I have been going here for about 3 years now after having bad experiences with The Chamois car wash. I don’t recall having to ask to get my car for a second wash because the car wasn’t clean. There are other car wash locations close to where I live but it’s totally worth the drive to get what I expect when I take my vehicles to the car wash. The owners are always friendly.

First time wash and it was a great experience! I have a F-150 and it was sparkling clean when done but the inside was taken taken care of properly.... for me it was impressive how they got all the dust out of the nooks and crannies of my dash board which is why i hate cleaning my truck in the first place...great job and everyone was friendly...will go back again for sure...

Used to be SO good. Last time I paid for the ultimate car wash. Inside still dirty, outside had dirt on the bottom from front to back. The black-out areas around my wheelwells all still smudged with dirt. Store area far too cluttered

I've tried MidTown Car wash twice. The first time I used them I was disappointed since they didn't do a good job at all. I thought it was an isolated incident so I tried them again today. I made a point of mentioning that I wasn't fully satisfied with the cleanliness inside my car last time to the person that took in my vehicle. I was hopeful that mentioning this would be enough to receive a clean car. Today's service left me equally disappointed! For $25+ the expectation is that I would receive a clean car, both inside and out. This was not the case!

I saw with my own eyes how the staff used a pressure washer so close to the surface repeatedly that at one point my vinyl ripped off. No one claimed responsibility and owner told me that he doesn't have time for this and walked away. It is a very poorly run business by a very stupid owner. I lost $25 and got my car damaged. No kidding, my car wasn't even cleaned properly. I wish I had gone to Chamois.

Absolutely horrendous service. Paid for a 5 star wash and got ripped off. Their machines are really slow and you barely get any soap and scrub from them. Car was in the same shape after I got it back. The low star reviews finally make sense. I talked to the receptionist and she offered me an extra air freshener. For $30 I could have washed it myself 5 times. Avoid this place at all cost!!

Horrible place. I paid $30 for the 5 star wash and my car didn't get clean. There was still garbage (they said they didn't throw out garbage but they threw everything out in the back seat just not the front) and it didn't get vaccumed which is supposed to come with the wash. There's still dirt on the doors. Would not recommend. I could do better on my own for cheaper.

I took my car for wash first time today and had the biggest shock of my life that spending $27 doesn't get a clean car in this city. There were spots all over the windows and corners, tires were not washed nor even the rims. Whay you would get in 10 minutes? The owner is a nasty guy, who doesn't even have decency to talk. Not going again and don't use the service if you care for your money. I wash the car myself better in 8 bucks in self-wash services! Close the business if you don't know how to wash the cars...

Great car wash with the option to pay with tap. The offer a change station should you need it as well as 6 bays where you can wash your vehicles. Located behind a auto garage. Vacuums are also available if needed. For about $8 you get over 10 minutes of wash time.

Super great service. The only thing I'd have to complain is that my middle console had some mud left from my dog that was missed, no biggie. Other than that, service is great, very speedy, nice staff and I find more accurate the the chamois. Sorry, I shouldn't have to point out my cup holders, mirrors were missed. That should be always done... And it is at Midtown each time. Thanks guys

Really clean place. There was no rush. All equipments were working fine. For a super dirty car like mine with ton of hugs on front, one should expect more money anywhere between 10 to 15 dollars as it takes time to rinse them first followed by soap and rinse again. Presoak doesnt work well on super dirty car. Watched some videos advising against foam brushes but I guess one can use them on wheels and front where all the bugs stick. For a day to day cleaning anywhere between 3 to 5 dollars should be good.

I'll stick with the chamois. I tried this place 3 times in the last month or so. They do not come close to the chamois at all. Water spots were left on my back an front windows and the hood. It's a black truck so everything shows. Dont do a very good job on the inside either . I get the 5 wash there. I'll stick to the gold wash at the chamois. Plus they have 24 hr car rewash free.

I try my best to help local businesses whenever possible. I've been to Midtown several times but I never leave 100% satisfied. Tried 1 or 5 star products but it feels the same to be honest. This place try to be as fast as possible and they are fast indeed. 5 minutes or less. But that is exactly the problem. Everything is done in a hurry. But true car lovers understand that is impossible to clean a car perfectly in 5 minutes. The clean done inside the car is irrelevant, again because it's all done in a hurry. I still stop by every now and then but it's too expensive for the service provided. $20 for the basic wash. You can get a simple wash for 8 bucks at any gas station and it will fell the same from the outside.

I normally go to The Chamois on St. James Street. Or to Headingley in a pinch. But due to the enormous amount of positive word of mouth feedback and online reviews, I made the drive from Westwood to the Osborne Village area to try it out for myself. I have to honestly say, the quality of service is about a 4 out of 10. The workers are polite, mind you. I have no issues with the staff. But they did a crummy job cleaning my truck! I chose the 5-Star Service. But after seeing floor mats that were barely washed, areas that barely had a vacuum dragged across them, wet areas that weren't wiped down, dirt and mud still showing throughout, and tires that looked rather dull.......I have no choice but to give Midtown a 1 star here. And the sad part is, you normally don't see these things until you get home. Or, unless you stop and inspect everything with a fine tooth comb before leaving. Although The Chamois is not perfect when you pay for the Gold Service, it's still clean and passable. Midtown didn't feel that way. I felt ripped-off. After all the praise.....what a let down. Everyone has an off-day. But if this off-day produced other lack-lustre jobs, there's either a whole lot of unhappy customers out there today. Or those that have just learned to live with the low standards. And keep coming back due to a lack of competition and options out there. If Midtown wasn't so far away from home, I'd come back and demand a re-do or a full refund. But, I'm not wasting my time and gas driving across the city for that. Chalk it up to experience......live and learn. Like I said, they may have had an off-day. Everyone does. And I won't trash them for that. But this was my personal experience. And they need to know about it. So, there it is! Thank you.

They go through the vehicle extremely fast. No attention to detail. The car barely looked clean inside and out. The Windows and windshield were covered in smudges. The car looks 100 times better when I spend 4$ at the wand wash, and I don't even dry off the car after. Huge waste of money.

we brought our jeep in to be cleaned their staff knocked something down the air vents and is now bouncing around the blower box. I have tried for over a week to get a response from the owner to get this rectified still no answer my wife wasn't happy with the cleaning she paid for the 4 star service and we found a broken bag of spaghetti under the back seat. I actually used to work here, it’s actually a bad place to come to, CEO is rude to his employees, he loves to throw things at his employees, I’ve witnessed him do. When your needing help with your car or something and you ask someone for help, they take they’re time or ponder it off to someone else. There’s a lot of sexual harassment that goes on but nobody does anything about it. Customers unfortunately don’t witness anything like that because they’re unable to hear anything. When you get your car cleaned here, they tend to spray the inside of your door which lends to Water damage inside the vehicle, which they quickly whip up so than you don’t know, so please don’t leave anything in your car that could get damage. Overall it’s a terrible car wash to come too, they don’t clean they’re towels after they’re done using them on a car, so your car pretty much being dryed and whiped down with a dirty towel. The way they clean they’re towels, they through them I’m a washer with no soap or anything and the towels go In for about 5-10 mins which is not enough time to fully clean them and then they take them out and throw them into a basket and that’s it. They don’t provide heating areas for they’re employees when it comes to winter, the employees Lunch room is also not heated and trust me it gets cold in the shop. Employees aren’t allowed to warm up inside the building.

I was super excited to get into my new clean car only to find that my carpets hadn't been cleaned and there was sticky gunk and still footprints all over the back of my seats. The mats were soaking wet and there's still dirt everywhere! I was super pleased that I got to waste my money and then go home and go over EVERYTHING because the "finest car wash in winnipeg" doesn't know how to wash cars. Thanks for nothing. The outside clean was mediocre, yet the inside is far below adequate. I went there specifically hoping they would vacuum the seats/mats, unfortunately this was only 25% completed (i.e. they did only the driver seat/mat). Waste of money, waste of time.

Love the owner, great guy. Car was very clean, they removed some really tricky stains on my seats. Had myself a nice little coffee while I waited. The wash went really quickly, so I was able to continue my day on time. Thanks to the nice team for their cash wash service.

Place was empty, the staff did not clean the back seat of my truck. I asked them to run it through again please? They sent out a girl who rewashed the driver side windows and then left. Our company has been going there for over thirty years. If a company wants to start up a business actually cleaning vehicles, they would have no competition.

Good but not great. They prominently post token prices, but I could not find anything stating how much wash time you get per dollar. (It appears to be 1 minute per dollar). The options are Engine Cleaner, Foaming Tire Cleaner, Presoak, Bubble Brush, High Pressure Soap, High Pressure Rinse, Hot Wax, Spot Free Rinse. Did the "Foaming Tire Cleaner" run out? It seems to be the same thing was the Presoak. The high pressure soap worked well. I did not try the bubble brush. The bays are clean but signage is a bit run down.

It was rush hour, and -30, who the hell is getting their car washed? You probably don't want to get your car washed here anyways if you've read any of the other reviews.

My cousin has been recommending Midtown to me for years but it's out of my way as I live in the country. I made it there for the first time today and I will never go anywhere else. My 2 daughters were in shock as to how clean my car is. I will recommend to my family and friends. You have to try this place and you will be addicted. Happy day for me!!

Paid for a 5 star wash. Have heard good things and everytime I drive by there are cars getting washed. Figured it would be similar to the chamois. Similar in structure but not in the actual work. Terrible job. Came in to the car and the front dash was half wiped. Center console wasn't even touched. Carpets and seats were wiped, but probably with an older cloth as they had that old cloth smell. Then putting my daughter in the car, saw that the back of the car wasn't wiped at all.

This place is not bad and kind of down from years ago when Penner are used to operate it. Notice that you have to really specifically asked to dry things properly or get this or get that or you never used to have do this under old ownership. I can be driving right past Chamois beside Costco in St James and I will drive all the way down to Midtown to avoid going to the Chamois. Seriously right now it's the lesser of two evils. If Midtown did a stellar job with a stellar attitude then all the downtown crowd would come back plus all the other people not from downtown. So they must be doing something right!

I paid for 5 star service just to wash my car from outside because in side vacuuming is called detail cleaning and they said they don't cleaning form inside All they dust and chips crumbs on seats.is called detail cleaning? I go to Midtown Car Wash as it is the closest option. I always go home disappointed and wonder why I pay the money. After the wash, the exterior of the car will still have gray smears of dirt and of course the interior is still dirty. The vacuuming is especially poorly done. When I get home I finish the vacuuming and clean the exterior and interior with soap and water. I use the car wash as a "pre-clean" to my cleaning. Also, I should mention that I am the only user of my car and I get it cleaned once a month. So the car is not especially dirty.

This place should be shut down! The owner was smoking INSIDE while he has “no smoking” stickers placed inside in the waiting area. He screams at the top of his lungs towards his employees, this isn’t a proper workplace for any of those guys who work there. They’re being dehumanized by a psychopath, also if you want really good customer service by the owner. All you need to do is be an attractive female, while I was waiting for my car an attractive lady came in. I saw the owner get up and completely struck up a conversation and made sure to go to his employees and tell them to do a good job on her car. This place deserves zero stars.

Worst carwash I have ever been to!!!! It took 40 seconds for the soap to actually come out and the brushes were really old. It costed me almost double what other self serve car washes cost. Spoke to management and he told me that it's like when we turn on the tap at home, it takes time to actually warm up. Not the answer I was looking for, but ok! I understand it takes some time for it to transition to soap, however, not 40 seconds!

$3 minimum, they take quarters unlike some other places, which is nice. Bays and tools are slightly scuffed but they work whenever I'm there. Would be nice to be able to drop just a buck in for quick rinses in the winter.

Wow! What a disappointment today! I decided to treat myself to a five star wash at Midtown Car Wash where I have been going for years! I have a rule of three - three bad experiences in a row and I don’t return. Today was number three. The outside of the vehicle was good but the inside job was non-existent. The cup holders were not wiped out and the vinyl did seem to have been touched. When I got home I had to wipe down the vinyl myself. (Decided to write review after doing partial wipe down so you don’t get to see all the disappointment) SO DISAPPOINTED ????

You will be better off just washing your car yourself. Interior was still dirty, exterior was streaky, they didn't even take the time to put my mats in properly, the passenger floor mat was just leaning on the glove compartment. I could have taken 3 loonies to a coin wash and done a better job

Paid for the top wash ($28 with tax) and utterly disappointed. Bugs still on window and front, all mats soaking wet, seats wet and inside hardly wiped down. Better off paying to do it yourself or your 5 year old kid.
