This is a great pet food store. The inventory is clean and fresh. They have a generous loyalty program for the dog food I buy. The variety of toys and treats is excellent. And their hours are quite long, so if you discover after dinner that you don't have any dog food for the morning, you can run down to Pet Valu for more.

Really impressed. Good sized store and well stocked with lots of selection/variety. We got everything we needed for our new puppy. Everyone was very tolerant of our small kids who were, unfortunately, not on their best behaviour that day. Cashiers are friendly and one helped me carry stuff out to the car. Prices are similar to that of most pet stores. Great service, will return.

Best pet shop in the area! Not only are the staff knowledgeable and friendly, they carry a huge variety of products that you wouldn't see anywhere else! Anything from Reptiles to Spiders and even Aquatic Plants! Not only will they take the time to help you get the most value out of your purchase but they work hard to ensure the success of your animals. This store has been a blessing to Kirkland Lake and area!

The first time I went to this Pet Valu it was largely because it was the closest to my rural home but I continue to go because of the staff. I've never felt so comfortable and welcome when I bring my dog to a pet store. The employees there are always so lovely and helpful! They genuinely seem to care about thier customers: both human and animal! I love taking my dog there to get a new toy and while I'm getting the help I need, my girl gets showered with pets from the generous employees. We both have a wonderful experience every time we go in! Thanks for being awesome Pet Valu!

The Gananoque is a small store in a small town so prices are a little high. The staff is friendly. The groomer charges a very reasonable fee for nail grinding and does a good job.

Staff are wonderful! They know what we need...even if I do not, and are fantastic at helping navigate products revolving around my specific allergy issues. Small town friendly, with big city supplies! Their lovely groomer is amazing with our psychotic Coop who suffered a traumatic session elsewhere. The only good thing about this store is the size. Staff is not knowledgeable at all and sometime very rude. They keep trying to push their home brand of food (PERFORMATRIN) that is over priced and only average food. Much better food out there for that price range. Acana, Orijen. Pets are in small cages "to small for them" without water or food. Not pleased with my visit to this store.
