AVOID IF YOU CAN! Really crappy service and a lot of staff with attitude, this place lacks a serious level of professionalism. While I was in the store with my 9 year old daughter an employee behind the service desk slammed the telephone down on a customer who had called and started cursing in front of us and other customers. I don't need to expose my children to a business like this.

Good supplier with knowledgable staff and the ability to source out / order a wide variety of parts. All products are marked on a sliding scale so make sure you have a business account with them or you will end up paying a ridiculous markup for parts.

Totally agree about the good service. The front counter folks are friendly and fast through the checkout. Overall they have a great selection of good quality automotive stuff. If you need expert knowledge the parts counter at the back is the place to go. Not many stores offer this kind of help. If you are complaining about their service, then look in the mirror.

I really don't understand the number of negative reviews against this location. I am a retired mechanic who owned a business in this city for years and now play in my garage and help out my friends and car enthusiasts or the Comox Valley Cruisers. The counter staff here go out of their way to try and help customers, many of whom do not know jack about cars or RVs. I have helped many figure out what is was that they really needed and the staff have always taken the time to find a way to help them. Comparing prices to Amazon is an ongoing issue but I am happy with what I pay and the service that I receive. Well done Ladies and Gentlemen.

I like the poeple there, i get a decent price on morst thing, thought depending on the part, *I Away's price compare JSYK* Napa at times is half the price so if i can i go to napa, sorry guy's, but if i can save 200+ $ i'm going too, most day's though i grab my stuff from Lordco, Mostly for things that are similar or same price, it was a closer walk from my home and more convenient for a number of years. I personally havn't had too much an issue there, but i hear very often that the wrong parts were ordered.. well i think that in part, you the customers fault and should know the part to order for it to be correct. LOL Update: to the reply, I do have an account i use and the discount is as far as i am aware anyway, the highest possible for a customer. Even with that though, *at times, for certain specific things*, other places do, do better for pricing. But, that being said, my majority sales are though you guy's mostly out of convenience. I get it though, it's hard to compete with things like oil and cleaners, little parts and such. but for the big ticket items you always gotta price compare at a few places.. sometime you find a limited time sale somewhere else is in to offense to other companies or competition by the customer. It's just a fact that we all are looking to save a buck here or there, and vehicles are expensive to maintain. Hope this review doesn't detour any sales, I don't think your company is bad, nor do i want people to think they shouldn't go there because of my review. I've only stated from my own many years of services from you guy's, *at different locations across BC*, that prices are Not always better like some sales personal state, and that I've yet to have much of a problem getting what I need, Most of the time. That is all :)

Terrible service, went there to get a high vis shirt and waited 5 miners while the only cashier was busy on the phone. Never even acknowledged us and only called for help when 2 more people were in line. Help never came so I left and don't plan on coming back!!!!!! Canyon cable is just up the road and has everything you'll need plus more!!!!

I just did a price comparison on a part I need between Lordco and a couple other local auto parts stores and Lordco was the highest price. So.... do your homework and you'll get a better deal elsewhere. For a large chain... their pricing is ridiculous.

Tremendous Service! Every individual behind the parts counter was extremely helpful. I had a boat trailer axle bearing failure on the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt of course on a long weekend heading home. I had very little experience with these types of bearing assemblies for trailers. The guys utilized the pictures and the blown parts i had to help cross reference exactly what i needed. They took the time to explain the assemblies with me and gave me great value for the pricing of the parts! Sincerely appreciate it! Would highly recommend. Wish we had Lordco's in Alberta to say the least!

I too am confused about the number of negative reviews this store gets. I come to this store a lot and haven't really had a bad experience. In fact, in my quests for obscure car parts, they often go beyond what one would expect to try and accommodate my needs. Just don't try to get the 12V battery out of a 2014 Ford Fusion Energi. It's in their system but it's the wrong one.

Lordco rules. The service staff seem to be masters of accommodating the vernacular of each customer. They were quiet and polite to the gentleman in front of me, but immediately matched my salty trucker-peak when it was my turn. They bend over backwards to help, and foster an environment of good humor.

On Saturday of June 18th around 4pm, my brother-in-law blew a radiator hose between Courtenay and Comox. We took the hose off of the 1990 Nissan and took it to our local Lordco. My brother-in-law humbly asked the parts guy if he could purchase a replacement. The counter guy asked for the part number. My brother-in-law replied that he did not have a number and the immediate response was that he needed to go somewhere else because that attendant did not have the time to go find the part. He excused himself because the phone was ringing and their might be a lineup in waiting. There was no eye contact that I could see during this exchange. We waited in line again to ask another attendant where she would suggest to go for help and she graciously offered to help and within ten minutes had the part and a smile. My question to Lordco is that lone male in the store the face of the company? He is not someone that I would want working in my business especially when a customer comes in with an emergency.

Always has the parts I'm looking for at a good price. BUT staff is generally a bit on the snobby side (probably not everyone, I've only dealt with a handful of them). Always giving me attitude if I don't know an exact part number etc. Pretty sure that's part of your job guys, that's why you have that computer to look things up right? ???? Generally not a pleasant buying experience for me. Will be using Napa from now on anytime I can.

Well stocked, and they get stuff in fast if you need it. I hate shopping here because most of the things aren’t priced, it’s like a big secret how much a litre of oil costs. On top of that, there are all sorts of discounts if you work for a company with an account, or the city or whatever. So I always feel that as a regular punter I’m just paying more to make it cheaper for the “in club” At least at Canadian tire, you just pay what the price says, and it’s fair for everyone

No customer service if you're not a regular customer or a mechanic, higher prices as well if you take time to compare. Have gotten parts here intermittenly throughout the years only due to them being open Sundays, provided with wrong axles twice and most recently tried ordering a washer which I was told only came in a box of five and would have cost 75$ due to it not being a regularly stocked item. I suggest Hartmans or Napa. Earl in particular has poor customer service several times I've been in there.
