Nice people, but you don’t wash away spilled oil by dumping a gallon of water all over my engine. Caused my van to go into limp mode leaving their driveway. They blew compressed air to try to dry whatever they caused to short out, which got my van working again but cost me 20 minutes and I’ve been having engine issues ever since a couple weeks after that incident. The kid whispered to the manager “should we give him a free car wash coupon” which the manager declined and instead gave me a 10% off coupon for the next oil change. No thank you, will never be returning.

Had my oil changed yesterday and the service was fantastic! Even though they were following proper distancing they offered to put masks on (they explained that with their work the masks can be a hindrance so they typically follow social distancing but wanted to make sure I felt safe). When my service was finished I drove away without my crazy wash stub! The team was fantastic and called me too let me know If forgotten to grab it. Top notch!

I don't know what it is about Great Canadian, but from location to location I get some of the best damn customer service out there, regardless of the type of business/industry. Fast, welcoming and professional. Best oil change experience I've ever had! As a lady, Mr. Lube and mechanic shops in general have made me feel uncomfortable, patronized and exploited. Timmy and the team at Great Canadian Oil Change were the complete opposite. They are relaxed, honest, friendly and have a positive energy, which made me feel comfortable. Besides that, it was the fastest and most efficient oil change. Lastly, their location is fantastic on Resources Rd. and as a side note I love their retro branding.

My advisor was friendly a d polite, however the technician changing the oil broke my skid plate protector and denied it. It's hanging off in multiple sections. When I told them the part was new, two technicians started arguing with me, and refused to acknowledge what I was saying. I absolutely do not recommend having your oil changed here.

I always come here to get my oil changed, the employees are so nice and good at their job. However today I went in with a leak thinking it was oil (it was coolant) and unfortunately couldn't fix it there but thanks to Chris and Rowen, they helped me find the problem, gave my car a top up and helped us find where we could get it fixed and didn't charge us anything. UPDATE ** Lube bays- Just went and used them for the first time today, very fast efficient, very good experience, would recommend. Ron the service advisor was clear, descriptive on all work and service being done, keeping me updated with every charge being put on the bill. didn't catch the name of the lube technician in the pit but was also very clear and descriptive calling out everything he did and noticed under the truck. Really appreciate that he yellow marked all bolts or drain plugs undone while servicing and called out that everything is torqued and good to go as he went. Really great job guys, thank-you again. Carwash- Doesn't clean around the sensors on the rear of cars very well. That was the "give it all you got package" and there's a bit of dirty residue left in the sensors.(this was from a few months ago, haven't tried since)

Nice place with great people!! I pulled up to the car wash in a work vehicle and needed to pay using a fleet card, but it wasn’t working. When I went in to ask if I could use this card the attendant said that unfortunately they aren’t set up to accept those types of cards yet (but that are trying to get it sorted out), and apologized. So as I was backing out of the line-up to go somewhere else, the attendant came out and said he didn’t want to have me leave without getting my vehicle cleaned, and he insisted on paying for a wash for me. I was blown away with the generosity. Many thanks again!! A car wash is a car wash, but the people make the difference.

Took my vehicle here for the automatic wash, took the top package to make sure it was well done. After the wash there were several places that had not been cleaned. While sitting the the parking lot I was approached by a staff member without prompting who offered to run my vehicle through again because he wasn't happy with the result. Car was due for an oil change. Based upon reviews I decided to try this location. Tyler was great, no upselling, and when asked about using a coupon, he applied one that I didn't have access to. They checked my battery, filled my washer reservoir, checked the air filter, and the pressure of all my tires. Filled engine with the correct amount and grade of oil. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Great customer service experience, I will be back.

I actually wrote a review but i guess it didn’t load properly. Anyway this place was great. They were fast, efficient and friendly. I was offered a coffee or water, they showed me my oil afterwards was nice and clean and I proceeded to the car wash right after that did a great job of making my car look like it didn’t just do most of the summer back and forth to Edmonton without a wash. I got some dash wipes and car fresheners. Loved it, I recommend you try it out.

Improper air filters dusted inside of an engine they refused warranty 76,000 km on unit. Truck uses excessive oil now I will not use their services ever again. I went today for my first oil change that I've done alone (in the past my fiance would sit in the driver's seat and I'd stay in the passenger seat). They went above and beyond I told them it was my first oil change (because it basically was) they were super kind, they went through everything they did and showed me all the levels and everything always asked me if I wanted to check different things. No aggressive upselling or unexpected add-ons. They even fixed my license plate that was hanging on for dear life. Thank you all so much. This new-female-anxious-driver gives them 5-stars. Received a copy of my charges indicating what service they did which were NOT performed. No one checked my signal lights nor did they look at the windshield wipers though this was indicated as being performed as a service. Had brought Toyota in for service and rear diff plug seal wasn't on after check causing leak of gear oil everywhere. Brought brand new Ford f150 in for oil change and found oil plug leaking after driving for a 1000km. They replaced plug and oil. However this could have caused bigger issues if not caught in time. Just did a coolant flush on my vehicle. Overall great experience. Great price. It would have been good if they had a waiting area but since they do the service quick, waiting in the vehicle isn't too bad. On a side note, maybe next time better information on the coolant used. I came in and asked firstly if they used dex cool (RED) and the technician said yes. After the flush I saw green in the reserve and called in to ask. I was told that their coolant is compatible with dexcool and the green was just the pigment used. So I am just confused: are they actually using GREEN colored dexcool or coolant compatible to dexcool? It would be nice for customers to know exactly before hand. Again though overall service was quick and great price too.

Quick, painless and no pressure. I am currently on a tight budget, and the price here was phenomenal. I desperately needed my lifetime filter cleaned, so they gave me a great deal on the cleaning kit, installed a paper filter, and even with the two of those, it was still cheaper than many of the other places I called around to. Best service I've ever had from a lube shop. Adam was friendly and very informative, and told me exactly how to use the cleaning kit, and the top tech he was working with was very quick (even though I'm a jerk and made him take the air filter out about 4 different times, because I'm indecisive haha). Will definitely be going here again, and I've already recommend them to other people I know. Good job fellas!

I've gone to this location before and always had great service. And this time was no different! I went in for a standard oil change but they notified me that I had an oil pan leak and that it wasn't worthwhile to have my oil changed because as soon as I contacted a mechanic they would have to drain it anyways. I feel a little mislead here, came in for the Facebook $20.00 June 30th only, oil change promotion. I left with a charge of $48.15 after only getting an oil change. I was told that I had to pay extra for 1.6ltrs of extra oil over 5ltr., included in promo, no problem there, but when taxes and eco fees were added in it came up to this total! They also said that they had no time to do the free 20 point inspection they usually do in their oil change, even though there was no one else waiting after me... Kind of feel ripped off here!

I recently bought a truck and am having some oil consumption issues which requires me to have my oil checked every 300 kms. I was previously a loyal customer to Lube City for over a decade but when I went in they told me they would not check my oil unless they charged me $10. I could not believe they would charge me to check my oil after spending thousands of dollars on services. That's when I came to Great Canadian Oil Change. They immediately won me over as a customer and the tech Marcee was knowledgeable and friendly. They have never charged me to top up my oil or for something as simple as pulling the dipstick.

What more can you ask for, an oil change is a oil change and the rest is bells and whistles. For $49.99 and a $6 coupon off will bring me back. I change my own wiper blades, air filter and cabin filter. Everything else takes me back to the car dealership as it should be. My bill indicated lights were checked and wiper blades but neither was done. Nobody told me right turn signal turn on etc and wiper blades were not touched!

My sister went here for her oil change and they lied to her to try and get more money. They said her serpentine belt, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid all needed to be changed. Luckily she didn't buy into it and had me look at those things for her and they were all good. When I checked the transmission fluid it was clean but when they showed her the transmission dip stick after they checked it she said it was black so I'm assuming they dipped it in someone's old black engine oil and told her it was from her truck. I would not recommend this scabby place to anyone

Super quick and easy oil change right off King George. I was able to pull off a $20 off coupon from the website too. No pressure to buy additional features or services. Didn't even have to get out of the car. They provided cofeee, a free air freshener and a car wash. The whole thing took 10-15 mins. I'd come back again!

I came here for oil change for the first time a few months ago. This is the best service I have ever gotten in the past 10 years compared any other shop I have gone to. The worker was honest, explained everything in a language someone like me (doesn't know much about cars mechanically) understood. I also observed how well the staff here work as a team. Therefore I came here again for a second time recently and I had a different worker but the exact same wonderful customer service. Had oil change done on my 4runner last night. I thought the service was good as they worked fast but as soon as I was driving the highway, heard some noise underneath the vehicle so I pulled over. I found that the skid plates and covers are not put back properly causing it to flap around and now its damaged.
