the interior cleaned, everything is cleaned with a cleaning agent that has a strong smell and is slightly waxy. This was missing this time. I got the manager to clean my hood, but that's all. The mirrors weren't wiped down with a towel so there were still water marks on them. I'm deeply unhappy with the service today, but I'm still prepared to give them another shot. I hope they get their standards back up. Click on the profile of other reviewers, they are all over the place (world). They are fake. I would be very wary of this place.

I can’t reccomend their car wash to anyone. It is VERY cheap but you get what you pay for. After going through their most expensive “extreme” wash only a few times it has messed up the clear coat on my car in a few spots that was previously in perfect condition because of the harsh brushes and chemicals they use. If you want to keep a car you car about clean don’t take it here, you’ll thank yourself later. EDIT: As the response shows, they obviously take no responsibility for it, as it seems with every situation it seems, maybe one day they’ll hire competent people in their customer service department! Unfortunately 21 years of perfect paint going bad with swirl marks and messed up clearcoat within two weeks of using their wash seems a little suspect to me atleast, thanks for the great investigation Valet!

my experience talking with a manager named michelle was a joke...but let me first say...the gordon street valet location is amazing - the attendants, the wash itself...the woodlawn street location has a joke of a woman attendant that makes the entire location the worst experience ever....she is always frowned up....border line rude as she hardly says a word....well the last two visits to the woodlawn location forced me to write this review....i pulled up to the woodlawn rd, guelph, location at basically the same time, two days in a row and was told the car wash was closed - the day before because the car wash door was broken, yesterday because the car wash was closed due to the need for a 'break'.....i know breaks are needed, i'm not a monster....i even asked the attendant how long her break was because i had no problem waiting....reluctantly turning around to address me, the female attendant said breaks are normally 15 minutes, but because she had to push back her break, it would be longer....common now...really? clearly she just did not want to be bothered...when i called the gordon st, guelph, location to speak with a mgr, the man that answered said he was surprised if a car was still in the car wash, the attendant should have let me go through BEFORE taking her break and he would contact his mgr and have them call me today...he said iven he was frustrated that she would not letme go through and that is not how we do things......so michellle calls me today and repeats herself a good 5 times saying the same thing, 'attendants need breaks'....not sure how helpful that was to me....at least, one would expect a few obligatory, 'i know how frustrated you must be....i would be two...i hate your timing two days in a row resulted in you not getting your car washed - this is not normally what would happen...' ....but now, michelle sounded more frustrated that she even had to talk to me at all!!! i am laughing now because this crap customer service, while not reflecting everyone at this business, sure makes you wish there was a better option!

Be careful when coming here and make sure you take your own personal items out of your car. Conveniently, my husband went in with an auxiliary cable/iphone adapter plugged into his car and drove out with it missing. He had to go buy a new one, drive back to the store where they would only reimburse him half of the cost. Edit: After further review, not only is the adapter missing, but the charger to his dash cam which plugs into the lighter socket is completely broken. Again, convenient that he drove in with it plugged in, and drove out with it thrown on top of the dash and the end ripped off. Since it can't be charged, the dash cam is now garbage and a new one has to be bought. Seriously Valet Car Wash? Thumbs up on the incompetence. Edit #2: After your reply, it is simply not enough to say "we have no reason to lie and we have no use for that cord". The cord is NEVER unplugged from the truck, it is a service vehicle and is always plugged in; what he said was it was unplugged from the phone. Ultimately this is a "he said she said"; by reviewing all your responses to the negative reviews on google, it is clear that you have absolutely no concern other than trying to discredit every negative comment, rather than take some onus on what may have perhaps been your actual doing. The only person who would have a need for that cord is someone who did not have it; he had it coming in, and did not have it leaving. Plain and simple.

I always use this place to get my cars clean but oh boy it's been few 3 times I am keep getting worse services. I went to get my car they said we forget to get the exterior and tires. Very disappointed with the wash I received. Paid for the extreme wash and car was covered with soap and water. The marker the girl put on the front window at the enterence didn’t even come off. Terrible water spots, not sure they soften the water at all. The place has definitely gone down hill over years. Even the do it yourself bays are outdated and unreliable. Think if you’re only using the the wash as a prewash to get the heavy dirt off it probably good enough. Don’t waste the money on the extreme wash.

I received gift cards for this car wash on Gordon and asked in store attendant how many washes were left on cards and she abruptly said none on two and two on last card but they expired . There are no purchase dates on card so no way of knowing when expectation date is . She was quite no caring to this and threw them in garbage . I asked for them as I thought there was no exp date but do see one year from purchase date . Not on card. ?? They never offered to add these to another card. Admittedly my truck was very dirty. I called in advance for an estimate. Booked a time which cost an extra $10 (larceny). Explained that the truck was quite dirty in and out and needed the seats shampooed. Didn't mention the dog hair, and they didn't ask. Got there and the price was about $20 higher than what they said over the phone. Fair enough. Except they didn't inspect the truck before they raised the price. Paid $180. Then I drove through a car wash! No hand washing of the exterior? For $180 I expect a little more! Picked the truck up a couple of hours later. Seats still had some stains, dirt in crevices around the floor boards, middle console not cleaned at all, floor mats given a good wipe, but not clean. Bed of the truck is still dirty (it will get dirty again, I know). Still dog hair on the seats, although they apparently did spend extra time trying to remove it. Not faulting them here as it is much better than it was. In short, I could have done the job myself in 2 or 3 hours. I was expecting much more based on user reviews and recommendations from friends. I complained and was given a free car wash coupon. That's something, but not much.

Do not come here, this place is horrible. You might think that a car wash is a car wash and I'm not talking about the full service wash, I'm talking about the self serve. The first wash bay I tried to use was broken and would not accept my coins. The second wash bay I tried did work, but the pressure was so bad it could not clean my car properly.

Great deal. 28 bucks all in a month for unlimited car washes at the highest end. Still very reasonable. I like to wash my car at least twice a month. Can’t wait to see what other services they have!

A bit expensive compared to equivalent washes in Toronto,where for the same amount they hand dry your vehicle. An extra 6 bucks to hand dry,puts the middle range wash at 20 plus dollars with tax.

I've been coming here for years and that used to be great. They must have had a management change because the staff is not what it used to be. The kids running the place seemed a little snotty.

The service was immaculate, although for the price, I was hoping they did an external wash as well. Would go back though!

We used the self-service options, vaccuming starts at $2 and car wash starts at $4. We ended up cleaning the whole car for $12, which I thought was fair. The equipment was easy to use with clear instructions. You can use a debit/credit card to operate the machines. Staff were also friendly and helpful. We'll be coming back!
