I get the automatic $16 extreme wash which used to be called the Truck wash, I have done it a couple times before and found it to be satisfactory… this time it was terrible. Not worth more than a $9 Co-op automatic wash. Left dirt on tale gate, didn’t even touch the bug guts, and dirt on the sides of my truck. I will not be returning. Big waste of money, owners must be skimping and programmed the wash for the bare minimum. Co-op extreme leaves my truck looking way nicer for less money. Edit: now that owner has responded, my truck did not have heavy dirt, and for cheaper coop offers bug pre spray, and does a better job.

Best car wash in South East Calgary! They have automatic and hand wash stations, with a variety of payment options, including tap. Love that they have vacuums inside and out so I can clean every corner.

Good place to wash the car. Credit card terminals definitely need an upgrade and are a pain to get to read your cars. Come at night to avoid stupidly long lines. Otherwise good choice.

I wouldn’t come here often especially when it’s busy, the location kind of takes the shine out of its name because there is no place to shine your vehicle. It’s almost crammed into a small lot. Not to mention the grounds alone are a mess. The car wash itself is okay, the new credit card machines work well but everything else is out the window

Left my vehicle with dirt and water marks on it (even after purchasing the ultimate wash) and the dryer is not powerful enough or gives you enough time.... do not recommend the automatic wash.

Watch your credit card statements. I “rinsed” the wife’s car was In For 5 minutes tops. Display said I was charged $6.40 now my credit card statement says $15.00 which is the max per cycle. Will be calling on Monday and going back through my CC history

First off, I pulled into the parking lot and the worker was standing outside just staring at me until I got out of my vehicle. I was on the phone with my mom so I was sitting there about 10 minutes with this guy uncomfortably staring at me the whole time. I finally got out of my vehicle and the guy is still standing on the sidewalk staring at me lol .. anyways, I walk up to him and ask if I can pay inside with debit to get a code for the automatic car wash. I was told no, credit card or cash. That just seemed too sketchy for me, so I left. Now that I see the reviews I am glad I didn't use my credit card.

I have never had an issue with the credit card reader. The bays are kept reasonably clean. Plenty of soap from the foam brush. I spend about $300 a year here washing my motor home and truck. Only reason for not been rated higher is the recycled water for washing is DIRTY. Yes it is for cleaning only but the water should be cleaner. I use only the rinse cycle which is better.

Was in the work van and the guy forced me into the rv bay. I can easily fit in the normal one and have at least 20 times. I can usually wash the van off for $2 and depending on your timing there will be no lines

charged $20 for a wash that was under $4. i'm hoping they over-authorize like at the pump. i checked my previous purchases there and they seem to be correct. Credit card company says to wait 5 days to see if it is corrected. i will wait and see. Changed to 5 stars - it was only the pre-authorization. Thanks for response.

DONT GO HERE! No attendant for assistance. Timer didn’t stop when Stop Button was pressed. Hose continued to spray soap even after a minute on rinse setting, $1 got you 30seconds and was charged $30 for a 5 minute wash... Best be seeing that adjusted within 2 days!!!

Single bay is alot nicer than double deep ones, but they're dirty and the wands don't fully shut off, (just 100% on and 50% on) more soap and warm water would be better aswell. No problems with the card readers.

Another person ripped off by the 20 dollar car wash, I used my credit card. Of course they have no phone number and you have no recourse as it is not attended. Like many of you, I used to enjoy coming to this car wash. It's very convenient and open all hours. But I've just watched it fall apart over the years. It's held together with duct tape basically, and sometimes the lift doors do not work at all. It is unfortunate to lose 20 dollars but I imagine what if I had a serious problem caused by the car wash. I will never go back again.

Had two awful washes in the last few months. Almost no soap suds and spot free rinse left very noticeable drip marks and spots. I usually over do it, spending $12-16 per wash (pre-wash, soap, full rinse, spot free rinse). I'd be better off hosing it down on my driveway. I won't be going back.

Used to come here all the time rather than the gas station car washes. But they just increased their prices by 40% on the auto washer. Won't come back. $16 for a wash is over the top. Update: Prices for a wash have been reduce to $13, much more reasonable, I will start coming back here.

The car wash isn’t maintained or kept clean. The equipment is broken and your vehicle doesn’t even get clean, I tried two separate wash bays before finally just leaving. The sprayers dispense any where near the amount of soap needed to wash a vehicle. When I noticed the staff both times they said the wash will be free but what’s the point when you can’t clean the vehicle?

Wash is decent when it's working, the touchless wash seems to be out of service from time to time with a pylon in front of the lane. I can't speak to the self wash bays but they always seem to be open when the automatic one is broken. Bumping up rating due to fast reply from the owner!

Heard about this place from my girlfriend. I’ve been using the Shell Self Serve in Riverbend for 10+ years, first time at Suds n Shine. 4 bay doors great you as you turn the corner to the entrance. Thankfully no line at 7pm on a Tuesday. The machines are easy to understand, loonies or toonies, loonies get you 1:11mins and toonies 2:22mins. The wands are nice and short, with lots of power. The brushes are great and the foam is thick and generous. Signs on the wall tell you what certain modes on the washer do, would love a guide that tells me the order in which to use them. Some of these signs are worn and hard to read, same with the labels on the dial. Only complaint is that the wand takes about 5-10 seconds to begin shooting out the. We stuff after you change over. Therefore wasting 5-10 seconds of time when you switch from soap to rinse. Not entirely sure what the clear coat did either as it appeared to be identical to the rinse option. Will continue to use this car wash into the future, while the drive is a bit further, the higher level of quality in the tools and soap are worth it. Would love a rewards program for people who wash lots! Thanks!

DO NOT WASH YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! I told the attendant that the stop button was not working in the RV bay causing the machine to max out on time each use. He assured me that it was working properly and that the bill would be adjusted. A lie of course and my card was charged the maximum. Now I read in other reviews that this is an ongoing problem at this business. Liars and cheats. Take your business elsewhere.

Lineups are decievingly brutal. When the weather is frigid, exiting the car wash is dangerous trying to avoid the curb or ice piles that are built up. Otherwise it's good.

Good car wash. I can tell that the bays are cleaned regularly. Staff are always friendly and direct you to an empty bay and provide change if needed, although they do have a change machine too. Hand wash and touchless bays are both available, also a big bay for RVS and larger trucks. Vacuums have good suction. They even have free air for your tires which I think is a nice added touch. I recommend this car wash ????

Not very many options but gets the job done none the less. I went on a Sunday and the wait time was very short. Would only recommend if you need to do a quick wash but if you want more than that I suggest going somewhere with more options. And the prices are reasonable.

All these people complaining about their credit cards being over charged need to have some patience and read the signs. After a couple days it gets adjusted to what you actually spent. This is a great carwash I have been coming here for years and the bang for buck is great. I can always get a super thorough wash for under 10 bucks. The vacuums are pretty weak though. 5 stars if that gets fixed

I have gone here quite a few times. The facilities are nice however, i find that i keep getting over charged. No matter the time i spend with the wand wash i get a $15 charge on my credit card. Most recently i washed my car, maxed out the timer and ran another cycle for finishing the rinse on my car. When i checked my statement i was charged twice a full rate at $15 dollars. I have been suspcious a few times, however, with the back to back cycle its clear there is some funny business going on with getting billied. Not happy with being rippped off and its more annoying to have to constantly get this corrected and adjusted not worth the hassel and to expensive with constant full charges. Be Careful
