Not impressed. Took my car in due to wipers not working. I had a brand new wiper motor to be installed. They had my car in there for a few hours. Which cost us a couple hundred dollars.They proceeded to tell me it wasn’t a simple fix, that I would have to replace the TIPM (total integrated power module) worth $1800. So needless to say I said NO. Took it to another mechanic.... he changed the wiper motor, cleaned the connector switch..... and voila I had working wipers again. This place will never again get my business or referrals

The staff was super helpful and friendly and even was nice enough to give me a ride home while my vehicle was in for inspection. After destroying our engine by filling it with ATF fluid and not engine oil they still made us pay $3000.00 to fix their mistake 3 days before Christmas. Total joke of service and recommend avoiding them unless you want to get stuck with a massive bill due to their negligence. Not impressed.

Way cheaper, saved me from a dealership rip off on my Jeep patriot on two separate times. Repairs with them cost me in total almost $1000 less than the EXACT same thing estimated to be at the dealer. And kept me from being ripped off by finding something that they said at the dealer needed fixing actually didn't need it. Also fixed damage done by Lube city to my differential seal. They are friendly, helpful, and most importantly HONEST!!!! thank you Meineke!

Worst place in town. DO NOT GO HERE. Took my car in for a power steering leak. They called back and named 3 other things “wrong” with my car including my tires. Irreverent, and I had just got my tires checked a week prior. They called back again and said the guy working on it took it for a drive and while he was turning the wheel, another line (other than the power steering) blew. Which cost ME money. I asked the woman at the desk the next day how that could possibly happen and she had nothing to say expect “just coincidence I guess” $701 Completely took advantage of me. I will never recommend this place to anyone, instead I will warn people about this place. I hope people read all of these terrible reviews and they go out of business.

We always take our work to Grant if at all possible. He's a handshake kind of small town mechanic. He'll never overcharge you, never try to convince you something needs fixed/changed if it doesn't and when you walk out with your vehicle you KNOW it's a top notch service or repair. Trust is the word to use with Grant. You could send your mechanically clueless child to him and know you wouldn't have to review the quote or work before or after they were done

They have been Awesome. They are prompt and honest. Which I find rare in this industry. I had a quote from another repair shop listing "immediate work needing to be done". They said it would be unsafe to drive without everything on the quote completed. It was HUGE amount of money! I was recommended to Grant Wert. They did a full inspection for free and re-wrote the "immediate work needing to be done" quote for half of the other shops quote. Making my vehicle more than safe to drive. My vehicle left Grant Werts shop running fabulously. I also went to them a few months later with a rock stuck in between my pads and roters making a horrible noise. They took off the wheel, removed the rock and put things back together at NO CHARGE. I just returned to Grant Werts shop and its 1.5 years later. I need some average brake work and another mild tune up to keep running smoothly. I definitely trust and recommend this shop.

Accutech absolutely destroyed my car making them either negligent/incompetent or the biggest crooks in Grande Prairie. Here is my story, read it and then decide. I took my car into Accutech because it was over heating, during visit number one they told me that the reason that my car was overheating was due to the need for a new radiator cap and a new fan switch. $500 later I was out and my car overheated again. I brought it back in and they told me that I needed a new radiator and a new thermostat which was $800, so now we are up to $1300. The first day having my car back I overheated along the highway and had to have my car towed back – the reason being was that the radiator cap from the first visit didn’t fit the radiator from the second visit. They replaced the radiator as they said it was faulty and I was on my way, my car then overheated again and I bought it back to them. They then took it in and said they did a road test however the Odometer reading the same in-going and outgoing (See photos). I got the car back with them citing no issues and it overheated which I brought it back for the fourth and final time. I requested that they replace the thermostat as I believed that could be the reason that coolant was not circulating in my engine. Grant Wert then called me and said that with “100% certainty” that it was a blown head gasket which would cost me easily another $1000 dollars to fix. What's even worse, in a previous inspection they did a test that said the head gasket was fine (See Photos). So at this point...negligence or crooked? Now riddle me this, how can an over heating issue be a rad cap, radiator, thermostat, fan switch and now a head gasket? Exactly it cannot be all five things. Frustrated and no long willing to trust him I towed it to another mechanic. Upon receiving the car, he said there was a leak seal poured into my coolant and not only that, it was the wrong coolant. For those of you who do not know, a sealant is used to stop a coolant leak in an emergency, not when coolant systems are being replaced. I called Accutech and one of the guys Trevor who works there did verify there was a leak seal poured into my car called “Gunk”. If Accutech wishes to refute this I have the phone calls recorded. Grant then called and refuted the claim and said it was not gunk, it was a tablet, and that it was “standard practice” to do such things when replacing coolant systems. Sorry, that’s bull. The mechanic replaced the thermostat due to sticking shut and I was good for several months. Since then I have had to replace my thermostat 5 times because of the leak seal cycling through my car and causing the thermostat to stick shut at times causing the car to over heat. I have been lucky enough that I have been able to go 6 months at one time without a problem, but eventually the thermostat will stick and fail. For those of you wondering why I did not file a civil suit – simply put I did not want to invest another $100 to file, probably win but never see my money paid back to me. Businesses like this can scam you over and over and with enough leans on the company all they have to do is change the name of their operation and they are free and clear. All I can do is tell the truth and protect others from getting absolutely screwed over like I see others have written. STAY AWAY – and if you are in need, get a second opinion.

Don't even bother getting a quote. Diagnosed my trucks busted hot/ cold air blend door. They looked at it and said it was something else and quoted me 430.00. Ordered the wrong part and had to reschedule with the part I told them was broken, but didn't tell me the quote had changed. Sunk 3 hours into ripping my dash apart and told me it would take 5 more hours. Still didn't tell me a price change. They finished at the very end of the day and had the secretary hand me a 1500.00 bill and make me sign to get my keys back... I told her to have the owner Grant Wert call me the next day. He did and seemed interested with what I had to say and would call me back to straighten it out. He did call the following day, but this time very uninterested to help. He prattled on saying that 120.00 in parts was why my bill was so much more than quoted and didn't seem to care about the staggering 1000.00 extra on my bill. He was arrogant and didn't care at all because I had already paid him. Better off getting work done at a dealership rather than have someone lie to you and charge you just to get your keys back.

I brought my vehicle here to get an oil change, windshield replaced, evap code fixed for second time (they tried telling me it was the evap canister which they replaced the first time but I made them smoke it and only ended up being an o ring), tire rotation and change oil in my diffs and replace differentil locker sensor. They the took it upon themselves (and charge me for it) to do a 40 point inspection then sent me a quote of 3600 dollars but lots of the quote didn't need to be done other than what I had specified and still had a bill of 2200 dollars due to the cv joint needed to be replaced. 4 days after I had to bring my jeep in again because there was something wrong with it again and it ended up that the new CV joint that they replaced 4 days ago which they switched out no cost but the popping sound was still there. They told me it was probably because my sway bar links were bad so we agreed to switch them to diagnose. The popping sound continued and upon further diagnosis they determined it to be my rear differential locker was destroyed because they put the sensor back in wrong (which they owned up to and fixed) during all of this I had to use a rental that cost me $504 until my jeep was fully back together due to waiting on parts and refuse to pay for the cost of rental while having the nerve and stating/assuming that I make lots of money because he is aware of the company I work for. I will never ever bring any vehicles to this shop and would advise against anyone else bringing their vehicles there as well.

They charged me 130$ for a code reading which takes literally a minute to do. Then they go and tell me I need a new turbo and wants to charge me 1900$ for the turbo alone!! I can get two for that price. Basically the owner has the same cx-7 model as mine and I remember him telling me he needed a new turbo as well....ill let you figure out the scam
