As a gardener my car is constantly filthy and these guys clean it so well and fast. Love the little shop too where you wait in, i always end up buying something. The washes are cheap and thorough, and the staff is friendly. Always recommended.

Overall still good. I use to come here since the mid 80's, moved to the states, then back in and out. Since I've been around now I decided to try Steve's out, I had my car detailed 3 weeks prior, so I knew the car was in clean shape but in need of a touch up inside, and get some of the winter salt off from a wet highway drive. On this visit Friday evening I decided let's give Steve's a try and I'd be in good shape. Outside/In wash with attention to the wheels & tires, lets see how they do? Remember the car was detailed 3 weeks ago so must be easy. When I was informed my vehicle was done, I did a quick outside tour and noticed a few window smudges, that was odd, I thought they would have polished that off, it threw me off, and I had driven away to do a few shopping stops when I noticed, hum only 1 wheel looked far cleaner then the other 3. The next morning in the daylight I noticed the drivers floor mat wasn't cleaned right and still salty (better but I got to get it done again), the rear outside back of the vehicle had not been cleaned off, it had the salt residue and looked just so sad, I blew a gasket. I had to pass a damp cloth on the dash, Navigation and media panel, I noticed more and more and wondered what the heck happened? I recall taking a peek from the waiting room while they were cleaning and everyone looked active. I was thinking maybe last night they were paying more attention to the SUV in front of me, there was some socializing with a younger chap who stuck around after, were they distracted? This is not the Steve's craft work of once ago. Nope... something was not right with one of the team members cleaning the vehicle? I can remember a few spots on the dash before Steve's and it took me just a simple pass of a damp cloth to take a smudge or spot off the next day, what gives? If I have to get some window cleaner to still take smudge marks off, why was it left there? Maybe on the next run, maybe better. Maybe a different crew. Don't know what happened but expect someone was in training, distracted or it was the end of the day.

They give a good rinse and vacuum. Unfortunately they do not pay attention to details; floor mats come out dirty, still some bugs on the front grill and the windchill, the inside of the doors are untouched. I even pay the extra for the trunk but they did not do the contour of the hatch! There's better and there's equal for half the price.

Fraud from as soon as u walk in Employees has no idea about pricing as they refer u in the office to pay. By that time u know prices they have already started washing ur car Price chart outside very complicated and loaded with different catagories of car so even u have a small suv, by the time u get to office they will tell u its a big suv. To the owner. There is no respectful way to communicate other than to leave these comments and heads up to other people if u r teaching your employees to be fraudulent and cons. Change the way u work and have the prices list more clear and explain to clients their options and prices

Today June 6th, as they pulled my truck out of the wash, I noticed the entire back panel of the truck scratched. In all the crevices, up and down marks, across the top totally how you would try and wash all the places. Obviously someone had some type of problem with the clove or clothe they were using. I was super calm even though I was clearly upset. The staff got the owner and he completely blew me off. I kept asking him to please go check the glove of the guy in the. Ask who would have done the trunk and he would not he started to get aggressive and told me to leave and go see my dealership. I drove in with NO scratches I drive out with my backside completely a mess and he would not even consider looking into what jut happened and I had to leave. I can’t believe that the owner could behave like that. Who treat someone like that after ruining their truck. I don’t have one scratch anywhere else’s. But multiple where one of the guys washed it. Now I don’t know what to do? Do I go to insurance? Do I call the police? I’m in shock.

First time getting my suv washed, for 36$ was disappointing. Had to show them spots that they missed on the outside, and then after driving out still found some more spots they didn’t wash. Their dirty dry cloth didn’t sponge out all the water so dirty water splashed on the sides of my car. Asked to get the inside vacuumed and armour all, including the trunk. They didn’t even touch the trunk. And found some spots that were not cleaned inside as well. Yes it was speedy and friendly staff but come on, this is their job and they do it all day, I should not have to show them missed spots. I was expecting much better service, considering this place was recommended. Will not go again.

Just had my van cleaned inside and out today for the first time at Steve's and it looks fantastic. The guys are all so friendly and efficient! I don't live in MTL anymore, but I come back 4 times a year and I plan to hit Steve's every time from now on. The receptionist was very friendly and a bonus was the dollar they took off for 'ladies day'! Can't beat that! Even though there were 6 cars ahead of me, I was surprised how quickly it went. Would recommend highly!!

#1 Hand car wash in Montreal. Been coming here forever, fair prices compared to out of provinces washes. Great friendly staff, superior quality work. Had detailing done came out like a new car. Expect what you pay for dont expect miracles if you come in with a heap of neglect. Great job on salt satin removal!

I did not have a good experience. They do very basic cleaning in and out. They do not even vacuum or wash under your floor mats. They do not get rid of garbage. Dust is found all over the car. Over hyped. Nothing compared to the advertising they push in their website. Worst part is that they have 8-9 ppl working on your car with poor results.

Its Steve's. A West Island landmark. I had one of my first jobs there cleaning cars 25 years ago. If I want my car clean, inside & out with a nice gleam of wax this is where I go. I think this is where everyone goes. Look, it's a bit pricey but the value vs $ is excellent. I'll admit some days the wait time is crazy. It could easily take 30 min + just to get into the wash bay. Normally I'd only give 4 stars, but its Steve's. They do an awesome job and its worth the wait. Anyone else would lose a star. My recommendation is to give them a call first, see how many cars are waiting and make a determination. Full 5 stars for these guys.

I was supposed to get a complete car wash and specifically pointed to a dirty area on my rear cup holders. They said no problem for my Hyundai Sonata. Other than being friendly and taking an undeserved tip, the car wash was very weak. My under mats are still dirty, I had to clean my own car after a car wash, which, is disgraceful. I wasted $40 (tip included) and I'm not coming back. I would have given zero stars but google doesn't allow that rating. Good day.

The price forces u to buy the interior/exterior clean seeing as its $3 difference. However, their definition of cleaning the interior are windows and half the dashboard. I told them it's dirty due to my dog and there's still dried up drool and hair everywhere. Last time I go there.

Went for a car wash inside out with wax and armor all. After washing inside of the car still dirty did not even removed the mats doors were full of dust center console still dirty. Looks like they never vacuumed and they did not even put armor all on the vehicle. Paid 35.00 for me was a very poor job will not go back.

Great service. Two downsides were the windows - many streaks especially the windshield, and applying Armor All on wet tires so it barely stayed on which is unfortunate especially when paying extra for it. I would definitely go back but would inform them of the CONS I just mentioned.

I took my brand new 2018 Jeep here a week after getting it so that the inside could be cleaned, however i got in and out. unfortunately when leaving i noticed some scratch marks that were not there beforehand - i think it might depend on who is working. The other times i went there with my older car it was perfect. I am considering taking this car back in for a hand wax, but am a bit hesitant because of what happened and want to make sure the car is treated with attention to detail. Other than that, they are pleasant and do a good job cleaning the inside of the car :)

They do clean the outside but the inside is always badly done, the center console is black and I can see the water stains that they leave behind. The back seats and mats are barely touched and the front ones are always completely wet and have to complain to get it dried properly. Go if you are in a rush but don't expect much

A couple of days ago I went to eat with a friend of mine and some random teenagers ran to my car and bear maced me and my friend , they sprayed my entire car as well and ran off. I called Steve’s car wash to have them clean it for me, they found an appointment for me right away , Steve was very empathetic towards the situation and the guys there did an amazingggg job cleaning my car, it looks brand new! I paid extra to get my trunk washed...(it wasn’t much more money, but still, I wanted it done) but it looked exactly the same as it did before going here. The cup holders were not vacuumed, which was honestly my main concern. They left visible dirt marks pretty much everywhere, which was surprising for the amount of time they spent with it. Bruh went there for a Turo, cost me about 24$ the car is pristine, with "Armor All" on wheels and everything. The Turo owner was super happy and I made a friend. Honestly if you rent cars often, just go there to wash it, they take care of you, it's very fast, you sit on a sofa or outside and text on your phone for a couple minutes. The car comes out flawless at the other end and its not that expensive either compared to what you would do yourself. Maybe 6--7$ more let's say than doing it yourself. But you get interior cleaned, "Armor All", you don't have to do the job. Bruh honestly it's worth every bucks

Pros: Short lineups (*caveat, I wonder why) Cons: Super expensive. But what really blows, is the quality of work is poor. If you are paying for an inside and out, plus trunk... Why would they forget the trunk completely and miss so many spots inside. 38$ to wash a large SUV!?!? Really? And the waiting area is riddled with trinkets and knock off items you would find at a flea market. Like I want to wash my car and so for souvenirs lmao. Purgatory. It's just a little too weird for me.

NOT RECOMMENDED} I had my new pick up rust proofed by Kwon in Vaudreuil and went to Steve’s car wash to remove the over spray. Keep in mind this is a brand-new truck that was already very clean except for the over spray of Kwon rustproofing. They basically washed the upper half which was already very clean but neglected the bottom half of the truck which is why I went there in the first place. The wheel and running board were dirty as well as the entire bottom half of the entire truck not to mention the front of the truck. Around the bottom of the doors were not clean as well. They charged me $42 (!!!) for a wash that I could get better result at an automatic car wash. I called to request what are they going to do about it and got the run-a-round not once but twice. I asked for my money back. Supervisor on the phone claimed that the rust proofing was difficult to remove. This couldn’t be any further from the truth. Hence, I ended up washing the truck myself – took me 45 minutes to clean the bottom half of the pick-up from the window to running boards. To make the matter worse, I have a mobility disability. I strongly do NOT recommend Steve’s car wash unless you don’t mind throwing your hard-earned money away. NOT RECOMMENDED. UPDATE: Response to Steve. First of all, I did complain immediately after truck was washed. When I got home I noticed it was still very dirty on the bottom half as if the washer were too lazy to bend down. The residue left over from the Kwon rustproofing comes off quite easily so there's absolutely no excuses. Please stop making excuses. FYI, I called as soon as I got home and got the run-a-round. You keep mentioning 35 years in business which has nothing to do with the poor service I received.

They had always done a good job and decided to come back for a full detailing even though I live a distance away. They have a nice waiting area, clean washroom facilities and a very friendly staff. They got some on the breaks so stopping was terrifying for a day or two and when I got my car on a lift not long after to change the tires I could see that they did not take off any of the plastic undertray to spray under it. We just got back from Steve's Car Wash for our annual Krown rustproofing. We were sent a reminder notice 2 weeks ago. (We used Steve's Car Wash for the 1st time last year, though we've been rustproofing our car from its purchase date). We booked an appointment; received a reminder telephone call on Saturday for our scheduled appointment. The team at Steve's are wonderful: from Matt (who was in charge of the rustproofing), to the wonderful car wash team and the lovely young girl behind the desk. I'm so glad they have survived this pandemic. The "joint was jumping" this afternoon. The team clearly takes pride in their work, they work hand in hand, are efficient and courteous. One observation: the bigger and more expensive the vehicle, the tighter the wallet for a tip for these hard workers. We must have seen at least 25 mega huge luxury vehicles (likely more) in for a wash. While we were waiting we saw 3 people tip these young guys. Shame on those cheapskates. Perhaps they included a tip when they paid at the counter for having a wash/wax, interiour cleaning. (I doubt it). If that's the case, fine...if they didn't tip, WAKE UP you selfish people. Had my car washed here for first time during 3rd wave of a pandemic so service was pretty basic but the car hasn't looked that good in a long time. More expensive than where I've been going but absolutely no comparison in quality and service. Last time at previous place they wouldn't let me back in my car without tipping them. What's the point when I have to clean the back seat myself. Food crumbs, milk stains and corners were not done properly. Also paid extra for armour oil for tires, you hardly can notice any difference. Also there are some pretty easily noticeable spots which were not cleaned outside. No big difference compared to other washes around when you are paying extra.

My car was filthy and in dire need of a wash, so I went to Steve's. The place seemed popular, with a line of cars waiting and more filling in as the line moved forward. Service is good, the employees are nice and the waiting area is much better than anticipated. Prices are competitive; $20 for exterior/interior wash for regular sized cars isn't bad at all, but don't expect your car to come out looking like new. They missed several spots on my car, which I could clearly see from the waiting area. They also appear to have used dirty towels, as my car has some very visible, new swirl marks over the passenger side rear fender. I paid $5 more for wax, but see no evidence it was applied. If you want a cleaner car for a competitive price, a nice waiting area, and good service, this is the place for you. If you want your car spotless and shiny, pay extra and go to a professional car care business or do it yourself.

Not that great... Was better before. Staff is friendly but they did a bad job with aquapel. They had not dried the windshield well and applied it over a streak mark which should have been wiped beforehand. Now that streak is always visible. I am not going there again. Disappointed.
