(That made us happy, we had changed the wipers ourselves, but never realized we had made a mistake.) Been here a few times with no major complaints. As with any of these types of places, beware the upsells. My first visit, they tried to upsell me an "oil flush because the oil was dark" which was silly... because I was already getting an oil change and that's what an oil change is. But all other visits have been on point with good service, and other recommendations for filters, plugs, etc have been good.

Brought my Mazda 3 in a couple weeks ago for an oil change. Everything went smoothly and the technician that I dealt with was very pleasant. My wife had a family emergency and left the following day to drive the car from Belleville to Halifax. Prior to my wife arriving in Halifax the low oil pressure light came on. She pulled over to find out that she had been leaking oil the entire 1600km drive. Turns out that the drain bolt was not properly torqued and it came loose and caused an oil leak. Very major aspect of an oil change to overlook. I do NOT recommend this place due to possibly damage to engine, plus tow truck fee and an addition oil change.

Almost destroyed my truck getting oil changed here! Got oil change here then tuneup at Canadian Tire after. Thankfully Canadian Tire noticed oil was leaking from the new oil filter and notified me. All oil leaked out because of bad seal. Took it back to Pennzoil and they said it looked like my engine was leaking from somewhere else and it wasn't their fault. They took no responsibility at all. So I paid for an oil change, Then had to go out and buy a new filter and oil and do it again myself. This fixed the leak. If you like your vehicle and don't want the engine destroyed then stay away from this place. Because if there is an issue they will not take responsibility for it.

For he price of the oil change, comes free top up of all fluids for free. The only downside for using a place like this is that you miss out on regular inspections from your mechanic.

My Wife took our Nissan Altima in for oil. Manager lied to her, suggesting that only a synthetic oil was to be used... only because of the brand of car. Tried to sell her a air filter for $29! When questioned on the cost she got attitude from him... In the end for $82, all I got was an oil change, and bad attitude. The "fluid checks" included no top up of any fluids (rad/washer etc), and she drove away with a low tire pressure in one tire. Taking advantage of women is never acceptable in todays day!

I visited this location twice for an oil change. The service was great and the employees were helpful and respectful. It was hot one day and they offered ice cold water, the next time we went it was cold and we were offered hot coffee. Fast forward to today and I'm trying to get oil change records sent to me so I can make a warranty claim on my newish car. I called and asked for the records of my oil change and I was very happy with the service I got. Once again they were super friendly and didn't make any fuss about sending me my records from their shop. He sent it to me while I was on the phone with him. ????

you can go for an oil change without an appointment.that was the perfect thing for this place made me a customer of jiffy lube.a few times i had my oil-change with these guys and all the time they make you to pay some extra.today again i went there for a 93 dollars oil change but i was charged an extra filter change without being asked.every time i went there i had this issue.they have a professional set up to charge you more.become a customer then you will understand how professional they are at creating surcharges....i am not happy with them and will look for another place for my next oil change

My girlfriend took our truck here and was told it was going to cost more because it was low on oil. When you do an oil change the same amount of oil goes in regardless what came out of the truck. Unless they are using old oil and just topping it up. Definately never coming here or any other jiffy lube again.

Absolute excellence. These guys deserve a rating higher than 5 out of 5. I will never go anywhere else. I have nothing but praise for Jiffy Lube and their incredible staff. They have never tried to upsell me, they provide an honest and holistic assessment of the state of affairs under the hood with a great attitude. Outstanding service that you can trust is hard to find, but it seems to be a specialty at this shop. Anecdotally: Years ago, I had a serpentine belt which was quite worn, they explained to me the issue and instead of a sales pitch I got genuine interest, concern and a bit of an education. More recently, I was living in Toronto I got an oil change at another shop(certainly my error). That shop told me the transmission fluid was dirty in my newly bought car. I was skeptical, brought it to the staff at Jiffy Lube they were able to tell me my Jeep was a closed system and the transmission fluid was to last me the life of my car unless I was doing heavy towing. They referred me to the dealership if I had any further concerns about the fluid. They refused to charge for this service, which provided piece of mind and probably saved me a pretty penny. A few weeks ago, I popped in to see if they could change my summer tires to winters. Because they were not on rims they couldn't but when I asked where I might get them changed quickly and conveniently Ron was not only understanding and sympathetic to the situation but also super helpful. He walked with me over to another shop and got me connected with that service in their next available opening. Today, was simply another example of their exemplary service. I ran my truck in because my check engine light was on. Even with a full shop Gord had me pull aside in their driveway and Cody ran a computer diagnostic. After my truck threw an unfamiliar code Cody consulted with Gord and the shop guys to see what might be the problem. Cody so kind, understanding and actually repaired the issue, no more check engine light. It was quick and convenient and to my shock free of charge. I was in, out and back to work within 15 minutes. These guys are the real deal. They wrote the book on impeccable customer service. Keep up the amazing work guys! Brit in the black Jeep

So, I drove in to this place because the sticker on my window said I was overdue for an oil change and the location was convenient. I had never been there before. There was only one bay available so I drove right in and two staff members were immediately there to assist me. I don't know the name of the young gentleman, but after opening my hood and checking the oil, he brought the dipstick around to show me that the oil still looked really good and that I didn't need an oil change. He said he would do it if I wanted, but that I could probably wait another 3-5 thousand kms before it was necessary. Turns out, the dealership made a mistake and put the wrong kms on the sticker when they last did an oil change. It would have been too easy for him to make a quick $90 by doing the service and not saying a word, but he didn't do that. He was honest, and for that, Jiffy Lube in Belleville has a new loyal customer who happens to own a business with a fleet and will be sending more business their way. Thank you for being honest and trustworthy. That means everything in my books!

Though it can be tempting to continually put off changing your car oil, in the long run, making sure your car’s engine has everything it needs to run properly will save you time, money and unnecessary headaches! By changing the engine’s oil, you ensure that internal parts of your car’s engine are kept cool and well-lubricated. Without regular oil changes, the engine can experience wear and damage as its moving parts grind against one another. Sludge, dirt and moisture can accumulate, sometimes causing issues that can be misdiagnosed as an internal engine problem. If you see advertisements for synthetic blend or fully synthetic oil promising fuel economy or gain in horsepower, it’s better to remain skeptical. Better car oil improves car efficiency, but if you’re using your car the way an average driver would, the difference in terms of horsepower or fuel economy might not be noticeable enough for a more expensive type of car oil to be worth the investment. Regular maintenance Regular oil change is also a great way to spend your time with your car, and address little issues that can build up over time. For example, you can establish a rule of thumb in which every third oil change also means rotating your tires. If you find yourself repeatedly adding fluid, it can indicate a leak, such as a defective water pump. The second cheapest price I've ever paid for synthetic oil change, the mileage sticker printed out was for 10,000 kms, which was the highest I've ever seen. They checked stuff like the fluid levels, the lights, the air filter, and the tire pressure. They didn't try to up sell anything which was a relief. They showed me the oil level after changing it. They were both friendly enough. The garage itself wasn't the most impressive, just wasn't as clean or big or as open as some others, but that's just nitpicking. I'm mostly just fixated on things like leaky boxes of oil all stacked together, they just looked messy, and the containers/jugs they use to change the oil with look used and dirty. They did however change the oil in record time, beating out other places with twice as many people. I would say I left impressed and satisfied overall and would recommend them to people in a hurry that want a cheap oil change and don't want to be up sold something at every point in the inspection. They didn't catch any issues like my one accent light not working, or my needing a wheel alignment, and they didn't mention that maybe I should be changing my tires to snow tires, nothing like that. So if you are looking for a more thorough inspection, with a more 'we care about your safety and take that very seriously' kind of attitude, then you know what you need to do. For everyone else this is a great place for a quick and cheap oil change that covers the basics.

Biggest rip off I have seen for a while other than the great canadian oil change, staff in Belleville, did nothing to my car other than change the oil. On the sheet I signed for service had things checked off as checked like tire, coolant, wipers etc. The staff there not diligent with there jobs and for 90 dollars I expect more because they could have at least checked some of the things on the list other than none at all. I will say it was my first and only time to a jiffy lube I would have been better off at Walmart. The Penzoil they used is 28 dollars at a local store for my car. Ok the filter was 10 dollars so that's 38 dollars, so were did the other 52 dollars for service? I hope not.

A very well run business with great staff. You can be assured you are in good hands with these people. They methodically went through their multi point inspection. They pointed out a couple of issues that I already knew existed. They offered me refreshments. They pointed out services that they could do to my vehicle without being pushy on any of them. They even cleaned up my corroded battery terminals (which was never done by my dealership during one of my more expensive service visits there). I came in to this Jiffy Lube shop the other day and had an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience with them. Please read the other negative reviews under this location to get a real grasp of the type of place this is. I've never gone ahead and written reviews, but I want to ensure people can avoid this headache. I had gone in to find out what kind of service offering I'd be getting for a regular oil change, I live in the GTA and I am well aware of what options are available for alternative companies. I was quoted outrageously high for just a basic oil change by the bigger gentleman. I've had services include full car cleanings. when I asked if the service would include anything else, the manager name starting with was extremely defensive. What was a genuine question, had him insulted. He starts acting passive-aggressive, raising his voice and acting like an animated child. Arrogant to say the least. Even customer service training wouldn't help a bad worker/manager like this. I highly recommend visiting Oshawa Jiffy Lube location for a more pleasant and better value experience.

I was sitting inside my car the entire time. I now have brand spanking new oil with an old filter. These guys really can't be trusted.. atleast the guy that seemed to be in charge. My recent oil change was the best experience I've had at Jiffy Lube. All the staff were young and so friendly. I needed a new in cabin air filter and when installing it they discovered my vents were plugged full of tiny dead leaves. With most businesses you arrive, things go smoothly and you leave. It is inevitable that sometimes things do not go to plan and it is in these moments that businesses either rise to the occasion or show their unflattering true colours. As luck would have it, I drew the (un)lucky card and was met with an issue which was caused by the technician during my oil change. Upon discovering the issue I contacted Jiffy Lube. They owned the error and took immediate temporary steps to resolve the issue and once the parts came in fully rectified the issue. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend getting your vehicle serviced at Jiffy Lube Courtenay. In all likelihood they'll do a great job the first time and if they happen to make a mistake you can count on them to make it right.

Always get my oil changed here. Most the guys know my wife and I by name and don't try to push extras on us. They tell me straight up if it must be done, can be done next time or to keep an eye on things like wipers. Fast and friendly service and when I ask them what coupons are out they tell me. Always check online as there is usually at least a $5 off coupon available. Best to go early in the morning if you can. If you see them backed up and don't have time swing by later in the day. With each oil change you also get a complimentary car wash at the car wash behind them.

While filter was being changed Dave checked my dim headlight, for which I’d purchased a new bulb from Lordco. He told me to return it, as it wasn’t needed. I have to agree with the other reviewers. I have just moved to Chatham and needed an oil change. I called and was greeted by a very friendly staffer. He guided me to their location and when I got there the three staff jumped to work! Drained, filled, tires pressurized etc. Then the bombshell! "Your cabin filter and air filter are starting to get dirty.". I thought, " Here we go, add on time.". But the young guy said, "I can pull out the leaves and you will be good to go until at least your next oil change!". Wow! Then to add a bonus reason for a 5 star rating, he offered me as many car washes as I'd like at the attached car wash for only $5.00 each! That saves me $10.00 each time I run my car through! The deal lasts for 6 months on top of that! I immediately tried the car wash and was very impressed with the quality of the wash and wax! Cleaned, waxed, dried very well. They even offered me an air freshener. Can't be happier. They have gained a new regular customer for as long as I live in Chatham, and that plan is permanent! Great job guys!

Amazing!...Yesterday, Jiffy Lube Courtenay did an oil change on my VW Taureg. Diesel..(8 litres of Euro Spec oil.)
