They should put a visible timer for drivers to see how much time they pay for. I find it the 2nd or 3rd coins you put in takes less time than 1st one. $2 for 1 minute, 2nd $2 for 45 seconds...

Used to be great! But they have cheaper or on the detergents, and especially the wax product. Now it's no better than any other generic, run of the mill car wash. Disappointing.

Love this car wash. It’s open 24/7, rarely has much of a lineup, and the equipment is well maintained. I just wish they still offered a deal from the token machine. You used to get a couple extra tokens when you bought $20 worth, now it’s just 20 tokens for $20

Pre-soak is a waste of money! All other car wash pre soaks you can see the dirt run down the car with the bubbles. Not this one! The pre soak did absolutely nothing, very disappointing. Too bad as this car wash is the closest to my house, i will take my business elsewhere

It's fine. Not a whole lot of bays. If you want to use your credit card you have to get these tokens. I know of other car washes that just use a start/stop system which works better in my opinion.

the car wash is great once you get in there but the layout is not equipped for busy days. only a certain number of cars(~5) can line up before you're pushed out onto elbow drive, if you come in from the other entrance you have to sqeeuze your way in and then begins another line up where you're blocking the entrance

I didn't come to wash my vehicle (I never do), but stopped for the pita wraps. The first thing that caught my eye was all the marijuana paraphernalia for sale. A small surge of apprehension followed. For a change I was pleasantly surprised by the perfectly spiced meat, along with fresh banana peppers. The result was a wonderful, relatively mess free, dining experience. The after effects of the donair were revitalizing and almost carnal.

I have gone to this car wash many times and it was fine, but my last visit I was nearing the end of my wash when a grey haired attendant came up to me and told me I had to leave because I was taking to long and there were people waiting. He got right in my face and said if I did not go right away there would be trouble. I stood my ground and told him I was going to stay until I was finished my wash. And then he said again if I didn't go there would be trouble. He was uttering threats to me. I thought I was about to get hit by him, and I was prepared to defend myself. It was not until I told him I would call the police that he left me. I couldn't believe what just happened. I bought 10 bucks of tokens and planed to use them all because I had so much dried bugs and tree sap all over my car that is hard to get off. I don't think this is how customer service is supposed be. I tried to get a number for the owner but I was unsuccessful... I plan on stopping by in the next month until I find the owner and explain to him my disgust and what could have turned into a very bad outcome for me and his business. If this happens again I will phone the police and wait in the bay until they arrive to deal with the attendant. No one should be treated like I was, there was nothing I did to deserve this kind of treatment, I was just washing my car. Signed very unhappy customer Brian

I've been to this car wash countless times as it is the closest one to my house. On multiple occasions the old cranky male employee with a white beard has come out and treated other customers and myself disrespectfully. Today he told me to "Get out because there are other customers waiting" with a very aggressive tone. I explained to him I had only been in the wash area for about 2minutes and that I had to wait for about 30 minutes to get in. He proceeded to say that "he's been watching me and my time was up". So I left the car wash with my car half clean and drove twice as far to finish it at another place. Safe to say that I will never return to this place, super unhappy with the way I was treated.

Wow, someone I suspect is an owner or manager of this car wash was verbally abusive during a very busy time when I couldn't pull forward and was honking me aggressively. He then approached my vehicle to confront me. Very bad customer service, I feared the employee was going to become violent. The reason I think he's the manager/owner is because he went into the back with the incredibly grumpy attendant that's been mentioned several times on this site. I've been going to this car wash since it opened and will not be returning. I wish I could rate this zero stars. Under previous owners this was a very safe and welcoming well run car wash. Too bad it isn't anymore.

Small convenience store with a car wash at the side, inside the store is a little crammed but has what you'd need for a snack or two. Friendly staff, I believe if you spend over $10 you get a free coffee or slurpee! I've gotten 4 so far :)

I've been going to this place for years now and have found that the guys running it are more worried about the car wash getting dirty than your car or truck getting clean. Not sure what happened to them but it is sad to see what used to be a friendly place to go turn in to a miserable business only worried about the money they bring in instead of good customer service. Thanks for snarling back at me after I said goodmorning and making sure my already spotless truck bed wasn't dirty, wouldn't want people cleaning their brand new vehicles and messing up your "car wash".

You can do what it says on the box...and shampoo your dog if you are that way inclined. Never any long waits and results (car or dog) directly in line with how much product/money/elbow grease you are prepared to use.

I've been going here for 16 years, and have NEVER had an issue with the old grey haired dude! In fact, I was glad he asked the person who was drying his car inside, while there was a line up, to get outside!! He always jokes around and has been very nice, but I guess I'm not an idiot!! I couldn't deal with some of the people they have to!!

Dog wash! First place I've tried with my pup, it was fun, however the process was daunting as the coins weren't working and I had to go in twice to get them to switch out the tokens. The water was warm which was nice, pressure was decent, the blow dryer could work a little better. But all in all for a first time experience it was ok.

Standard Fair Car Wash - had to walk all around to find where the money converter (to coins) was (on the South wall). Getting in and out from/onto the street is a bit awkward - try for the most westerly bay.

Came to this carwash because I live across the street so figured I would support the neighbourhood business. There is plenty of soap and the water was nice and hot and admittedly the actual wash was fantastic. The issue arrives when I went to rinse the car. It kept pushing soap out. I had to switch to Spot free rinse. While it didn't have any soap in it, there is absolutely 0 water pressure with it and I spent $4 rinsing my car. All of this is no big deal usually. I called the number on the door and the man seemed eager to make it right by offering some tokens to effectively get a free wash. Except when I go knock on the door as advised no one answers. Call the number again and no reply. Terrible. If you have my number saved in your caller ID call me back and make it right and I will remove this review.

Great carwash on Jan 31, 2021 but the older man who seems to own the place or at least works there quite often yelled at me to close the bay door. He could have been polite and asked me to close the door. Instead he chose to yell at me aggressively which seems unnecessary and impolite. I could not see a sign anywhere asking customers to close the door after entry. It's a beautiful day, except for the aggressive man I just encountered at Western Pride Carwash Elbow Drive.

While I was at this car wash an employee wearing a beanie and blue coveralls was screaming at people to hurry up and finish washing their cars while he smoked his cigarette inside the building. He also yelled at me for using a wash mit instead of the brush (I was using the brush for the foam, I just refuse to touch my $90,000 car with a brush.) I will avoid this place in the future and I recommend going elsewhere.

If you want a nice customer experience nearby I'd suggest Heritage Coin Wash. I live near this western pride and drive past to go to Heritage (pictured). Heritage might look a bit rough but has fair timers, reasonable rules regarding mud/trucks etc, and lots of bays. Edit: I believe the guy who stopped my long term business at Western is the same guy mentioned in many other reviews. Treats customers like we're all out to do something wrong/are idiots. No longer giving business to those who can't have at least some customer service levels. Plenty of other places in Calgary to go.

Pulled in as the only customer in the place, got out of my car and got yelled at by the old grey haired guy for not closing the door. I asked if that's how he treats all customers, he says yes. I told him I might as well go elsewhere, he keeps yelling at me, so I left with an unwashed car.

Most of the washing features are ok. Timer is short. AVOID the vacuum, couldn't even pick up rocks. When asked about it, a rude, old worker was dismissive. Terrible customer service, will not go back. On top of that, he would hover around almost as if to rush you out. He definitely doesn't like his job, people or both. Either way, don't need to experience that again. Plenty of other car washes that will gladly take my money.

Went to this car wash today to wash my wife’s car. Got yelled at by the older grey haired attendant because I forgot to close the door. “This button closes the door! Keeps the heat in!!” I’m not that easily offended but I draw the line when someone speaks to me in a way that insults my intelligence. TEN YEARS I have been a regular customer here. Because of this guy, today was the last time. You treat your customers like mindless idiots, you lose your customers.
