So I'm making my way down the 401 heading from Ottawa back to Kingston and I am looking for the cheapest gas I can (everyone knows gas prices are rediculous) so I call pioneer knowing that I always have great service in Brockville and thinking it would be the same in Gananoque, well was I wrong. Withholding the price of gas is just poor business, your losing a potential customer and getting a bad review. Saying to me and I quote "It is against policy to tell any customer the price of gas over the phone". Really!? Look I understand your competing against other gas stations and you could tell me the price and then gas could change before I even get there but if a customer is asking you a simple question don't you think you should answer it? And then telling me your dealing with a customer and your really busy? Why did you pick up the phone in the first place if you were already dealing with a customer.....I'm not the smartest tool on the shed but I wasn't born yesterday.....by the way it is not against the law if you tell me the gas....when it does I'll make sure to have the OPP escort me to your gas station when pigs fly....

There was a promotion of a free coffee if you filled over $30. The coffee was so light it was pretty much just hot water. But it was free, so what can you expect, haha. As for gas prices, it was $1.03 but on the way back south we saw $0.94, so gas prices were a bit high compared to Toronto.

So sorry that I missed the reason for the 5 star rating. Icscrolled too fast ????. You have very polite & helpful staff! I was having difficulty using the pump (I have to use a cane) & one of your employees noticed my "struggle" & came out immediately to assist me. Now, that to me, is customer service. Your store & washroom was extremely clean which is fabulous & very important to me during this COVID situation. You have a great business that I certainly will return to whenever I am in Parry Sound again. ????????????????

The Gas pumps are not as crowded as the nearby competitors. The staff friendly, and their Muskoka Blend Coffee is Easy Peasy as I have yet to encounter a line in their drive thru. Maple muffin is awesome. You can wait 10 minutes at the nearby National Coffee Chain or Fast Food restaurant just to get to the window, or drive right up at the Pioneer station. Please do not share, as I dislike line-ups. As an aside, 1 of their young staff actually came across the road and helped me assist a cottager from the states who lost his lumber load on the side of the road!.

Gas, diesel, and propane. Pay at the pump. Gourmet coffee (Muskoka), snacks and beverages. Ice and air. Free coffee on a fill (as of Sep. 2020), friendly staff, and wheelchair accessible. This is where I choose to gas up in Parry Sound as a local.

They’re saying it’s open 24 hours and it’s NOT!! I’m traveling all the way from Mississauga to Sudbury and I managed my trip to stop at this spot to take a break and fill gas, it’s 4 am and they’re closed and they’ve just ruined my whole trip !
