Best service! I book online the night before to pick up the next morning.. car was ready and clean the next morning with fuel ready to go.. I drove 1500 km/3days. and they charge exactly the amount I thought.. everyone has diff experience but definitely renting again here.. thanks!!

Pretty sad when you make reservations with National Car Rental two months prior and you show up the day of and they say they can't honor that reservation and leave you stranded. Even with an email confirmation the previous day. You look out in the parking lot and its full of cars!! Unacceptable and uncalled for. Customer service did not help whatsoever and claimed they couldnt do anything since there wasnt a manager in until Monday.

Came here after an insurance claim on my truck. Spoke with john on the phone prior, was very condescending and ignorant. Ended up getting a rental elsewhere. Would not reccomend.

Rented thru Expedia, one way trip to Edmonton was advertised for $90-$100 for an economy car. Got to the counter 1. They had no cars only mini vans(which they couldn’t rent me for the price of a economy car apparently) 2. Advertisement for a $90-100 rental one way had a (not advertised) return cost of $1 per km (Edmonton is 460km away) and wasn’t made clear if I was paying for both ways. 3. Cost to keep the mini van (not economy car) for the duration of my vacation (5 days) would cost more than my flights. 4. Cause I would have a mini van not a economy car mileage was set at 130km (Edmonton and back is 920). Long story short a big thanks to Donna from enterprise for setting me up with a car last min for 406.00 for 5 days with unlimited mileage.

Very poor performance. Only 33 seconds of water per dollar, machine says double time for a Towne and only gave 55 seconds. System continued to dispense soap while on rinse setting so I was unable to get my vehicle clean. I will have to visit another car wash to finish the job. I would not recommend this car wash to my friends.

Rented a car from the Fort Nelson location April 22. Returned the car April 25th at the Prince George location. 2 days later was emailed a copy of the invoice with a $1000 drop fee added. Neither the rental location or drop location indicated a possible drop fee. Nor was there mention of a drop fee on the rental contract. The rental location is not answering phone calls or emails. National car rental head office is washing their hands of this issue due to Fort Nelson being a privately owned location. Recommend staying away from National Car rental all together. Take the bus. Was contacted by rental outlet threw Google maps indicating that they would look into the charges and that's where communication ended. As mentioned, think twice about renting from National Car rental/ Mel's U Drive. Now 3 weeks later the rental agency finally returned a call to my wife. They're still unwilling to make this situation correct. Contacted National Car Rental head office with my rental agreement number which they indicated was from 2003 not April 22,2019. Head office also mentioned that they don't have an outlet in Fort Nelson. Mel's U-Drive in Fort Nelson is posing as a National Car rental facility.

8 times out of 10, National has risen above its competitors. Unfortunately this time, it results in a negative review. The one time I misplaced my receipt for a fuel top up, the CSA called me out on it. When I encouraged her to check the mileage and verify it was full, she declined and told me she would charge me a $10 refueling fee. I contested it and stated that I had never been asked before let alone challenged on it as an Emerald Member. I advised the inexperienced agent that if she charged me a bogus fee, I would use their competition the next time I was in the Grand Prairie, Alberta market. She did not care. I sent a follow up email asking for clarification and justification of the $10, and I received no response. I followed up a second time and again no response. Terrible service, and not what I expect from a national partner! Shame! Looks like its Budget next time in Grand Prairie!

Be careful with this guys. This shop is like thief. They force you sign everything in a second, then charge you whatever they want. They request me to leave car in body shop and then charged $130 for filling 40 l of gas. They are like burglar.

Good water temperature and soap. Super cheap and rarely a wait. All in all a great place to wash your vehicle in GP. Only downside is getting a long box truck in can be tight.

Crooks, STAY AWAY!! They called me 2 hours before the pickup time to let me know the " estimated total price" increased from $89.00 to over $600.00. The customer service was as useless as usual you can find in Canada. The supervisor, Geneva, should be awarded an " I hate my job" medal for the customer service skills that she showed over the phone conversation. Probably she's working from home and I disturbed her, she was brushing the cat. Stay away!!

I tell you about my terrible experience with this national car rental office in Grande Praire. I booked a vehicle online for a trip to Calgary. This trip was planned to arrive at the passport office appointment and take a flight that connects with another flight to return home to Spain. I attach a photo from which the confirmation of said reservation emerges. We had to travel an hour and a half with six suitcases and two children to get to the car rental office. One of the children is a newborn baby. As soon as we enter the premises and manage our reservation, we already heard a rude girl with glasses who are inside the office screaming that they are not going to rent us anything. The worker at the counter tells us that he cannot rent anything from us. Faced with this terrible surprise we cannot believe it. We asked them why our reservation was canceled and why they did not notify us. We do not receive any information, only a nefarious treatment that shows that both the girl and the employee are rude. You can already imagine the great upheaval they caused us, we were about to lose more than € 20,000 in flights. I have never encountered such bad and rude professionals. We have put the matter in the hands of a law firm in Vancouver. Hopefully they receive the criminal punishment they deserve.

If I could give a 0/5 I would . They have been nothing but trouble to deal with . It had been about 3 months since renting a car, when they randomly took out a $500 payment with no warning or reasoning. We talked to so many different people who were not helpful at all but finally got reimbursed after about a month of fighting . Just for them to take out the same payment about 3 months after that, Almost 7 months after renting . Again without warning or reasoning !

Nothing special about this place unless you can't use your credit card at the bay to monitor your time and so you have to buy "time" from the office and then this is how you're paying too much for a simple wash!! Not gonna go there again !

A local company issued a PO number on account to them so I could get a truck to use and sent me to get it. However upon arrival a lady came out of the office and said What do you need? I told her about the PO issued for a truck and she said Got a credit card? Not with me I said. She said No credit card no rental. I suggested take a debit security deposit and it was a NO. I said my wife could call in her card number as she was out of town and it was a NO. My wife would have to be there in person AND rent the truck in her name, even though it was a company rental. Since that was not possible I had to leave and make arrangements elsewhere. I informed the company that wanted to rent it that they should look elsewhere for future as the service was less than average plus not even flexible on the deposit payment, especially on an account.

They are not very accommodating and rude to deal with. Would never rent from these people. And their airport location is never staffed and a gong show. Not sure how they are even still in business.

Not overly impressed. Nothing wrong with the rental car but was a bit annoyed during drop off. Stood around while the few staff members were talking close to ten minutes before being helped. I stated I wanted to pay cash then got annoyed when they wanted me to go outside and check km on the car when I’m paying for a service and there was no one else in there that was holding them up with other things. Ended up walking out and I guess just have my card charged? Definitely recommend enterprise. They have an amazing manager with excellent customer service who goes above and beyond!
