Had an 8am appointment on July 31st for my spouse's car, unfortunately we were 11 minutes late during our commute from St. Catherines to Fort Erie Krown Rust Control due to unforeseen circumstances and pulled in at 8:11am. Upon arrival my spouse went inside to check in and apologize to the gentleman working behind the counter for running a few minutes late.
He refused to let her explain and simply stated "No sorry I gave it away at 8:05am because you were not here". He was very rude in his tone and demeanor with her. I understand they are running a business and need to make money, but I was shocked to hear this when she walked back out of the door extremely upset. To make matters worse when we drove away I pulled around the backside of the shop and noticed the bay where they spray and treat vehicles was empty. I understand it MIGHT take an hour to spray a truck but this little car takes no longer then 40 mins MAX to treat/spray so it would not impede on their 9am appointment.
If the man behind the counter would have acted in a professional manner then he would have found out that we were running a few minutes behind due to the fact that my spouse is a type 1 diabetic and we had to treat a hypoglycemic episode this morning (treat a low blood sugar).
Overall we are extremely unimpressed with the lack of professionalism from this establishment. We will not be recommending Fort Erie Krown in the future.
**UPDATE TO OWNER**
If you take the time to look back through your book (the paper copy sitting at your front desk which I personally watched the older gentlemen who was extremely rude to my wife that works at your service counter schedule us in at my previous visit when I brought my truck in earlier this summer) and look back to the date and time which I previously mentioned earlier in the review you would have noticed at this exact time and date you would either have an appointment booked for either Ryan or Emily, for a 2013 Malibu.... THIS was the appointment I'm referring to in this review at the Krown service center on garrison road in Fort Erie. (Yes my last name in my google reviews is spelt differently)
If your service advisor did not wish to listen to us regarding our concerns for cancelling our appointment for being a few minutes late due to my spouse having a hypoglycemic episode (low blood sugar which could have put her into the hospital if it was not treated right way) at that time and date, then why would he (I would assume he is the one who answers the calls at the service desk) care or want to listen to our concerns now? Cheers.
