Took the 2017 toyota Highlander thru the car wash, when we got to the rinse cycle my grandson noticed we had water pouring into the rear of the vehicle. checked it out will let you know what dealerships says. (No damage though.) I think it was to much water for the rear window to take.

STAY AWAY ! If ANYTHING goes wrong you will be met with zero help from management and hostility! Had a very poor wash here ( twice ) . I approach management about it and took picture, had witness's . They got hostile and abusive towards me, despite pictures, car and witnesses ! was not even offered a refund or another cheap wash . STAY AWAY from this car wash . Very poor, hit and miss quality, and VERY poor managers !outlandish behaviour from management. Contacted the BBB, they said it was VERY poor service , BUT the business pays them for their membership and there is nothing they can do about poor quality Service and washes ( The BBB is paid for by business, and is useless really . Very Biased towards business, wont investigate nor even call business or witness's ) . This place will damage your car in the long run . Brushes are hard on paint ... so if you value your paint - DONT USE THIS PLACE !

Was turned away from this car wash because our truck bed was "too dirty". There was only small amounts of dirt in the tuck bed, if the truck wasn't dirty, we wouldn't be coming to get it washed. I have attached a photo of the truck bed for reference. As you can see there is minimal dirt, only some at the end closer to the cab. I could understand if there was piles of dirt, but this was no more than what would be on a running board or in tire treads . The attendant was extremely rude during the interaction and even when processing the refund continued to be rude regarding the whole situation. I guess they want us to wash our truck before we come to wash it there. In Response to the Owner: I can understand that you have to be concerned about debris in a truck bed, however as you can see by the photo there is a minute amount that is far less than what is on the off road vehicles we have seen go through the car wash in the past. Also, the truck bed had been swept out before coming. The amount that was left was a small portion that must've been shaken loose while driving. I find it very interesting that you say you offered for us to clean it out, but no such offer was ever made. Instead the attendant (or you as you claim) showed zero respect at any point during the entire interaction. Everybody was incredibly rude and not helpful in the slightest. Based on the fact that you said you offered for us to clean it out, when that offer was never made, it seems like all you are trying to do with your response is refute a negative review and try to discredit what was said in the eyes of the public.

I always tell to my self that i don't have to go there, because I am always angry after a car wash, but for some reason I keep giving them a chance. I can't do that anymore. Even today I decided not to go with the cheapest wash, but still the result was poor. If you guys like Shine Auto I would recommend going to Vancouver or Burnaby, but definitely pass Coquitlam one.

It’s always fun watching my car getting cleaned here with the colourful foam and all. Price is fair for the service you get, I would say this is the best place for machine car wash. Only downside is the attendants always seem grumpy... would be more refreshing if you are greeted with a smile rather than a grunt.

Great cleaning venue in North Burnaby area comparing to gas stations’ facilities. We tried many of them and Shine Auto was is a perfect solution. Even the machine removes the oily side of the tires! Vacuum is strong and no smell for 4 minutes reliable.

This place is normally pretty great when no one is there as the automatic machine explains the process and everything works fine. But for some odd reason, Shine Auto Wash decided to hire a rude staff member (Tuesday at 1:20 am) who confuses you as he poorly attempts to give you directions and then gets mad afterwards.

Fast car wash but didn't get all the dirt off (the area where the tires would kick up dirt onto your car). But it was another one of those super fast car washes. They ask you to fold your side mirrors so it didn't wash my side mirror glass. I always get all the options, so it's pricey. It is not touchless. I probably wouldn't go back.

Overall good wash. Completely cleans the upper surfaces of the car and the sides. There are still some untouched areas on the lower front bumper and noticable untouched areas on the rear. During the last time I visited, no tire shine was applied to my front driver side tire. Would any of the additional options address the cleaning issues on the rear? I'd definitely pay more for getting the back as clean as the rest of the car.

I’ve been using this car wash for the past year. Today I went in and purchased the same wash I get every time I go there, which is the platinum with 2 vacuum tokens. The tokens were not dispensed. I told the attendant what happened and he told me to go into the office and tell them. Once the car wash was complete, I went into the office to explain what happened. There were two men in the office, the one skinny male with what appeared to be a half moustache started giving me an argument about “what if he went into a store and bought a TV and forgot to take it” !!?? I didn’t forget anything, the tokens did not come out !! ...... we’re talking $2.00 in tokens !! He said it was my fault !!

Paid for gold, got given lowest tier. Told to go back through to get the gold, no one came to help and had to pay AGAIN was not refunded and still just got the lowest tier. Third time through finally got the gold but got no refund, no voucher. Horrible customer service and absolutely no customer compensation for their mistakes.

Fantastic wash! Great experience washing a 2021 Toyota Corolla. Got it perfectly clean! There's a great and novel place to vacuum right across the street owned by the same place, you pay $3 and you can vacuum both sides at once(If you bring along a helper)! Going to be my go to for a wash from now on!

Came in and they were understaffed so no one caught the twigs in my truck bed. I then ask if I could sweep them out and was told no that I was to get a refund. The refund was in cash, something that they don’t except. I won’t ever return to this car wash that can’t wash cars. PS I don’t care how your machine works, you obviously need one that will work for everyone.

Price is okay, plastic thing on rear wiper blade is annoying .. if your going to have someone put it on then have someone on the other side take it off . Plus pull back out my side mirrors. Worst thing when u have kids in the car .. Then have to run around your vehicle in circles letting cold air in, key in your pocket creates the dinging when u leave the vehicle .. wakes up kids if sleeping. Rant over.

Process is easy enough, very straight forward and the wash only takes a couple minutes... That said the wash quality itself is about a 6/10. Lots of missed spots. I drive a 2016 pathfinder, it's a pretty plain vehicle, not a lot of angles or exterior nooks and crannies but lots of spots were missed, the roof was barely washed at all. Vacuum tokens are too expensive. 3$/4 minutes... Too much.

Pretty fancy looking with the flash lights and all the but 18$ for the top of the line drive threw wash the whole thing took 1 min and seemed super fast, like slow it down a bit maybe would have done a better job in my opinion inspection of my vehicle after and was a lot of missed dirt and dust that I’m sure would have washed away in not so rushed threw the brushes .... 2 out of 5 star ⭐️

Very disappointed, my review is based on two times in this place. First time I lost the top windows plastic cover of the passenger door; and broke 6" of the plastic edge cover of the bed in the pickup truck. Nothing I can do. Second time time they refused the truck after I paid because I have 2 pieces of 2x4 on the back. The same pieces of wood that I have there the first time that I was here. Making me going to the main office to get the refund. I would have removed the wood in 30sec..but it looks like they don't care. Now that every business is having a hard time to survive they don't even ask me if can put the wood inside the truck, providing the service and getting the money. Thanks God that my money didn't pay the salary to that guy in that office. Btw, I when to another car wash, I asked if I have to remove the 2x4 and he told me that I don't have to. They did it with not problems....to the answer of the owner, I'm completely agree with that ..but ... why they didn't ask me to remove the wood if they highly trained. why I have too ask why are the rejecting me, why they don't explain what is wrong. Bad communication skills. trained to reject not to find solutions. We are not obligated to come to this place, we come here because we like it.

AVOID for Tesla ... Absolutely terrible wash, took me 30 min to cleanup the mess after ... There was greasy residue left on the tires. A whole lot of cleaning soup was pushed into the frunk. Avoid at all cost if u have a Tesla.

All automated car washes are not perfect. It's made up of sensors and there are numerous car types and models. So dont expect that all nooks and crannies of your car will be covered. You'll need to do a quick follow up with a rag on those missed spots. However, I'm very happy with the results and will definitely come back again. The attendants were friendly and did a good job in guiding me when I was pulling into the wash. Their vacuums are also quite powerful and its best that you have a 2nd person with you so that you can maximize the use of the 2 hoses.

The service is superfast and the place is easily accessible from Trans-Canada and Lougheed Hwy. What I like the most is that this place looks very clean and tidy and the staff is friendly. If I'd have to say something bad, maybe the vacuums are a bit underpowered, but they are not bad at all.

I used the vacuums only. Took me a bit to realize the reason the suction was so weak was because the hose was plugged. Guess customers need to check they don't try to suck up masks and baby wipes? Come on people! BTW once the hose was cleared the vacuum worked really well.

Walked back to drive wash and told the guy, vacuum is not working and he told me couple vacuum is not working... and he told me to get refund at the office. Office was closed and why did they not put the sign that vacuum is out of order.. not gonna visit again.

Attendant- what do you want me to do about it? Manager- yea it does that sometimes on some vehicles. Me- can you fix it? Them- no Manager said he'd send me thru again but after alot of hassle. So I went to wash world up the street

Today was my first time at this location using the vacuums and it was a horrible experience. The token dispenser was a disaster, tried different credit cards, chips, mag stripes, tapping - all lead to failure (and probably identify theft). I finally managed to spend $4 dollars to get my 1 token, then proceeded to help another customer through the same horrible token dispensing charade - Let us pay cash or fix your machine! Then came the actual vacuuming, which sadly was even worse than the tokens. No suction! Unlike every other car vacuum I've visited where each stall has its own vacuum, here they use some sort of low-quality central vacuum system, it was busy, clearly the system is inadequate and the suction was terrible - My Dyson vacs are SUBSTANTIALLY better than this places central vac. Worse, they only provide a small stick style nozzle which was constantly plugging with pine needles and debris from my trunk. I spent half my time clearing the end of the hose. Save your money and head to a different location for better suction and tools.

Shine Aito Wash does a good job for a reasonable price. I get the basic wash for 7 bucks and I haven't been disappointed. No streaks or leftover dirt. Bring a cloth to wipe your side mirrors and inside doors after.

Wow, what a fiasco. Took my car here for the first time today (use one in Vancouver regularly with no issues) and when I got home I noticed small white flecks all over my black paint. It took hours to get it all off, plus there was a ton of soap residue in the crevices that should not have been left after the rinse. Stay away if you have a dark car and care about your paint!

Paid for the basic wash, heard something hit the side of my car during the car wash and it scratched the driver door. Not sure how this is even possible.... staff was nice and i thought it would just give my car a quick non-damaging wash.

I would give 5/5 for the actual car wash, but every time we come here the vacuums don't work. Sure we could run across the street and ask for our coins refunded, but the whole point of it is the contactless convenience. Especially now with Covid! I'd suggest that an employee just go there every morning to check all of them and put signs on them they're out of order until someone fixes them. They have cracked nozzles, weak suction that can't even suck dirt, and some that don't work at all (of course you figure that out after you throw the coin in). It's been like this for months!

Last Monday we went to this location for a vacuum and a wash (we have been regulars for the last few years), only to find out that it is now tokens only for the vacuuming, so you can either use one token ($3) or two or three, but you can not top up your three bucks basic time with just a loonie or a toonie. Went ahead anyway, only to have the first 30 seconds no suction at all, but of course once the time is up, the machine stops exactly that second. Disappointing, but likely a new business strategy to get people to use two tokens. We went to the car wash after and were turned away, as there was residue from some grass in the bed of the truck... one of the reasons we went to the car wash! We removed what we could before we left home. We were just told we could not use the car wash. Not very politely, I have to add. So in these times to be turning business away, they must be doing really well! There are other car wash stations in the area, so this is IT for us. The only reason I gave one star is that there is no way to do zero or negative one...

I was turned away for having too much dirt in the back of my truck,at first i thought i was a joke. I asked if he had a broom i could give it a quick sweep but i would have to buy tokens and use their vacuum station.so i was denied entry. Needless to say I went somewhere else and will never,ever return to any shine auto.

Definitely not worth your money. I paid for the 15bucker and it did not do a good job. The underneath did not get washed at all. Asked the attend if we can run threw again... after making us wait 10 mins, said no he can't do that right now and to come back on weekend. I will not waste my gas coming from langley to get a rewash because it did not wash the first time Edit: answers to your question of who does a better job on under carriage... the rain.. save your money folks. My vehicle wasn't even that dirty for your high end machine to not do its job :) also... your staff member shouldn't make someone wait over on the side for over 10 mins, just to say sorry you got to come back on the weekend

I drive a 2014 Ford Explorer, apparently their brushes will not clean the rear tailgate, when I mentioned this to the attendant the explanation was that their brushes can’t deal with the design of this vehicle. All he would do is wipe with a cloth which, to me, is not the solution and will only scratch the paint service. I won’t return to this car wash when there are so many other car wash facilities that produce satisfactory service with attendants who are truly helpful

Great place for a quick vehicle wash but every time I go there the tap never works very well had to get assistance today from a staff member and she said they have had problems with them. Very frustrating when you have a truck and have to get out everytime and try and tap took at least 10 mins to get it to work!!

The wash is good value but typical of these designs, some small areas are always missed. The vacuum service is way overpriced for the short time provided. It’s about double the price of others nearby and the double sided feature only matters if you gave 4 arms.

My wife and I decide to try this place out and run her new Forte Gt through the wash we got the silver package. Upon completion we discovered a major scratch on the trunk of the car which wasn't there before the car is brand new. We made and incident report last night and were told a manager will call us the next day next day went by and did not hear anything from no manager. Poor service poor quality I will be talking to my insurance e company and making these guys pay for the damages caused by their car wash machine do not recommend this place. **Update on company response below** It's not odd as it's not only side brushes that clean the car but actual brushes that go over top of the car from front to back whats odd is I was told I will be contacted but did not hear anything from management until I post a review. I will email you asap!

Love this car wash on Terminal and it's awesome having such a sizable location out in Coquitlam. This location is massive, featuring four lanes for cars. Four car wash options are available, with the most expensive being $18.00. No vacuums yet, but they're on their way.

I purchased the gold option and upon finishing I quickly inspected the car and found dirt marks still on the car. I went back to the attendant and asked if I could go in again to try to get some of the dirt marks out. He said it wasn’t possible and that it wasn’t ‘guaranteed’. That completely threw me off because why get a car wash if it’s not guaranteed? I asked to speak to the manager and told him the exact same thing. That I did not need my money back but that I wanted to go in a second time. He said it wasn’t possible, it’s not guaranteed and to try to soak the dirt spots to remove them. These dirt marks were from regular city and highway driving and not something major like off roading. Customer service is horrible. Save your money.

After not hearing back from regional manager Justin for weeks now after sending in the pictures taken of my car, I managed to reach out and contact him by phone. It turns out that if you have an issue with the establishment you must NOT leave the property without filling out and incident report. Not once did any of the individuals I contacted mention any sort of incident report. Instead of simply replying to my email stating that an incident report had not been filed, Justin went on to dismiss the issue because I had not formally filled out an incident report that NOBODY bothered to mention. He proceeded to inform the that since no incident report had been filed, my only option was to file an ICBC claim to have the issue resolved. Regardless of the proper proceedings, Justin handled himself VERY poorly and this review would have simply stayed as is, had he simply replied to my email, or at the very least, not be so dismissive when he failed to communicate in the first place. Keeping it at 1 star for disgraceful customer service. Original post: I have used Shine Auto Wash on both Terminal and Gilley many many times without an issue. Ever. I wanted to try out the new location. Everything was fine but I did find it odd that the attendant walked my car through the wash, almost like he was making sure the car wash was doing what it's supposed to? Anyway, no big deal, thought nothing of it and I wasn't worried until I heard a scrape like noise on what I was HOPING would be my passenger window. After the wash and after I got to an area to dry-detail my auto-child, I decide to do a look over of the passenger side. This is what I see: Swirls and scuffs in the top coat, totally expected. Genuine SCRATCH in my paint?? Not cool :( ???? I noticed you mentioned that in 1.5 million vehicles you have never had this issue well looking into the reviews, 1.5 million must have been your peak because it seems like I'm not the only one with the same issue that didn't happen 1.5 million vehicles earlier.

Please beware before using this carwash especially if you have a civic or you worry about damaging your vehicle at all! I've been using this carwash for a while without problem and loved it but during the last wash there was definitely a problem. I could tell it wasn't the same as usual, it was almost violent. My mirrors were being pushed in and out over and over and the whole car was rocking back and forth. Got home and noticed some pretty bad damage on my civic. The passenger side fender was bent straight up. I emailed the company to notify them that something was wrong with the carwash and they said they'd check the videos of my wash but after a couple reminder emails over the last month or longer, I've never heard back hence, I am now writing this review. Please beware if you are considering using this carwash. The damage to my car is not cheap to fix and it 1000% was caused by this carwash. ***Also, they replied to this review right away saying my car has damage to it's bumper. It has never had damage on the bumper and currently does not have damage on the bumper, my car is in immaculant condition prior to this carwash. Also, not sure how that relates at all to my complaint either considering it's no where near the damage the carwash caused ***

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Went for an automated wash, something was wrong with the blower and it did not dry up the car even close. Came out of the car wash and my car was dripping wet. Confronted to the guy working at night. THEY GUY WORKING AT NIGHT IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WAS SUPER RUDE FOR NO REASON AND IT DID NOT OFFER A RE WASH OR A REFUND. AND WAS VERY VERY RUDE FOR NO REASON. I have used BURNABY SHINE AUTO WASH and it is amazing and no problems whatsoever. REQUESTING MANAGEMENT TO REPORT NIGHT GUY and if possible offer me a re-wash or a refund. This would at least show a bit of their customer service. Waiting. Will update soon.

This chain is run by a group of rude managers. They're expensive. Their machines don't work well. The vacuum only sucks your coins well but not the dirt. The carwash left many dirty spots like bird droppings and when I showed it to thre mngr... he shrugged his shoulders.

Went there and came out the car still dirty , asked the guy there and he said “ there’s no grantee .” I asked him if anything he could do for me maybe get in one last time to see if the stink will washed out . He said “NO” Eventually I have to went home and hand washed my car after went for the ridiculous auto cask wash . So ridiculous but true that those stink washed out by hand easily and it wasn’t sticking hard . Just don’t understand where is the point after paying for auto wash and have to wash my car by my hand afterwards .

Save your money folks. You will get far better value and service if you go to a charity “by donation” car wash. A small group of reasonably bright 7th graders, equipped with a hose, bucket and some rags will do a better job on your car.

Use to like coming here. Last time I tried getting a wash there was spoty residue on the back of my car. Like a chemical add on from the wash, but I could not wash it off at all! it's going to cost me a lot of money to get it washed and chipped off because the residue hardened. Tried calling the number listed but no one is there to answer ever.

This is the best car wash in the lower mainland 100%. I come here from langley just for a drive because no car washes in my area clean like this one. The tire shine always hits my low pro tires and shines them up good, other car washes with this feature seem to never work on my tires. Employees seem really nice and are good at getting you in the car wash really quick when it's busy. Highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed. Our car really shines after a wash from here.

was told to remove rocks that I couldn't even see in my truck bed while several other trucks were not looked at with such detail. was super busy and cars were about 3 feet spacing in the wash. paid for extras like tire shine and extra scrub and my car was still dirty and 1/4 of each tire got tire shine

I have been coming to shine auto Wash for quite some time and I have to say I always get great friendly service from the guys that are working, always helpful or able to answer questions, the vacuum system is amazing and strong, when you pay you don't just get one vacuum but you get a vacuum on each side so if you happen to have a friend with you both of you can both vacuum and get it done quicker. prices are reasonable and the wash is always really good. Highly recommended

The best automatic car wash I've ever been to! It pulls your car along for you so you don't have to drive, and it has pieces that touch the car to get it extra clean. There was no wait to get in as they can take multiple cars at the same time. Highly recommended!

No waits usually, and car comes out mostly clean. License plate in my tow hook mount got bent because one of the rotating brushes caught the side. Would recommend removing first before going in. Also, love how they still have runner-up Miss Canada still providing video prompts. Hope she's still getting royalties after all these years. Lol
