Pros: Fair pricing, Great staff, welcoming, friendly, small-town type service. I was pleased with my experience from start to finish. Next time I will bump up to the Interior Package to make sure my seats get a good cleaning. The Basic package that we ordered was absolutely worth every penny. Our Car was spotless when we returned to pick it up. Cons: The Business needs more signage, difficult to find where to enter the building/park for services for first time customers. Car smells like typical shop cleaners, "chemically" smelling for a day or 2 afterwards, make sure to take a nice drive with the windows down to air things out and it will be like new! Overall I had to think hard to find Cons and I am thoroughly pleased with the final product. I would definitely recommend the Clean-up Shop @ 60 Ridney street Kingston to anyone.

Amazing job overall. Everyone commented on how different and slicker the car looked inside and out. A couple of minor missed spots: a bit of crumbs left in the cup holder, some Vaseline (that we put beforehand to break down the tar) left on the inside of the back door when opened... The winter mats were sparkly clean but a bit slippery, causing feet slide when getting in and out of the car.. However overall we were very happy with the quality and care. We will definitely go back.

Had a great experience here! I’m glad I followed all the past reviewers. A can of coloured soda exploded in my car, stained the car roof, and this shop got it out for me! The person that helped me today (Rob) listened to my requests patiently, and even offered a discount for the roof. The car looks spotless, and now I’m scared to step in it and ruin it... To find the place, you’d have to go to the end of Rigney street and it will be on your left (one level brown building. Don’t turn into 60 Rigney with the white sign on the driveway, go to the left turn after that.

This place is incredible. I brought my SUV in and there was a mix up with a similar car, so mine wasn't ready when it was supposed to be. The guys called me right away and told me about the mix up and started right away on my car. I had asked for the basic wash and they ended up doing the premium wash at no additional charge. Making an error is one thing, owning it, apologizing and going above and beyond to make it right is what matters. My 2014 VW Toureg looks brand new! Couldn't be more satisfied!

I have been going to The Clean Up Shop for the last 5 years. This letter is LONG overdue! Rob and his staff are the # 1 choice for Automotive Detail Hands Down. My 2005 Silverado looks like new ( I kid you not thanks to the Paint Protection and Sealant that Rob and his staff apply every second year + Rust Check ). My second Vehicle is 2008 Equinox Sport AWD Leather and loaded...Black...so you can see all the fine scratches. The Sealant and Paint Protection that The Clean Up Shop applies is the best. The compounds that the shop use get rid of all small nicks and scratches of daily driving. The vehicles are like glass after the process is complete...and the protectants last for the 2 years as stated. I brought my sisters 2016 SUV Subaru in for the Sealant and Protection. One month after it was purchased it went straight to Rob for his expertise. It is now protected 100 % and it has been Rust Check, of course. My sister, the Teacher, was so Happy and Impressed with all the shine it has after the application of the Paint Sealant ( better than Factory as she said ) In closing, give The Clean Up Shop the opportunity to detail your Vehicle. You need to read this very carefully!!!! I brought my vehicle to this shop a few times. My vehicle would come out like it came out of a dealership. It was amazing.....a bit expensive but extremely clean vehicle. HOWEVER........stay with me! The last time I brought my vehicle there was just before the Covid-19 lockdown.....you know when everything was shot down and no one moved by fear of being infected and, for a while, because there was a stay at home order? And this lasted forever. When I left with my vehicle, I noticed that my wiper sensor no longer functionned properly and that it appeared to have been moved during the cleaning. I didn't think much of it at the time until I realized it wasn't working properly. I've dealt with the Lexus dealership and this business on this issue. See Lexus of Kingston for my review about their poor service. This business refused to be accountable and assume their responsibility with regards to my damaged sensor, stating too much time has gone by before I brought this to their attention. HELLO......First of all, we couldn't go anywhere because of a stay at home order for the longest time. Businesses were closed for the longest time. And I explained to them that I also went to NB for personal reasons for 4 months. None of that mattered. At this same location, they have car auctions. Lord only knows what really happened to my sensor. Finally, this is not at all where anyone should bring their vehicles to get detailed. I was satisfied too until it came time for this business to take their responsibility. Customer Service seems to be a luxury nowadays, and this business is just another example of it. My sensor was damaged their and by them, yet they wash their hands of it. Go elsewhere......you were warned! I couldn't make this up!
