Extremely happy, will be returning! TL;DR Very good communication, Justin gave the car a once over to make sure I wasn't wasting my time and money on a car that was to old. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. I've had a few bad experiences at various mechanics around Guelph so I had been driving all the way to Fergus for a shop that I trusted. I needed a quick safety and they were so polite on the phone I decided to take my chances! Both Justin and Steve were extremely helpful and good with communication. When I first brought it in Justin gave it a once over so see if it was even worth working on before charging me a cent! Steve called to confirm work and was also nice to deal with in the shop. I would highly recommend them and will be going to their shop from now on.

It is a family own business. Now it has passed to the third generation. The owner is Steve. He and his cousin are very friendly and both have a very good customer service. They don't open weekend but you can park the car and drop the key in the key box. They provide the shuttle service, which is nice. They also will remind you when the tire need to be changed, so you don't need to remember when to do what list. Overall, recommended to my friends. Some suggestion that if they can provide a cleaning service in the future and have a tire storage will be even better.

I've been a customer of Andy's since 1998, when I moved to Guelph. I had a 7 year stint towing part time for CAA so I became familiar with all garages in the area. My loyalty to the garage increased as I saw garages come and go. Andy's Auto is a 3rd generation garage. They have stood the test of time. Of all the garages I have been to, this one has the best customer service, good rates and excellent quality control. Its the only garage I would trust sending my kids to. I know they will only fix what needs to be fixed. They treat you like family.

I brought my car to Andy's last October for a CV boot replacement. The customer service was great! They explained the process and my available options. While performing a complimentary front end inspection, they caught that one of my strut bolts was cross-threaded and they tapped out a larger bore hole for me - saved me expensive tire wear down the line. I will be taking my car back for future service and I would recommend them to anyone!

While I waited over a week for Canadian Tire to give me an estimate which never arrived, I thought I'd try out this place and ended up thoroughly impressed. My issue required a new part to be fabricated which Canadian Tire was not able to do - Andy's Auto got it done in a short time frame and charged a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone in Guelph who needs any work done on their vehicle. My experience with Andy's Garage? Downright laughable in the how-can-this-be-happening sort of way. I took my 2004 Jetta in to Andy's based a recommendation from a friend. My car was making a little tinging noise over the front left wheel. Get a call from Andy's after their "diagnosis", saying #1 I need new rear brakes, #2 I need a new front left wheel bearing, and #3 the noise came from a cracked ABS ring or tone ring on one of the rear wheels. I agreed to have the brakes done and skip the wheel bearing for now. They showed me the cracked ABS ring that they removed and sent me on my way. Noise was still there though, so I bring the car back in. Solution? Take the other ABS ring off of the other rear wheel. Result? Try to drive the car off the lot, only to find it has NO POWER. The car could not accelerate properly and shuddered, with ABS lights flashing. I bring the car back immediately, and the mechanic who worked on my car has no idea what happened. Goes inside to talk to Steve, who apparently tells him they weren't supposed to take the ABS rings off. I went in and said that's fine, put them back on then. Oh no, they say, not that simple. We'd have to install an entire new wheel hub assembly, which we'll give you a deal at $220/side. What?? I drove the car home very carefully, and was discussing the matter with a friend of a friend who's a mechanic a couple days later. He was astounded they took the rings off at all, and told me to just press the ESP button (turns off traction control) and I should be able to drive my car relatively normally. It worked! Too bad Andy's couldn't tell me to do that. By the way, this whole time? Original noise is still there. I finally take the car to a friend of my dad who is a mechanic. Here's the rub: the noise? A dislodged dust plate over the front left wheel. Mechanic reached up and popped it back into place. The ABS rings? Oh, he just bought a couple $15 rings and slapped them back on the existing hub assemblies. ABS lights off, no need to turn off traction control any time the car is driven. Moral of the story: Either the mechanics who worked with me at Andy's are UTTER SLIMEBALLS, or they are far too brainless to diagnose a loose dust plate. Copy and pasting this review to send to the BBB.

These guys are the best I have ever dealt with across several cities, including other vendors within Guelph. They fit me in last minute for winter tire install and oil change in November when everyone else was booking 2 weeks in advance. Keep in mind they already had a full schedule and were also booking 2 weeks in advance, but they were direct in telling me they want my business and intend to keep it. They go the extra mile. I just went back to them for new summer tires, oil change, and brake inspection and would rather give them the business. Good guys, good service, good pricing.

I typically do not provide reviews; however, it made my day to find Andy's Auto Centre. The service and care was exceptional. I have been avoiding finding an auto mechanic since moving to Guelph in 2015, but it was finally time after four years. I didn't think I could find a mechanic that was as honest and trustworthy as the one I had been going to in Toronto for over 10 years. The google review comments for Andy's Auto Centre speak for themselves. From the moment I called to book an appointment, Steve was so friendly and it was apparent to me they are dedicated to serving their customers. I brought my car in, Dave (head mechanic) took a ride with me and determined it was a minor issue and it was safe to drive. They repaired my car the next day. I got a ride to and from work in Guelph and the driver was so friendly. Observing their interactions with other customers was evidence of their dedication and service. The team at Andy's Auto Centre is so appreciative of their customers. I cannot recommend Andy's Auto Centre enough.

Absolutely awful! Bought a car that they safetied with brakes that were about to fall out, bad ball joints, rusted out rims and dead tires, warped rotors. Apparently it was safe! What a joke! Costed me $2000 so far to get it up to par. Plus it needs more work. Putting me on the highway with a tiny one in tow, is severely irresponsible! Also, when I took it back for things they messed up (tire backwards on the rim), got nothing but attitude from Steve. My steering was messed due to the ball joints and they told me to put a bag of salt in the trunk. (Front wheel drive...really?) Won't go back there again! Just brutal!!

My sister was from out of town apartment hunting in Guelph one day when she felt her breaks were acting up. She had her 5 month old son with her and had something go very wrong with a previous cars breaks and was concerned. She called around and no one else would take her for at least 2 hours. Andy's took her immediately even though they were also busy. They took her car for a drive, lifted it up and even checked it thoroughly. They came to the conclusion that nothing was actually wrong with her car, they explained why it operated the way it was and what the noises were she was hearing. They didn't make her feel silly or dumb for not knowing and when she asked how much she owed them, they said nothing! Just asked for a good review, so here it is! She will be giving them her business again and I will recommend them to everyone (I don't drive).

Did not overcharge, and made sure I was comfortable with repairs that needs to be done, and listened to what I had to say. Happy to have found a reputable shop here in Guelph!

Got there on my apartment time with my F-150. I it had clunking problem. Took them little over 1 hr and they found out what is causing the problem. Before that I was at few shops and no one could figure it out but these guys did. On the end I expected a charge of at least 1hr and the owner said not to worry its free. I insisted but owner said have a nice day. I appreciate the honesty because there is not many honest people. Andy's thank you very much.

Andy's Auto Centre is the only place I go to get my Toyota Corolla repaired. All the workers I have met are really friendly and approachable. They always go above and beyond to serve the customer. They have saved me thousands compared to the dealership and they make sure I am aware of what is wrong with the vehicle and are straightforward with associated costs. I am very disappointed with the service I received at Andy's. In the past, I had some rad work done and thought I'd bring the guys more work because they seemed honest. I think perhaps as the old name states - "Andy's Radiator Service", this is what they should have stuck with. If they can't do a job, tell the customer! I had to bring my car back 5 times! They caused more damage, made me pay for parts I didn't need and made me come back again and again..so inconvenient. They promised - the computer doesn't lie and it would be fixed. What really bothers me is they just handed me the keys each time, knowing it wasn't fixed and that they had caused the problem. I finally refused to pay for any more parts and again they told me it was fixed, only for me to pick it up and see that it was not. After the 5th visit and still not repaired, I decided to cut my losses. I am angry every time I get into my $1100.00 "repair" and know it is not fixed. I will never again go to Andy's, nor will I recommend them.
