I thought long and hard about whether I was going to write a review for the auto detailing job I had done here last weekend.
To preface: I really wanted to like Nic's work. I tried really hard to see all the high points of the detail job. But, after sitting in my car and driving places all week I finally had to come to an honest conclusion that the detail job was poorly done.
My car was at the shop for 8 hours, with a spoken deal of an interior detail including a steam cleaning and shampoo. When I returned to pick up my vehicle everything looked okay at first glance (mind you it was 6pm). But upon returning home I realized that one of my back-up sensors had been pushed back into my bumper. I have no proof it was the detailer's fault, but the sensor was not broken prior to my detail job and it was immediately not working properly upon picking up my vehicle. The detail job itself was hit and miss. The detailer did an awesome job at getting the stains out of the carpet and floor mats, a job which I really appreciated. But the cleaning seemed to stop there. There were many spots in the cup holders, down the sides of the seats and on the side door panels that were clearly missed or simply just wiped over. Definitely not deeply cleaned as we had discussed. Most of the dog hair was removed from the back but not as much as I would have hoped. I feel that for the price I paid I should have had a more deeply detailed vehicle.
All in all, I was very disappointed. I understand that being a new business allows room for grace, and I hope that with time this detail shop can do better and become a place people feel confident taking their vehicles to. Unfortunately, my experience was not lovely, and I hope that others do not also have to experience things the way I unfortunately did.
