Nice clean, new car wash. Two times the machine didn't read either of my credit cards, the machine starts counting down the moment you put money in, not once you have selected the setting. There is 2-3 times the lag time of some other popular car washes in switching over from soap to rinse and vice versa. I guess you gotta pay for all the fancy buildings somehow.

New building with lots of bays. Wand washing doesn't get the vehicle really clean. I have to rewash on the driveway after. I would only recommend this for quick cleaning and winter time. In the summer I get better results washing at home.

Beautiful facility, but terrible wands and water pressure. I can wash my car at golfs and NEVER need the foam brush and it comes out sparkly clean. Every single time I wash at Spiffy without using the foam brush, the car comes out only half washed. The wand nozzles do not focus the water onto the car, but instead disperse it over a very large area which reduces the cleaning ability. A $8 golfs wash equivalent costs me over $15 at spiffy for the extra time involved. Not worth it... learned my lesson, never going back.

Huge new car wash in the auto mall. Large and clean. Even with a long line up, you'll be in to the wash quickly since there's so many bays. I believe they have a dog wash and a RV / large vehicle wash as well.

I didn't like how the machine starts counting but makes you pick your settings again after you enter the coin. Air dryer didnt work well, it would've costed me $10 just to dry off my vehicle. Employees are friendly and the place is well maintained. Overall it costed me $25 to wash my pickup truck, with average saskatchewan dirt, bugs & grime, no mud. You decide if thats expensive or not.

Editing my review: was there recently and noticed that the triple foam conditioner has been constantly working, that was my only concern prior but it seems that management has fixed the issue. One thing is if you use the brush they have in house make sure you rinse it out prior to using it. Sometimes dirt can get left behind. Learn from my mistake and don't scratch your car ????

Pressure isn’t as good as Golf’s car wash and I can’t confirm this, but it seems more expensive. Also, it is a bit of a scam that you have to press the ‘off’ button twice to finish the transaction or else they charge you $10. To me that is the least intuitive system, when I hit off on something I’m finished.

Incredibly annoyed by this place. The credit card readers in this place are terrible. Your lucky if you get one that will read. If you goto the desk the first thing they do is try to sell you a spiffy card. I do not want it. I want your reader to work. I've tried this with my wife's and my cc's and have the same result. Take into consideration that I only usually tap my card so the mag strip has barely any swipes since I've had it.

Very clean bays! Definitely the best car wash on the west side of the city. Going anywhere else would be a waste of money! Edit Sept 23, 2019 Boy have things gone down hill. The pressure is now so terrible that you can hardly remove a thin layer of dirt without spending $20! Also the bays and equipment are not kept in the same clean and functioning condition that they used to be. Not worth your time or money going here!

Normally its been decent but today was brutal. Low pressure and the wand was pulsating making for a horrible wash. Had to wash and scrub twice to het any dirt off.. Should never take $30 to wash a ford edge, thats double what it normally takes.. It will be awhile before i come back and try again.

I would advise anyone to stay away from these car washes. I loaded $10 onto a card to wash some winter grime off my bicycle (approximately 2 minutes on soap and 1 min. on rinse). Expecting to be able to go back a few more times I find out it used up my entire balance. I phoned to find out what was going on and was told then that you have to press off twice and that there's nothing they could do.

Vacuum in #1doesn't work and the lady who work there she knew that that ate my my Tootsie so she tried to tell me that she was going to give me free vacuum service for as long as I wanted and it didn't even go that long and I ended up missing and vacuuming half my truck only and then when I filled out of the spiffy car Wash there's a thousand of those tiny little water bumps ice pieces that job my tires and it's really uncomfortable for my ride so if they could clean up those little ice pieces that stick up like spikes right when you leave the place maybe I'd rate at 5

There is a few options for car wash bays on the west side of Saskatoon. To me their is no comparison anymore. The other guys have decent facilities but Spiffy is above average. There is never a wait, all bays are open and always clean. The pumps switch from soap to rinse promptly and that is my #1 problem with the other places. I do not know the price difference as far as minutes per $1.00 but I'm sure it's competitive. I believe Spiffy has gone above and beyond with this facility.

Usually it takes 4$ to wash my small vehicle at other car washes, but its a scam here. Inserting money will start the time without any options activated. You lose about 5 seconds trying to press the button like its lagging. When switching to rinse to soap usually takes an eternity when the soap comes out and switching back to rinse, but guess what? Soap still comes out of the line and you have to wait another eternity.

It was my first time at a Spiffy Car Wash and I am glad I went!! When I went to ask the person at the desk about how things worked, I lucked out and was treated to a full run-down by the owner. He used his own swipe card to physically show me all the different functions while he explained the entire process of doing a complete car wash. I really appreciated the thoroughness of his explanation, the tips he provided and getting the first few stages of the process (tire clean, pre-soak and soap) free of charge. I also appreciated his recommendation to get a Spiffy card to get a few more dollars value instead of using my credit card directly in the machine. This is now the only place I will wash my Jeep!

Was a great car wash when new… it certainly has fallen too a low degree. I have been dissapointed 7 times out of ten. Either there is no hot water or after spend 12- 15 dollars your vehicle leaves with a white scum. Yes, that's after soap and cold rinse and spot free. Don't waste your time or money here, go directly to the south side… too bad , poor management I guess.

They keep the bays clean and someone right at the door to.open it for you. Has a card u can get and out $$ on to pay with but would be better if u could just use interact right at the wash station. If I'm around the area and need a wash again I'll swing by here again since I got the card too.

I have used spiffy car wash in Saskatoon many times and I have spent up to $30-$40 at their car wash because I like them. However, this was my first time using THIS LOCATION and I will not be returning. After spending almost $20 to use their equipment to clean my own car, I had just started to wipe down the inside of my car doors which is what I always do at the end of my car wash because their vaccum tubing rubs on the inside of my doors. As I’m doing this, a man approached me. My timer had just ran out and he walked into my station and looked at my timer. I could not tell if he was another customer or a worker because he was dressed in normal street clothes and had no name tag on. I now am quiet sure he was the manager or owner, and wow was he ever rude. He spent about five minutes scolding me, he told me that I need to put money in the timer to wipe down my car. Then told me that I can do that outside since there’s people waiting to get in. I told him no worries at all, I didn’t realize that people were waiting and I will leave. Then I went to leave but he kept talking at me. He said I could go in the RV section and made me feel stupid for not knowing that. If he had left it at that it would’ve been fine. But then he had to keep repeating himself and everytime I tried to talk he wouldn’t listen to anything I had to say. I understood where he was coming from, if people were waiting, but there was not a line when I arrived and there were still empty stalls in the building. I was fine to hurry up and leave if people were waiting, however the owner made me out to be inconsiderate and ignorant. He had no interest in being friendly about it and no interest in seeing things from my point of view, which was that I did not know he had someone waiting to get in, when I’ve spent $20-$30 to clean my car For the last two years at other locations they have allowed me five minutes to then wipe down the inside of my car. I was excited to get out and clean my car today, but this horrible customer service definitely ruined my day. I won’t spend money here again. When I left there was no lineup to get in. I also agree with other reviews, timer shouldn’t start as soon as my coin drops in before I select what I want and start using the wand.

Not overly impressed with the customer service I received at this location. I showed up at 9:50pm, 10 minutes before closing time to give my truck a quick rinse. Ended up sitting at the door until 9:56pm waiting for someone to let me in and honked several times to get the attention of the employees inside. When someone finally came out, they sarcastically said, "We close in 4 minutes," and "Can you was your truck in 4 minutes?" They let me in and to prove my point, I finished washing my truck in 3 minutes and was on my way. If your business has hours posted on your door you don't get to start closing up 15 minutes before just so you can leave right at 10pm. I rate this location 2 stars because it is actually a pretty nice and new facility.

I do not recommend using this car wash. When I arrived I put in one dollar that got me 55 seconds, and by the 6th dollar I put in the screen only registered 51 seconds, after that I stopped watching the clock. Switch over between soap and water takes almost 30 seconds, And if you were to time actual usage time wity a stopwatch instead of their clock, I'm not convinced it would be accurate. Every time I come here its because this is closer to home than my normal car wash, and every time I am dissapointed and leave having spent more money than expected. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here.

A few months ago I gave this place a great review, however after a few trips to the dog wash I had to revise it, Tables are unsafe and wobbly, the switches on the blow dryers do not work, no heat, always out of towels, the equipment is wore out and in need of repairs, this place needs some attention to be safe.

I went to spiffy twice. There are long lines on sundays, plan to wait 10min at least to get in. Once inside, spend sometime trying to figure out what to use because there are so many options that you might get confused. The labels are not so clean for me. I reccomend to use mainly water and high pressure soap. The vacuum and the dry air I wouldn't use again because it takes too long to clean inside and your wash is going to be very expensive.

We wanted to try the wash and honestly was so disappointed. It took 20 try’s to go my visa to work and all the staff wanted to do was sell me a spiffy card. The pressure is quite a bit weaker than other places in town. The wands are also shorter than other places so don’t go if you have a truck. Wands are very heavy so ladies bulk up before going. All in all disappointing and won’t go back. There are other places in town much better and cheaper.

Ive always gone to the 8th street location for several years now and have NEVER had an issue, this is the first time I go to this location causing me to leave and go to the 8the street location. I had gone into a bay where the machine wasnt working too well on many of the options, when I asked the worker for assistance he said "I dont know how to fix that for you." and left I said it was fine and I got another issue and issue and the worker had said once again " I dont know how to fix that for you, can you move to another bay" I had already taken my mats out and he did not offer to assist me in any way, as im walking back and forth to get my mats a car pulls up to the same bay I was in, I had to inform the lady that the machine wasnt working as the worker had his headphones in and was just sitting and she moved to a different bay. I go to the bay I moved to, to realize he put me in a bay that was extremely dirty to where I just rinsed the soap off my car and left to the other location.

I really love the service at this car wash. The tools used there leave no watermarks when used properly and the wax leaves it shiny. The employees are always helpful as well.

Very disappointed as Spiffy is close to home! Few issues I ran into, card would not read. Okay not too big of a deal. Grabbed change and $1 gets like 45 seconds which I get it, you guys need to make money. And lastly whatever type of cheap soap they use leaves a bit of a film and doesnt clean very well on it's own without agitation.

Used the truck/rv wash bay. Great set up but has never had the tire/engine degreaser. I was also unaware you could just pull in out of the extreme cold and do mechanical work on vehicles free of charge without washing a vehicle. Just like the person already in there in the photo. The nice wide bay made it very easy to back the truck and trailer out the in door and almost into another customer coming around the corner heading to the car wash side.

It's clean and bright inside . It was busy . The staff member I dealt with was friendly. I don't like that the I had reswipe the wash card to continue washing . I have used wash cards at a few other places and didn't need to do this .

Be careful with the machine, it requires you to press off twice for it to stop. I've been coming here for months and never noticed, the staff apparently shuts it off for those who don't. The last two times I went someone must have continued on my visa and I got charged $10 twice, instead of my usually 5 minute washes. I emailed them, no response. I spoke with an employee and he said there was nothing he could do about it even though I had previous statements showing my average spending's at this place. Disappointed.

I go here all the time (probably twice a week for a quick wash) and other than some of the machines not taking coins I’ve never had any issues. Today, after I finished washing, someone I assume was the manager came up and told me to run the meter while I wiped my mirrors and windows. It takes me hardly any time to do this and there was no one behind me when I pulled in so it wasn’t excessively busy. Most of the time when I’m in there it is not busy. I always wipe my mirrors and windows before leaving so I can see where I’m going. This greedy behaviour has lost them a repeat customer. Not going back.

First time using this type of car wash. Tried to get loonies and toonies and was told NO cash back. Then came back with that’s why we have a ATM there. I didn’t see it when I walked in. Then when I got cash out I asked to exchange for coins. He said “no that’s why we have change machines right there.” The attendant working has no customer service at all.

The equipment is really good and the wash bays are well lit and clean. It's more expensive than Golf's but less busy. You also can use your credit card right in the wash bays for convinence.

Car wash is clean, had no issues with using anything. Wasn't really busy when I showed up and there wasn't any pressure to leave. Did turn out to be fairly expensive because of the cost per minute at this location but I don't think that that's unreasonable given the new facility and clean areas.

I usually come here weekly! The owner came up to tell me keep the metre running cuz I took two minutes to scrub salt off my rim? Oh excuse me! I just spent $16 washing my vehicle and I am slower than most? Maybe he didnt see my handicap sticker? Sorry next time Ill get speedy Gonzalez. ADD: My spouse said we spend a bundle here dont let two minutes bother you! Lol

I needed to wash my Jeep Grand Cherokee and thought I would thy Spiffy. This has got to be the most expensive car wash in Saskatoon. Even more expensive than Golf's, which I didn't think was possible. It took me $10 at Golf's to rinse, wash, and rinse my Jeep. At Spiffy it cost me $3 just to rinse the Jeep. I didn't have even close to enough to wash and then do a second rinse. I wouldn't suggest anyone use Spiffy unless they have $20 to burn.

I've always been very happy with the Spiffy car wash in our neighborhood. The staff does a good job of cleaning up between cars and the Spiffy card is convenient to use each time and also to reload money into when the time comes.

I was working near by so I decided to wash my veichle on my lunch break. It was a good idea as I've never visited this place before and my car was filthy. This facility is huge! Lots of bays to choose from. Multiple functions for cleaning your veichle. I only used soap wash and wax rinse. But their is many more. I was able to clean my car for $5 . They have change machines, staff on loction. Great place to get a car wash

It's an ok car wash if your car isnt really dirty, very expensive with bays that aren't kept clean, next to no pressure which makes it hard to wash. Leave and get in the sun and you can see that it basically only rinsed you vechicle off. This carwash use to be my favorite but it's gotten to expensive compared to other ones in the city that are kept really clean and do an amazing job and cleaning up your car.

Had a little problem come up trying to wash my company vehicle today, and the employees handled it absolutely fantastically - right from the staff on site to the manager that was called. Thanks Spiffy, I'll be back no doubt. Always a super clean facility with friendly staff where everything works as it should. Even at this busy time of the year.

Super nice car wash. Staff cleans the bay immediately after a car pulls out so you’re starting in a nice clean bay. Vacuums on both sides on the bay so you aren’t dragging a hose all over the place. I’ll be back.

We give this car wash 3 stars because it's clean and the equipment works. On the other hand it is getting really expensive, it used to be one dollar for one minute now it's one dollar for 50seconds what's going on here? And why does the count down start before you select your desired spray setting? Are you trying to rip us off? We have such a little car and we feel like we have to be superman just to get it clean! It's a race against the clock! It costs us 10dollars minimum to wash a compact car that's not even that dirty! Please reevaluate your wash and maybe you will get even busier!

Sooo clean, I love it, and such good staff, they are easy to talk with ???????? The choices on the cycle board, wow You have to try the foam canon lol Don’t like the value for twoony, feels low. You put you money in , and the timers is running, get confused looking at the board, your time is half lol, you start washing and it starts to beep. Typical car wash. Very clean, modern equipment, good location for me when passing through for kids activities. Price is decent. I have never used additional time here for detailing my car but I have seen others doing that when it is not busy so it must be accepted. Exactly what I look for in a car wash.
