If you want a garage that you can feel confident that you are being treated fairly and honestly, Greig and guys is the place to go. With a brake job, oil change and a leak on the roof of my truck, I expected to get a substantial bill. I was more than pleasantly surprised and the effort they put in to getting the job done, especially with the leak, was amazing. At first they thought it was the bad install I had on my windshield which they called a glass company to check it out. I had the company reinstall the window and the next morning the leak was still there. They said bring it in right away which I did. And after about an hour, they found the source which was the satellite antennae. They sealed it up for me and sent me on my way. And didn't charge me for the second visit. Greig and the boys went above and beyond my expectations. Thanks guys.

Great service all around. Price estimates before servicing were very accurate to the cost afterward, and I received calls throughout the day to update me on the progress of repairs. Brought the car in for some fluids to be flushed and brake pads to be changed. It turned out the brake pads were still healthy and not the problem, they were just out of alignment which they called to let me know after fixing it. They also discovered that I needed a new starter which I actually forgot to mention and was very grateful they called to let me know, and we had that fixed too. Overall very happy with the service I received and really liked the updates throughout the day :) The car now runs better than it did when I bought it

I used to trust Dry Auto and Greig Dry for my mechanical work. However I can no longer support this company for many reasons. First off, they were replacing my front brakes (along with a drive shaft and wheel bearings), I had both sets of brake pads in my truck door, easily accessible. I told them this 3 times, they called me saying they couldn't find the front brake pads so they were charging me for new ones ($120). I tried showing them where and how easy the pads were to find, but they refused to even look, complaining that "You have a saw in the back of your truck so I couldn't find them nor wanted to look through". This is BS for 2 reasons, 1, they grabbed the 1 set of brake pads saying they were the wrong ones, well the boxes were literally touching each other side by side, 2, they were in the door cubby so there was no searching involved. I went back to try and get a refund for the $120 pads they charged me for unnecessarily and Greig refused with the excuses above. I had to go back a SECOND TIME and argue with Greig again saying I shouldn't have to pay for their lazy mistake. Greig finally said "I can only give you what I would pay for them and you have to give me the front brake pads you have in return", well Dry Auto only pays $50 for the brake pads but charged 120, so I am still out 70 dollars that they profited from off of the products from Bumper To Bumper...this I find completely unacceptable. I caved and accepted because its a week before christmas and my wife's birthday, so I didnt have time to keep arguing with this. Please DONT go to Greig Dry at Dry Automotive. They will charge over 100x more than they pay just for the parts...not to mention they will not live up to their own mistakes. They also put a hole in my rear tire while in the shop, and they were going to charge me to fix that too, when its their fault again. Lastly, when I asked for a refund Greig said "I never want to see you or your truck again". I was never rude about this nor aggressive, and yet this was his response....clearly very uneasy with people speaking the truth to them about their work, and are petty enough to tell me to never to come back because of THEIR MISTAKE. Ignore this place when you need work done, go to Wade's Auto right near by for far more reliable and honest service and work. Pass this along to people you know too, this is unacceptable and I don't want other people getting screwed over too. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, TERRIBLE ATTITUDE, TERRIBLE BUSINESS ACUMEN Ps. In response to your comment below Greig. My "old truck full of tools" (08 f150 and she is a beautiful truck thanks) had nothing to do with finding the brake pads as they were in the door precisely where you grabbed the other ones from. I agreed over the phone because you said there were only rear brake pads back there and I figured at the time I must have mis-remembered thinking I could put my trust in your shop. Big mistake... As for being sorry, you clearly arent as you had to post this petty response and did the absolute minimum you could do to make it right, which really wasnt even enough. The "old pads" were brand new in their sealed wrap as you would know seeing as you pulled them out of the box infront of me. The only thing old about them was they were given to me a year ago knowing I would need new pads soon, hence why I took your word on them not being there. There was literally no searching involved but still you couldnt be bothered. You offered to fix my tire for free, which would cost you maybe $10. Then when I said I thought you should make it right by refunding me the unnecessary cost of the pads, you said to never come back to your shop...so I figure that was off the table. Lastly how I spoke to you infront of your other customer was blunt but never rude, incorrect, or aggressive. So if you can't handle being told you made a mistake infront of your customer, then maybe you shouldn't be running a shop. Your response below only shows your arrogance and pettiness as I explained this all yesterday, and you heard none of it. So here it is in writing.

Greig saved our holiday! On our way to Quadra Island, we had front end issues with our vehicle. At 3pm, we contacted Greig and he got us in right away. He figured out the issue, repaired it, and we were back on the road by 4pm. Great work, Greig. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend this shop and Grieg to anyone. If I was local to Courtney, Greig would be my regular mechanic for sure. His prices were fair, and he is an honest individual.

Exceptional quality and service. We had called in to get our car checked out because we heard a rattling noise during our trip on the island. Our mechanic Greig carried out a thorough inspection to determine if our car would be safe to continue driving. He provided an unbiased diagnostic review and made sure we understood the issues he found in our vehicle. His service is amazing and I wish he could be my regular mechanic. Doug at the front desk was equally as professional and friendly and you will not go wrong taking your vehicle to this shop.

Car went in got work done, they phone me once and said it would cost alittle more than the quote, around 2000$ It would cost, that was ok, got some one from my family to go pick it up, and it was 3000$ and they lied, told my family member they were in constant talks with me bout the extra stuff it needed, I never got one phone call from anyone there. It runs good, that’s why I gave them 2 stars, but I don’t think I’ll go back there.

I am so happy I found Dry Auto! I called the shop explaining that I had a break light thats on and John advised me to pop by for one of his staff to check the fluid level. Right there on the spot they filled it up for free. I booked myself in for an oil change and car inspection the following week and was quoted a price. After the service, I noticed a different price was being charged because we didn't realize that my vehicle takes synthetic oil. No problem, John honored the original price! Thank you for your integrity in what you do. Not only that, he walked me through the future services that I will need, gave me quotes and let me know time frames for me to concider the service, with no pressure. Thank you for all that you do! You have yourself a return customer.

Outstanding - showed up and within 15 mins I was on my way after a minor fix. They didn't even charge me because it was so minor, but this just went to show how friendly and professional they are. These guys understand how to do it right. A+
